381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: January 28, 2023, 03:52:10 PM
Many people think that it is as simple as possible, and most importantly, it is always profitable. It is important to understand that this is not at all the case. Trading requires concentration and, most importantly, learning. Many people want to make money without it.
the majority of people who are beginners in trading certainly think like this, but in fact it's not at all, trading is an activity that aims to double assets or generate profits just like any other business but it's not easy at all, small mistakes will only end badly and assets what we have invested in will just disappear.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: January 28, 2023, 01:19:48 PM
Binance's reputation is no doubt, they are official companies that have been registered, when binance requires KYC, many people leave binance, but with KYC then when problems occur it will be easier to find solutions, and it is proven when my account is hacking they immediately complete and restore assets.
I don't think that many have left them even if they've required everyone to comply with the KYC. It's like nothing to the majority to comply with the kyc because they're trusted by most.
If the asset and they've at fault when they lost it, for sure that there's compensation on their end. But if you're the one that has lost it, you're in no means to be refunded by them.
I don't really like the KYC system, but I have a Binance account because I believe in their credibility in protecting user data. see the effect section on FTX just because CZ offends a bit. so far Binance is an exchange that users can feel comfortable with.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 28, 2023, 12:00:23 PM
Recently I have had numerous reunions with Uncles from my extended family. Some of them are successful businessmen for decades. They built their business from nothing and are living quite a comfortable life now. We had long conversations about life in general, including their key to success. I knew very well that they have been hard workers ever since I had a memory so I would contribute their success to endless efforts. However, one thing they had mentioned in common was luck. They believe pure luck made them meet and grasp those opportunities and become successful rather than their smartness and efforts. I've thought about this before and couldn't agree with this more. They've set very good examples to me, including my father, and now I tend to focus more on work itself consistently and let luck or fate takes the rest.
I can quite grasp the conclusions you convey, and it can be said that luck plays a big role in our lives. just do consistently what you are doing every day (in this case I say a business) and hopefully luck will stay with you one day and the business you run will get bigger.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 28, 2023, 10:07:27 AM
I don't like keeping money in the bank because it makes no sense at all, you will only earn a very small amount of interest per year and that's a very big turn off, I will rather invest 90% of the money into stock and crypto, most important Bitcoin, 100,000$ available for long term investment is a life-changing opportunity, with this certain amount of money you can easily become a multimillionaire if you invest in the right projects.
just like me, I don't really like saving money in the bank because there is no increase in my money, I prefer to convert it into a form of investment such as bitcoin or gold, instead of just leaving it in the bank, the bank will definitely use the money.
385  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Apology to Bitcoin Community and Request for a 2nd Chance on: January 28, 2023, 09:53:25 AM
Previously I have participated in the bounty campaigns that you handled several times, although some ended well, some were disappointing, good luck with your request.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: January 27, 2023, 06:32:50 PM
We should not abandon paper money. It must always be remembered that paper money is the most untraceable by governments, and digital money allows officials to completely control the financial activities of their citizens. Yes, and in many cases it is very convenient to make small everyday transactions in cash, especially if transactions are made between citizens. Therefore, I think that cash will always be in demand. Their mass will undoubtedly decrease, however, to a certain level. In addition, cash should be kept at least as a backup option, when the use of technical devices for making non-cash payments becomes impossible due to various technical failures and large-scale disasters.
It's not safe to keep cash on a large scale because the government is always making new banknotes and the thing to fear is that the banknotes you keep will be withdrawn from circulation and that will expose yourself. for the next few decades, people will definitely continue to use paper money because the government also recommends that, but the use of digital money will shift the dominance of paper money.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 27, 2023, 06:10:54 PM
I personally think renting is wasting money. I'm also currently renting and planning to buy a cheap house in the suburbs soon because house prices and the cost of renting houses in the city center keep going up and I think it would be better if I had my own house even though it's on the outskirts of town.
388  Economy / Reputation / Re: Admins, ban jollygood and scamvirus on: January 27, 2023, 05:29:10 PM
In regards of my other thread, which ain't completely the same (you can find all the info over there) these people make false accusations and therefore don't belong here or does bitcointalk approve of sending out fake news?
jollygood and scamvirus have done nothing wrong, then the chances both of them of being banned are very small, I am not sure if the claims you made in your thread are true but you have to be honest with what jollygood marks, you have to prove you are a good person if you want to get your reputation back.
389  Other / Off-topic / Re: My Journey with Type-2 Diabetes on: January 26, 2023, 03:56:56 PM
thank you, OP for sharing your experience. just like the thread that I made, there I also aim for us to share information about health, every piece of advice written must have extraordinary meaning and I hope that all members of the forum can maintain health, don't let us start taking care of our health when we fall sick.

falling sick is not good, our time, energy, thoughts and money are drained, even normally our relationship with our family gets bad due to several factors, so take care of yourself and your health.
390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Make the world a better place on: January 26, 2023, 03:45:14 PM
Offensive words and less demeaning alternatives:

There are certain words that shouldn’t be used in the description of people or certain situation

It is offensive to refer to someone as a “drug addict” the proper term is a  “person struggling with substance use” or a “person with substance use disorder”.

“Drug addiction” in itself is also said to be offensive and is mostly being replaced with “Substance use disorder”

It is offensive to use the term “disabled person” is offensive. A better replacement can be a “differently abled person”.

When you want to make a reference to a mental health issue you do not refer to the individual as “a crazy person” rather a “person with a mental health issue”.

When talking about someone who lost their life through suicide you don’t say “committed suicide”  it is less offensive to say “died by suicide”.

Hope this helps 😄
I understand, you mean it's good to invite people to do things that are in accordance with what you wrote on this topic, but mental improvement like this can't be done by just one or 10 people, you need invitations for teachers to educate students and also the role of the government to educate all people through the media.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: January 26, 2023, 03:09:36 PM
Doge can go 1$ many people waiting that.
I'm not sure whether Dogecoin will be able to touch the value of $1 because I see that there is a lot of supply (currently stands at 132 billion dogecoin) and not everyone actively uses Dogecoin for transactions.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ 2022 FIFA Club World Cup - Morocco on: January 24, 2023, 12:22:24 PM
The advantage for the opposing team is that they are relatively unknown for Real Madrid. It will be difficult for the Spaniards to fix strategies and tactics against a team which has never played against them. But at the same time, teams like Auckland and Seattle Sounders will be very knowledgeable about Real's tactics. Still I am not lunatic enough to claim that there is even a remote chance of Real getting defeated by any of these teams. Real can only be defeated by themselves. If they don't make a mistake, then it is going to be a cakewalk for them.
there are 2 teams waiting for their opponents in the semifinals, that is Flamengo and Real Madrid. the club world cup is pretty prestigious, so I doubt Madrid doesn't study the strategies of their potential opponents.

Al Ahly is most likely to win against Auckland city, I predict that it is likely that the candidate for Madrid's opponent in the semifinals will be Al Hilal or Al Ahly.

‘Nothing left’: Teen loses $37,000 falling victim to alleged NAB scamstory
Quote
On December 3 last year, Aurora received an alarming text message that she believed was from her bank, which stated someone with a name she did not recognise was attempting to make a transfer from her account.

The message appeared to be from NAB, as it was from the same number and in the same text message thread as previous, legitimate communications from the bank.

This technique is known as spoofing, and is commonly used by scammers to appear more legitimate to potential victims.

Yes true and outside all this too, eating fruits regularly will help make ur body remain fresh,
Late night eating is not good for the body so it should be avoided and eating spicy food too is not too good for our body
Exercises helps too,  sleeping for at least 8hours daily will help rest the body and keeps the brain in a good working condition
Eating healthy food too and drinking clean water also contribute to a good health
everything you wrote is very true and indeed a great habit to stay fit and healthy. Maintaining health is like making a pattern, your body will get used to it when you have high discipline towards it, so it takes great consistency to stay healthy and fit, start slowly and try to keep it up.
