Dangers inside crypto investing
People may ask: Should I do invest in the cryptocurrencies by using my life earning and savings? Or should I take a loan out? Since I heard that the returns are so great!”

First off, that is really an extremely horrible idea. Cryptocurrency volatility can kill your pocket and rapidly reduce all your hard-earned investments.

Read : https://paperblockchain.com/what-are-the-dangers-in-cryptocurrency-investing/
No, you are wrong. That is not dangerous that is risking your money from the investment of highly volatile and that is how bitcoin works.
First, always remember to set an amount that you can afford, I mean not your all money inside the pocket and after a week you worry about the daily needs in your family. Invest that you can afford and willing to wait even how many years before you can get profit. The amount that you invested in bitcoin were never lost only the value between dollars and the bitcoin. If you can wait for a long time until bitcoin become expensive then, for sure your profit was there.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or Bear season for crypto? on: September 26, 2019, 08:50:22 PM
If someone knows I am pretty assured we are all in a good wealth now. I don't know what tools we are going to use in identifying what will happen next, a bull run or remain in a bear market. Even though how expert on TA will also have a mistake(a majority of them). Here is my conclusion that it will remain bear market, I have a strong feeling of doubt of what is the reason in a sudden dip on this week because on launching BAKTT. More investors or whales transfer their investment. IMO. Well, don't mind it because that is a cause of wild imagination, always bear in mind that only strong hand will have a better future and get massive profits for those who will wait for a long run.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 26, 2019, 08:34:15 PM

Philippines is one of the most crypto friendly countries around the Southeast Asia, I'm sure that it's just a matter of time when operators of this so called "Sabong" would venture and accept BTC as payment scheme.  Grin

I doubt that. Philippines might be crypto friendly, but the cockfighting peeps may not. Most of these people are clever, they want "money down" first attitude. So they'll probably prefer fiat than Bitcoin, and most of them probably still dont have any idea how Bitcoin works. Might not work for the mediocre cockfighting gamblers, but will consider to those big time gamblers who place huge bet every match, where usually are those government officials and businessmen.
Exactly, they are crypto-friendly users but cockfighting live is only for fiat. I never heard that they use bitcoin for cockfighting in a live fight but who knows on that OP showed online gambling site cockfighting feature will use crypto soon. Because it is very popular here in the Philippines in using crypto and not only by that even the central bank was recognized bitcoin is a form of the payment system. No doubt and probably time will come to all gambling online must be based on cryptocurrency which is because it is very convenient to use.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone use an exchange to shift $1.2 Billion worth of bitcoins? on: September 26, 2019, 08:09:16 PM
you can move any sum of money from and to any exchange once you have it and can pay for the fee required with necessary requirement by the exchange , less i forget that the crypto is for decentralisation .

You did get what the OP means, Op figures out that this big-time withdraw that may cause of the drastically drop of bitcoin price at this moment and probably that big transaction was made by the whales. Just like they are trying to manipulate the market. Or some of the reason he was trying to move his bitcoin for the BAKKT purposes. No one really knows regarding that huge transaction, but one thing that I can suggest. Hold as long as you can and wait this dipshit will end.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CryptoBets on Online Games on: September 26, 2019, 07:17:40 PM
I was about a little curious if there are already existing betting platforms that includes official online games such as DOTA 2, League of Legends, Mobile Legenda, etc. As far as I know rocket.run once introduced that they will be having that kind of feature on their website but as I visited them again earlier it seems that they didn't continue on that kind of feature.

Sportsbetting are really quite known here but I haven't heard any of Online Games, besides I'm a gamer whose also fond of watching tournaments.
You can use up those popular bookies as of this moment like Nitrogen, sportsbet, onehash etc. yet they are offering e-sports betting.
Have some times to visit out those bookies and you will surely find it.

Ex.
https://www.onehash.com/category/e_sport/
I think all OP needs has been mentioned at the earlier in the replies above, all I can see are those redundant answers which are I also wanted to reply. Probably Op's queries now will give him/her satisfaction in knowing e-sports betting in an e-sportsbook. If you were going to ask me Sportsbet is the place to go. They had different betting on e-sportsbook betting. Indeed, if you are not like the user interface of the gambling site you can move into other another gambling site.
46  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: September 26, 2019, 07:06:15 PM
Also, I want to concentrate on this great wagering contest with 0.3 BTC prize pool. I'm taking the 49th place currently.

Wish me good luck. Smiley
Hope you will hit even in the 5th place, I try also to wager but I realized that there are too many of them who can I compete. That prize pool is a quite huge amount and that is very tempted to join. Probably it must have a big amount of capital to wager. However, good luck to those who participate in the contest. My guess 49th place is not so far, you have still a chance since this is a first day of the contest and there are two days more to go.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of dice website that have wagering/special contest? on: September 26, 2019, 06:54:57 PM
no no, I also open to all kinds of wagering contest, the first thing I need to know is the site. How long its run is just the second factor. So yolo have wagering contest too?
They don't start the wagering contest regularly but whenever they do they announce it through newsletter and their wagering contest prizes are usually tempting.

I got message on my registered Gmail account on them that they had a wagering contest, but this is only for full-time gamblers because I can't join due to fully loaded work in real life. So far,  as far as I know on Windice thread here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5116500 this is the first contest(correct me if am wrong). Good to see if Windice gambling site is being apart on your list that having wagering contest.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 8 Ball Pool game against live players worldwide - is gambling available? on: September 26, 2019, 06:44:36 PM
It's indeed sad that no crypto gambling website has included this game in their list!
Because this game is not favored on them, this game will have an advantage on us. Billiard game is so easy and yes it is based on skill game. In the P2P version, I think they also not get a good revenue on this so they did not include this gamble games on other feature games like dice, roulette, and cards games which very common. IMO. But probably this game will have if someone having an effort to develop this game and apply it into blockchain technology.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 26, 2019, 12:31:54 AM
In sports betting this usually happens. Sometimes I checked first the team and had quick research before having a bet. Picking odds that against the majority of high pickers for me it's like having a low chance of winning. But sometimes we need to stand our decision in having our own odds based on our research on the team that we pick. If we feel that the team we pick has a great potential to win even it has against the majority, then, go on.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 25, 2019, 11:56:26 PM
That's the dream but the chances of that happening is almost zero, the big gambling sites are already profiting from their traditional currency based system, i don't see any reason then diverting into the cryptocurrency system unless the industry achieve world wide adoption which isn't happening anything soon. Majority or all of the online gambling site can only be cryptocurrency based if  currency like bitcoin gets recognized as a whole currency. So until we have achieved that goal, this is just impossible.
Probably it will happen but it takes time to that dreams could be true. Well, as I noticed that the companies who are continuing emerging now are these gambling sites. The number of companies that still growing right now is in the gambling industry. I have a doubt that all online gambling companies will only accept cryptocurrency because it is easy and reliable to use. However, since it is online gambling the possibility of using cryptocurrency is a high chance.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regret In Changing A Bet Have You Experienced on: September 25, 2019, 11:33:44 PM
We are all experienced on that regret while we are in gambling, that is a very common feeling that we feel while having decision especially if we are having hesitation while betting or choosing to bet. The important thing is you know how to accept losses if ever and move on when it comes. Stop blaming someone else or even your self, instead, smile and always remember those mistakes that will not happen again. Always remember that gambling is for fun whatever you decision made just go and let it be.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: September 23, 2019, 07:53:37 PM
Yes investors are the real reason behind the increasing and decreasing of bitcoin price. When people will make plan to invest for long term so they will take market high but when number of investments will be lower than number of selling market price will itself go down we only should try to keep the phrase graph higher than selling.
I doubt that not only investors but also those big whales who are trying to manipulate the market and the reason the price of bitcoin had experienced extremely fluctuation and sometimes drastically down and after a week it has surged back into the market. This is the whole concept of bitcoin price that has a strong fluctuation and I think there's nothing to worry if you are a long-term holding. Don't invest in bitcoin if you don't understand how it works and if you invested for short term is very risky.
Instead of listening whales better take advantage of this fluctuation and buy some coins at low price we should buy at low price and sell high this is the only good way to have benefits of crypto coins. Whales are also the reason as they have an aim to make the market down so people will sell their coin to them at cheap price it’s really a bad act.
Every good investor is doing this, we are in this market and we know the nature of cryptocurrencies it fluctuates so it’s time to take advantage from a disadvantage, whales also dumps the market so they can buy at low price we should also but when the market falls. After some months again things will be normal so we will be able to sell gain at high price but at red only holding is the solution.
No choice on this but to hold or cut our losses, just like what happened right at this moment. Bitcoin has been dumping right now and I don't know what the reason it is, just because of BAKKT or just a normal and a part of fluctuation. Yeah right, you can actually ride the whale's strategy if you know how it works. When the market becomes dumped price you can buy more bitcoin. The fact is, only strong hands will have benefits during the market price was dumped.
53  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: I am not receiving my authorization email from blockchain.com | Hushmail on: September 23, 2019, 07:43:02 PM
@stomachgrowls: I didn't receive the email. So I decided to create an Electrum desktop wallet by importing the seed.

Thanks for all of your advices guys.
This is a good decision of yours, just avoid web wallet because this is also high risk and you don't have your own private key.
For free wallet, the safest wallet, as of now is electrum if you have a clean PC to install. Here is the right link and make it sure you did not download a phishing link of electrum wallet. https://electrum.org/#download
54  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betmatch.io on: September 23, 2019, 06:43:22 PM
Sounds dumb but there were really people who are fan on betting into unknown places which come to think that there are more better options to take.
And end up on this forum asking advise or help. They know this forum that already had a good gambling site and those reputed one running for how many years without major customer complaint and negative feedback. Obviously, that gambling site is an unfamiliar name and you should know the possible risk that might be you encounter. Well, it seems Betmatch.io has not had a negative review yet probably OP need to communicate the staff or owner on that gambling site.
55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet..Paypal..No Bank Account on: September 20, 2019, 07:45:21 PM
I'm trying to see if someone can help me with my dilemma? I have money in an offshore account. It is in the form of Bitcoins. I am old-school when it comes to the new technology etc and this is Greek to me lol! But I am told that I have to take the Bitcoins that I already have in the Offshore Acctand [1]. I have to put them in an online wallet. My problem is I do not have a bank account and I cannot set one up for personal reasons that I don't want to go into on here. [2]. What I need help with does anyone know of an online wallet that I can set up with no bank account and have my PayPal account (debit card) tied in to that wallet so that I can make withdrawals on my PayPal card? This may be something that cannot be done? I do not know? If anyone can give me some inside I would greatly appreciate this!
[1]. Don't use online wallet or even a web wallet. Just use hardware wallet and if you don't want to spend money on buying a hardware wallet you can install electrum in your clean PC. Here, https://electrum.org/#download.
[2]. Majority of all bitcoin wallet now in our local must you verify it first, unless if you are have something like suspicious.

Furthermore, in the explanation just look at this link, https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/do-i-need-a-bank-account,-debit-card,-or-credit-card-to-set-up-my-money-pool-faq3603
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My gambling strategy on: September 20, 2019, 07:17:26 PM
It is just that you got lucky with your strategy. Strategies are just a sort of gamblers fallacy. In the long run you are bound to lose to the house due to the house edge. Try running your auto bet setting for more than 2/3 days, you will see that you have lost everything you had. It is better to cash out your coins as soon as you are on the green side of your balance.
With auto betting you always lose everything if you don`t stop it on time. With auto betting I didn`t win anything, in the long run, I have much more loses, all amount loses than with regular gambling, that`s why I stopped using it.
I wonder will OP share one information, the longest losing streak at 1.8 bet. I would like to know that.
You can expand your streak if you have set into 99% chances of winning against the house edge. Actually, there's no strategy may apply f you are in dice gambling, it is based on luck that you must have if you are in gambling. Speaking of auto bet I won't agree on this kind of strategy, I prefer on manual rolling dice and I can adjust which % of winning that you can possible to lose the house edge. Even strategy gambling game is also base on your luck.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 20, 2019, 07:06:01 PM
[snip]

Over time cryptocurrency will be increasingly popular and widely known by the general public, and can encourage various types of online gambling sites that are able to implement cryptocurrency to facilitate users betting using crypto. if all online gambling can implement it, there will be more people who want to feel the sensation of gambling using cryptocurrency, of course it can encourage the growth of the value of crypto itself
If you also had noticed here in the forum, there is a lot of gambling platforms that almost every day launching in gambling section. So, I guess the time that OP said that the time comes online gambling sites are all accepting bitcoin or cryptocurrency as payment will become true. However, this is my personal opinion and base on my research gamblers are always afraid of using fiat in gambling due to the reason of afraid in having KYC verification.

59  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: September 20, 2019, 06:47:33 AM
There will probably be more news about the contest, I mean considering it is a wagering contest more often than not there is two options they could go with it. Either the 0.3 is gonna be given to the winner who will wager the most, or the 0.3 prize pool will be divided between the first 3-5-10 whatever. Does it worth it?
If the whole prize is given to winner of the first place, many of other gamblers will give up soon as they think they cannot compete with that person. It's better to divide the prize among more people. It makes the contest more exciting.

Yes thats right giving to one person who gets the most wager is not advisable its better to divide to 3  or 5 person to attract more player to join this contest just my opinion, maybe we need to wait for more detail regarding this contest.
It could be more interesting if there are 3-5 users will be the winner, not just only one. It hards to compete and hoping to get the prize pool fund if we know that only one who will be chosen. But we respect and wait for the further announcement regarding this contest and gladly to know if there is an update regarding this matter. Good luck to those who compete with the contest.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin getting global adoption from this statement by central bank governor? on: September 20, 2019, 06:17:56 AM
This is another nation trying to adopt the blockchain technology through creating their own cryptocurrency, the problem is the fact that this cryptocurrency is to be controlled by the central bank which doesn't make it decentralized, which it ought to be to make it a form of digital currency that would grant the freedom they claim it will have.
If I am not mistaken Ripple is one of those who controlled by the bank now and they are not decentralized. the fact that government wanted to control Bitcoin but they cant makes it centralized. Instead, they are making their own cryptocurrency that under by their control and use the blockchain technology behind on this cryptocurrency they made. I think it brings fast exposure on bitcoin and has massive adoption with that statement.
