3921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACT] WAVES = ICO SCAM on: June 30, 2016, 12:23:27 AM

Well, let me think about it

(ICO address)13891 BTC
https://blockchain.info/address/3DWBSSAue32YS8PcW2gLs6m52BCCv3UgDA
+
10000 BTC
https://blockchain.info/address/35fe2CM2zbMeSfhRjpjW8ikTJcZj8NooFD
+
According to escrow agreement the funds have to be transferred from the escrow address.
https://blockchain.info/address/35fe2CM2zbMeSfhRjpjW8ikTJcZj8NooFD official Waves cold wallet
5 k is withdrawn for current and upcoming development and marketing costs, good moment to sell BTC. 1 k out of it is spent on WAVES buy-back.

At the moment spent only 1k btc for buy back. (≈3M Waves)

Of course, full report will be provided about how the funds were spent.

Smiley

Your figures are outdated. They moved 2500 BTC to 3BPrbYMyzgb6BZHHKFrsETBwtYzLqoXcgr, today. Also, I don't think that your investors originally interpreted that the buy support would be below the ICO price. Cheesy Is that the WAVES team moving some of their 9 million WAVES tokens to Bittrex to suppress the price down to their lowball buyback walls? Cheesy
3922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACT] WAVES = ICO SCAM on: June 30, 2016, 12:09:08 AM
So much trolling and fud in here. They made announcement of making own community and also will announce on here and start a new topic once they decide on when to do so. Love it when trolls come out to say hello and spread so much fud and do not know what is going on other than to troll hard and know nothing.

You've been here long enough to know that most ICOs don't work out for the better. In fact, most alts in general don't work out for the better. You can scream FUD all that you want, but you know very well that it's always better to err on the side of caution. I'm glad for you that the Waves team has gained your CONfidence. You do realize that the WAVES investors right now are in a totally vulnerable position when the only node processing transactions, is owned by the WAVES team. People are concerned about a 51% attack, but at the moment, the WAVES team has 100% of the control. I doubt Bittrex or the other exchanges that have access to the full node are going to come to the rescue if the WAVES team decides to do whatever they want with the blockchain.
Also, on the thread they locked, I think it is interesting that the OP used to have the address for the escrow account. They managed to edit that out before locking the thread. Here is the original escrow account address for those interested. https://blockchain.info/address/3DWBSSAue32YS8PcW2gLs6m52BCCv3UgDA
3923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum not listed in polo? on: June 29, 2016, 05:14:46 AM
Unfortunately, I still see these markets on both Polo and Bittrex. I was about to salivate at the prospect of these blights going away. Guess that I can always dream. Angry

Also, some coins from the dev fund will go to Spoetnik and BitcoinEXpress for his long term contributions to this forum, that goes without saying.

You are joking here? Right?  Cheesy
3925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum should I buy or wait? on: June 29, 2016, 03:05:59 AM
Does anyone know how much the ETH devs have invested in the DAO?

ETH is a joke. The devs were invested in the poorly coded DAO so they push for a do-over when it fails. They rush a soft fork that turns out to be poorly coded. Now they are going to rush a hard fork and hope the third time is a charm. Amazing they turn ETH into shit over a third party screw up. I am amazed it has not tanked much harder...

It's just conjecture, based on the fact that most of them were curators for theDAO. Something must have motivated many of them to put their rubber stamp of approval on theDAO and help them out. The simplest explanation is that they were financially motivated.
3926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support ICOs? on: June 29, 2016, 02:16:38 AM
I just support ICOs who has a escrow address and where I can see something new, but I think 95% are scam, specially Yobit ICOs (At least in the signature campaign Yobit pays so good hahahaha).

Even the ones that use an escrow address are bad. I've seen so many projects do the bare minimum to meet the conditions of the escrow and fizzle out in a month or less. I for one, am going to absolve never to stick my toe and check the waters of any of these again. So far, I have only found that they are all cesspools of greed.
3927  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: June 29, 2016, 02:07:37 AM

That send to my BTC balance button is not working for me please all of you guyzz make it sure !
yobit is there some technical issue then hope to see its done soon !
They just need to fill up the coffers again. May take a few days. They usually end up paying in the end. The one time that they failed to count correctly, due to an update of Bitcointalk, they ran a double pay special for a few days.
3928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support ICOs? on: June 29, 2016, 02:01:43 AM
Do you support projects that run ICOs? Do you think that's okay or a no go?

They are a no go for me. I tried many of these out and made a little profit. However, in the end, I always ended up complaining and starting to FUD, which was well deserved for all of them. One should be fearful, uncertain and doubtful when it comes to these. I am now saving myself the painful step of buying into these and will be going straight to FUD. It's just not worth the pittance that I ever profited from any of them.
3929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the deal with the sudden ETH drop? on: June 29, 2016, 12:47:47 AM
It was a nice idea: Create a network that can run DAPPS and smart contracts via a blackchain. However, it is abundantly clear that the Ethereum Foundation is just not capable of cramming this square peg into a round hole. I would recommend anyone wanting to get involved in ETH right now, use it for it's true purpose:  make a quick buck. Short this shit to the grave, so we can all move on.
Erm no. Did you even bother to read the article? The worst case scenario in the eth blockchain processing transactions slower than normal with empty blocks until the code is patched. Definitely a gud time to buy while the price has dropped slightly over the usual scaremongering from the ETH haters.

Wow, wasting electricity on invalid transactions seems like such a good option. Guess the miners don't care, as long as they get their reward. Time to milk this cow for as much as it's worth before it's slaughtered. Cheesy

3931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No ICO no premine ethereum clone. on: June 28, 2016, 11:24:43 PM
OP, I suggest you consider a different coin to clone. There appears to be real issues with the Solidarity language. It does not appear even Vitalik Buterin himself knows all of the security flaws with Solidarity, nor how to program around them with anything beyond a rudimentary complexity. (Like the smart contact equivalent of "Hello World." And that may be pushing it.)

Who's online page showing unusually large amount of "Guest    XX:XX:XX XX    Logging into the forum.".  Is that normal?

Looks like there's no captcha requests when logging in.  I could've swore it was there before...

A person can read content without logging in. They can't post or view trust though.
3933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: June 26, 2016, 06:29:21 PM
I'm all in BTC now, I expect more dumping, then a huge pump prior to the Halvening, after that I don't really know what will happen, if miners go out of business it may be the end of Bitcoin for real. I think Ethereum only survived this disaster (for now) because of the miners support, it should be $4-5 or even less.
What makes you say that? If miners go out of business, other miners take over. Difficulty can go down again if not enough blocks are found. Miners are just competing to find blocks, there is no reason for all of the to quit at the same time.
Yeah if you think it carefully if miner has stop expect for difficulty to be increase and mining again will be profitable. people want to invest their money they will buy new asic miner to mine their own while the difficulty is low..

Yeah i think this whole miners stopping mining is irrelevant . If all the top miners stop mining then after a while the difficulty is going to drop back down and all the home miners are going to jump back on the bandwagon, When this happens your then going to get bigger miners mining again and then before we know it were back at full mining potential.

the miners aren't going anywhere. Someone will always mine it for the foreseeable future.

When you have Chinese mining farms getting cheap electricity from Hydroelectric dams built in the middle of nowhere, I do not think you will need to worry about the halving substantially causing the Bitcoin network to grind down to a crawl. Also, I am sure Bitmain has not shown us their full strength with the new S9 miners. Look for Antpool to become even more of a powerhouse soon after halving.
3934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH = Game Over on: June 26, 2016, 05:47:32 PM
do you believe the price will rise after the fork, or it will rmeain as it is in this moment? the price recovered quite a bit, but it still no where near its prime, i'm not sure if it is wise to keep my etheruem or dump it now

OP Why game over? See the chart and you can see how Ethereum price has been increased, it was 0.02145 and it was increase to 0.02322 which is an increase of +8%. If an investment of 10BTC was made then within 2 hours during the pump the profit would be 0.8BTC.

Well if you believe ETH was just made as an investment vehicle, so people can try their luck and make profit, then yes, ETH is a rip roaring success. If you believe that Ethereum was made so people can purchase the Ether tokens and run Dapps and smart contracts that are actually worth a shit, then so far, it's an epic fail. Good luck in trading these tokens that don't have much use ATM for their stated purpose. It's kind of like going to a video arcade, buying tokens, and finding they are only useful to play some run down, vintage, pong machine. Cheesy

Instead please continue growing the platform. People just love to waste time in here.

Please don't try to cover up the truth. Let him answer.

The same question will be asked of Rise and Lisk.

They already distributed 9 million coins to themselves. That's plenty of coins to manipulate the market when the supply is set at 100 million, with no more to ever be created. They are also using 1K of ICO funds to buy back even more coins. Interesting how the market appears to be suppressed now. They also distributed 4 million coins to "strategical partners and backers."

I just can't understand how the price is going up.

The ICO "Scheme Coin" tokens are worthless and clearly over valued by a lot.
AND it was just hacked for fuck sakes !

And the price is going up ? WTF ?

Seriously i have no respect for you people in Crypto you make me sick.
I also think we have whales pumping it / walls etc making sure it does not drop down to much..

..let me know how that works out for ya LOL

They are just going to keep jerry-rigging this shit, and hope they can get the EVM working. They want to crank out more shit tokens out of thin air.
We all know how most jerry-rigging jobs end up though....
