Well, there is a reason for this ban, the law enforcement agencies disrespected the admin by not notifying him first, they should'v asked him to announce the shut down since he is admin people would believe the news to be legit right away. So in response to such disrespect, now their honeypots have to leave this forum, and the LE will have no place to keep an eye on all mixers in one place.

Well, as Bitcoiners, we don't submit to such transgressions against our core leaders. Now this ban is a slap to the faces of rude LE agencies. This should be a good warning, we can make their jobs a nightmare for them, now let them go to several places to monitor mixers. Unless they come here and apologize for interrupting our lawful activities unannounced.     

Don Hillary, for the love of God mark the report good, I don't know why these things are so important? I have visited my report page maybe 10 times in total. I don't know why we are used to fixate on small things while every second of our time could be used for something better.

I see signs of danger, like few months back  symm started the same way, lets hope it's not karma, I have experienced it few times recently.

So now what will happen to all those scammers and cheaters now that they can roam the forum freely and continue their business as usual? I guess there is no hope because we all are gonna get scammed now, right? 😂

That's a different story, you can ask people to report criminal activities and give them money, there is even a big percentage of the embezzled  money that goes to the whistle blowers. This case is different the money does not belong to the government, it belongs to people, besides we are not attracting criminals here, in fact no criminal logs in this forum, they just watch from distance, not to mention all of these operations of all on forum mixers, are just a distraction, the big fishes are operating elsewhere.

But do we know which one of the existing mixers are honeypots? I'm willing to bet half of them are honeypots and the rest are a front, a facade to keep the LE busy.

theymos is conservative, but honestly he got spooked after reading the warning from LE, he interpreted that message as if it was directed at him since it was posted without his prior knowledge.
Now US gov is not going to shut down a forum for no reason, as long as no sanctioned mixer operates here, they won't touch this forum. Because guess what? They already have all the data, besides why would they close down a forum where it's admin is compliant with the laws of US? It's not like they asked him to stop advertising mixers or else we shut you down. If they had asked that, I'm pretty sure, he'd say it. He just rushed into it since it was kind of like a raid what fiod did. Which I have already responded accordingly. They promised to be good boys from now on.😉

In other words, you are suggesting that he should secretly cooperate  with criminals, like nothing has happened? Are you actually suggesting how to return stolen funds back to the thieves? I'm sure those criminals if have any honor, they would send clean coins to participants, and forget they ever had that amount in escrow address, but I guess there is no honor among criminals.

Because you don't officially mess with an international law enforcement agency by deleting or touching their posts. That could mean, "hey cops, did you just double post on our forum? Take this" (post deleted).  And when they mark it bad, is to let you know, "don't mess with the cops".

Something you all should think about before taking any actions. if I remember correctly, there was this certain user who used to get mad when mods flagged his reports as bad, I think he changed his name and fell out of grace recently. 😉

Here is the idea if someone wants to dictate their own rules on this forum, what if someone advertises mixers on porn sites which are available on this forum?  Since mixers are not illegal, what if mixers try to put their ads on everything crypto related? Then we can never link to any source. this is a self crippling tactic @theymos. Even though we all agree it could be good for community to do this, but I guess you rushed it, didn't think this through.

Dude stop making excuses, mixers are used to circumvent sanctions, the criminal use is less than %20 of total mixing circulation. This is not about privacy, this is a hidden third world war and we are in the middle, these things are useless to discuss, we need our own digital nuke to survive this war. Let them go. Insisting will cause more suspicion. Just a revise of the rules would suffice.
