Question on the profit calculations...
Currently Zergpool is showing at MTP $1.17 Revenue for one of my profiles with 75% actual payout. Straight ZCoin on that same profile shows $1.06.
My question is, is the displayed $1.17 post ($1.56 orig) or pre ($0.8775) 75% actual?
I'm hoping it is post because otherwise it seems to me that AM should be selecting to mine straight ZCoin..
When you have 75% actual payout, the value you see in the Revenue column and Profit column have already been lowered to 75% of what the pool is reporting. If the pool reports $1.56, Awesome Miner will display $1.17. The profit switcher works the same way. It will consider the Zergpool MTP revenue to be $1.17 in this case. If ZCoin revenue is $1.06, it will be considered less profitable by the profit switcher. Excellent, thank you

I guess I'm old and jaded at this point. I don't see this succeeding when other coins have the same capabilities either entirely (burst/sia) or as a feature of an already greater feature set (PIRL)

How is filecoin different than the many other similar sounding projects out there..?

I have been doing lots of tax research on this and can tell you if you are USA based and move your coins around multiple exchanges and accounts you may end up with an insane amount of paperwork for very little profit
We're so free it's amazing.. for a system the IRS admits is voluntary

This bug is pissing me off to no end but I have no idea where the fault is.. You can see below, the first entry is not show temps, accepts, or hashrate. This effects reports, rules, etc, everything. BUT. The miner is working fine! If I click the console command tab everything is happy, it is running fine. Is anyone else getting the bug where the "total" hashrate line goes empty? Miner seems to be running..

I'm happy I'm not a US citizen/resident. We live in a world where the honest man is usually the one getting it up the poophole, while the rich and powerful have schemes upon schemes to hide money away and not pay taxes. There's a scandal coming up about every three months, everyone's shocked, yet nothing ever changes. The rich get richer.
I'm really looking forward to crypto taking over fiat money. It won't happen tomorrow, but it will, someday. Just like the internet has fundamentaly changed the way we interact with each other. Why do you think they pressure all the big centralized exchanges to force KYC on everyone and ban anonymity/privacy coins? Because they are scared to lose control over their own citizens. Fiat money, your bank account, your credit card, are all ties to centralized systems. Have you tried to live without a bank account? Pretty much impossible...I know in France for example, you can't withdraw more than 1500€ without having to justify why. It's your own money, but you can't do what you want with it. If you're getting a deposit of more than 1500€, the bank will call you because they blocked the deposit, requesting you justify where the funds come from. wtf seriously.
Oh well, I guess I'm becoming a paranoid hippie while I'm getting older :-p
I'm 29 and feel 100% the same...

So after using this software for so many years you'd think I'd know the answer to this.. is there a way to unset a miner highlight after a rule/error is cleared?
For example, if miner does not increase accept progress in 8 minutes it is highlighted yellow. If that then ends up increasing, the miner is rebooted, or the notification is cleared, I would want that highlight to be cleared. BUT I don't want a blanket rule to clear all highlights.. because other highlights might still apply.. I only want to unset the yellow highlight if the accept increases.. does this make sense? Is this possible?

Version 6.7.3 ( Development preview of 6.8 ) Awesome Miner Antminer S9 firmware - Better performance and flexible hashrate and power configuration when mining with Antminer S9 - Integrates with Awesome Miner by providing: LED flash, pause and resume mining in a power efficient way, antivirus scan and apply mining profiles (hashrate and power usage). - The features are available via the ASIC tools menu and as rule actions in Awesome Miner - Display of power usage - SSH access to the Antminer - Mining fee 2% - Awesome Miner can install this firmware even when the Antminer is locked with signature check and SSH is disabled (contact us for instructions) - For more information, see the web site: https://www.awesomeminer.com/antminerfirmware Way cool dude! I don't own any, but awesome to see your rolling your own firmware like that!

It is pretty sad and somewhat depressing.
This is why I rail against the government getting involved in things. They ruin everything.

Have you guys checked out the COSS exchange?

Don't see it mentioned checking a few pages back, will you guys be adding support for the new AMD 5700 soon? I've been reading that the AMD tools for you devs are extremely lacking
We have the cards, but like you write, the toolchain we usually work with isn't fully available yet and the OpenCL stack feels very broken. Compute stuff seems to run fine, but anything requiring mem is a joke. We're working on other things right now, but will of course return in the near future (hopefully) when there is a chance of producing anything of value. Guess I'll just sit and drool over the new cards.. might have to invest in the new nVidia "supers" though..

I would like to make a suggestion for AM. The software should make it easy for us to maximize revenue. The problem that I have now in Spain, in summer, is that of day we reach 40 - 42 degrees and at night between 18-24 degrees Celsius. With which a single OC is not the most appropriate. I have a single OC in each profile and in each al-go.
Right now I have a low OC so that by day it does not exceed 75 degrees, but at night the rigs go down to 50 degrees, since the ambient temperature is not the same. As happens in Spain will happen in other countries, against more tropical but it happens. In the countries of Eastern Europe the change is less noticeable.
Then my suggestion would be that in each profit profile and in each protocol, and optionally to be able to choose 2 OC with two hours of activation, for example
X16R day, 70 tdp 80 core -300 mem, activation time 10:00 X16R night, 85 TDP 100 core -300 mem, activation time 23:00
With which at night I have less environmental temperature to be able to extract more power, and to be able to lower day power. Now I only have 1 OC for the night and the day.
In winter it is less noticeable but also useful, it is not the same 13 degrees of day and -5 at night. I take the air from outside to cool and then I take it out again.
Thanks for the suggestion, I see your point. This will add some complexity to the configuration, so it has to be some kind of advanced mode where you can specify additional conditions. As you point out it has to be per algorithm in the Profit Profile. Ditto to this, would be a nice thing right about now. Gets to about 32C in the day in Ohio but can drop in the low teens easy.
