381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Large exchanges contacting and offering us to list altcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 05:43:33 PM
Hi

So 2 major exchanges with trading volume of 1 billion USD  to 2 billion USD have contacted us regarding a new project and they are saying they like our project very much and are offering to list on their exchanges. At first i thought its fake but looks like it is real listing manager contacting us.

They are saying the fees to list will be around 20k to 50k depending on package type and they require safety audit report, legal papers and etc.

Now my question is:-

1) Is it worth listing on their exchange when we already have decentralized exchanges like uniswap and pancakeswap where we can create a exchange within minutes.

2) in case we decide to list what kind of exposure are we getting from such exchanges?

3) we are still in our presale phase and presale is not even started, so we lack funds. Is there anyone to help and partner with us if you think listing on such exchanges will be beneficial.

Thanks

Since you are still in your presale phase, the best decision would be to decline at the moment. Your main focus should be on project development and not listing in some great exchange since you can easily get delisted when things don't work well with your project. In all my years in this industry, what I have realized is that quality and use case makes a project thrive and last longer in this sea of competition. While marketing and community are also important, they all follow well as you prove how great the quality of your project and its use case is. Besides, you already have pancakeswap and uniswap. Spending that kind of money just to get into an exchange in your current situation is just not worth it.

Hope this helps.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite NFT? on: June 17, 2021, 05:01:45 PM
NFT truly is the best idea I've seen yet along with defi. Just imagine how big the art industry and the gaming industry is. For these markets to be tapped in and connected to the crypto currency industry is just mind blowing. Digital arts, and game items that are secured by NFTs and defi is like heaven for everyone interested in these things. And the best part is that this only makes way for a faster world wide adoption of crypto currencies. I am very excited to know what the future holds for this great collaboration.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most optimistic result of Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 04:20:58 PM
Well yeah, indeed it would be very nice to see bitcoin becoming or actually being what satoshi designed it to be. Having such a thing happen would be very interesting since it would literally change the way this world works. Too bad though that it is as close as to impossible for this to happen. Just looking at how bitcoin is being used now, you just know that there's no going back. And besides, there are also a lot of factors today that would hinder any crypto currency at the moment to be the in line with satoshi's vision. That's just how it is. But hey, at least we are heading to mass adoption pretty fast so at least in a sense, it's still okay.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 16, 2021, 09:51:28 PM
There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

(See study here - https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/20/how-much-money-you-need-to-be-happy-according-to-wealth-experts.html)

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

I agree with you. Nowadays, you can almost have no means of survival without money, due to this, some resort to criminal activities, even those who are supposed to be really good people gets left with no choice but to resort to such things. But even with these facts, I still believe that theost valuable things in life van never be bought. Also, I kind of disagree with that popular opinion of yours since I have witnessed for myself a bunch of rich people being easily angered and offended because they know they can get away with almost anything and so even with the slightest mistakes, they tend to take it very seriously not because of the offenses but because they want to show off their capabilities. At the end, it all just comes down to how your parents or guardians have raised you. Money can't buy everything and genuine happiness are often seen on poor people.
385  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Corona virus, man's biggest lesson on: June 16, 2021, 08:53:53 PM
Indeed this virus was woken up a lot of people. Many habe realized that in the face of such problems, not even your momey or your syatus can save you. Just like how some rich and influential people here in my city died due to lack of medical resources and could not cater the huge number of people getting infected. Rich or poor, all had the same chances of dying on tents outside of the hospital and get cremated without even having the chance to have proper final goodbyes with their loved ones or even funerals. This pandemic has taught us how important every breath we take is along with every ounce of food and water as supply runs out. And yes, the leaders of every country in the world saw their own flaws and what their country needs most to be always prepared for unprecedented pandemics such as covid-19. I just hope that it isn't too late yet in learning about these things.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2021, 07:38:01 PM
There can be several reasons as to why millionaires such as the ones you have mentioned hate bitcoin but the things that pops first into my mind every time I encounter such a question are:

 1. They are traditional people - Traditional people only believes in the traditional ways of earning money which they have been studying and using all this time and have been able to prove for themselves the effectiveness. Hence, they only trust traditional ways that they can be sure enough to deliver good results and not see as a 50-50 gamble.

 2. Cyptos affect their businesses/source of income negatively - Now as we can see on the first reason, they have traditional ways of earning and some traditional ways can easily be affected negatively by this industry like banking, remittances and more.

 3. Personal hate for innovation(Complicated things that require a lot to comprehend fully) - Let's face it, lots of traditional people hate the thought of new things that require a huge amount of time and effort to understand. And being a businessman, the person's every move are naturally well calculated to have as much success rate as possible. Now with this industry having too many uncontrollable variables, it is almost impossible to get expected results in a hundred percent. Thus, makes traditional people hesitant to hateful.

There are more reasons out there but these are probably the most logical ones that I think of most of the time.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: June 14, 2021, 05:12:14 PM
Are you serious? Lol. Do you even realize how big of a market capitalization is needed for dogecoin to reach $1? What a way to kill your investments with basless fantasies. I sure hope that not a lot of people listened to you and that you, alpng with the people who supported doge got out with profits or minimal losses since I really don't think the price of dogecoin will still be able to reach its last ATH. At least not untill a super duper omega bull run happens. It was pretty obvious where everything was leading to. I feel bad for the ones who lost too much though.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Musk say's he'll re-invest in BTC when +50% of ASIC miners are GREEN on: June 14, 2021, 04:20:51 PM
For heaven's sake! Stop taking the words of this guy seriously! There are already enough people being db enough to trust their investments to the twwets of Elon Musk! We don't need more! How the hell will the future of this industry end up when people always give this guy's words credibility? He already fcked up a lot of investors with his trolling and now people still believe all the crap he talk about? Man, I really miss the days when china FUD is the only thing to be sad about :/
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Not just money but oil is most important in the World on: June 14, 2021, 03:54:02 PM
Even without such reasoning, it only takes common sense to understand how important oil is and that people would exchange anything just to get a hold of it whenever possible. This is because of the fact that oil and its by products are the most needed necessity of our innovative world that desires even more innovation. Without oil, this world will go into chaos. Just try to imagine a wold without oil, could we have gone this far? I don't think so. And is we still want to get even further, more of this thing is needed.
390  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin and Biden are Only true leaders on: June 14, 2021, 02:26:09 PM
To be honest, whoever gets elected in whichever country will never be a great leader. That's just how things are. This is because no matter how good a leader is, politics will find a way to f*ck up anyone's reputation highlighting only the mistakes that leaders do and not their great achievements. Although it is quite evident that there are obviously good leaders and bad leaders, it still won't matter since most of the people never get satisfied until they are living good lives without having to put in so much effort due to government help. That's just how disgusting most of the people in this world are.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰💰 Is it possible to steal Ether from a wallet? 💰💰💰 Yes! on: June 13, 2021, 06:51:58 PM
--snip--

Yeah you're right. I may have gotten carried away a bit because of the fact that I have experience losing funds already in the past. Also, its pretty embarrassing to admit but math really isn't my forte, so I really do not understand anything much about the codes and all from the post except for the thought of danger within it. Im glad though that a lot of people like you shared their insights and knowledge which has calmed my paranoia quite a bit. Thanks, responses like yours are the kinds of responses that deserve merit. Hence, Im sending one. Thanks again.

No problem... I know all those numbers seems daunting when you look at them, and as a non-technical problem it's pretty easy to fall into a FUD-trap like this.

What you have to take away from all this is: offcourse somebody can write a tool to try to bruteforce their way into your wallet... After all, they're pretty much using exactly the same code that's used to create a wallet to begin with (they're just looping over this code again and again, and added a function to check unspent outputs funding the created address). This doesn't mean anything at all. There is no way somebody can reverse engineer your address (or your public key) to find your private key (at least, not at this point in time).
The only thing he/she can do is try all private key(s), derive the public key from this private key, hash the public key (this hash is the address), the lookup this address into a database to see if unspent outputs are funding said address. In order to attack one specific address and have a 100% chance of robbing you, he needs to try out 2^256 private keys... That seems like it's something easy to do, but believe me, it isn't.

2^256 = 11579208923731619542357098500869000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (rounded down).
This is the number of loops he/she has to perform... Each loop has a big cost... It's not easy to derive a public key from a private key. It's not easy to hash this public key, it's not easy to lookup the address in a database. Like i said before, if you'd give EVERY human on the planet one million latest gen GPU's and let them try to find a funded address for 100 years (continuously), there would be a 1 in 20 million chance one person on earth would find one funded address in those 100 years...

You'd think that, if hardware becomes better, these numbers would go down significantly... but no... Sombody very smart (not me) has proven that you'd need to capture all energy ever delivered by our sun (during it's complete lifetime) to power a computer to simply count to 2^256. So, eventough the number "256" or "160" seems cute and feasible, it simply isn't Smiley

Now, don't just think your money is safe all the time... You yourself say you've been phished... Next to phishing, there are also people that use flawed wallets. You have people that are reckless with their seedphrase. There are people that use brainwallets. There are people that run infected PC's. There are people that save their wallets in the cloud. There are people that buy hardware wallets from unknown sources....
Plenty of ways to get robbed or scammed... Just not by somebody randomly guessing your private key... It's not that it's technically impossible, just that it's practically impossible...

This is quite reassuring, thanks for this. Too bad though that scammers are pretty creative and have dozens of ways in scamming people or stealing their funds. These type of people are what I hate the most, while other people work hard to get what they have, these people just go and steal the fruits of other people's efforts. Good thing though I took special care of my wallets ever since I experienced getting phished by these scammers.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Xi Jinping Beats Crypto, Bitcoin Mine Closes on: June 13, 2021, 04:34:22 PM
This guy is getting used to bullying people who are engaged in this industry this is really unfair considering how these people are only doing their best to earn money without stepping on anyone nor doing anything bad like scamming other people. If china decide to continuously allow such behavior from a leader, there will be nothing in good in store for this country and their people in the future. China eill get left behind and quite far at that.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tonga May Be The Next Nation To Adopt Bitcoin! Madness! on: June 13, 2021, 04:03:37 PM
'adopting bitcoin'
vs
'allowing bitcoin as a remittance vehicle'

are two different things
if its just used for remittance. then most people dont care if its a western union database or bitcoin. all they see is fiat at both ends.

true adoption is the ability to buy produce/pay bills using a different currency

I agree to this. Until the time comes that it is used on a day to day basis to pay for services or buy products from businesses or people, we cannot truly say that this is adoption. But still though, it is also a positive thing since it familiarizes people to bitcoin and to this indistry as a whole so I think it is also safe to say that in a way this is also adoption since it's still getting used outside of this industry? Im not sure. But what I'm really sure of though is that we need anything that would give publicity for bitcoin and this is one of it.
394  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google, Facebook Face Tighter EU Grip With New Privacy Law on: June 13, 2021, 03:22:25 PM
This should be a good thing I guess? Since people are crazy about having "privacy" despite not considering things properly or reading the privacy guidelines of a site before they even agree to the site's terms. Which is quite funny considering how their actions shout out the opposite of their need to protect their privacy. Just as how most of the people post about personal things or upload photos online displayed publicly to everyone then rant about privacy, lol. If you really want privacy, you'd think twice or several times first before uploading/posting anything personal or agreeing to terms before you even read them. Otherwise, don't go talking about how important your privacy is to you.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰💰 Is it possible to steal Ether from a wallet? 💰💰💰 Yes! on: June 12, 2021, 05:01:13 PM
I guess the problem isn't that people don't believe in math, the problem is that human minds are not capable of grasping numbers like 2^160 or 2^256.
They just see an number, so they deduct there IS a chance... They write a tool, and they see that technically, it would be capable of finding a private key whose public key hash was already funded. What they do not grasp is that if every human on earth would be running a 1.000.000 GPU farm for 100 years, the odds somebody somewhere finds a funded address is still smaller than 1 in 20 million.

They don't grasp they have a better chance of winning the big price in the euromillion lottery several times in their lifetime than they'd have at finding the private key to a funded address.
So, instead of trying to steal from somebody, you're (much) better off buying lottery tickets... It's legal, the odds of "winning" are MUCH higher, and the payout is much better (multiple millions vs a couple thousand dollars).

Now, there are tools that work... These tools attack flawed implementations...
For example, i know some wallets had flawed RNG's in the past, or there are people that have written tools to crack brain wallets... Just because a human mind is a terrible source of entropy (i don't know who said this, but it's not my quote), they are able to do this. But this tool just tries completely random keys, not flawed implementations, so the odds of actually finding a private key whose public key hash was funded are sooooooooooo close to 0, that in reality you could say the odds are 0.

Yeah you're right. I may have gotten carried away a bit because of the fact that I have experience losing funds already in the past. Also, its pretty embarrassing to admit but math really isn't my forte, so I really do not understand anything much about the codes and all from the post except for the thought of danger within it. 396  Economy / Economics / Re: If Something is cheap you Buy it Buy the dips on: June 12, 2021, 02:28:21 PM
You must understand that not everything cheap is worth it to be bought, specially in huge amounts. That mindset is just wrong. Although it is quite evident how good of a currency the us dollar is, looking at the economical state of the US right now makes it less appealing to me. And with the hype of the cryptocurrency industry, I would rather invest here than on the US dollar. But hey, just because I or most of the people does it, doesn't mean you also have to. Each to his own, invest on which you feel most comfortable about(by comfortable, meaning you know what you are doing and aware of all the peos and cons).
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does UBER accept bitcoin in 'El Salvador'? on: June 12, 2021, 12:19:37 PM
As of the moment, I don't think that uber in El Salvador has announced any interest in using bitcoin or any cryptocurrency as a means of payment for their services. But with the legalization of Bitcoin in El Salvador becoming even more closer to fuition every single day, I do not think that it would take too long before uber finally releases a statement expressing their thoughts about this matter. And sooner or later, a lot of service providers on El Salvador will surely follow. That is, if legalization of cryptocurrencies on El Salvador really does succeed.
398  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How the Government made you fat on: June 12, 2021, 11:39:28 AM
With all the knowledge being easily accessible nowadays, a little confirmation of sources can give a lot of people benefits. And with all of these, it becomes quite easy to build dietary plans on whatever body type you have. Now we all know that too much of anything is never good which is why dozens of studies promote a balanced diet. If people only rely on information being fed to them without even doing their own research, then that would be their problem. They are basically letting big businesses take advantage of their gullibility at the expense of their health. These type of people are pitiful.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰💰 Is it possible to steal Ether from a wallet? 💰💰💰 Yes! on: June 11, 2021, 08:02:46 PM
This is really scary. If some guy manages to really improve this then a lot of people can be f*cked. I kinda wish somehow that I never saw this post. I am wondering though, is it possible to utilize such a tool to target a specific address or wallet? If so, it would be really scary for those who hold big bags on their wallet(s).

Maybe this issue can be fixed by the developers? I think developers would've already found out about this even before you posted it and may probably be trying to come up with ways to tighten their security? Whichever the case, it's still very scary. Specially for me who have been a victim of phishing sites back then(2017).
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which BSC project is best for 2021? on: June 11, 2021, 06:11:24 PM
There are quite a few that have caught my eyes recently but still haven't invested huge amounts because of the current situation of the market. But out of the list, my top choices are pancakeswap amd apeswap, since you can earn with their various options available. I suggest you join their telegram and see for yourself. It would take me a lot of words if I explain things here so betyer ask about it yourself in their telegram or read about their pinned chats. Remember, always research before investing and always divide your investments properly. Good luck man.
