381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exchanges and wallets are going to support Bitcoin Gold on: October 19, 2017, 10:54:22 PM
There is all this fuss around Bitcoin Gold happening... I was wondering what are the exchanges and wallets who will be supporting this new token. Anyone with an interesting link with more information on this?
I've read that only two exchanges have implemented Bitcoin Gold into their website. YoBit exchange is one of them. I still wouldn't leave coins on there, it's better to just download a wallet.

The pubic support for Bitcoin Gold is lacking if they can only get Yobit to implement the airdrop.  Yobit is a horrible exchange.  I doubt Bitcoin Gold will be trading on any of the larger exchanges.  Keeping a lot of Bitcoins on Yobit is not wise either.  Their support system is almost non existent.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eth is weaker than you think on: October 19, 2017, 01:58:10 AM
I would never say Ethereum is weak, it is actually the best altcoin at the moment.  Being second only to Bitcoins.  There are many current and up and coming projects that are and will be on the Ethereum blockchain.  ETH's price is currently starting to reflect these accomplishments.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do to earn btc and altcoins? on: October 19, 2017, 01:55:08 AM
You can earn altcoins and some projects offer bitcoins by doing bounty campaigns like social media and signatures.  Sometimes the payout amounts aren't that pleasant because too many people are in the campaigns but if the project takes off, those coins could end up making you a decent amount of money.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another ICO ban, this time probably from Japan :( on: October 19, 2017, 01:50:45 AM
There is more than enough projects that have been around the block to invest in.  I think these bans might be good for cryptocurrencies because money will flow into these established projects instead of new ico's that can possibly end up being scams.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam or real ico on: October 19, 2017, 01:48:54 AM
It depends what your definition of a real ico is?  I would say a scam ico is a project that is ran by a person with no intentions of following through what they have stated in their white paper.  They pretty much just run off with your money.  You just need to research about the team and that will help eliminate some scams.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN-ICO]✅ 🚀⚡ OPPORTY ⚡🚀 ✅ DECENTRALIZED SELF-REGULATED BUSINESS PLATFORM ✅ on: October 17, 2017, 07:21:37 PM
How do you plan to engage your community to support your project? I've noticed a lot of ICO's just want to do the minimum when it comes to this, when they really should be focusing on it.

The Opporty Team consists of many SEO specialists.  I don't think they will have any issues with the marketing department.  There are also many social media campaigns currently going on if the community would like to participate in.  ICO starts tomorrow, good times ahead.   Smiley
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold BTC or Buy Altcoins - Hard fork on: October 17, 2017, 04:59:43 AM
When the crypto currency market is bullish, altcoins end up pumping harder and giving much higher profits than Bitcoins.  I have a feeling the price of Bitcoins will drop right before or immediately after the hard fork.  Bitcoin Gold also won't be worth as much as many people expected.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of Stake on: October 17, 2017, 04:12:26 AM
There are a lot of proof of stake coins.  The two that comes to my mind right away are Stratis (STRAT) and Insane (INSN).  Stratis does require around 20,000 to 25,000 STRAT to stake around 1 STRAT per day.  It's a pretty large investment but will pay off in the long run as the price increases.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet on: October 17, 2017, 04:08:44 AM
Regardless of what tokens you may have in your myetherwallet, you will need Ethereums to pay for the transaction fees (gas).  You can not pay for the transactions fees with the erc20 tokens you have in there.  If you plan on using your myetherwallet on a regular basis, it is best to fund it with a decent amount like around 0.25 to 0.5 ETH otherwise you'll have to keep funding your it and wasting gas each time.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GOLD - A well thought Scam? on: October 17, 2017, 04:02:16 AM
Bitcoin Gold is not getting the attention that Bitcoin Cash received.  It will probably just end up being a cheap coin on low volume exchanges.  I also heard that there was a 200,000 bitcoin gold premine which was suppose to be used for an ICO but something happened and it's no longer going to happen.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin GOLD - A well thought Scam? on: October 15, 2017, 06:44:37 AM
People keep saying all they want is the bitcoin gold to dump.  Ever wonder what if it's not listed on any major exchanges to dump?  If it just get's on a low volume exchange, the prices will be worthless.  Also, if there's a 200,000 bitcoin gold premine, does that mean 200,000 btc's will not receive there BTG?
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Exchange for Cryptos! on: October 15, 2017, 06:37:38 AM
There isn't one best exchange or one exchange that has all the altcoins to trade with.  Everyone has an account with at least two or more exchanges unless you're only trading Bitcoins and Ethereums.  Popular exchanges for altcoins are Bittrex, Poloniex and some new up and coming exchanges like Binance and Hitbtc.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: October 14, 2017, 12:22:11 AM
The market has been very brutal to altcoins this week.  I would suggest riding it out since you haven't lost anything yet by not selling.  Bitcoin can not be in the spotlight forever and eventually altcoins will shine again.  By selling now you might end up with a higher than 80% loss if you do not cash out to fiat.  There's a good chance bitcoin will drop after or even before the fork.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INSN Coin 🔷 POW/POS/Master Nodes/InstantTXs 🔷 18.4m Coins 🔷 on: October 13, 2017, 11:57:13 PM
Was this project a scam?

Originally, it was not.  Now, I still think it's not but the insane team is working at a very slow pace and it's driving the community insane which now reflects the insanely low prices.  I just hope the team does something quick to fix all the issues before the hole is dug too deep to get out of.
395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help on: October 13, 2017, 11:54:11 PM
Hi guys long story short I have got 2 bitcoins somewhere on exchange platform and I can't remember which one...
I bought them back in 2014 and then it was difficult to buy them, as far as I know there were only two platforms which  wore selling them. one of them virwox aand there was other one that I can't remember. Please give me a few platforms if you know any who wore running exchange in 2014
Thank you

The best chance you got is to search through your emails from 2014 to see which exchanges you have registered with.  Look through them and then log into all the accounts and check your balances.  Hopefully your bitcoins are still in an exchange that is still around today.  Request for a new password if you forgot your login information.
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will go down? on: October 13, 2017, 11:47:33 PM
If you have been holding bitcoins since the price was much lower, than you are in a good situation.  I wouldn't recommend buying new bitcoins just to receive bitcoin gold.  I don't even think bitcoin gold will be worth that much and their is a good chance that bitcoin prices can drop well below what you've paid for.  There are many people shorting bitcoin around these prices.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: October 12, 2017, 06:13:16 PM
Was .025 now trading at .04 and rising..........  Am I missing something here?

Can the community really take over as some have suggested?  I dont see how if the programmer has left the building.

It's a dead cat bounce and the team members are trying to buy time so they can dump (they're not very bright and have just made themselves complicit in the crime for the sake of a few Eth) but it's done because only Satoshi can do anything with eBTC code and he's probably hiding in the Amazon by now.

can't he/she/they be tracked?
i did some brief intel and found some stuff and i aint even that good at that kind of stuff.
come on guys, you can track him/her/them down!
these type of scammers hurt us all and really hurt crypto.
i know it has taught me some good lessons. ie. no more of my cash going into crazy crypto mess at the moment.

Yes, Satoshi can be tracked and by now someone in law enforcement probably knows who he is already, but prosecuting would depend on him still being in a country that cares (China doesn't for example), or in a country that has an extradition treaty with a country that cares.
Tracked him using his btc address in profile

He is from Indonesia, this is his steemit profile:

https://steemit.com/@keybelle

Just a kid by the looks of it

Haha.  His profiles says "Peace Maker"   Money goes a long ways in Indonesia.  Someone find his information so we can track him down.  Hire some Pencak Silat masters in Indonesia to shove a kerambit up his ass for trying to scam the cryptocurrency community.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: October 12, 2017, 06:09:38 PM
It sucks to see the price this low.  Does anyone know which address was the Dev's wallet?  I am wondering if he is still holding onto his tokens or have dumped them.  If this project ends up being a scam, it could end the trend of airdrops which is good.  I am sure the Dev owns a bunch of the 8000 addresses from the airdrop.  He might have been selling those during the peak prices.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: October 12, 2017, 06:03:20 PM
KICKICO has a strong team, good projects and good support. So bounty hunters should not be dissatisfied with the freeze until November 25 - that's good for them.

They know better the importance and reasons why they locked those funds but be sure who is to hold will never dump just because he/she received for participating in some promotional campaign. These rewards are opportunity and kickico is very big project which is going to make its mark very soon in crowdfunding platform area of expertise.

I am not sure which bounties will be locked up until November 25th but today I just saw that I received my bounty from the signature campaign.  I was also an investor during the pre sale.  I plan to hold onto kick tokens for a much better value.  It seems pretty cheap at the  moment.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES/BTC - Seem Breaking Soon, BUY now for GOOD profits on: October 10, 2017, 10:06:21 PM
I don't think any altcoin will be pumped before the hardfork for sure. Everybody dump their own alts now to get more btc.

So when is this Hardfork planned?

The fork for bitcoin is coming up October 20th or 25th I don't remember the exact date.  Shitty timing on WAVES part for their rollouts!!  As a WAVE holder myself I hope it blasts off and do good things by year end!!

Waves will be fine.  You can't just hold back on releases or announcements until you think it's a good time to release them.  That's pretty much market manipulation.  Waves has a lot of upcoming releases so it has a bright future regardless of when they come out.  Waves is not a one hit wonder project.
