41  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: April 16, 2018, 06:49:04 PM
How to save money in my opinion is we should be able to separate our money to the tube, we also must be wise in processing our money, every purchase of goods we need in everyday life. Every purchase of goods we should be able to record anything we need , before we shop in the market.

Most of the people complain that they are not able to save sufficient money in order to pay the monthly installments. The primary reason behind this is uncontrolled spending habits. It is more common in younger generation who has started earning recently. These people get tempted by discounts and wholesale offers and end up buying things that they do not even require. It is very important to cut down these expenses so that you can save some money. It will help you to pay all the installments in time so that you can live without any tension.

42  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: April 16, 2018, 06:38:43 PM
Debt is a very painful burden when you take the loan and for that you will pay some interest as well and it is really pressurize for those who are not able to afford the fee and for us the best way to be in the crypto you have to pay some of the interest from this way and in the near future i would like to start part time job also and to pay all my debt as soon as possible.

Debt can come with a number of problems. There can be a number of reasons behind the bad credit history of a person. Some people just loose their jobs and are unable to pay off the loans. On the other hand, bad credit may result from emergency situations like medical needs that put extra burden on the person. If you are having a bad credit history, it would be difficult for you to get approved for a credit card. No bank would like to provide the credit card to a person with bad credit history as it involves risk.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Months to Buy Crypto on: April 16, 2018, 06:34:33 PM
I'm not that experienced and old in crypto, my opinion is the best time to buy is at the end of 2nd quarter and beginning of 3rd quarter because in 4th quarter the price will rise.

I agree to this , in my opinion also April to May is the best time to invest because:

1) In April there is tax filing in USA and most of the people are then ready to invest for the next financial year. This means that demand will increase after April and thus the prices are also expected to shoot up.

2) You should remain invested till November - December and then withdraw. December is again festival season and many people might be selling their holdings to arrange money for party and other stuff.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins to buy? on: April 16, 2018, 06:27:07 PM
I think you should buy XRP only.
because the development of XRPP to date is very good.
and may be more widely used for the banking system

Ripple has got a number of advantages like:

1) It has already got partnerships with banks like Barclays, JP Morgan, Bank of America, UBS, Standard Chartered, Santander and American Express. The developers are trying hard to add more banks and companies to this list.

2) All the ripple transactions are peer to peer which makes it more secure. In case of other coins , there are some chances of failure as well.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do i sell my altcoins? on: April 16, 2018, 06:24:47 PM
At first you should look through Coinmarketcap whether your tokens are there. If yes, look which exchanges trade these tokens and compare tokens' current price with ICO price. Information about operating exchanges is on the token page on Coinmarketcap.
Very often starting prices on exchanges are low so it's better to wait for the green market.

That is a good website  to find information about the exchanges where a particular coin is listed. It only lists reputed exchanges and thus users can trust the website.

Personally, I invest only in the coins that exchange in my country has got listed. There are about 10-15 of such coins in total and it is sufficient for me. I am not in favor of investing in more than 4-5 coins as it becomes really difficult to handle so much work. To invest and make profit, you also have to follow the news related to that coin.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less participants / More participants in Bounty - Which one do you prefer ? on: April 16, 2018, 06:19:21 PM
To me . I always choose the bounties which have less participants , especially is signature campaign . Because , less participants will be more profit

Signature campaigns here offer fixed weekly amount to members and I do not think that it is affected by the total number of members participating.

For instance, for members the pay is like $20 for making 25 meaningful posts in a week. And this pay remains the same whether there are 20 participants in the campaign or the 50. One of the better ways to judge potential profit is based on the length of the campaign. There are some signature campaigns which are running here for years and it makes sense to apply for those.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: April 16, 2018, 06:09:34 PM
Yes, as the need of variety my portfolio and after simply holding BTC for a while, I of course have looked at a few altcoins and bought some!  Grin

I am also investing in alt coins like Ripple.

Ripple has got many advantages like:

1) The transactions are really fast. Currently a transaction takes only 4 seconds to process, in case of other coins this is in minutes or hours.

2) The transaction fee in case of ripple is also way less in comparison to other coins. The transaction fee is about $0.004 per transaction only.

3) Best thing about this coin is that it has already got a number of partnerships with different banks worldwide.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you react to ctyptomarket? on: April 16, 2018, 05:52:38 PM
No, I don’t panic when the market is in red. Since I believe that the coins will go higher, I will hold patiently. Sometimes, when prices start to drop, it is good time for us to buy in more coins.

I am also not worried about the market going green as prices are affected by demand and supply and it is unavoidable. However, I am more concerned about the current stand of my government related to bitcoins.

They have still not made any clear announcement regarding crypto currency in my country which results in lot of confusion in the mind of investors. I would not be surprised if they just announce it as illegal one day without giving us any time to withdraw. That is the only reason stopping me to hold my investments for too long.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experts export bitcoin price to hit $250,000 on: April 16, 2018, 04:04:12 PM
Well I have already read that John McAfee is almost not going to eat anything live, and expects that the price will be even much larger than expected

It was recently reported that he is charging money to mention crypto projects on his Twitter handle. So his intentions on making positive statements about crypto are quite clear now. I suggest people not to fall for the advice being given by so called experts.

It if your hard earned money and thus it is your responsibility to do all the research before investing it any project. Do not get affected by this exaggerated claims or misleading figures without any base.
50  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk ≠ Bitcoin on: April 16, 2018, 12:02:27 PM
I think there is a similarity between bitcointalk and bitcoin. if bitcoin and the crypto market die then the bitcointalk will also disappear

Not necessary, they have already developed sections like alt coins. We have got so many members here that this can be used for any relevant issue. For instance, suppose all crypto die and we have some other alternative taking place of crypto. The admin had to just change the name of sections here and buy a new domain. The forum is then ready to go.

It will already have so many active members ready to explore the new option and discuss about it. It would beat any new forum doing that from scratch.
51  Other / Meta / Re: What is happening to forum after Introducing Merit System? on: April 16, 2018, 11:59:11 AM
Can't we develop some mechanism like Reddit or other forums where every user have equal right of voting on a post.

It is  a good suggestion but the problem is that this can be abused here a lot by creating multiple accounts. The merit system is able to fight against this because new users do not get any merits to abuse at all. Also, the default merits of even higher rank members is spent by now so we are equal.

Now it has become like a system of monarchy Where some members are behaving like a king and announcing like they are throwing food(merit) come and beg to them.

Use ignore option for such users. On an online forum , you will meet different kinds of people, some you do not want to interact to.
52  Other / Meta / Re: [April fools] New new rank requirements on: April 16, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
Oh wow, this was an April fools joke. Completely unexpected, since it involved modifying the code for the whole forum.  Cheesy

I'm glad it was an April fools, because it was just too complicated.

Glad that you realized this was a joke in 16 days. It must be fun playing April Jokes on you then.
53  Other / Meta / Re: Don't give me merit on: April 16, 2018, 11:49:44 AM
Can't believe someone could put out so much effort to write a post this long, with pics they made... and yet the whole thing basically is trash with no value and a poor attempt at reverse psychology.

"Here's how to send merit. But don't give me merit pls. No"

That reverse psychology worked in this case. People try it in different ways but it still works:

1) They break a forum rule and then ask the admin to delete if the post is violating any rule. From inside they know that they are violating the rule, there is no need of making that post if they know that they are breaking rule.

2) A reverse of this is some people post messages on walls like do not throw garbage here and others do the opposite. Smiley
54  Other / Meta / Re: Any advice on how I can earn merit? on: April 16, 2018, 11:46:41 AM
it's hard to get merit points especially if you are new to this forum but post quality and post constractive posts have the chance to give you the merit so you must have a quality post to do before you can claim merit points.

Claim merit points ?

That is wrong choice of words and can be misleading for new members. There is no way , you can claim any merit points here. You are right with the quality part though. A user has to  make good quality posts here and then he can expect merit points from other members. There is still no guarantee of getting merit points as it is up to the members reading the posts and the current available merit points they have. So even if you make exceptional posts, there is no way to claim any merit points for them.
55  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: April 16, 2018, 11:44:10 AM
at some point ,., all i do is to recommend some ideas and point of view understanding,, but how to increase in activity point Smiley

Hard to get what you are asking here exactly but let me try. Are you asking about how to increase your activity ? This requires you to make posts in different activity periods. Activity period is of 14 days and you can see all activity periods start and end date here

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit#gid=1324892580

Maximum you can get in one activity period is 14 activity. Thus suppose you make 16 posts in current activity period. Your activity will be 14. Once you make a post in next activity period , it will become 16+1= 17.
56  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: April 16, 2018, 11:40:12 AM
Hey what to do if you accendently send someone `too much` merit Grin

Pray to god that you do not get negative trust for this. Even the person who is at the receiving end is at danger.

However, it is still difficult to digest that someone can do this accidentally:

1) Currently, when you send merit to a person, it opens a new window and you are asked about merits to send and then to confirm this. Accidental here means you are doing the same mistake twice.

2) This can still be understood if it is your first time or was done when merit system was implemented. But after so many days, it is hard to believe.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Governments Kill Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2018, 03:49:18 PM
The latest news is that the US government is look closely at Bitcoin. A number of governments such as Russia and China are also planning to issue their own digital currencies. They clearly see a financial threat from Bitcoin.

What do you think? Can governments kill Bitcoin and replace it with their own digital/crypto currency?

I do not think that US government will do this. Some of the countries like India have made an statement that they are thinking to launch their own crypto but I do not see much potential there because:

1) Thy are calling crypto bad and thus banning bitcoins. Then if they launch own coins, who will have trust on this hypocritical attitude.

2) Since, they are banning other crypto, what will their coins compete with. I think that it is because of comparison and competition only, bitcoin gained so much popularity.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 09, 2018, 11:06:42 AM
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.

Frankly speaking, I have not read even one in my life. But again, this is mainly because, I do not invest in number of alt coins . I like it to play safe and thus invest only in top 10 coins based on market capital.

There is no need to read whitepaper for those coins as they are already being trusted by some many people worldwide. However, I always follow the news related to the coins I had invested in as it affects the prices and thus my potential returns also.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bountyhunters, be careful with twitter accounts on: April 09, 2018, 11:04:15 AM
Now there are massive blocking of Twitter accounts.
Most often,  block accounts  when you to use mass-following. Blocks is forever!
Also do not use hashtags #ICO #Cryptocurrency etc
Be careful!

What will happen to the campaigns that were paying users for sharing details of their projects using those keywords ? If this is happening for sure, then a lot of users will loose their accounts. I think that this is really illogical on the part of Twitter to introduce such rules. Now they want users to make Tweets as per the companies interest.

This will result in people moving from Twitter to other platforms.Recent reports already suggest that Twitter is dying.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Out of the following alts, which one do you believe in the most? on: April 09, 2018, 11:00:24 AM
As much hate as ripple gets, I think it has the most real world applicable use among those coins.

I agree to this, it has already got a number of associations made with leading banks and this is a confirmation of the fact that it will always be in circulation. Other coins are growing just based on speculation but the people behind ripple are doing real work.

Also, we should observe that the current price for Ripple is just $0.5, it is an absolute bargain at this prices. Some people count giving coins to banks in discount as demerit but it it required to boost growth initially.
