The price and order book begin to improve and look quite nice.

Semux is a project with solid development and I'm quite bullish on the future of SEM Smiley

A few directions to improve Tezos by Arthur Breitman
https://medium.com/@arthurb/a-few-directions-to-improve-tezos-15359c79ec0f

Good to see AB is thinking about improving consensus, namely talking about using BFT.
BFT is far superior and it provides one of the best features in blockchain systems: transaction finality after ONE confirmation. Once a transaction is in a block that is it - confirmed.

This would suit Tezos very well and you can already see BFT technology working successfully in Semux.

I just came across this coin. Can someone explain to me what the value is of holding a WGR coin? How can you be the house?

There's loads of information on the official website: https://wagerr.com/
Please read there and be impressed!

You can download the current wallet from here: https://github.com/wagerr/wagerr/releases/tag/v2.0.1

All works beautifully and you can bet on real events on the blockchain NOW Smiley

Very impressive numbers and % of growth.
On top of this Kraken listing - very very good Smiley

Notable is the improvement in SEM prices after the signature campaign has been finalized in advance! The market is just waiting for the second release with Semux virtual machine and ready, the price above 10k will be formed! I'm being realistic and just analyzing the chart, if I'm optimistic, just with a Bittrex to see something like 22k again in the short term again! Smiley

Can't wait for Smart Contracts!!!
Semux is looking good everyday. we need list semux on the best exchange
smart contracts will not affect the price during a bear market.

That's completely incorrect.  Look at Dero.  It has currently risen to $1+ in the bear market on the back of imminent smart contract release.  Agree semux needs to get onto more and better exchanges.
Lets be clear - their smart contract release had no impact on price, nobody will use the tech yet lol

What if I use it?

Can i stake with Tezbox light wallet?

This one is interesting:

https://bakechain.github.io/

"Bake blocks on the Tezos blockchain with our simple to use multi-platform desktop application. Enjoy the intuitive and beautiful interface, without the hassle of working with the complex command line tool.
HOW IT WORKS
BakeChain works by analysing the blockchain and signing bakes and endorsements. All your private keys are stored locally, encrypted and secured within the native key store of your operating system."

"Please note that all community organizations will be issued a standard grant amount from the Tezos Foundation."

Does anyone know how much is the standard grant amount?

@orogvany_mobile
Weekly update time
Testnet back up!  I have some commits in vm.  Ran into issue with calling methods in contracts, filed bug.  Something's off and we don't have testing for it.  But work goes on. Trying to get erc20 token example running on devnet
May take a break to look at seed node connection leak or fix the issue folks are having with Windows boxes and our system analysis...
----------------------------------------- end
next on the table  on VM development
Hash out txs, tx fees, gas pricing reqs
development has slowed down a bit since @orogvany_mobile has been busy with his day job and @semux just got out of surgery and is recovering
will pick up the pending development as soon as possible
@honeycrypto is busy organizing marketing and scouting next exchange listing
all timeline is up to date based on the roadmap

Thanks for the update. You guys are doing a great job. I wish @semux a quick recovery and return to good health.

Findings regarding the xel components #2 by Any1: https://gist.github.com/any1dot/0ce78d0c7bd8be13a0b660d2dd574430

(there are some donation adresses there, the guy is working quite hard, give him a tip if you can afford it)

is really this entire project development by only one person? If so this is really amazing!

He is talking about a reasonably new XEL community member "Any1" which is making a great job with organizing the community around various tasks to make XEL a better project. There's quite a lot going on on Discord and Slack, so come join Smiley
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: October 02, 2018, 07:52:51 PM
WGR is now being listed on a new Chinese exchange - Quncoin.  They are quite supportive of our end goal - a trustless betting solution, and this listing could very well be mutually beneficial for all involved.

More info can be found here, with one of the articles covering the WGR listing specifically - https://quncoin123.zendesk.com/hc/zh-cn

Thanks for the link but it's kinda useless for me because it's in Chinese...
Anyway... any new exchange is good and China is a big market  Smiley.

I looked at the use of online wallet. It needs to fill in the private key information and password. Is it so safe?

Never trust on 3rd party wallet especially in that case when you have to put your password and private key. This is really dangerous it could bring dangerous results in future. Have patience soon we will get trusted wallet which will provide more security.
tezbox.com - a wallet developed by an well known and respected Tezos developer Stephen Andrews. The wallet has been through an audit funded by Tezos Foundation. Its safety
Is the Tezbox wallet safe and usable for getting XTZ from the fundraiser? I still haven't claimed my Tezzies, maybe it's a good time to do it right now.
Yes it is. Galleon is safety too. This wallets has been through an audit funded by Tezos Foundation.

I don't feel too safe either. Officials haven't had a valid wallet or a Foundation-certified wallet. The worry now is whether the coin will disappear if it's not activated and baked.

Nothing should disappear because the allocations are in the Tezos genesis block.

It seems that over 90% of the discussion here is about the price and surroundings, but very little about developement issues and roadmap, which in my view  would be much more interesting subjects of discussion.

becouse many people don't have the know-how to partecipate actively at develop some are investor so they think at money, some work on marketing area and think about at this aspect of the project.. personally  i check the github page for see te progress of the development.---->

edit: and I've never been disappointed

Like was already stated above technical discussion happens on github and the Semux Discord development channel.

I hold 666 coins  Grin
Haha, will that number bring you luck? Tongue Anyway, I'm glad that the signature campaign will end! As some have said here, there will be no more dump and Q4 already starts next week! Who sold the 3300 sat should be a little regret? Roll Eyes

I am amazed to see how short-sighted everybody here is, reading the comments. Everybody happy for the signature campaign to stop just because they think THIS is the reason of the price to drop. So everybody is happy that less people will learn about Semux, as if THIS would benefit the value of the coin. Since nobody is seemingly understanding what crypto is - or should - be about, I'm amazed this castle of cards is still standing.

the only best thing will be the vm and new exchange.. and yes the signature now it's only a way for dump every week.. for example also if the signature end, i don't leave it from my profile

Why are real Semux entusiasts afraid of Bounty Hunters dumping? Is this project so weak that it must be afraid of a few coins getting on the market? Are people here so desperate about the price instead of developement?
I first thought this project is cool, but after observing these behaviors in the community - starting from the team, which is ending the campaign now for obvious fears about those mini-dumpers - I am not so sure any more.

Don't judge the whole project by few idiots.

The Tezos Grantee Spotlight is intended to help the Tezos community understand why each grant is important and what it will ultimately accomplish for the ecosystem. The first installment of this series features Obsidian Systems. The team is focused on developing software solutions for baking on the Tezos network, but they have aspirations to do much, much more.
