381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Graphic] Bitcoin vs. The Government. on: March 10, 2017, 01:36:41 PM
but you know the supply is capped and not be edited even if with the favour of users! at least government can barely control the bitcoin.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Price drops after ETF not approved, it's because people are Dumb on: March 08, 2017, 10:17:11 PM
i don't really care of the drops as well, doesn't matter for the price if ETF is approved, all depends on how buyers think of that. probably this drop will only last a short period then a rise as buying bitcoins again.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: March 07, 2017, 11:48:57 AM
you should never rely investing in bitcoin.

bitcoin is not like a company, itself does not give you any kind of interest, nor is it a kind of scam. the problem around bitcoin, is its volatile pricing, which could make you go busted or billionaire within a short period because it is decentralised - no one legitimately backs the value of bitcoin.
384  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Coinroll ★ Signature Campaign ★ on: March 05, 2017, 12:35:23 AM
hi man, why are you guys not refreshing this thread regularly? Huh
btw the $ per posts to bitcoin is not much anymore, which could be decreasing the competition of this campaign.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like we are going to test $1,300+ on: March 04, 2017, 08:42:22 AM
i am sure the trend is not gonna resist the rise, because it has been soaring incessantly; thus the price of being $1500 within this month is possible, yet do not forget the competition of mining would affect the bitcoin price: if the fee is too high, more likely the price is trowed down for less volume expected.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can i do with Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2017, 12:57:12 PM
1. Invest
2. Play games
3. Mining
4. Gamble

And probably more things that i can't think off right now

Invest wisely, dont think investing is an easy task to earn bitcoins, same as gambling it has risks. I dont really get when you say playing games because playing games with bitcoin is considered gambling, unless it is a faucet. And the Op as what to do with bitcoin, not how to get bitcoin, so bitcoin is out of the list.
+1 all of those to use is risky, you will probably lose everything and even addict to that. as well, this is a form of the use if you wanna risk multiplying it.
387  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Mining on: February 27, 2017, 07:07:02 AM
i think that you can have a better power efficiency with raspberry pi 3 cluster instead of those mining stick, since Raspberry pi has just 5~6 watts per modest (AFAIK), where there are at least 24GFLOPS per node, should do around ~10 GH/s per node. hope i didn't make it wrong.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Egad. 81,000 + Transactions Unconfirmed. Again. Ugh! on: February 27, 2017, 06:47:39 AM
In this situation, I can foresee the risk of certain Bitcoin exchanges colluding with the miners, in order to prioritize the transactions by their users. For example, Coinbase can make a deal with Ghash or Eligius, and whenever these mining pools mine a block they will prioritize transactions by the Coinbase users. A bit far-fetched, but theoretically possible.

which means they wants to let the people using their services to get their transactions confirmed faster than the rest? or even something similar to selfish mining, not even giving priority for high fees yet not in their service? what the shit are those miners doing, this could have ruined the fairness of competition.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block is too large, what's the progress? on: February 27, 2017, 03:23:07 AM
progress? can you explain what the progress mean? Huh

i wanna say, normally the transactions with higher fee will be progressed faster than lower one. depends on its priority of the miners. miners might verify random transactions, mainly with larger transaction fees, thus it with lower fees will get a lower chance of priority. bitcoin core is also locked from other client is because to control the size of bitcoin blocks, in order to ensure majority of the client users able to sustain their wallet without migrating anything.

hope i could get the data from the Qt users of how much spaces of their PC for bitcoin core.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what about altcoin with unlimited potential supply? on: February 27, 2017, 03:14:40 AM
Doge continues dumping, it has no future because it has unlimited total supply, the inflation is the enemy of a currency.
that's not all the way true, from me. because there are increase of the world population, would that count? Huh
the problem is, that kind of cryptocurrency must be reliable if most of the cases, such as problems of premine, or its security. you cannot simply hype that currency thus popular, or limit the maximum supply thus better demand.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / what about altcoin with unlimited potential supply? on: February 27, 2017, 02:31:26 AM
have been seeing the altcoins such as dogecoin, peercoin, reddcoin, which has unlimited potential supply, however, have been seeing them falling since the end of 2016. so i would wish to ask about something: is the altcoins with that matter unable to sustain? why is those altcoin unpopular? Huh

disclaimer: my PC is not fast enough to synchronise any of the blockchains so i didn't have any Qt wallet, idk if other feature matters.
392  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: If you invest now you are a Guaranteed Millionaire on: February 27, 2017, 02:25:54 AM
I've seen worse
i have seen worse as well! people who asks investment from others claiming guaranteed profit is very likely a scam. how is it even possible to make you a millionaire without working at all? you're right.
393  Economy / Lending / Re: ★ ★ ★ LENDING ► CONDORAS SERVICE ◄ ESCROW ★ ★ ★ on: February 27, 2017, 02:14:55 AM
repaid .015 https://blockchain.info/tx/9d3698dacfe3e6a88ead3d0566a9a2cecf8debd71c521242d032227b3a044a7d
.009 + .015 = .024, .046 remaining.

will work longer on bitcoin forum to gain more about it, so i can repay within the end of March. Smiley
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees have quadrupled, and this is just the beginning on: February 26, 2017, 04:53:26 AM
It's still cheaper than paying a flat fee for bank accounts (where I'm from anyway). It costs money to move money. Who cares. It's still very cheap if you're sending it around the world.
that's because bitcoin is mainly using a flat fee rather than in percent. resulting  a situation that low-amount transactions have relatively high fees.

high transaction fees also encourage the consideration of the necessity upon sending, and to sustain the security of bitcoin by keeping sufficient fees to miners to maintain. lower fees can increase the speed of spending yet less people could sustain the larger blockchain size.
395  Other / Off-topic / AMD or Intel after March 2017? on: February 26, 2017, 04:40:40 AM
for the people who are concerning about the AMD is challenging the Intel, i want to know how you would feel about the price of high end CPUs between Ryzen or i7. Huh if the hype of AMD is true, some of the people holding high end PC with Intel are mad about it.

i will stand for 1700 with overclocking to 3.3 GHz. Grin
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees have quadrupled, and this is just the beginning on: February 26, 2017, 02:10:27 AM
https://blockchain.info/charts/transaction-fees

For much of 2016, fees in total were < 50 BTC/day.  Now, they are over 200.
(that's a 4x increase, not even factoring in the increased bitcoin price!)

For the dumbasses who wanted a "fee market", you got it.
It will only get worse from here.

Hint:  Unless bandwidth increases, fees will rise to be the same as other alternatives
like paypal, moneygram ,etc, which will destroy the incentive for people
to adopt bitcoin.

Except Paypal, moneygram and etc are different styles and you know that, you are comparing payment processors to something which I think is more like an etf (I know a listed ETF is coming but that is besides the point), bitcoin went the route of digital gold instead of a shopping payment method, this is because without changes its current path is the digital gold. We know this won't change because you can't get the Bitcoin community to vote on changing anything, fees will increase and block size will stay the same, an altcoin will be the fiat replacement, in my mine most likely dash.

i guess China is not gonna so do the whole bitcoin. their mining equipment would be abandoned if they could not have sufficient profits upon mining. that's why there is a certain alternative to challenge bitcoin - so bitcoin will have less of that burden if some altcoin becomes popular.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Everywhere? Not yet... on: February 25, 2017, 04:53:41 AM
bitcoin acceptacne, could have done by simply including a bitcoin core into the screen payment system stores are using, however, all of them would have to accomplish all the blockchain. since part of them would not able to do that, or they were weighting too much of their profit, they decided not. like in Hong Kong, accepting bitcoin could have made instantly - they don't want to.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: THE DUMP on: February 25, 2017, 04:44:53 AM
Just kiding guys Smiley

Currently celebrating ATH.  Cheers.

Lol what the fuck is going on? Why make this thread? Just to get some reactions out of people? See where the market was going to go? I don't see a crash happening, I truly don't. We had a tiny correction but it's holding very steady. No issues with staying over $1000 let alone $1100.
it is a form of FUD, i guess he wants to buy bitcoins at a lower price by randomly predicting a bad trend of its price. Tongue
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which scalable solution is better? on: February 25, 2017, 03:03:28 AM
Even if Segwit is implemented, we will see full blocks very quickly. Increasing block size is the scalable solution.
Unfortunately, consensus on this doesn't seem to be forthcoming. Everybody agrees that there is a problem, but we seem to be stuck in status quo.
yeah, block size increasing is one of the solution. however, we are not sure if the RAID works on synchronising the complete blockchain, because you are needing ~150 gigabytes of spaces in order to use bitcoin core. as well, increasing block size remains a problem: the higher bandwidth requirement.
