341  Economy / Speculation / Re: when will bitcoin prove its true prosperity and take on full beast mode? on: September 27, 2017, 01:47:16 AM
millennial's are the biggest investors and supporters obviously, but bitcoin has to reach a level of financial prosperity to somewhat the fullest eventually...will it make our kids rich? Grandkids? Great Grand Kids? Aliens or Martians to that far extent?

That depends. If you invest huge amount of money on bitcoin, then that could be the case. But millennials are not yet that self supported enough to come up with huge investments. But I believe that bitcoins will soon reach its level of prosperity and will help this generation to earn other than their permanent jobs. Bitcoin is indeed a great invention of the century.

343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the factors that affect the rise and fall of the BTC? on: September 26, 2017, 08:21:19 AM
Hello!

How BTC's price change? What are the factors that affect the rise and fall of the BTC?
There are lot of factors that affect the rise and fall of the BTC. But the most obvious is the supply and demand of bitcoin in the market. When there is a high demand in bitcoin but low supply, the chance is that its value will rise up. On the other hand, when supply is high (the case which we call panic selling) and low demand, then the possibility is that price of bitcoin will go down.
344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: September 26, 2017, 05:03:00 AM
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

Bitcoin is being banned in other countries because the government don't want the way it is being used by the people. I mean, government won't get taxes from bitcoins (which is the upside of using bitcoin on the part of the users). Another is that banks will not earn since people would prefer putting their money to bitcoin (meaning, no deposit to banks, no interest taken by banks).
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best altcoin to collect? on: September 26, 2017, 01:23:44 AM
i read this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0
pizza for 10,000 BTC
and it came in to my mind what if i collect some altcoin right now..
because maybe someday price can be better than now..
im panning to keep it for the next 5 years or more and lets see what will happen..
what do you think what altcoin is the best to collect?

Start collecting Ethereum and Litecoins now. These two coins are the top 2 and 3, respectively, when it comes to its value (next to bitcoin). Litecoin, as of now, has found its value dipping, but it won't take for so long, I believe. On the other hand, ethereum's value is non-stop on rising. And I think, ethereum is the coin, other than bitcoin, that has already a strong foundation, and could still make its value go BOOM!
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can states buy all bitcoin? on: September 26, 2017, 12:20:50 AM
what would happen if most of the bitcoin were owned by a single organization? for states that print their own fiat money, financing to buy "all" bitcoin would be possible.

the state would presumably risk hyperinflation due to the enormous increase of money and bring the bitcoin rate to astronomical values.

but then, when the state is in possession of "all" bitcoin, it can make the circulation of bitcoin quasi succumb. bitcoin dead, population impoverished, mission accomplished.
If ever an organization/state buy all bitcoin, there will be what we call "MONOPOLY" where only one person/group who runs a product. In case bitcoin monopoly happens, there will be (I think) a huge drop in the value of bitcoin. It does not make sense for an organization to buy ALL or MOST bitcoins and keep it. Once a cryptocurrency stops rotating in the market, its value will flactuate.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is long term investment on: September 25, 2017, 07:05:45 AM
Ethereum is better for long term invest?
Please share your valuable opinion.
Actually, all crypto-coins are long-term investment. You won't earn that much if you're going to put your money for a while, a week, a month, or a year. You need to stay with it. There's no fast money. You have to be patient enough to see the results of your hardship. That's just like in planting a tree. You have to wait for some years for it to bear fruits.

Well, ethereum, in my opinion, is a great crypto to invest at for a long term. Among the crpyptocurrencies, ethereum is the 2nd most popular (next only to bitcoin) and the only one which seems to not drop its price so much (it was at 0.073 BTC per ethereum last week, but now, it is at 0.076 BTC per ethereum). So, I can say that it is great for long term investment.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WARNING] ats tokens scam on: September 25, 2017, 01:21:08 AM
Ats token is trading at 0.00003 eth on etherdelta
That seems too low for me. 1 ATS should be 0.0005 ETH, but EtherDelta, I think, is taking advantage of the case where there is no available exchanges yet for ATS except EtherDelta. I also checked the site, and the trading for ATS are pretty low compared to its supposed price. I think, it's ideal to wait for the announcement from Authorship team.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake news :Bitcoin is not banned in china on: September 24, 2017, 11:55:31 PM
Don't panic and don't sell your crypto  Angry, it is only fake news , they can't bane banne bitcoin  Cool
I have told you that some Chinese exchanges might be banned according to our own sources. Do not forget China cannot ban Bitcoin and is not banning bitcoin. The market is going down a bit now but in my view it will recover. Do not panic. Tongue Roll Eyes
Just to make it clear. China CAN ban bitcoin if they want to. The case now is that, they are not YET banning bitcoin and I think that they WON'T ban it because many Chinese investors have put their money on it. If China bans bitcoin, these Chinese investors will surely get raged and will surely affect the country's economy. So stay calm. I am not even alarmed with that news anymore.

351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin november hard fork? on: September 24, 2017, 05:23:40 AM
Will bitcoin hard fork in November result in a third coin forked out from "Bitcoin"?
Definitely, that will result to a third coin forked from bitcoin. But then, I think, that will not significantly affect the value of bitcoin like what happened to BCC being forked from bitcoin (although bitcoin price dropped enormously in mid-July, 2017 even before the August 1 forking happened). It might drop for a while before November, but expect it to rise up later on after the forking is done.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin of 2017! on: September 24, 2017, 01:44:42 AM
This discussion was created to compile the general consensus on which crypto are the most undervalued (Have massive potential to grow).
Please list your coin(s) below and why do you think so?
I'll just give 1 coin which I think is the most undervalued altcoin, and it is BURSTCOIN. Burstcoin, I think, has the potential to be a good altcoin to grow, and I was just disappointed when people forgot about this coin. There was a time when it reached the value of 1,000 satoshis per coin, and now, it fell to just around 200 satoshis per coin (and stationary as of now). For me, it is even better than dogecoin (which value is not rising as of now).
353  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: September 24, 2017, 12:28:52 AM
Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.

Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?
p.s. we don't talk about bitcoin debit card OR any centralized service which only ask name and email address.
I agree with you. BITCOIN BANK is not a good idea for me. In the first place, what really banks are for? Anyone who is planning to build or create a bitcoin bank aims to earn from interests. Banks are designed to ear profit from the interests of those deposited to them. Why do bitcoin banking if you can manage your own money through exchanges and trading? Well, bitcoin bank is out of the line for me.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Big Threat According To China on: September 23, 2017, 11:09:04 AM
Bitcoin is meant to disrupt the many traditional institutions works as it can be carrying innovations leading to changes in the way we usually do things. This can be the big factor why central banks and many government authorities are all wary of how to treat Bitcoin. In the case of China, they the easiest way out which is the banning of Bitcoin exchanges and ICOs to curtail participation from their "protected" citizens. Soon they may come up with regulation making ownership of Bitcoin illegal...that is if they are not just buying time before allowing Bitcoin operation under a very strict atmosphere.

China's central bank admits Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be carrying threats to central banks and existing banking systems. And this is actually just stating the obvious as the Chinese government is afraid of anything they can not control. This is a society where controls in almost all facets of their lives remain to be strong...though we are hoping that next generation of Chinese leaders would be gradually changing this kind of situation.

Nevertheless, this may not be the right time for China to have a good love affair with Bitcoin but I know that sometime China will be back loving Bitcoin too.

I haven't read every word from that excerpt (since I know that their point is BITCOIN IS A FRAUD). But all I can say is that, bitcoin is not really a threat to people who use it. The reason why China hates bitcoin is that the bank and government doesn't really earn from it (no taxes). Now, they are saying that bitcoin is a fraud so that people will go back to the typical banking and with that, the banks and government will get their fair share from people.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: September 23, 2017, 02:49:59 AM
Like the title, what coins do you think will have a good future because now it's a lot of coins and not a few of those coins that fail
What do you think ?
What coin do you think will have good future ?
When it comes to altcoins, the coins which I think will become successful in the coming years are ethereum and litecoin. These two coins were able to maintain their high value (well, litecoin is falling as of now, but nothing to worry). Ethereum has maintained its status when it come to rankings of best cryptos (ethereum remains the top 2 - just behind bitcoin). On the other hands, I dont see these two coins beating bitcoin as the world's best cryptocurrency of all time.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does China hate Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2017, 01:29:03 AM
This is pretty much the whole story right here...

Quote
" NIFA official Li Lihui told a technology conference in Shanghai on Friday that a goal of China’s monetary regulation is to ensure that “the source and destination of every piece of money can be tracked.” "

Bitcoin is the mortal enemy of 'tracking'.  Therefore China is going to continue to assault Bitcoin from every angle.  You can be sure of that.
Because bitcoin is tax-free (except mining fee). The government can not get taxes from bitcoin users. I think that is the reason why they hate btc. Another thing is that China is known as one of the biggest player in economy and business in the world. Maybe, they are planning to create their own cryptocurrency/token and want to compete bitcoin.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Charlie Lee: China Bitcoin Mining Ban Rumors are False on: September 23, 2017, 12:32:06 AM
I remember people saying "the news is false" about the ban on ICOs. Then i remember people crying "fake news!" About the reports that China banning bitcoin exchanges. Both of those rumors turned out to be true.

I think i'll take this one as true.

"YOU'RE FAKE NEWS!", BA!
What are you referring to as FAKE NEWS? Is it the China banning ICOs and bitcoin exchanges OR Charlie Lee saying that these rumors are FALSE? Lol. Whatever it is, I believe that Charlie Lee is more reliable than those RUMOR MAKERS who keep on telling that China gonna ban ICOs and bitcoin. I believe, Charlie Lee knows better than most rumor makers. Those people are trying to condition the minds of people that bitcoin will be a failure in the future, but majority of bitcoin users have their trust on bitcoin.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: September 22, 2017, 07:36:07 AM
The best time to buy bitcoins is when it price decrease.Whenever bad news came it fall down.Recently china banned ICO which case drop the bitcoins
we have to buy it low and sell them high.

When bitcoin/altcoin price decreases, it doesn't always means it is the right time to buy. There are a lot of things to consider when to buy. First is the percentage of the price it loss. Usually, a cryptocurrency's value could drop by 10% in just a few hours. Sometimes, it doesn't really drop that much (actually, most altcoins' value change with an index of 3% to 5%). Another thing to consider is to watcg out for the chart of the change in a cryptocurrency's price. For example, bitcoin dropped it's lowest in this month last week at $2,980. No one knew that at this point, the bitcoin will rise up again. Now, it is back at $3,600. You should be watchful on the turning point of its price. That is usually the indication of the right time to buy a cryptocurrency.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to btc after the last coin has been mine on: September 22, 2017, 05:59:28 AM
since bitcoin is a POW coin, what will be awarded to miners after the circulating supply reaches the maximum supply which is 21 million ,that is when the last coin has been mine
After the 21 milionth bitcoin is mined, the miners are done with bitcoin mining contract. So what's next? Miners would probably (and really) be paid with transaction fees from the bitcoin transactions people are making. Another is that, they might find new contract with other companies planning to create new altcoins or tokens.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Authorship (ATS) token is a scam on: September 22, 2017, 03:18:34 AM
So I followed the ATS token for a few weeks. I gained quite a few tokens by promoting them on social media and registering with them.
When it came out to distribute the tokens, they came up with some lame excuses and didn't distribute any.
If this is how they plan to do business, I would stay away. Just words of advice.
I can say that it is not scam. In the first place, they distributed FREE TOKENS as promised. For those who didn't received their FREE tokens and saying that it is scam, think how they feel first. They're aware of fraudulent people who abusing their promotion. Many people have made fake accounts and signed up under their referral link, which lead them to block those accounts. Another thing, they've sent a new email saying that they will continue distributing FREE TOKENS to those who haven't received yet theirs. So be patient and considerate on their part.
