I think its impossible to recover the cookies and cache of your browser except if you login in chrome you can be automatically save almost all your bookmarks and cookies and cache to sync automatically to your new browser but if are not logging in your email it is impossible to recover your account there if you forgot your seeds.. only seeds is one of the key to recover your wallet anytime anywhere..
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is working fine! No change needed! on: July 05, 2017, 10:35:19 PM
The problem is fees will continue to grow. A year ago we were paying 50% less, so what will happen in 2018? Another raise by 50%?
I don't know if it's working as intended, but somewhere someone has made a miscalculation. Maybe Satoshi didn't expect such growth or maybe he decided we will upgrade at some point. Anyway, thinking the market will regulate itself is naive, because the only regulation it's imposing is increasing the fees proportionally to the growing value of BTC, which makes long time holders say it's all fine, and newcomers complain and leave.
This is the only thing that i think the problem with bitcoin the fee is a big problem if segwit activation can give a solution about the increase of the fee and the increase of speed of transaction we will see a big price pump of bitcoin..
Bitcoin was fine last year because we are paying small amount of fee but right now we are experience of big fee if our transaction is high size even we are just sending a small amount of bitcoin but the fee is nearly the amount you send..
This should be priority to fix not other features..
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should long term holders sell before August 1st? on: July 05, 2017, 10:29:05 PM
Being a long term bitcoin holder i am little scared.some people are even saying bitcoin might fall to zero after August 1st.is that even a possibility?should i sell my bitcoins to cashout profits and wait it out? or should i keep holding? i want to hold bitcoin for another 4-5 years.so if the bitcoin prize falls after August 1st which is a very high chance then will it ever recover? what's the safe thing to do?
I think its not possible that the price can be fall until Zero its impossible many people are holding bitcoins if its true right now we are seeing the price drop and sell their own bitcoin before the price of bitcoin drop down or crash..
Since miners allowed to activate segwit it means it can give as a good effect after activation  so we will see a normal growth or we will see burst increase after this coming august.. So holding and buy more bitcoin is a good choice..
384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 04, 2017, 11:56:19 PM
Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM
My gambling activity is always limited when i gamble because i know what will be happen after i gamble since i am always lose in other games i just limit my self and use gambling only for past time only..
And just limit my self the amount i can spend that i can afford to lose.. limiting your self in gambling is a wise way to prevent of losing a lot.. but choosing to quit in gambling is smart way but it is hardly to me to stop.. i tried it before but i am still gamble..
385  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Put coins into single address on: July 04, 2017, 11:37:29 PM
To do this, you have to spend all the coins from all your different address to a single address. This way, you are spending all the UXTOs of the previous transactions and "merging" them into a single UXTO.

After that, you have to go to Tools>Preferences>Transactions and unselect "use change address".
Just read about some post here about merging but they don't actually share how to do merging bitcoin addresses in electrum..
Do you have any source of step by step how to merging bitcoin addresses into one address i got read some post the 1 input can decrease the transaction fee  and would like to test and hope you can give some blog post or you can share step by step merging bitcoin addresses.
386  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why is coinbase fee much higher? on: July 04, 2017, 11:32:02 PM
I just tried to send 0.0002 sat but the coinbase give me network fee of 0.0007983 btc that i think its really high for small transaction..
But if you send high amount of bitcoin the network fee are asking the same fee as small transaction.
It is not a good choice if you using coinbase for small transaction but if you are using coinbase for large transaction the network fee is reasonable..
If you want to have fully control with the fee use other wallet instead like multibit HD or electrum they have option to use dynamic fees or either manually input you fee but like other said always check the https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ for transaction speed estimation and what the fee can give you satisfaction..
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are best sources to learn trading on: July 04, 2017, 10:55:52 PM
You can search on youtube if you really want to learn how to trade..
Watch this old video  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ajmCPwR0k0
It can help you to learn about altcoin trading.. but first like other said start in small amount and learn first how trading works..
Trading is not easy to do to make profit there are many strategy are working but you should always look for safety ways and what altcoin is the best to choose check this site https://coinmarketcap.com/ and choose the top 20 altcoin that i think are safe to hold for a long time or much better to stay trading with bitcoin to usd "usd to bitcoin" for safety purposes.
388  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NitrogenSports scamming users on: July 04, 2017, 08:28:11 PM
I think this is not a good place to share about your experience in nitrogen sports you can move this thread here in gambling section where gamblers and gambling owners can read this. Move it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0
Well i never experience the same as yours and i think nitrogen sports is one of the great sports book these days .. since directbet.eu was gone nitrogen is the next bitcoin sports book alternative .. better to try discuss it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355081.5520
And maybe there are misunderstanding between mods in your issue..
389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BLOCKFOLIO Crypto Portfolio App Is Snooping On Users on: July 03, 2017, 11:19:36 PM
Base on what i seen this app is just for crypto news and other feature such as alerts, Charts and Orderbook, Latest news and portfolio over view .. But like other said its still not recommended to share all of your info related to your trading account you always should save your important info and never shared if you don't want to hack by someone..
This app can be useful to use for those who wanted to monitor their profit and  monitor any altcoin they want the good part is they can give you sound alert once the margin you set or threshold reach it gives you notification alert..
390  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do not deposit at cryptogames.io. !!!WARNING!!! on: July 03, 2017, 11:05:23 PM
Dicecoin.io redirects to duckdice.io for certain when I go there.  It's because I'm going to it from a US IP and if I use a VPN I can actually get to dicecoin.io.  Cryptogames.io also blocks USA users although that was a later in the history of the site when they started doing that.
USA is blocked by many dice sites but are you sure dicecoin redirects to duckdice if we visit from US IP? This sound quite serious now, if all three of this sites are connected than duckdice might also loss all the reputation they have earned so far. I have also played there and really like the user interface and support duckdice have.  Angry

Yes.  I'm 100% it redirects to duckdice. I have ever actually seen the dicecoin.io page until you mentioned it not redirecting for you.

Tested (from usa):

It's a referral link, but not sure why would they redirect to them. It's indeed a possibility that cryptogames.io = duckdice.io = dicecoin.io

if it is a referral link, then it makes no real sense
also just tested it from my country (not US) dicecoin loads as it is supposed to
so this redirect is most likely to cut the US customers, many sites are doing this to avoid legal actions or problems in the future
imho there is no connection between dicecoin and duckdice, looks like totally different concept and developpers were not the same

Cryptogames.io and duckdice.io are so obviously built by the same group of people.  Even if they aren't the same exact person they are close enough in degrees that I have no doubt that duckdice knows who is leaving cryptogames.io up to steal the money from anyone that deposits there.
Its obvious that cryptogames was planning to steal crypto-games.net customers and trying to hijack traffic as you can seen in rankings in google its a number 2 or top 2 to the real site.. that actually can affect the real website.. this is another way of marketing if you want to hijack the traffic since the brand name or domain name is little the same of the fake site..
So hope that google can remove that site in rankings or taking down that site in rankings because it can affect a lot the reputation of real site..
391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The worst support on: July 03, 2017, 10:59:16 PM
Almost many people are talking about poloniex they forgot about yobit is one of the worst support ever before that it takes a long time before you can receive your reply and sometimes you will never receive responds from them if you don't follow up your reports or any issue you get in trading site.
Polo as of now they can reply but it will nearly the same as yobit and i think they are having a big problem about their site.. Someone hackers are holding a big database of those site because they can login if you don't put any 2fa in your account.. and someone said they experience account blocked or freeze even they don't break the rules..
So if you want to safety of your investment always check the reviews and feedback of those sites before you invest because you will be experience worst support and errors in those sites. .
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of worst decisions do you take when trading? on: July 03, 2017, 06:13:41 PM
The worst decision I made is to invest in ICO's. Some of them have me profit but loss is more than what I have earned from them so I have made a decision of not investing in ICO's until it is backed up by a good community and has a future.
This is exactly what i experience buying ICO's gaining good profit but in the end losing a lot in ICO's that is why i stop investing in new altcoin because i think they are just the same as pyramid scheme.. and some of the other ICO are just use just to pump the price of other altcoin..
So for now i changed my strategy i am now choosing the top 20 altcoin where those coin can stay for too long and you can be still holding them for a long time and wait for the price increase back again and gaining a real profit..
The majority of my coins are litecoin xmr ethereum those are the best to me to hold because of the movement of the price even its not fast movement i still waiting for a long time and wait for the price increased before i sell and make profit..
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin fall to 1000$ please prediction crisis on: July 03, 2017, 06:07:38 PM
It will be a large dump if it will happen.. but i think the price won't dump a large price like your prediction its not a crisis many people are always buying bitcoin once they seen the price of bitcoin is really cheap more investors are willing to buy cheap price that can be still push the price back and increase its value.. but this coming august i really don't think so if the price of bitcoin will remain the same or the price can be increase more or we will experience of large dump. but i still believe that bitcoin can increase value and segwit can give us a good result remember 80% of miner are agree about segwit activation and i think they are not let bitcoin down because this is the only source of their investment.
So there are no exact what will happen in bitcoin but more possibility couldn't be happen the price fall in $1000 value.
394  Bitcoin / Electrum / Using multiple addresses and single address. on: June 30, 2017, 11:58:29 PM
Hi i would like to ask because i notice something that can affect the fee.. Because i was transfer my funds to other wallet but the fee is really high but use only 1 address right now in electrum and the old addresses i was used them before but now i want to use only 1 single address all my bitcoin is in 1 address and trying to send it to other wallet but the fee is really high because the other wallet address also in my transaction but i tried to backup the private key and install it again in electrum just to use only 1 single bitcoin address the result of fee is reduced.

My question what actually the reason why reduces the fee when i am using only a single wallet address?
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price after 1 August - Down 50% on: June 30, 2017, 11:42:33 PM
Bitcoin price after 1 August - Down 50%

how do you think about bitcoin price after 1 August 2017.
if there is hard folk, will price down to 50%??

I would like to know exactly.

No, even if there was a hard fork, i don't think that the price will go down by 50%.

If segwit is activated, then price will actually increase because we are able to have cheaper transaction fees again. There is no way to predict how much it'll rise by exactly though, bitcoin is a very volatile market, there is simply no way that you can predict that info.

Worst case scenario, if there turned out to be two "bitcoins", then the value of the two separate chains added together should prove to be somewhere close to the actual value of 1 BTC before the fork happened, because everyone should get the same amount of coins on 2 chains. And there should be very quickly a decisive winner, in my opinion the chances of two chains functioning simultaneously together for more than a few months/years is extremely small, one will quickly crash whilst the other will climb to the top to claim the throne.

Look at ETH and ETC, both of the coins are still alive months after hard fork happened. ETH is way ahead in price but ETC is still surviving. The same can happen to bitcoin if ever a hard fork happens.

I agree, I don't think there would be any problems that is so big that would kill bitcoins if there would be a hard fork. Though I think a hard fork will be unlikely and probably a soft one will ensue. Though, if there would be a hard fork I think the value of our coins will not go down because we would be holding two different coins with different values but the total would be the same.
I think this is still for beta and they are just adding a new features for hard fork.. for me still bitcoin will be still a good treasure because it lives for a long time.. hope that the hard fork can fill up the shortage of old bitcoin..
Miners are agree for activating segwit it means it can gives us a good result not for killing bitcoins the value will be still the same or will be balance because there is a hardfork well its not a big problem honestly that we can hold different coin.. since there are many altcoin also we are holding as alternative..
396  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: June 30, 2017, 11:13:11 PM
We have received reply from Electrum author. Plugin won't be included in wallet by default. Author believes it would create a law risk to add mixer into wallet. Our hook was merged so our plugin will work with new version, but it will need to be installed separately.

We have published an article at r/Bitcoin about how to use ChipMixer to avoid upcoming "declare cryptocurrencies" US law: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6jzc41/easy_way_to_avoid_upcoming_us_declare_btc_law/

Hmm, i don't think that chipmixer is really breaking any sort of law. Because all it is is essentially giving you chips with preset values in bitcoin to compensate for the bitcoins that you send to the service. It's a simple concept, and dont think that it's breaking any laws. It's just like swapping a $100 note for multiple $10 ones, $20 ones, or any mixture of both.

I mean, if they can get it installed by default then it's great because bitcoin needs more privacy, but if not, that's fine too. Just happy that it works at all on electrum.

Thank you dev for the excellent work, as always!
I think you have a point but i think alternative one can be still help in the new version can be still installed separately that we can be still use the mixer with the wallet..

I used chipmixer a few days ago and I got tricked, after sending my coins I got 3 small chips with the promise of merging them to get a big chip but the merging button wasn't working then I had to pay fees 3 times with one time of my main deposit, literally I lost 20% of my coins just paying fees. lol
If the merging button is not working i think there is a bug you should contact the support or wait for the reply of your post here.
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can you expain trade strategies? on: June 29, 2017, 11:59:58 PM
The common method actually in trading is buy low and sell high.. but i can give you some ways to start but you should start first in small amount just to learn what actually my method works..
Just invest in altcoin choose a top 20 altcoin just hold 3 or more depends if you can manage lots of altcoin, use coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/ to find the top 20 rankings .
Make 3 tier every 1 altcoin as sample. 10%, 15% and 25%. margin before you sell your bitcoin or altcoin..
Sample i have 1 bitcoin with the price of $2500 the tier 1 is 10% margin if the price was increase 10% or $2750 sell partial your bitcoin and the other partial sell them in 15% margin or $2875 so you are gaining more profit and if the price will increase more than 25% or $3125 sell the rest of your bitcoin..
Just do it every coin.. if the price is not increase instead the price is down just buy more coin. and start for small amount of the price to  try my own method and set up margin..
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: June 29, 2017, 10:54:03 PM
When did you start gambling online (and offline if you do not mind sharing)? Is it because of the awesome Games and Rounds forum at Bitcointalk?

Do you only start gambling after you use Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency) because you feel that you cannot be tracked?

I started gambling many years ago in a casino while I was on vacation. It was interesting and thrilling at the same time. Wondering if there is a way to consistently beat the casino at its own game, it kicked off my fascination with games of chance till this day.
i also start gambling years ago may be when i was in teen age, and now i am 36. i mostly play gambling with old traditional method but now it is gradually changing into modern method, using bitcoin while setting in my own house and play gambling online. although i was already playing sports gambling with local bookings using mobile phone, but now can use to play gambling online that is really fun.

Oh man, you grew up gambling! That's cool. Would you say that you profited from your gambling experience? Did you get better through time under your sports betting games? I actually stopped playing sprots gambling as I don't know if I could profit or just lose massive amounts of money for it
Sports betting is a good place i think that you can gain more profit than the other gambling games because you can decide in your own and watch the previous games of the team before you can choose if what is the strongest team  before you bet.. except if you are just betting only for your favorite players that part i think its for fun and not targeting to make profit you just want to get more thrill while you are betting in their game..
399  Other / Meta / Re: New message indicator shows , but there is no new message on: June 29, 2017, 10:47:54 PM
Reason was that a certain number of members here have been sent a spam PM advertising an altcoin project, which later got deleted manually by theymos.

That's why you couldn't do anything from your end, but the problem seems to have been solved according to you. Smiley
Ahh... that is why i had the same thing yesterday i read all my message but MY messages(1) still still exist even i refresh and re-login
But today i just noticed that its cleared now and i receive a reply by hilariousandco in my own thread.
400  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help recovering wallet on: June 29, 2017, 10:28:29 PM
I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge with Electrum. Late 2015 I created a wallet and deposited some BTC. I have a piece of paper
with the seed phrase but no 'password' as it asks me for now but I do have a PIN code. I have tried all other passwords I can think of/have
written down but none seem to work. Tried restoring from seed and that doesn't work either(/unsure if doing this part correctly). I'm sure
at some point I uninstalled Electrum and re-installed recently, does it have something to do with an older version? Thanks
Is it a wallet with 2 factor authentication?
Maybe the pin is for 2fa that is why its asking.. if you added a email for 2fa you can receive your 2fa in your email..
if still not working it is different issue never had that issue before..
But I think you can use your electrum seed in blockchain to recover bitcoin.
