41  Economy / Lending / Re: Invest in Sweeet | First Legit Investor-Plan on: December 03, 2017, 03:03:24 AM
I still reckon sweeet will find his way through this like the others have said. He has not scammed yet, there's no reason why he would start now... Though I'm not sure he's ever got this volume of money at once before. Still as you said, never invest/gamble with more than you can afford to lose.

After getting burned like you did, hopefully you are just posting positive things hoping that other unsuspecting people will still have faith and invest and the ponzi will rollover enough to at minimum pay you off. You cannot be taking losing .16225 BTC (~$1,764 USD at the current rate) that lightly. And good for you if you are. I guess some people have funds available to simply burn with no ill-feelings.

But, in any case you, I have a deal for you!!!! For .16225 BTC I will sell you a pair of horse blinders to wear. No need for escrow. I will send first....I will even overnight ship them in the color of your choice. And if you act now.....you can run off with the blinders and not pay me. I will not leave negative feedback. In fact, I will keep saying positive things about you. I will even wait until I am 99 years old for you to pay me. Why? Because you are so loving that you would never step on an ant. I just know you are a good guy and you will make do.

Ohhh, wait, sorry, I forgot that you are already wearing blinders. You do not need blinders, therefore the deal is off.  Grin Grin Grin  Wink

Joking aside, if these investments are ever fulfilled, I suspect Sweeet/Osiris is going to start another ponzi or scam here or elsewhere to make that happen. That means other people will be cheated out of their hard-earned currencies or liquid assets. Wouldn't it be sad if you were an unsuspecting part of the new scam to help pay you and others off? At least on this scheme you earned three different times while others earned zero and lost investments. Well, in all fairness, you were also scammed in the end.

To change my mind about any of this, I would like to see Osiris' Paxful transactions from the last month posted within this thread. It should show Osiris bought $15,000 worth of gift cards for BTC on Paxful. Then I want to see the detailed profit/loss for each gift card purchased with that BTC. See, the original post offered a specific investment plan of BTC>gift cards. All other evidence shows Sweeet/Osiris used the money other than how he stated he would. Sweeet/Osiris is $15,000 richer...and at least 5 people here are $15,000 poorer. And even if Sweeet/Osiris lost the $15,000 in riches due to margin trading, there are $15,000 in sufferers because of Sweeet/Osiris.

I think that it is still probably too early to conclude that this is a ponzi scheme.

However i really doubt that every single cent of the investor's money has been going to legit trades. There is simply no way that he would be able to sustain that kind of turnover on paxful and still be able to make a guaranteed profit.

He has obviously done margin trading, which probably resulted from investments being too much for him to handle effectively using paxful trading.

Anyways, it'll be interesting to see how things turn out from this.
42  Economy / Lending / Re: Invest in Sweeet | First Legit Investor-Plan on: December 03, 2017, 12:53:01 AM
I have been carefully watching and researching before making an investment. Just before I was going to send something sizeable, something hit me and I sent you an unanswered PM about the gift card risk management.

According to the Google Docs link you provided, you have 1.426 BTC actively invested. At the rate right now, that's $15,500. (Even at a $9,000 BTC rate, that would be $12,834)

The amount PayPal is withholding is $800. So, where is the other $12,000-$14,000? $800 is like 5-6% of the total currently invested in your investment plan.

With the current principal invested you could cover that $800 by giving up a small part of the amount you take with each deal...say 10% for 8-12 BTC>gift card transactions.

I do seem to recall the plan to be buying discounted gift cards and selling them on Paxful. While your Paxful account has received recent positive feedback, there have been no active offers listed on your account for days (even from well before you received the PayPal message.)

The "first legit investor plan" was for you to sell BTC for discounted gift cards and you would sell those cards for a profit. I don't seem to recall mention of you margin trading with the investor funds. Quite frankly, that is gross mismanagement of investor funds by not following the plan people invested into.

I am sure you were well-intentioned; however, all things considered, I suspect you "ponzied out" by misusing funds instead of investing in discounted gift cards on Paxful. You also accepted some larger investments into the plan and had to use the small investments to cover that interest. I don't have the energy to do that analysis using your spreadsheet since it is now a defunct investment offering.

All things considered, there is a serious trust consideration here.

Updated post to include:

I'm tired and my math brain is still groggy, however, I ran some numbers using Lines 78-103 of the spreadsheet. Those lines seem to represent the best snapshot of time and activity.

In that snapshot of activity, the scheme took in 2.841 total BTC investments (26 investments)

It paid out 1.4606 BTC in return of capital and interest (15 investments)
(of the 1.4606 total paid out, 1.355 is return of capital and .1056 represents interest paid)

Still has 1.486 BTC of investor capital owing (11 investments)
Still has 0.14235 BTC in interest owing
1.486 + .14235 =  1.62835 owing

1.4606 (total paid out) + 1.486 (investor capital alone owing) = 2.9466 - 2.841 (total investments) = .1056
(Hmmm, .1056 is equal to the total amount of interest actually paid)

In about a month, he basically kept/spent/misused/bad traded/whatever 50% of the investments (~$15,000 at today's value) and threw up a misleading flag to end it.

I agree. Nowhere in the OP does it say that the funds are being used for margin trading, and i'm sure that everyone knows that margin trading is probably a lot more risky than trading gift cards on paxful or something like that. It's almost gambling.

Hopefully Sweeet will be able to come through with this. But as you said, this is mismanagement of investors money.

THey are expecting their funds to be used for one thing but he is using it for something else.
43  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is the best Alternatives to Perfectmoney - Non refundable ? on: December 02, 2017, 11:41:23 PM
What is the best Alternatives to Perfectmoney - Non refundable Payment Gateway ?

I suggest you check out bestchange.com, they have a list of possible exchange directions and most of these payment methods are irreversible. Off the top of my head i can list OKPay, Payeer, Epay, Advcash, and PM vouchers.

Though each have their own policies regarding chargebacks. Some officially will still allow chargebacks to happen but practically they will never answer support tickets, such as PM.

But in the end, i would still use BTC over any of these payment methods.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PREDICTIONS BY SUMMER 2018 on: December 02, 2017, 11:34:18 PM
OBVIOUSLY, IT SHOULD BE CLEAR AS DAY THAT BTC HAS LEGS .. ANYONE THINK IT CAN REALISTICALLY HIT THE 50K MARK WITHIN A YEAR? OR IS THIS A BUBBLE READY TO BURST? WHERE DO YOU SEE IT SITTING SUMMER OF 2018?

SPEAK ON IT

I'd like to see the price actually stabilize somewhere along the current price level. So around $10k-12k per coin would definitely be ideal for me by summer 2018. Obviously we can't rely on that happening and many things could happen to influence the price movement.

Most likely as i said - price may go up further, before a correction to the current price level or thereabouts.

But it could crash, no guarantees here. BTC is always volatile and extremely risky. If it does, $7-8k could be possible.
45  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crowdcoin Group Scammers on: December 02, 2017, 11:19:44 PM
You are only releasing a part of the chat log. Plus it's way too early to decide because crowdcoin has not been able to respond to this thread yet. They claim that you haven't offered any support on discord while you claim that you only promised translations only, that's the major dispute here.

If you are right then obviously they should be labelled as scammers, they have to redeem their promises.

However, if the agreement was indeed discord support + translations, then you're in the wrong here.
46  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Muslim scammer Found Zaizoun [ Scam 0.6 BTC ] Sting Operation on: December 02, 2017, 11:14:14 PM
Lmao, basically you're salty that you were not able to scam zaizoun for whatever amount you tried to scam him and you are saying that he is a scammer now? You legit have absolute no life, just going around scamming people.

How about you get a job? I'm sure you'll earn way more than you're trying to earn right now.

Zaizoun - don't worry too much about this. Nobody will believe him.
47  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust farming user caught on the act + Other alt account found on: December 02, 2017, 10:55:21 PM
It's not just trust farming - it's also basically forcing/pressuring people into paying for something that the newbies think takes money to do, but in fact is completely free and accessible to all.
CoolWave and others are expecting potential tonnes of shitposting newbies to put trust ratings on them - aka trust farming. However that does not matter to others as a whole unless a DT1 or DT2 member beings to trust them. In that case I am sure Lauda will contact them personally to have their ratings removed.

I would not be surprised a single bit if those accounts are indeed connected. In fact i think it is likely.
You maybe or may not be correct. Without prior proof it is just an assumption.

It's funny because he even says that people who tip will get 2x faster confirmation time, which is completely untrue. Antpool transaction accelerator/other free acceleration services that he uses provide the same speed regardless.
It is a clear indication of his motifs. He is forcing (aka brainwashing) people to tip him and/or trust him.

This type of fake transaction acceleration services need to be stopped. They are a nuisance to the forum and its members.

I have a list of the free transaction accelerator services I know of. Think it's time I made a (free) thread with a list of every single one I have found. This may hopefully take some of the traffic away from those who are charging for such a service.

I'll get it done today.

Good idea, but i believe there is already a completely free thread without any tipping address done by thekool1s. People are still using coolwave's service somehow. I think if you do it it'll be a lot better.

The 3 accounts may not be connected, but they are all doing dodgy things.

We really need to stop this acceleration service bullcrap. Maybe have one sticky on services that lists all the free accelerators?
48  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: confirmtx.com is not honoring their terms. on: December 02, 2017, 11:09:30 AM
As tryninja said, they basically lied about their partnership with bitcoin.com as confirmed with bitkilo. And even though they removed the bitcoin.com pool name from their OP i still consider that to be untrustworthy behavior.

You're basically forced into believing them and waiting for hours, even though they say that max you'll wait is 24 hours and you get a refund.

Seems like they are making loads from charging people $4 for something that can be done for free.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY is a preference to dag-technology, like a BYTEBALL or IOTA? on: December 02, 2017, 10:45:33 AM
Iota definitely has a lot more chance to make it in my opinion. There has already been a few ICO tokens that are built on the iota blockchain if i remember correctly(bitdice and paragon, potentially more), whilst byteball hasn't been used much.

Both has potential, though.

Main attraction is obviously the 0 fee transfers, but they really need to make sure their software has no bugs first.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [12-12-02]EOS Gains Over 600% In Less than 5 weeks to hit $3.67 on: December 02, 2017, 10:37:42 AM
I actually cashed out my EOS way too early, at around $1.2 i think.

It's basically gone parabolic ever since i dumped it. I mean i made a profit but i could have made another cool 300%. Oh well, that's what trading rewards you with tsometimes and you just have to bounce back from it.

I think that price will probably take an adjustment soon, to at least $2 or less. That would be a good buying point.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price in future on: December 02, 2017, 10:14:38 AM
Now ETH price around 500$.Will ETH price reach 1000$ in 2018 Jan Huh

I would say it could be possible. ETH has been pretty much waiting to explode for a while now but it seems like that it is struggling to break the 0.05 BTC mark. Once it does though i can see it going another ATH or even beyond.

Though january may be a bit too early, i'd say for safety, end february or even march would make more sense.

By then though, i'd expect BTC to be at $15k anyways.
52  Economy / Lending / Re: 3 BTC for NLC2 on: December 02, 2017, 10:09:12 AM
I require 3 BTC For 60 Days. I have NLC2 to provide. Please make an offer for this deal.

I'd suggest going with lone shark. If i'm not mistaken then he has filled big loans with NLC2 as collateral with a guy called lclclc something before, i'm fairly sure that he would be interested in doing this with you as well.

You should probably provide an estimation of how much interest you want, though.

Also, provide whether or not you are able to accept partial loans.

54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $10,000 today 26 Nov 2017? on: November 27, 2017, 10:03:29 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will hit $10k today? its $9457 atm

Seeing a bit of a correction right now. Actually went as high as $9800 on coinmarketcap, but then dropped to $9500.

I'm sure that on some exchanges we've already hit $10k, but on others we're still a couple hundred off that magical mark. Really is a matter of time now, if it doesn't happen by the end of today, surely it'll happen by tomorrow.

Don't worry about it and keep holding Smiley
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold balance check? on: November 27, 2017, 09:57:55 AM
Hey all,

I recently start a Youtube channel all about cryptocurrencies. Today's video is about checking how much Bitcoin Gold you have in your wallet.

https://youtu.be/LFiwSIq2k8g

For those that don't have time to watch, the gist is, the balance checker on Bitcoin Gold's site doesn't work properly yet. It listed my BTG balance as zero. Anyone see a correct balance?

http://bitcoingold.org/

I only copy/pasted in my public key. The checker is provided by MyBTGWallet and there's a way to get BTG by typing in a mnemonic passphrase. But no way I'm doing that just yet...

Don't ever copy your mnemonics/private keys into a website just to check your balance in a fork coin. That is just asking for someone to steal your hard earned coins. At least clear your entire bitcoin wallet and sweep the balance into a new address if your'e looking to do this.

The best way is to check up on the block number they did the snapshot and just go through your addresses one by one, honestly.

Whenever you find an address with a btg balance on the snapshot, just import that into coinomi. Simple.
56  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex ignores thousands of clients! on: November 27, 2017, 09:52:51 AM
Seems like that they really have a load of tickets open primarily about verification. I'm personally shocked to see this, because they actually used to be one of the best exchanges with the best support. I guess it's hard to become the #1 altcoin exchange without experiencing these things.

Ignoring these tickets definitely don't help either, at least address the problem, bittrex.

Everyone who has a problem should try to post on social media about it as well, like twitter, reddit, or even on forum.
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Be Careful with EXODUS wallet on: November 27, 2017, 09:40:51 AM
Hi Guys,

Recently, I had two of my coins amount drop.
My LTC was 2.023 which is now 1.83LTC
and MY BTC was 0.01 which is now 0.005BTC

Right away I contacted the support and they told me it's a network error. I keep restarting my pc and log in to exodus.
Every time I do that, it gives me an error.

Honestly, It feels that I lost my $60~ for no reason.
It's been now 24 hours and still, there is no resolution and I don't have any idea where did my money go.

Did anyone else had a similar experience!?
if so, how did you cope with it?

Conclusion: At the moment, I transferred all my coins to Binance, and let's hope my lost coins will appear again in Exodus.
Very Sad that I lost money for no reason what so ever.

This can't just happen by itself.

I'm storing dash and ethereum with exodus and i have never experienced anything like your problem. Quite odd that your balance would just disappear like that, and not to 0 either but just a small decrease in your balance. If it was a hacker why wouldn't he take all of your blaance?

Search up your ltc address on a block explorer, if it has 2+ LTC in it still it's probably something wrong with exodus's servers. Try reinstalling your exodus wallet and importing your old mnemonic phrase.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next BTC Crash? When? on: November 27, 2017, 09:34:15 AM
I sold all of my BTC with 8200$, Now I want to join to the game again, What do you think about next crash time? I think it will be crash beforBTC hit 10k$.

Damn, i really feel sorry for you because you did sell a bit early for sure.

I doubt that what you said will come true. Bitcoin crash will not come before $10000. If you buy now you may actually make a decent profit but you've got to be patient and wait till at least the end of teh year to sell your entire position.

And since it is such high values for bitcoin right now, you need to time your sell orders well. Don't hold onto your bag forever.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the peak of this bull run? on: November 27, 2017, 09:26:06 AM
Look at the history of btc, shares whatever, they pretty much follow a steady long term growth rate.

However, there are always peaks and troughs on the way.

At the moment btc is way ahead of the long term trend and there is no way that this can be sustained based on historical correction. That doesn't mean it's going to happen now but it's very likely too soon.

I'm seeing an awful lot of similarity to when we approached $1000. Every one getting excited, almost everyone hyping the market and nobody wanting to miss the big $1k. And then we broke through that and we thought the sky is the limit. I think what followed was a sudden realisation that this was all on hype and not organic growth and as soon as it dips it snowballs as people want to make sure they get out while they are still in profit.

I might be wrong but I see the same thing happening here today, we are being drawn to $10k on excitement.

So I expect to see us smash through $10k perhaps even $11k or $12k followed by a big fall, maybe down to $2k if past performance is any guide.

Does anyone else see this?

Spot on analysis in my opinion.

Long term growth is one of the most important guiding principles when it comes to bitcoin price appreciation. You pretty much know that bitcoin is goign to go up in the long term since it is naturally dis-inflationary and the inflation is controlled, compared to fiat inflation.

But, that doesn't mean that you're going to see a linear growth curve. It's going to boom and bust at certain points in the cycle. Right now we're in a boom, and once this boom is over there will be a bust. It could take us under $10k, but we'll see.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH running again ? on: November 27, 2017, 09:15:25 AM
ETH seems to be running again and trying to test the ATH. Will it reach 10ETH == 1BTC this year ?

Or it could just be a bull trap before more dumps. I think it is more likely a real bull run though that may last for quite a while like the one a few months back. Whether or not it's going to take down the previous ATH is another question on its own.

It'll be quite difficult to replicate the scale of increase in value now compared to a few months ago, but i think given the right conditions(such as BTC falling in value), a new ATH could definitely happen.

If BTC keeps taking the limelight though, probably not.
