41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my ETH to buy BTC?? on: December 08, 2017, 03:43:27 PM
Before this huge growth on bitcoin, I decided to buy some Ethereum. Since the price of ETH is slowly going down with the growth of the BTC, should I sell my Ethereum to buy Bitcoin again? Thank you in advance, Im new to this!

The ratio of ETH/BTC as around 0.045 couple of days before. Now it decreased very very dramatically down to 0.025 and this is not the right time for selling your eth to get btc. You will get less eth now.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: December 08, 2017, 03:19:04 PM
Hopefully you didnt spend that BTC at the time you started the thread. If you are still holding it by now in your wallet, you must be pretty happy with your gains by now!
Yes, He should have mentioned the specific reason for leaving trading but as he did not, we can easily guess the reason. It would be simply that he is going in loss with trading instead of going into profit. Trading is not his cup of tea or maybe he is facing problems in understanding bitcoin. Trading is not simple as it appears, you really need to work a lot to understand the basic rules of trading.
Lol, These people are really insane if they are promoting gambling or maybe they own some shitty gambling sites or casinos where they ruin the lives of people by showing them some big profits. Gambling is really every evil game and we should stay away from it as much as possible for us. This is really very useless method of making money. Trading is far better than gambling for making decent money.

People are logical and they will not give their precious bitcoins to the gambling platforms, I think. Here, there is no need to quit trading too. Trading is active and you may earn whenever you want as long as you effort to earn from it.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: December 08, 2017, 02:50:37 PM
Well if i were you i would not put all of my money into only one coin. Ethereum will be good you are right but you can make much profit if you put your split your investments in couple of high potential coins.

Placing all the budget in one coin is a horrible idea, and this is very risky. Never do it, try to find at least couple of promising altcoins from the major ones, not the ico ones. This is the most suitable way of investing in altcoins, not only ether.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: December 07, 2017, 08:49:46 PM
I am holding ethereum, byteball, digibyte, monero and ripple at a moment as I feel there will me massive rise in the price in next year and holding even longer can be more profitable.

I have also DGB but I'm in loss with DGB and I'm pesimistic about it actually. Ethereum is very cult, everyone has it for sure. Monero made it over $300 and then dumped a bit below $300 level. Ripple is also my favourite.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: December 07, 2017, 08:28:12 PM
Not all altcoins are being dumped. Some are holding strong their fiat values while loosing in the BTC pairing. This means the community is not dumping them, not only because they support the coin but also because ~50% of the available coins is locked inside masternodes.

These are the ones with a future!

Some of them are being dumped, yet this is not the end of the world. The market conditions favors bitcoin's side now, this is the reason of the pressure on the altcoins. Soon, we'll have a better balanced market and all of the coins will be in harmony.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short-term profit altcoin! on: December 07, 2017, 05:55:35 PM
Hello guys, I am looking to invest some money into an alt coin that will give me short-term profits over the next weeks!

Any suggestions?

Thank you Smiley

IOTA and adex are very volatile and you can make short term profits from them, but they're extremely volatile which may result in big loss as well. Short term profit seeking is not logical all the time honestly.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC correction is happening? on: December 02, 2017, 11:41:24 AM
Hey guys,

Today we saw a momentary pullback on the market but it is recovering now, not completely but almost...
Do you think it will reach the previous highs and move upwards or are we still going to see a correction for the recent bull run?

What are your thoughts?

here we go again with this fcvkin correction thing.  this correction thing has been discuss all the time and we cant still see it. so i guess theres no really correction that will happen to bitcoin because the value seems unpredictable and verry volatile, it keeps moving from time to time and the value is totally unstable.

ps: though im not really sure what does correction means.

Is there anything in the currency world that is not volatile ? Have you ever been into stocks trading ?
Even fiats in the Forex market are volatile; the only difference is that fiat is a controlled environment while bitcoin is an uncontrolled, decentralized environment.

Do not get too comfy bro, because there is nothing that goes up that does not at one point come back down to test support, and that is correction. You just have to get used to it.

This is the main reason why people pay attention to crypto markets as a shinny star of the economical order. The volatility plays an important role here. For bitcoin, I don't think the correction is totally finished. New one will come soon.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect - Is there any chance for BitConnect to fail? on: December 02, 2017, 11:24:12 AM
I saw a youtube video about bitconnect the other day. And it's something like a bitconnect conference in Thailand now I am pretty sure it is a ponzi like One coin

The question of the thread creator made me laugh honestly, bitonnect thing is 100% a scam with a certain ponzi scheme. Please stop asking like if it could fail, it's already failed with ponzi system.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amount to start trading? on: December 01, 2017, 10:44:58 PM
Actually, you can start trading with any amount. However, if you are a new comer, let begin with a small fund, it will help you learn all things before getting profit

Yes, this is the best thing about the trading that there is no minimum or maximum amount to trade.  A newcomer can trade with very little amount to get the know how of bitcoins while an experienced trader can invest as much as he can if he sees that he can be able to get a lot of profit from the certain trade.

The minimum starting point should be $1000 at least so that the effort worth your time consumption on exchange platforms. Less than this amount wouldn't work simply.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment on Altcoins on: December 01, 2017, 10:22:24 PM
So, when I started reading on this forum, I got curious about alt coins. So my questions is, what alt coins are a better investment? How to start investing (assuming I have 500 US dollars) on the altcoins that you suggested?

Besides altcoins, bitcoin and bitcoin forks are more safe. Actually stay away from bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold, but get bitcoin instead of altcoins. Altcoins are vulnerable these days for their low prices.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which makes sense to buy a bitcoin or to buy a altcoin? on: November 29, 2017, 12:11:32 AM
I want to buy altcoin or bitcoin for investment purposes before January
Which one do you recommend to buy?
Or some bitcoin and some altcoin?
If i were you, ill split it and buy 40% of my money to bitcoin 20% for ethereum and the rest ill use it to invest to some promising ICO
I have worries about ICO, i have difficulty finding reliable ICO
But you're right about ethereum and bitcoin

By saying altcoins, we generally don't mean those new ICO tokens. We mean those common altcoins with a history in the market. The selection is up to you because you're the only one that will know your own risk management.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: November 28, 2017, 08:43:51 PM
Let me tell you some about my previous trading experience:

June:
Earning = $600
Loss = $800
Net = -$200

July:
Earning = $950
Loss = $225
Net = $725

August:
Earning = $750
Loss = $650
Net = $100

As you see, it's really hard to have steady profit from trading.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA Lambos at the End of the year 2018! on: November 28, 2017, 08:06:46 PM
IOTA price now        = 1,25 USD
IOTA price END2018 = 50,00+ USD

IOTA Lambos at the End of the year 2018!

Don't joke yourself with impossible expactations please. Here, 50 times increase would be impossible for IOTA man. The most optimistic prediction is about $2 in the late 2018. It's always better to be realistic.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum At The End Of 2017 on: November 28, 2017, 07:55:08 PM
Ethereum has been very stable for a whole time. This new price increase is not a fluke at all. Ethereum platform is actually been use and ethereum is creating value. We may see $500 and beyond!

I agree. Eth has maintained its price point in that value margin for quite some time, although, based on my observation that the trend that affects its increase is not very reliable. I think there is a high chance for it to reach higher than 500 because the bitcoin, which is most of the time correlative with altcoin value is reaching an all time high.

I disagree with this perspective, ethereum still has that potential to make the expected boom and when it does, we won't able to buy ethereum. The price will go up with extremely high speed and reach $1000.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: November 25, 2017, 04:46:53 PM
You should try gambling but don't get addicted to it or you will lose all your coins, then try to do some trading also for example you go buy and sell like you will sell it with an added price but you bought it low. Or you should just go try investing then wait patiently.

I can tell you not to waste your money in gambling, never. In gambling, you will lose your bitcoins 100% clearly. No need to give your pocket money to other gambling platform owners.

Trading is the best to increase btc amount.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC price 100 USD? on: November 23, 2017, 04:14:14 PM
Well its around 70-80 dollars now so i think that it has the potential to go over 100 dollars. Litecoin is also in the top 10 coins so its a trusted and a safe coin.

I know a lot of friends that are also investing in litecoin, but i have some in my wallet.

It's not a hard task for litecoin to be $200 in near future. People having spare money, need to invest in litecoin so that they may get nice profit from it's rise in the market. The price of ltc is likely to go up depending on the china markets.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why etherium is rising significantly? on: November 23, 2017, 03:46:37 PM
Hype over upcoming upgrade in eth network is quite high that will upgrade eth to pos that can be one of the reason behind the current pump.

Other than this many bitcoin holders might have converted their bitcoin to ethereum for quick profit.

I think there will be some correction before it can pump over $500.

I think similarly with you, there may be a correction action before it goes to $500 soon. Upcoming upgrade will change ethereum blockchain significantly and this is why people are getting in ethereum. They know eth platform will be more profitable after pos transation.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: November 23, 2017, 03:27:13 PM
i am kinda new to Cryptocurrency .
i am going great in stocks. its really technical and fundamental kinda investments
as i see Cryptocurrency its alot more easy to invest and forget
should i shift to Cryptocurrency and start investing without tension and stress?

For me it is better to have both Stocks and Crypto. Putting all investments in one basket is risky. So better to weigh in which of the two can earn more income.

In stocks, it is regulated by the Government and you have physical proof that you have placed your money to stock. The income takes too long and depends on the market rate as compared to crypto.

In Crypto, this is very risky that you cannot identify what will happens next. The trend of price is very unpredictable sometimes it goes up and  down that happens in an hour. This can also gives you a high return on investments in an instant but too risky.

I therefore conclude that it is better to have both investments so that you will have back up if the other one incur losses.

If you have enough investment capital, you can invest in both at the same time. This lowers the risk of losing money and you'll have be getting profits from the real world companies working all around the world.

But, crypto coins are also needed in your portfolio.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dash or Ethereum? on: November 23, 2017, 03:04:30 PM
From one of the quote it is clear that both ethereum and dash has shown similar growth percentage. Maybe this will continue to grow in the similar manner. Based on that both seems to be good for a better profiting. Only way is to split the investment amount equally.

I'll say both. Ethereum follows dash's trend and they move together along the other altcoins in the market.

If dash is going to upper prices, ethereum follows it as well. We saw this from the last price results. Ethereum did hit $400 as a new era for itself.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: help me to make a portfolio under $1000 on: November 21, 2017, 10:50:27 PM
Main options include:

Cloud mining on sites like hashnest (watch out for ponzis and other scam sites though).

Investments in trading bots or online casinos to get a good profit.

Also, you can lend for colateral.

You're saying cloud mining scams as a legendary member, that's unusual. It's very well known that so called cloud mining websites are totally scams. Online casinos are places to lose money obviously.

With $1000 or amounts under this, I would get some ethereum in long run.
