381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What? You sodl? Too bad. on: September 16, 2017, 02:34:53 AM
dont be too optimistic.

this can be just a small rush. i indeed want to share your optimistic and hope it will push again to the moon.

BTC Quotes
3,378.960  USD  in China plattform which is apro 2829 euro and its a good way right now

What do you mean by "don't be too optimistic."? I just hope, that's sort of grammatical error. But if you mean that (which means don't be happy of it), then why not? Bitcoin dropped down to its lowest price at $2,980 in past few hours, but it's rising up again. Now, it's at $3,800. So why should we not be optimistic? I think, the losers here are those panic sellers who sold their bitcoins at its lowest price yesterday. And I am happy that I held onto my bitcoins.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy now or sell? on: September 15, 2017, 12:37:23 PM
What's actually happening with bitcoin? Market is collapsing hugely. Is this the better time to buy or sell? And will it goes under 2000 or 1000? If so should we buy then? Suggestions would be helpful
I think it's best to watch out the trend of the btc price. Wait until tomorrow. Wait until the price shifts from down to up (I mean, the turning point of dropping and immediate rise). That's the best time to buy bitcoin. By that time, btc price will probably rise. So, don't buy nor sell yet. The btc price might drop down to $2500-$3000.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Tsunami on: September 15, 2017, 10:29:35 AM
The events of the past few days have greatly affected the exchange value of bitcoin. Do you believe this is the demise of bitcoin or like phoenix it will rise from the ashes.
There's no such thing as DEATH in bitcoin. I mean, how many times did it go through this kind of situation? If you're being observant, you won't have anything to worry about the crazy drop of bitcoin price these past few hours. I believe that bitcoin will rise up like a phoenix in next few days or weeks. Don't panic. Stay calm. Hold on your bitcoins.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling the bottom here. Currently at $3344 on: September 15, 2017, 08:17:07 AM
on bitcoinity. On coinmarketcap it is $3372. It is jumping around pretty quickly.

I call the bottom at $1900 in 5 days before it stabilizes for a least a little bit.

This is still way up for the year. It started out the year under $1000.
Nothing to worry about it, tho (as we can see from the past how bitcoin gone through these kinds of situations). It is even a great news since we can buy and collect bitcoin. I can see this drop to be stable at $3000 for a week or two. After that, expect it to rise up again like a rocket.

This is a very basic concept in economics (specifically the law of supply and demand), my friends. Big whales are joining the bitcoin market, thus making the btc price to drop for a while. The price of any product/service tend to fall when there's a high supply (e.g. more btc owner are selling their bitcoins because of their fear and other reasons) and low demand. Once a lot of people buy these bitcoins for sale, then expect the bitcoin price to get stable (since the supply and demand will become equal). Then when the supply of bitcoins for sale reach its lowest, that's the time that the price of bitcoin will rise up.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today, Bitcoin dump ? on: September 14, 2017, 11:05:17 PM
Can anyone tell me what is happening to Bitcoin? BTC price from 4660 dropped 4k1 and still continues to decrease, investors and trade as I'm feeling very confused. Give me some advice right now, so I can calm down.
Considering its value (which is around $2500 - $3000) before August 1, that $500 price drop doesn't really hurt. The drop on btc value today is highly due to the correction on part of the traders. This means that traders are now selling their bitcoins which results to what we call MASS SELLING or closely related to PANIC SELLING.

In the law of supply and demand, if the supply of a product/service is high and the demand is low, the tendency is that the price of that product/service will fall. The reason why we are experiencing a drop in bitcoin price today is explained by that. Probably, there are no high demand of bitcoin (I mean, there's no enough buyers out there) as of now, so bitcoin price drops.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable, trading in Crypto coins or trading in stock market?? on: September 14, 2017, 04:02:29 AM
Which is more profitable, trading in Bitcoin/Altcoins or trading in stock market?? I have some bitter experience trading in stock market, and I am some what new to this Crypto trading, so please share your thoughts.  Huh
When comparing the same amount of money invested in crypto and in stock market, I think stock market is still profitable (for now). Crypto-trading is not yet as popular as the stock market, which gives stock market the edge on this topic. I also think that big traders will probably prefer to invest on stocks that crypto. And the stock market is far bigger than that with crpyto.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cheap Bitcoins! on: September 14, 2017, 02:58:04 AM
Finally price is going down. Time to stock up Grin
Are you guys as happy as I am?
Yes, I am happy when bitcoin price goes down. It will be the best time to buy bitcoins or pay your debts on other altcoins. However, it will be better if bitcoin price goes up especially for those who are working on trades. This will be a great time to sell their coins and earn a lot. Anyway, bitcoin price is still expected to rise up, so if I were you, I'm going to buy btc now.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 14, 2017, 02:01:59 AM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins
Yes. I think, you can earn from bitcoins without job, unless you have enough money to start with. You need to invest your money (enough or more money in order to earn regularly from bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Trading is the best thing to do in crpto-world. Due to the volatility of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, traders were able to earn from it. This is just like a game of the brains. You need to be well-educated about bitcoins and wise enough to earn.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 13, 2017, 11:33:09 AM
Hey guys, new member here Smiley

I've been watching Bitcoin's development since early August this year, and I finally gave in and bought 1 BTC for $4600. I didn't wait because I figured the value could easily break the $5000 barrier at any time, and if the price would suddenly normalize above that level, 1 BTC would be outside my budget.

I probably went OCD on the matter and should've waited instead of having to have 1 full BTC, especially since the ICO-related news from China were still pretty recent.

Anyway: the 2nd wave of news regarding shutdown of local exchanges hit hours after I made the purchace, and the value plummeted (it's now hovering just above $4000, that's a 13% decrease). Lesson learned I guess. I've been lurking on the forums for a couple of months trying to pick up some sound advice from you guys, and from what I've gathered I should stick with holding for 5-10 years instead of panicking. But honestly, it's tough to ride the lows.

Any words of encouragement? Grin I guess I'm not the only one who've had a nervous start in the world of cryptocurrencies. Anyone else feeling like they "need" to acquire 1 BTC before the train leaves the station for good?
As a first-timer in the world of cryptos, you should have asked for suggestion first before buying bitcoin, especially that the bitcoin price is too high these days. I think, you've just made the WRONG MOVE for this year since you bought a bitcoin at the time when it is on its peak price. Well, you have only two options for now: its either you'll trade your 1btc to other coins, or save it and wait for btc price to rise up. But be sure to watch the price of other coins so that you'll be able to gain profit.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 13, 2017, 09:54:38 AM
What do you think? China banned BTC? And btc price goes to 4,069$ today Smiley
You think to sell or it can rise up again, some rumors said that btc will fall down to 2000$
I believe that bitcoin will rise up no matter what. Bitcoin have done through these kinds of situations, and still, it was able to maintain its high value. The most possible thing to happen is btc value will rise up.

However, if bitcoin value will fall down, there's nothing to worry, because it will rise up soon. Once the bitcoin price falls, it is a good time to buy btc. After some weeks, expect it to rise up again.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: September 12, 2017, 11:50:35 AM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
My very first experience about bitcoin was a little bit traumatic for me. I won't ever forget about this, and until now, I have still this feeling. This is how it goes:

When I created my first bitcoin wallet (supposedly for saving purpose), I met a girl in facebook and offered me something. She tell me about this guy (I think, the guy is from Middle East) who gives free $10 worth of bitcoins (and the price of bitcoin that time is around $250) for every 30 facebook friends that I'll invite to his page. That's around 0.04 BTC per 30 friends. That time, I have around 150 facebook friends, so I was able to earn 0.2 BTC received in my btc wallet. Then one day, I was shocked when I was not able to open my btc wallet. I tried to recover it through email, but then my email was also compromised. Then someone messaged me in facebook and say that he'll report my account. That person even used my account to fool others.

That was my darkest day in bitcoin. And I hope that person got his karma now.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: September 12, 2017, 06:35:47 AM
for long term purpose, which is better to invest in , Bitcoin or Ethereum ? Lets discuss that ..
For long term purpose, I think it will be better to invest in ethereum. Compared to bitcoin, ethereum is far cheaper (not to mention that ethereum is the second most expensive crptocurrency, next to bitcoin). And speaking of long term investment, it will be better to invest your money on ethereum (which value is rising) for you can buy more ethereums using your money compared to buying it with bitcoin (bitcoin value is about $4,300 today while ethereum has a value of around $300 today).
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin get back to it's first time value? on: September 12, 2017, 01:43:12 AM
I do not think it's possible that Bitcoin's value goes back to its first value, even though the Chinese government is currently heavily blocking in their country. while China is blocking, maybe bitcoin is developing in other countries.
I think that it’s possible for Bitcoin to get back to its original value since the people that are holding Bitcoin are trying to make money from it. If Bitcoin gets up to a high price I think that there will be a major dump that will cause the value of Bitcoin to fall down to more than 90% of its value overnight. The price may recover from that, that’s when more money will be put into Bitcoin because of the strength of the market.
Going back into the market should be pretty nice when there is a lot of opportunities to make money.

That's possible, but not probable. I mean, yes, bitcoin might drop to it's lowest in last 3 years, but the chance is not that high. Bitcoin had already a strong foundation when it comes to its marketability. A lot of people are using bitcoins around the world, and its circulating almost every second. It's not really probable that bitcoin will go back to its initial value ($0.08, really?). That's too far from reality.

Let's make it clear: you won't earn enough (or much) money from bitcoin without investing a good amount of money. You can't do trading and win from it if your invested a small amount of money. Big traders usually invest 5-6 digit amount of money ($xxx, xxx) to maintain the status of their trading activities.

On the other hand, we can earn satoshis (but not that large amount) even if you have no job. But it is still ideal to have a permanent job.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: September 11, 2017, 07:23:35 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I think, YES, it will survive. Although most, if not all, of us won't live that long, I believe that bitcoin will become an accepted currency of the modern age. I also think that in the near future, banks will create a physical bitcoin (real coin) which can be used the way dollars and other currencies are being used today.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 11, 2017, 01:26:37 AM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

That would be a great idea. I would also like that to happen in the near future. Most people have already familiarized themselves about bitcoin, and it is very possible that sooner or later, companies will pay their employees through bitcoin. But I think, there will still a lot of things to be made clear about this idea, esp. that the value of bitcoin is so volatile that one day, its price might go up or down in a blink of an eye, and will affect the amount of money to be receive by the employees.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 10, 2017, 06:31:45 AM

Is this the beginning of the death of Bitcoin? Well, the topic is now resurrecting again now that Bitcoin just experienced one of the biggest bloodbaths ever in its trading history. And this the trend right now for the whole cryptocurrency market...we are seeing waves of red all over.

No wonder the FUD community is now having a fiesta...they think that this can be the start of the end of the world...I mean the end of Bitcoin and that it can crashed soon towards the $100 price.

Are they kidding me?
There's no enough reasons to tell that bitcoin will die soon. Bitcoin have been through all these kinds of situations in the past, but in the end, it is still alive. The biggest threat on bitcoin, in my opinion, was the hard forking that happened last August 1. Many bitcoin users, including miners and traders, were afraid of the worst thing that might happen to bitcoin that time - that it will drop to 50% of its value that time. But what did really happen? Bitcoin cash was created from bitcoin, and the value of bitcoin increased to 100% (doubling its value).

I think, those who are saying that bitcoin will be gone soon are those people who are planning to create another crypto to compete with bitcoin, which I think is very far from reality to happen.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: September 10, 2017, 02:46:47 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
I'll take one question at a time. Let's start with the question "Can bitcoin price decrease?". The answer for that is YES, bitcoin might fall at any time. There's always a risk on investment, and bitcoin is no different at all. Since bitcoin is known for its volatility, we can't ignore the fact that at any time, your money might suffer a lot. Don't worry, anyway, because bitcoin has gone through a lot of situations like this, but in the end, it was still able to recover.

Now, let's take the question "Is this the right time to buy bitcoin?". That depends on your plan. If you plan to invest your money on bitcoin for just a short time, then I think it is not the best time to do that. Short-term investments usually don't succeed due to the fact that the movement of transactions in the market is not done in just a month or two. But if you're investing for a long-term, then I think it is still a good time to buy bitcoin. Who knows, bitcoin might double next year. Tracing the track of its value's growth, we can see that bitcoin has indeed grew to become one of the BIG THING in this new era.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the Bitcoin's Market Cap determined? on: September 09, 2017, 10:16:12 PM
Hi Folks,

I was just wondering what does the market capitalization of Bitcoin means when it is $70 Billion?

The current Market Cap is : $69,553,940,835

What does this number mean? and how is it being determined?

Thnaks
 Smiley
That will change in the coming years. The market cap tells us the total value of all the bitcoins circulation in the market today. Expect that numbers to increase in next few years as miners are expected to mine the remaining ~5M bitcoins unmined. Also, add to that the fact that bitcoin price today is high, and still getting higher as expected in the future.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: September 09, 2017, 12:42:08 PM
Weeks ago, I am discussing Bitcoin to my sister and my future brother-in-law (then) When they got married recently, both of them were unemployed and have been trying to get a job immediately after their marriage. Up until now they have no luck. My sister then decided to talk to me about how do I earn Bitcoins. I gladly explained it to her and then she decided to do it too. She was so happy that she is already earning bitcoin and had some extra budget while they are both unemployed. And now, she is so eager to learn more how to earn more coins.

Being unemployed drove her into engaging to Bitcoins. Maybe some people are like this. They grab Bitcoin when they are in need of money. And since that these people are now engaged in Bitcoin, I am sure that they will stay in Bitcoin and treat it as an investment even though they will have a decent paying jobs in the future.
Well, this is a great thing to happen if unemployed people could manage to find some income from bitcoin. In this era, there is indeed a significantly high percentage of unemployment in different countries. This results to flactuation of country's economy. This will even result to increase in the criminality in different places.

With the opportunities provided by bitcoin, many people will find a way to earn even if they're unemployed. But my recommendation is that, don't dwell too much on bitcoin job. Try to look for a permanent good paying jobs and make bitcoin as a secondary source of income.
