I will do this for you, an easy job, and a lot of people know the way to do it, so I'll do it for free, whenever you need it. Support here, and you do not need to pay any fees. Money is not the most important thing, help is always needed with good people.
If you're thinking about viabtc: i don't think it'll work, since i suspect the transaction is using inputs that were previously used in a different transaction that remained unconfirmed and is since dropped from the blockchain.info's node mempool.... However, viabtc, like my own node, has modified mempool retention times... So they won't drop a transaction after 3 days, so they'll reject transactions that double spends an input for a longer time...

The problem analysis and potential sollutions can be found here: http://mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=0f8197251408b3c6913eb8812a63469db37566b237329b671bf33088feb285adSummary: in your case you can: -wait-pay off a miner (but you cannot use viabtc, since they don't allow transactions with less than 5 sat/bye) -since you're the sender, and there is no change address, you cannot do a CPFP (unless you're also the receiver) -you can still double spend one of the unconfirmed inputs in a new transaction-it seems you didn't opt-in RBF, so you can't do that either

This transaction uses an unconfirmed output as input to create a new transaction. Next to this, the error code i got when pushing your raw, signed, transaction to my node seems to indicate that this transaction is double spending an input that has previously been used in a transaction that is still in my mempool (altough the error i got can also mean other things, so this is not confirmed)... Here's the raw transaction: 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
As soon as the conflicting transaction is dropped from my mempool, you can use my wizard to push the new tx to my node: http://www.mocacinno.com/page/txpusher . This way, your transaction will be re-broadcasted trough the network. You can try to follow this link: http://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=df994f4dce12dc8b83d42da984f3aa5a3418ebc525bb3b3835ff5ad5402ac138#asking in order to find a pool that can potentially include your tx in the block they're working on, but they'd have to include the transaction this tx depends on aswell, and they'd have to drop the conflicting tx from their mempool before pushing this tx to their node...

@OP : this tutorial should help you out setting up electrum as cold storage: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/coldstorage.html It could be a bit outdated, buttons might have moved around a bit, but the basic idear is still completely correct. btw: if you want an easy sollution, look into either a paper wallet, or a hardware wallet. A paper wallet will costs you basically the cost of a sheet of paper, but it can only be swept once (once you sweep it, it is compromised and it can never be used again). A hardware wallet will set you back 70€-100€ for a basic model, but it'll last years and is usually pretty straightforeward to use. MOD EDIT: Removed part that quoted a removed post.

Hello, I been working with multibit since 2015 it worked nicely.
Today suddenly it stop working and gave me error were my password was incorrect. But my password is 100% Correct.
Im in the same machine as i created my wallet. I have all the backup files aes since i create my wallet. I have my password.
But I dont remember my words, lost my pappers.
I need help ungently. Im a relatively noob at informatics, just using bitcoins as a normal user. I offer up to 25% of my wallet who can recover it please. I have inside 5 Bitcoins. I need help urgently.
I hope any good soul can help me.
I'd suggest only using somebody with massive green trust and postive feedback to help you out. If you cannot find anybody, i'm willing to give it a try, altough i seriously doubt i'm trusted enough to request for the wallet file + password + seed for a wallet that holds 5 BTC...

So, today I went on shapeshift to see whether I can sell some eth for btc there. Min sum of eth is only 0.076 which is great but what caught my eye in a miner fee in bitcoin. I guess this is a btc transaction fee, not eth fee, right? Anyway, the sum is 0.0021 BTC! I'm used to fees below one dollar. But more than 3 dollars is just too much, isn't it? What do you think about that? And can anyone tell me what kind of transaction is that (eth miner fee or btc one)?
You'll deposit ETH, so the fee for the deposit transaction will be payed by you. The fee they list on their site is the withdrawal fee... So you are correct, the 0.0021 BTC is the miner fee to include the withdrawal transaction in the bitcoin blockchain... At the time of writing https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ recommands a 220 sat/byte fee. Using my tool: http://www.mocacinno.com/page/feeestimate at the time of writing, a transaction with 2 inputs and 2 outputs should have a fee of 0.00082 to have a 95% chance of getting into the next 3 blocks... So 0.0021 BTC is a bit "outrageous" at the time of writing (altough, i verified your claim, and i came to the same conclusion as you did). So, they're either planning on creating a withdrawal transaction using tons of dust inputs, or they pay way to much fees and pass the costs on to their users. But, remember, nobody is forcing anybody to use their site... If you don't like it, don't use it ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Thanks! I've been wanting a Linux machine for ages, so I'm happy to hear that. Just a shame that Linux doesn't support Oculus Rift! haha. Now because of your fast replies I can get on with buying my exciting new laptop! woohoo!
IF you bought an oculus and really want to use it, there's always the option of either dual booting, or the option of running a linux distro in virtualbox. Altough untested by me, there even is the option of running windows subsystem for linux on windows 10: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/commandline/wsl/install_guideArch linux even has a wiki page devoted to running an oculus V9 => https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Oculus_RiftAltough for simplicity and compatibility reasons, i'd suggest either debian or ubuntu as a starter distro
|
|
|
Sorry, I realised that just now and added a few more. Doh, I'm being a dummy but I didn't expect such great fast replies! Thanks!
I'd still go for linux, since an honest dev should, in my opinion, publish his work on github (or an other online repo). Once the sourcecode is on github, i personally think it's much easyer to compile a wallet on linux compared to windows. The ones in your current list are still older, established coins, so there should be little or no difference in the release time of windows vs linux binaries tough...
|
|
|
I use blockchain wallet.I have tried to contact the support, but they were not helpful.
In that case, i'd defenately go for contacting remitano, since i cannot help you to create a double spending transaction using an online wallet (it should be possible, i just don't know how to do this). BTW: most nodes drop unconfirmed transactions from their mempool after 72 hours, so if your transaction remains unconfirmed for 3-4 days, you have a reasonable chance blockchain support will be able to fix your wallet, so it'll be like the transaction never happened.
|
|
|
Perhaps I can help by being a bit more specific:
Bitcoin Ethereum Monero Factom Synereo Dash Storj
Given that list, can anyone say whether Windows or Linux would likely be the first release platform for their wallets/nodes/stuff...?
You're listing the bigger, more established coins here... I don't think there will be a (big) difference between the release times for windows or linux wallets for these coins. I was talking about new coins with a small community. I'd personally go for linux, but i think it's just a matter of personal taste...

I am about to buy a fancy laptop primarily for the purpose of doing all my cryptocurrency stuff (but not mining).
Can anybody help me decide between Windows and Linux? My main question is do wallets/nodes tend to be developed on Linux first or Windows first? I want to know which platform Bitcoin clients, but also other cryptocurrency clients/wallets in general tend to get developed on first.
I am not an expert with command line, so I refer mainly to GUI type wallets.
In my personal opinion, an honest dev will publish his sourcecode on github... In my experience, compiling a node/wallet on linux is a lot easyer than compiling one on windows. however, i've seen some dev's publishing the windows binary long before publising the linux binary...

I was trying to exchange my bitcoin for my local currency yesterday on remitano.com. The coin already left me wallet, but it is still showing pending transaction. and remitano suddenly canceled my transaction. They did not even credit my wallet there. I want to cancel that transaction from my wallet and get my Bitcoin back. Please how do I do it?
you can always try to double spend one of the inputs of the transaction in a new transaction using a higher fee, and try to broadcast the new transaction... If this new transaction makes it into a block, the inputput you double spent is removed from the UTXO set of the nodes, so your "old" transaction is now using an input that is no longer in the UTXO set, hence it will be voided... BawsyBoss is right tough: the cleanest, most honest and easyest way to handle this problem is to contact remitano support. BTW: could you possibly post or PM the tx id, that way i can have a look... It might also be usefull if you told us which wallet software you used to create the tx?

Is it this one? https://shop.pinidea.io/index.php/product/asic-x11-miner-du-1/Are these specs correct: HashRate: 9M Power: 1.4A/5V, that's 7W (without a controller) Since you'd make about $60/year mining dash with those ones (without power costs), i'd also offer $30 for one (delivery and escrow included). I know this is kinda lowballing, but i'm only interested in such a miner if it's really a bargain, so no offense taken if you don't accept my offer ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Over the weekend, i got following 3 PM's from bussybuddy. As said in the PM sent on friday, i will no longer answer to these PM's in private, but rather publish them and answer them on the public forum. pm id: 5973490 Hi,
I was closing the Lottery for you and for your 15 friends what are afraid to play but they are not playing they are trying to hunt people and to name them scammers.
There is nothing suspicious with my Lottery I was funding it just to increase the interest if did not work is not your fault your friends fault or my fault, and if you are looking to name me scammer do it but do not forget to bring proofs.
You are mentally affected and this is the reason for what you are following me.
I do not care, do constructive things not follow others to put yourself in troubles.
pm id: 5973497 Better is to publish the chat between us if you have nothing to hide, I am not scammer so from my side you have the right to publish all the private chats between us
pm id: 5974066 Mr Mocacinno for you I am telling you to stop with any actions against me ... I am not scammer and pls understand I do not need advertising from your side even if is for free. You left pissed off and now you are in revenge and you are generating stories around me and about me. You are depressed is clear find a way to recover yourself do not worry about others! Worry about you and your family and when you will finish with them start to worry about others.
Do not invent any stories just because you are pissed off and try to make me to pay you back, calm down you are proving now you are mad...
Keep calm and be happy not pissed off
My responses: - I did not ask you to close your lottery... I asked you to either confirm or deny that you were buying your own tickets, and i asked you to make your lottery provably fair. If the lottery was provably fair, i couldn't care less if you were buying your own tickets. But buying your own tickets + not provably fair = suspicious
- Thank you for admitting you bought your own tickets, i'll add this answer to question number 1 (14 unanswered questions left)
- Where do you get these 15 friends?
- I have never called you a scammer directly (as far as i can remember). I just said i have a bad gut feeling about allmost every project you start. There is a big difference between not trusting somebody and claiming they're scammers
- Please provide proof about the fact that i'm mentally affected... Sure, i have a bad feeling about any project you have promoted on this forum so far, and i have called you out about this, i don't see why it should make me mentally affected
- Thank you for allowing me to post historic PM's between us. At this point, i think posting these old PM's would just distract everybody from the 15 questions i asked you tough
- I do not think i created a single story about you... I'm asking you (what i believe to be) legitimate questions. If you have nothing to hide, why don't you just answer them?

for sure if compare with S7-S9... what is the best for mining hardware since bitcoin difficulty very high... i try some altcoin but still no good result
At this moment, nothing tops the S9 (afaik) when talking about Joule/Ghs. That being said, you'll still need a sub 7 cents/Kwu electricity rate if you want a shot at making profit (there are many other factors, but the electricity rate is the biggest)

This is the PM i sent bussybuddy, messageid 5966907: Hi bussybuddy,
I know we're not the best of friends (to say the least), but i tried to ignore your business threads for a while now. However, a certain user PM'ed me about his suspicions about your lottery ticket sales, so i decided to once again dig into your threads.
I have made a new thread in the reputation subsection to give you a public forum to reply to the things that worry me. Please don't see this as a personal attack, but rather as an opportunity for you to set the record straight. The 15 concerns are listed at the bottom of the OP. If you decide to answer, i'll add your answers to the correct question in the second post of the thread.
It's up to you wether or not you'd like to reply to my concerns, however, please note that i will no longer answer to any PM's i get from you, or from users i suspect to be your sockpuppets. If you send me a PM, i shall either ignore it, or i will post it publicly on my new thread and give a public answer (it's up to my own discretion to chose an option), please note that i will not redact any of your new PM's when i publicly post them.
Kind regards, Mocacinno
My weekend starts in 2 hours, i will only check back on this thread on monday!!! This gives user bussybuddy ample time to think about wether or not he wants to answer any of my questions, or if he choses to ignore meEdit on monday 8/05/2017 Public list of questions/answers from/to bussybuddy- 1)Can you give a reasonable explanation why the tickets sold in your lottery are all bought by the same person?
- 1)Answer: bussybuddy admitted to buying his own tickets in PM 5973490, altough he claims this is not suspicious behaviour
- 2)Will you take steps to make your lottery provably fair?
- unanswered

First of all, let me start this thread by saying i have NO conclusive proof to say user bussybuddy is a scammer. All proof is circumstantial, and could be interpreted in a way that places bussybuddy in a bad light, as well as it could be interpreted in a way that makes user bussybuddy look like he's just trying to jumpstart his business. The reason for making this thread is that i received a PM from a second user that pointed out bussybuddy's recent activities. As many of you might know, bussybuddy and i didn't get off on a good start. I asked him, what i believe, legitimate questions, and gave him (what i believe) honest feedback to improve his service... He replied by calling me mentally ill, a pervert, a copy/paster, a sockpuppet,... You get the point. I took him off my watchlist and put him on ignore, but the PM i got from a second user put him straight back on my watchlist, since his recent endaveour might end up in innocent people losing funds... So it was time to write up all my suspicions about this user and create a thread in the reputation subforum to give him the opportunity to explain what's happening ( since i have no conclusive proof i will not open a scam accusation) First observation:Bussybuddy is running a lottery... Apparently it's the second drawing already. The first lottery used deposit address 1P24zuaR9niAjWtMsGisfmUNqyR6mk1fVD. At first glance, looking at https://blockchain.info/address/1P24zuaR9niAjWtMsGisfmUNqyR6mk1fVD it looks like he sold 18 tickets, drew a winner and sent him 0.013201. When digging deeper, the user PM'ing me found out that all inputs come from the same wallet. As a matter of fact, there was one original input, and each time the input is used in a transaction buying a ticket, the change is used to buy the next ticket... The second lottery follows the exact same sequence, using the winnings from the first lottery!! He only changed his deposit address to 1HC4pyrN6Hnizpz5zFST3RUDgje6tMeCDU First conclusion:Although there is no way to prove that he's buying his own tickets, it's hard to believe a third party is buying up all tickets in both drawings. As a matter of fact, because the transaction size becomes so large, a huge fee is needed, so if a third party was buying all tickets, he would lose a lot of his money in fees (0.004799 BTC from first draw) Second observation:Bussybuddy's lottery isn't provably fair, nor is it using an escrow Second conclusion:If the draw ever sells any tickets to real users, bussybuddy can buy 1 single ticket and then he can easily manipulate the draw to pick himself, thus stealing from ticket buyers. third observation:Although bussybuddy has accused me of being an alt of other users that replied on his thread, i completely deny this accusation... However, i strongly suspect bussybuddy has an alt he uses as his own sock puppet to shill for him: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=987978Why? - Pixellord is a term he's trying to "brand". If you look at his site, you see a big banner saying "become pixellord for only 0.01 BTC/month"
- User Pixellord was created after bussybuddy had altrications with other people on this forum, and he needed a "helping hand"
- User Pixellord was created for the sole purpose of shilling for bussybuddy. All posts made by pixellord are solely aimed at making bussybuddy looking good
- User Pixellord has made his 5 posts during the timeframe user bussybuddy is most active
- User Pixellord actually has promo for bussybuddy in his signature
- User Pixellord uses the same crappy english
- User Pixellord gave +ve to bussybuddy
- User Pixellord uses telegram, something bussybuddy seems to do to
Third conclusion:Although not 100% proved, i think it's very probable user bussybuddy uses a sockpuppet to shill for him. He also uses this sockpuppet to get "free bumps" on his threads, he later on replies to his sock puppet, again bumping his own thread, circumventing the 1 bump per 24 hours policy Fourth observation:User bussybuddy started spamming his business all over other threads, completely hijacking them without actually contributing. Although, at first glance it looks like he's giving advice/loans/..., he actually never forks over any BTC to fill any request, and the end result is just him posting his link on hijacked threads examples: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1766596.msg18784778#msg18784778https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1164418.msg18561132#msg18561132https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1853580.msg18557053#msg18557053https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1739698.msg18555848#msg18555848https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1065017.msg18555802#msg18555802https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg18555651#msg18555651https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1133534.msg18555642#msg18555642https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1571743.msg18555533#msg18555533Fourth conclusion:Most of the posts he makes out of his own threads seem to be pointed to drive people towards his threads, to his site or get them to mail him Fifth observation:User bussybuddy claims to get 1000 uniques/day to his site ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1766596.msg18784778#msg18784778), the only half-proof ever posted was a print screen without legend on this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1878258.msg18668562#msg18668562 . The country with the biggest amount of hits is the UK... The country of his residence. The second most is the US, home of the google bot... There is no legend to see if this were stats for 1 day, 1 month, 2017, forever,... I'd like to see some real statistics that prove that those couple thousand hits are real traffic, coming from real people, and add up to 1000 uniques/day Fifth conclusion:If he cannot prove his statistics, IMHO, he's using false advertising, since he's selling his adspots for 3 BTC/100pixels at the moment, but if his site doesn't have any traffic, it's actually falsely advertised, since the net worth of the adspot is determined by the number of visitors Sixth observation:At the beginning of his website, bussybuddy put an ad to a clear ponzi on his site. To bad it has since been removed. He insisted the ponzi was placed there by one of his customers, so it wasn't his fault. I estimated the price this user should have payed for this adspot, and asked bussybuddy to prove that this adspot was sold, and not owned by him by showing me a txid of the buyer. He refused to do so. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1808632.msg18022745#msg18022745 is where he says the ponzi add is not owned by him... There is no proof of him not wanting to post a txid, since he just ignored my questions about this subject. Sixth conclusion:Since he failed to prove that the adspot was purchased by a third party, i think it's fair to conclude the odds are very great that he put an add to his own ponzi on his own site. Once he realised people were not buying his explanation, he removed the add. Seventh observation:Bussybuddy is claiming other user's are breaking forum rules related to copy/pasting and using sockpuppets: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1808632.msg18286687#msg18286687https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1808632.msg18033928#msg18033928Seventh conclusion:the only thing i did was making the mistake to think that he asked 0.01 BTC for 100 pixels, while instead, his price at that time was 1 BTC for 100 pixels. I also miscounted the number of pixels used to publish the ponzi ad, so my final calculation was way off. He then proceeded to make fun of me, and corrected my mistake. Of course, i used his corrections to make further calculations instead of using my own (incorrect) values. Because i used his correct values for further calculations instead of using my incorrect values, he started called me a copy/paster (which is a serious accusation on this forum) As for the second part of his accusation: i strongly deny to be an alt of Adaseb, although i strongly respect this user. Eighth observation:all bussybuddy's more controversial threads seem to be locked most of the time... Does that sound fishy to anybody Eighth conclusion:it does to me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Ninth observation:the only proof bussybuddy seems to give is that he doxxed himself, and that his rating on scamadviser is higher than the rating of my free site. The fact that i do not want to give up my anonimity, use an avatar and have a lower rating on scamadviser was sufficient for him to discard any question i asked as utter nonsense. He waved away any questions i asked by saying i was a competitor, while the only thing my site does is giving free tools to people, while his site is aimed at making millions of dollars by selling adspots. Ninth conclusion:Afaik, scamadviser isn't a community standard. Before bussybuddy brought it up, i never heard of the site... Googling some reviews usually turn up site like this one:https://safeweb.norton.com/reviews?url=scamadviser.com So, all in all, having a good/bad rating on such a site means nothing to me. As for doxxing himself.. I haven't seen anybody trying to verify his identity, as well as the fact that having a known identity will not prevent him from scamming (Mtgox was brought up by adaseb, although bussybuddy failed to recognize Mark Karpelès) Tenth observation:Recently, bussybuddy started to forward traffic from his TLD directly to his million pixel webpage. However, in the past, he was actively recruiting people to become a "bussybuddy expert", promising up to 1 BTC for all applicants. AFAIK, he didn't have a solid privacy policy while he was asking a lot of private information... No proof, but it sounds rather fishy to me. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1628645.msg16388049#msg16388049Tenth conclusion:I have no proof he was gathering private information for personal gain, but the fact he offered an outrageous signup bonus coupled with the fact he was asking personal info seems sketchy to me
And now, List of questions i'd publicly like to ask bussybuddy... If he can give satisfactory answers, i promise to leave him alone, and publicly apologise!!!- 1)Can you give a reasonable explanation why the tickets sold in your lottery are all bought by the same person?
- 2)Will you take steps to make your lottery provably fair?
- 3)Will you start using a reputable escrow?

Can someone please explain where I have gone wrong with my fee? Bare in mind that when I broadcasted this transaction the avergage fee was 60 sat/B. My fee is 100 sat/B which totals 0.00244634 but it's been stuck for like a day and a half or something.
Where am I going wrong?
TXID 78d646934f25c8aa168805b4dbd29c01e619b8c1f27c3032f7a084b9d0ff9ec0
The full analysis of the problem + the possible sollutions => https://www.mocacinno.com/feecheck.php?txid=78d646934f25c8aa168805b4dbd29c01e619b8c1f27c3032f7a084b9d0ff9ec0It basically breaks down to the fact that at this very moment, 100 sat/byte isn't sufficient to have a 95% chance of getting in the next 24 blocks (4 hours). It does not matter what the fee was at the time you broadcasted the transaction, a miner doesn't care about the order in which he received the transaction, he only cares about which transaction in his mempool has the highest fee/byte, even if older transactions are still unconfirmed.

I don't think that there's any service able to do this and also pay for mining fees on top. You could set up a wallet locally and have it programmed to send BTC to an address that converts funds to FIAT as they arrive as a service (using a service like for example Uphold or Mistertango). But mining fees are on you one way or the other.
I think this is the correct answer... Technically, i would solve it by running bitcoind, then create a cronjob: 1 8 * * * bitcoin-cli sendtoaddress "1Myaddressdmfkljsmdfkjsd" 0.001 I would create a bitcoin.conf file in ~/.bitcoin and add following lines: rpcuser=delme rpcpassword=pickyourownpassword txconfirmtarget=144
Transaction fees are a given, the only way around them is by using a service that pays the fee in your place (like coinbase used to do), but by adding txconfirmtarget to your bitcoin.conf, you basically tell your wallet: i'm willing to way 144 blocks for a 95% chance of getting a confirmation. You can change the number of blocks, but remember: most nodes drop unconfirmed transactions from their mempool after 3 days, plus your wallet has no way to look in the future. If the mempool size explodes and a fee bidding war starts, setting to big of a number might result in all your transactions getting dropped from the node's mempool after a couple of days. Do note it might be a good idear to lock your wallet, in this case you have to run a second script to unlock it before issuing a "sendtoaddress"...

Wave of phishing links, impostors and sending other fake escrow information have been massively carried out by the newbie throwaway accounts.Takes efforts to do it from the original high ranked accounts as they lose money if the account is bought or simply the efforts taken while ranking it up.Hence, newbie accounts are an alternative. But what if forum restricts newbies from sending personal messages until they are a Jr.Member ? Would it put a stop on the phishing scams ?
Partially, but it would also stop legit newbies from sending PM's. I've seen loads of people that register on this forum after they run into problems... If we would prohibit such newbies from sending messages, it would stop these new users from asking advice. Isn't there a limit as to how many PM's a newbie can send/hour? Also, the big red warning at the top of their PM's is doing it job (at least, in my case)
