Datarecovery.com Offers Local Help for Victims of Ransomware Viruses

Ransomware is malicious software that blocks access to files until computer users pay a specific amount of money. Typically, ransomware encrypts the user’s files, completely preventing access. By using next-generation encryption technologies, ransomware programmers completely prevent file access with no chance of decryption via standard methods.

The computer user is then forced to pay through bitcoin or a similar untraceable currency. Common examples of ransomware include Cryptowall, CryptoLocker, KeRanger, and RSA4096. In most cases, ransomware executes when a user opens an apparently innocuous file from an email attachment or website.

Datarecovery.com is the first company offering targeted services to help ransomware victims recover their files, ideally without paying the ransom.

“There are three primary ways that we can help victims,” says Ben Carmitchel, CEO of Datarecovery.com, Inc. “The first is to determine if the data might be recoverable in another way. The second is to determine if the data can be decrypted by means other than paying the ransom. Finally, if all else fails, we can help users obtain bitcoin, pay the ransom, and recover their files.”

386  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid in Bitcoin for simple data entry (solving captchas). on: April 21, 2016, 11:55:42 AM
Minimum payout is raised to $7. Thanks.
1) when there are captchas like this "Click verify once there are none left", after correct solving, it it's changed to another captcha the same type and there is an error under captcha "Multiple correct solutions required - please solve more", so we are solving 2-3 captchas this type "Click verify once there are none left" and getting payd only for 1! Why? And wery ofthen there is another error when solving this stupid types of captchas "please also check the new images" but it's already soved 100% correct!
--

the multi solving is something related to reCaptcha and it happens usually when someone solves a lot of captcha with the same ip. so in order to avoid it, change your ip from time to time
387  Economy / Services / Re: Captcha solving [Worker] on: April 21, 2016, 11:48:06 AM
the mrai faucet is offline right now https://raiblocks.net/#/distribution
so you may need to wait until it comes online again in order to get offers from people who are interested. good luck Smiley

Cashila Partners With Bitnik Reload To Ensure Users Never Run Out Of Bitcoin

European payment processor Cashila has partnered with Bitnik Reload, a Slovenian bitcoin service that will automatically re-buy all the bitcoin a user spends at Cashila from the exchange they prefer.

Jani Valjavec, co-founder of Cashila, made the announcement in a blog post. He explains that for this service users simply need to use their default bitcoin address and make payments/transfers (pay bills, purchase goods, make cross border transactions or simply cash out) using Cashila.

Calling Reload as “a quite smart piece of software”, Valjavec added that it is a web application that keeps an eye on users’ public bitcoin address(es). When it detects that bitcoins have been spent (sent) from one of the observed address, Reload will immediately repurchase the equivalent amount of Bitcoin from a local bitcoin exchange, irrespective of the user’s residence. From now on, every time users make a payment via Cashila, their bitcoin wallet balance remains the same. Users will be able to make transfers to the euro-zone from all over the world and always get the best price.

“Reload will keep an eye on your public bitcoin addresses and when it sees you’ve spent some, it will automatically re-buy bitcoins, so you never run out. Anonymously and free of charge”, Valjavec said.

the good thing about this rise is this current rise is it succeeded in breaking the resistance point of $430 which stood strong and unbreakable in the last few month. if this bullish move continues, the price may reach $500 before May
390  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-04-20] StartUp - Official Teaser Trailer on: April 21, 2016, 09:03:54 AM
In comparison to a few documentaries made about crypto and Bitcoin, this looks very professional. It will definitely make people interested in finding out what these digital currencies are all about. I can't wait to see the full movie.

BTW it is a series not a movie Grin
I agree with you that may promote for cryptocurrencies better than any documentary movies or articles. people love drama

394  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: April 21, 2016, 08:27:06 AM
you can trade btc/usd and you will get profit from the ups and downs of the price if you excute your orders in the right timing.
it is risky but less risky than trading altcoin

Wirex brings blockchain to personal banking

Wirex may be as close as the fintech sector has yet come to providing a regular mobile bank built in considerable part on the bitcoin blockchain. Bitcoin, as Euromoney readers know, is very good for certain things that individual banking customers value: for micro-payments or transferring small sums quickly across border without paying hefty fees.

But it still feels like an amazing application in theory that isn’t much use in the real world. It’s not going to change the landscape of retail payments if you can’t buy a flat white with it at Café Nero.

Wirex may change that. Its founders – who focused initially on building E-coin, a business around bitcoin debit cards, before becoming dis-heartened by the slow pace of adoption – describe Wirex as a hybrid personal banking platform. Its target is to serve frequent travellers, international students, nomadic workers, for example in the knowledge industries, users of the big remittance corridors and even the unbanked.

399  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: April 18, 2016, 09:27:27 PM
It really has been a very boring market since the beginning of this year. there is no strong movements happen at all except the dump when a developer said that bitcoin is dying. otherwise, it is between $400 : $430 most of the time. I hope the rest of the year wont be the same
