401  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: can someone tell me the benefits of campaign on: September 09, 2017, 11:38:52 AM
hello everyone out there i only have a vague idea about bitcoins so please let me know more on how to enter campaigns and earn bitcoins
First, I would recommend you to familiarize first yourself about the basics of bitcoin. With that, you can relate to the topics being discussed in this forum. Second, your account need to be at least junior member to get a better chance of being accepted in signature campaigns (although there are some who accepts newbie, but the payment is not that high). You need to be active in this forum and try joining in discussions to different topics so that your account will be promoted to higher rank.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 09, 2017, 10:41:42 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley
I don't think so. In my own opinion, altcoins are independent to one another. If one dies, I don't think the others will follow. Remember, altcoins have currency values (not only crpyto). Let's take this situation: litecoin has a value today of around the value of 0.016 BTC. Since litecoin is an independent crypto, you can still use litecoin even if bitcoin will be gone. You can still convert it to ethereum, dogecoin, etc. but not to bitcoin anymore since bitcoin is gone. This means that you can still use litecoins and cash it out into USD.
403  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin or other coins on: September 09, 2017, 08:47:07 AM
what make bitcoin better and incomparable to the other cryptocoins  ?
There's a lot of things which makes bitcoin the most dominant crptocurrency. First, and the most obvious, is its undeniably high value (and continuous rise of its value). I don't think that anyone won't like to invest their money on bitcoin with its volatile value.
Second, bitcoin is more preferable its popularity. There's no doubt that bitcoin is the most popular crpytocurrency ever invented. When people hear the word "CRYPTOCURRENCY", the first thing that will come into their minds is "BITCOIN". Bitcoin is also the main reason why there's a lot of new altcoins appearing today where most of them want to overtake bitcoin in the top list of cryptocurrencies in all criteria (which I think is improbable to happen). Also, bitcoin is dubbed as the Father of All Cryptocurrencies.
Lastly, the usability of bitcoins. As time passes by, the number of establishments, agencies, and countries that accepts bitcoin is increasing. This is because bitcoin is easier to use and understand compared to other altcoins. As long as you have a btc wallet and you know the features of your wallet, then there's no hustle in doing your transactions.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 09, 2017, 04:52:25 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
First of all, schools won't allow bitcoin to be part of the curriculum because it is not really necessarily be taught to the students. I, as a teacher, won't even support that idea. We can learn bitcoin by our own. My point here is that there's a lot of topics out there to be prioritize than bitcoin.
Second, how do playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites related to teaching bitcoins in college? You know, my point is, it seems that the line "...instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites" is off topic. I think, there's no country that urge its people to do that, tho. Smiley
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: September 08, 2017, 10:35:21 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
Well, I think, there is a small chance that real money will gone in the near future. Physical money has been already a part of the economy in the past years, and people are accustomed with this. I don't see that real money (coins and bills) will gone soon. What I can see is that all countries will accept the use of bitcoins in our daily transactions, but real money will still remain.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have some BTCs, why not have some Gold too? on: September 08, 2017, 08:41:27 AM
There are some reasons why NOT to gold. First is its availability. You know, it's not as easy to get gold as you think. Gold nowadays are considered RARE. Second is its accesibility. You can't just pick a gold anywhere, unlike bitcoin which can be access through the use of computers and smartphones. Most people even consider bitcoin as the gold of the modern age.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost All Cryptocurrency have fallen on: September 08, 2017, 07:01:02 AM
I saw today that the price dropped to almost all the cryptocurrency available on the market. does anyone know something about this topic? what to expect next days ?
Altcoins bave been through this kind of situations - there's a point where altcoin price drop drastically, and then go up the other day. One reason about it is explained by the law of supply and demand. When people don't sell their altcoin, the price of that certain altcoin will probably stable. Once that a number of holders sell their coins  but only few buyers buy (meaning, there's a huge amount of supply), the tendency is the price of that altcoin will go down. But if most people hold on their altcoins and a lot of people are looking to buy (meaning, there's a high demand), then the price would probably go up. Remember that this is just one case of why altcoin price is changing. There's a lot of possible reasons for that, but this is the basic in the world of economics.
408  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign on: September 07, 2017, 05:03:24 AM
Hello I've heard a lot about signature campaign. we can earn with it isn't ?. So can you guys tell me what's the first step to start it ? and what's

the second ? can you guys guide step by step ?
Well, you need to be familiarized with bitcointalk and all the rules and guidelines before joining any signature campaign. If you're done with that, the next thing to do is to look for the signature campaign/s which accept account of your current rank (for your case, NEWBIE). Third, read the rules of that campaign before you join. If you think that the payment is worth your time and effort doing posts, then you can apply by following its application method. After that, you an start earning by posting SENSIBLE posts.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: September 07, 2017, 12:37:49 AM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?
I think, there would be a world war III if bitcoin is going to be banned (well, this is a bit exxagerated statement Smiley ). But, yeah, I think, many people who are using bitcoin will make a rally against those who will ban bitcoin. There's no enough reason for any departments or big agencies to ban bitcoin. And I also believe that bitcoin will never be banned in general.
410  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: September 06, 2017, 09:25:13 AM
Bitcoin is a good investment even before it reached its value today. Speaking of NOW, it is a great investment because we can see that bitcoin value has been rising for the past years. Imagine: if we already invested a long time ago when bitcoin's price is still low, we should be millionaires now! Putting that into perspective, there is a high chance that if we invest today in bitcoin, the same trend will happen (the value of a bitcoin is projected to reach $10,000 in the next few years).
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin bulletproof? on: September 06, 2017, 05:57:27 AM
Bitcoin survives so many challenges yet the value still growing eventually.

Started thinking bitcoin is bulletproof after witnessing so many challenges that may easily kill it yet still thrives.

No doubt, bitcoin is the invention of the century. I think bitcoin will shine more in the future because no country that can stop now.

What is your thought on this? Share with us what you think, please?
Bitcoin has been successful so far since it was introduced to the public.  Putting that into perspective, I can say that BITCOIN is bulletproof. I don't even think that in any day, a crpto/altcoin will beat the bitcoin. Bitcoin have shown to everyone that it stood in any challenges that it underwent, and people will always stay to it. For me, BITCOIN is the best in terms of value, usability, and availability.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 12:17:47 AM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
My biggest regret about bitcoin is the moment when I had a second mind about its potential, and not believing on it 100% when it is still available for a very low price. Now, its value has rose up to $4,500 each, and if I was able to buy bitcoins at the price of $80 each, then I would have been a millionaire now (speaking of Philippine peso). Well, as the saying goes, regret is always in the end.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: September 05, 2017, 11:54:07 AM
Of course, yes! Bitcoin is for everyone. There's a lot of user-friendly sites out there about bitcoins where people, even the ordinary citizens, can learn the 5Ws and 1H of bitcoin. Even I, myself, have learned the basics of bitcoin from online articles. Since then, I found my passion on cryptocurrencies and will always love to learn more. Everyone can use bitcoin in their daily lives, esp. in transactions to maximize their time and effort.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people left their full-time employment to go into Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2017, 06:34:17 AM
I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?
First of all, if ever someone try to convince me to do that, my answer will be NO. I won't leave my full-time job. For others, I think they won't do, either. Unless they are big-time employees (people who own big business), then I think it's not a choice to leave it. Instead, it will be better if they'll try to put up another business related to bitcoin (btc mining, loans, etc.)and make that as their backup source of income.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: September 05, 2017, 03:59:50 AM
There's a lot of ways to earn bitcoin without investing even a single cent. First, you can find online jobs that pays you with bitcoin. These online jobs include data entry, freelancing, captcha solving, and more. Another great way to earn is by joining a campaign in forum. You should have an account to earn with this one. After that, you should find for a profitable campaign.
416  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: September 04, 2017, 11:26:44 AM
Of course, yes. Why not? We are now living in an era where everything is high tech - from the gadgets we use up to the means of transportation. With that, it is not a bad idea to give BTC as a gift in  a wedding. Instead of giving material gifts which are not necessary, why not give the newly-weds BTC so they can also freely buy the things they actually need? Bitcoin is a great wedding gift.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The next Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2017, 07:59:46 AM
Dear Bitcointalk community,
we all love Bitcoin because it has some great features, but what will happen when another cryptocurrency will be used as much as Bitcoin? Mainly because it has all the things Bitcoin offers but better?
I wrote an article about this idea on Steemit and I would like to hear the opinion of some Bitcoinveterans.
Please tell me what you think and don't hold back your criticism.

https://steemit.com/crypto/@lumining/the-next-bitcoin
I don't think there will be such thing as "NEXT BITCOIN". There's no doubt bitcoin is "the father of all cryptocurrencies". Miners won't let that happen mainly because all other altcoins depend on th  value of bitcoin. If the question is "What is the next big thing on cryptocurrency?", then my answer would be ETHEREUM and LITECOIN (but I son't see these two altcoins beating the BITCOIN.

419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we risk mining bitcoins ? on: September 04, 2017, 05:28:20 AM
i will love to hear opinions from everyone, do you think its worth it? should we risk mining the cryptocurrency ?
Well, as of now, around 16M bitcoins have already been mined. Meaning, there are only around 5M bitcoins left to be mined. If you're planning to build a crypto mining rig, I preferred to mine altcoins, preferably litecoins and ethereum, because those two have high value (next to bitcoins, I think), and will be good for a longer time.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of Bitcoin you earned? on: September 03, 2017, 08:53:09 AM
Since I'm still a Newbie, I just want to know what is the highest amount of Btc you earned? (especially for high rankers). And what are your techniques to become successful?

I'm curious of how much can Bitcoin change one's life Smiley
So far, the highest amount of satoshis I EARNED is 710,000 satoshis in a month from a signature campaign. The highest amount of satoshis that I WON from an online btc site is 2,000,000 satoshis, but the value of BTC by that time is still under P100,000. How I wish I've hold it in my wallet and deposited it today so I have more money than before.
