Hi, I can only mine on Nicehash. I tried Zergpool, Ahashpool and Zpool. But after a while hash goes to 0. Nonce submit on/off makes no difference. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

On Nicehash i become in 24H 0.00015274 BTC. @11.600 USD/BTC round about 1,77 USD.
Calculated my X10 on a G28 on Zergpool I made 0.00021196 BTC on August 7th Mining Qubit only. Same day I made 6.32 Groestl on suprnova which equals 0.0001382816 BTC. Zpool measurements were not reliable since I had to run non profitable algos due to heat the last days. But now I put them on Qubit to compare to Zergpool. Next day on Zergpool for a G28 on Qubit: 0,000239596 BTC Zpool made 0,00007466 with profit switch. Groestl only 0,00006312 BTC.

I measured with Baikal X, but since they have the same algos and its only about which pool is best, it will do the same: Nicehash pays roughly 0,75$ per BKX per day with Profit switch, but mainly it was Qubit. Suprnova on Groestl made roughly 0,60$ per BKX per day on only Groestl. No autoexchange, based on the price of Groestl today. Zpool (measured with G28 and calculated to the hashrate of a BKX) gave me 0,45$ per day with profit switch, but without qubit as algo. I observed with stock settings, it switches quite often the algo.
I will continue testing.

Yeah, Awesomeminer might be an option.
I have the feeling that the profit switching might not be such a good option since ramping up takes some time. It seems that diff is also reevaluated on each switch.
I am testing at the moment Nicehash vs. pure groestl on suprnova without autoexchange. To be correct, I might test it also with Qubit only.
Be careful since Nicehash also reports much higher profits than it actually pays out.
If you can report some profit values with dates, that would help.
According to https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/baikal/bk-g28SIB coin currently most profitable for G28 at 2.99 per day and this algo consumes only 450w compared to Qubit. This indication is wrong for weeks. Just check with some other coin calculator, e.g. whattomine. Its more like 0.5$....

Where do you mine guys? I am looking for auto profit switch. Nicehash does not include Groestl. Zpool seems low on profit. I am getting like 1,20$ for a G28.
try zergpool How do you config autoswitch? Idont find a how to...

Can I run one instance for a bunch of GPUs mining grin31 and another with different GPUs assigned for mining beam? Or will that have an imoact on the overall performance? [edit]: I just tested it, it does not seem to have an impact.
Unfortunately I get low hashrate on Grin31 with 6x 1080tis. Each makes only 0.65 G/s Any advice on that?
[edit]: Ok, nvm, noticed thats what you get with gminer, bminer makes 1.5 G/s, thats more what I was thinking of.

Can anybody tell me whats wrong with my device? Some boards showing no board information like temperature. But the maximum of 28GH. Could be dead boards. Dont look at the shown hashrate of the miner on the interface, check it on the poolside. Try restart/ reset, check power cables and power supply. You could try reflashing the SD card as a last try.

Any cool stuff we can do with the BK X and the new firmware? Any mods available?
|
|
|
There seems to be a new firmware file. Did anyone try it? Or is it the same old one but renamed and without comments on the Bitmain page?

Is there a way to prevent the miner from destroying the flash memory of the usb sticks? I guess it writes permanently some logs on the stick and degrades the memory over time.

I am getting tons of rejects at the miner dashboards and a low hashrate on nicehash. it fluctuates and persists on any server. some times it is normal. Any ideas how to solve this? Reboot etc. did not help.
many pool like "block master" rejects in average 40%, others like nicehash do not show rejects, so just keep trying other pools. I am using sergpool Nicehash worked great so far. The rejecrs are show in the miner, not on nicehash. Nicehash just reports low hashrate .. I replaced the USB stick with another. It seems the one it came with became defective and really slow. Problem solved.

what are you guys finding most profitable currently w/ this miner?
Probably nicehash, when you aim to get btc at the end...

I am a bit desparate. I can not get my Vegas to work with this miner, while other miners work fine. It only hashes on 3-4 of 6 cards and the rest shows 0 sol/s.
Well BEAM (Equihash 150/5) has an extreme amount of host memory use (in Windows) when you want to start up your cards. For many users the solution is to add tons of virtual memory over the Windows page file. I have 16GB of RAM and a pagefilesize of 128GB.

Hi,
I tried to mine beam with bminer 14.2.0 on a 6x 1080ti, 6x 1070ti Rig with -25% and -15% Power Limit. I keep getting fatal Cuda errors and system freezes. No overclocking applied. Drivers are 417.71. Pagefile size is huge 128GB preset, CPU is i3 7320.
Any ideas what is wrong?

I also have some Vega64 rigs. It is your overclock for sure. Reduce it until a point no Vega is showing 0 anymore.
Mine are fine with 1700/1050, 1100/960. But they are watercooled. So your result might be lower.
They are on stock settings... How many sol/s do you get?
