41  Other / Meta / Re: New Forum Categories on: March 24, 2018, 09:11:15 PM
I do not see a place for suggesting them, or for a process to implement them.

However, it would be nice to see a handful of more forum categories to be able to easily discuss more topics.

  • General Coding - PHP, Java, Mobile Development, etc
  • Technology - Windows, Linux, Mobile, upcoming, builds, etc
  • Gaming
  • ETC

This is a Bitcoin forum and it has plenty of informations and discussions more or less related to the main topic, adding such general topics section would be a further distraction to forum's users.

I disagree with such suggestion, there are so many others forums where you can find discussions about the topics you said.

Nice one, going to try it out. Hating those load times of bct large images even with a 100mbps connection.
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO GET an ICO announcement being discussed here? on: March 24, 2018, 12:37:57 PM
Hello Citizens, we have recently launched  a topic here with our ICO announcement https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3125992, and we thought it would get some interest and people will start to ask questions and give opinions and so on. But the topic just desapears in a history after a while with no attention. Any thoughts on how more interest in the topic can be achieved?

Seems you still have a lot ot understand how crypto marketing works...  Grin
44  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can these exchanges be trusted? on: March 23, 2018, 10:23:34 PM
Check my list, almost every exchange here is safe to deposit, trade and withdrawal. Never leave your coins there overnight tho, first rule of crypto security.

Hi, I've received two transactions (about 0.45 and 0.8 BTC) while I wasn't looking at my wallet with a difference of 5 hours. The transactions were sent as payments of my services from a customer. The transactions instantly were forwarded to some unknown to me addresses even though my computer was turned off at that time. The first transaction was forwarded even before it got confirmed in electrum. The client sent transactions from Binance.

Here's my wallet: https://blockchain.info/address/1HSnJR4qm3TT8FPgy9BRthYDLh1fcKGNPp

Screenshot of transactions:

The second wallet was previously mentioned in scam accusations.

Now I'm not sure if I should release the services to the client or what to do. Please advise what would be the right decision.

note: I haven't used the wallet in over a month

Where did you downloaded the wallet from? Can you provide more infos on this point?
Are you 100% sure that you downloaded the Electrum wallet from ELECTRUM.ORG ? How did you arrive in Electrum's website? Was by clicking in a link that you find while searching on Google?

This is not the first time someone comes here saying that he downloaded Electrum, sent some coins and they were sent to a different address. In almost all cases, the user either downloaded a fake Electrum from a similar website which ads were showing on Google or he had a malware on his computer. This is 99.9% not Electrum's fault.

I've got it from official electrum website. Version is 3.0

This is the only legit link where to download electrum: https://electrum.org/#download

However actual version is 3.1.1

Nice hint, thank you.  Smiley

Awesome. It would be good if you move it speadsheet cause it is easy to filter and search data there.

I noticed promising crypto exchange lccx.io that is launching ICO soon. It will be based in London.

Nice idea too, will do when the list will have around 50 exchanges or so. Thanks for your suggestion tho.

Hello Everyone,

Greetings for the season.

I am Newbie to Bitcointalk forum and I am learning it.

Today I saw my Profile and it shows 0 Merit.

I tried to search across but the one which I found is you need to post good & quality content.

My view is to answer or join any discussion you need to be subject matter expert of should have some kind of knowledge of it then only you can add value? Correct me if I am wrong.

Can you help me what are the ways & means I can build my reputation within bitcointalk forum as I am new to Cryptoworld and I am learning it in bit and pieces.

Looking forward for community guidance & help.

Thanks for your time.

55  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I give Someone Green Trust? on: March 20, 2018, 09:43:38 AM
You can give trust to anyone you like but you should not abuse the system.
Trust should only be given to someone after that between you and your counterpart happened something who built trust between you and him/her.
In example you can leave trust if you buy something from an user and he delivers exactly and smoothly what he promised or vice versa, or if you received some sort of help where you risked something valuable and an user sorted that out without scamming you or trying to do it.

56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will happen with our account if we have a lot activity but don't have merit on: March 20, 2018, 09:39:37 AM
You NEED merit to rank up when you reach the min level of activity to step toward the next higher rank.
Only way to gain merit is doing constructive posts, thread, help the community and the BTC ecosystem.

Cheers.

I'M PROUD TO SAY TO YOU ALL THAT I'M OFFICIALLY THE PORN CEO OF THE WHOLE WORLD.
Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

Nicely done sir.  I have scratched your back with some merit, now please scratch mine with a lifetime membership to every porn site in the world.  Smiley

(Note:  Quickseller, this is a joke and should not be construed as selling merit)

Sure Vod, I'll reserve a subdomain pointed at vod.porn.ceo so you will own the same rights & power like me in the PORN galaxy.

Just tell the pornhub support your name is parked on that subdomain and they'll know what to do.  Cool

Cheers.

(Note: Quickseller, I really deserved that merit, i mean I'M THE PORN CEO, yaknowwhatImean?)

I know that you are shivering in fear after reading the name of QS, better make a qs.porn.ceo , akin to the one for Vod to avoid getting negged. Wink

P.S. : I only watch softcore.

Softcore is still porn, isn't it?
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: I AM THE PORN CEO NOW! on: March 19, 2018, 09:08:32 PM
Vanity domain name is just an expensive toy for squatters. The content is more important. Even obscure .onion address was more valuable like silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

I AM THE PORN.CEO.

STOP.
