Is there anybody to confirm that is received the refund? Looking forward to see confirmation of 1DiCe1
I have received the withdrawal. However lost like 75% of my investment there. Cannot confirm if the amount received back is correct (wasn't checking the site before it shut down), but looks plausible from the way site had been doing against gamblers. Glad I didn't invest too much there. JD was a gold mine in comparison.

RIP JD. you were my inspiration I will miss JD a lot. However, their departure does give you a real opportunity, especially since you allow investment. I think some things like the 1/2/3% pools may intimidate people, but at the same time, if they are baffled by something like that (which you do explain) you probably don't want them as investors on your site anyway. Good Luck! He is a smart one to intergrate features to multiple sites to one. Really hope that this site could rise some time later.. such awesome sause Performance needs to be solved. I cannot even use this site. It takes 100% of my processor computing power and after a minute or so freezes completely. On tablet or phone does not even load and crashes right away.

full Kelly (max win of 1% of the bankroll) is really dangerous. I suggest you decrease that to 0.5%. Peerbet has very low volume, so once some lucky whale comes in, it can do huge loss for the house. It has happened in both JD and Everydice. Dooglus withstood that incident and continued to operate the site while owner of Everydice ran away with investors money.

I wonder how can anyone still trust this Usagi person. He lost/scammed so much of people's bitcoins in the past and lied all the time, that it is really ridiculous. BTW, he's deleting his own posts and whole threads quite often. He's even managed to remove quoted posts of other forum members. Keep away from him.

I lost only a few and in general I profited quite a lot but during the last 2-3 years I dodged so many bullets (Pirate, GLBSE, Ukyo, Cognitive, MtGox) that I definitely decided to keep away from these investments. I consider to be very lucky to always spot the right time when to get out. BTW, this market is so illiquid that investing 100+ BTC in anything is certain recipe for disaster.

is this 7%-20% weekly or daily?

Thanks for explaining maqifrnswa! You haven't answered my question, you keep explaining that 1% Kelly is better than 0.5% Kelly. Let me rephrase it: Suppose my investment setting is 0.5% Kelly, and yours is 1% Kelly, and we have invested the equal amount of BTC. The bettor bets 1BTC and looses. Does that mean that you get 2X the profit from that bet than I get? Or are you proposing something much more complicated? Once again - please give us one good example, it's far from obvious what exactly is your idea.
For a house advantage of 1% it would mean that 0.5% of your complete investment is taken and 1% of my full investment is taken and added to the max profit value. Thats the maximum a gambler can play for then. In case he plays for full profit as target and he wins i lose 1% of my investment and you 0.5%. If he loses we win proportionally to the risk played. It all boils down to the amount of bitcoins put into the jar that contains the winable amount of bitcoins. This would be disadvantageous for current investors who want to stay at 0.5% Kelly. For the same amount of variance (or slightly higher) they would get less profit. Max profit is hit very rarely these days and only there you would experience full Kelly variance. Moreover, daytrading at these high-variance days has hit investors who did not divest greatly, which is not good for Dooglus and the site.

I received this message yesterday: Hi Doog, I'm suro(122865) I've lost big yesterday - a little bit too much. I come from Poland - a country in EasternEurope - where quality of life is far behind so called civilized world. I am a father to two wonderful boys and I sear all I did for them - but I was stupid. Bitcoins seemed to give me the oportunity to earn a little bit more, to provide for my family and children - and I did gain... but unfortunatelly I've read an article about Nakova, found your website... and commited the sin of gambling. I was winning in the beginning - and than I started loosing . But the last yesterday's bet was something I was not ready for... I feel guilty, I fell angry for myself, I let myself down. Everythinng is my fault... I know. That was the most cruel lesson I have received in my life. But the 100 BTC I've lost was the BTC I've bought some time ago... I can live my pitiful life without it... but the last 30 - was - no kidding almost everything I've managed to accumulate in 15 years of my adult life... Now I don't know how to tell my wife... what to do... I'm afraid... please forward my mail to some top investors who got most of my lost money... They are wise, they don't gamble what they cannot loose... Maybe they are merciful as well and could at least make the blow a little less painfull. I swear to you and to myself I will never gamble again - not a penny, not a satoshi... I will leave everyting as an investment on the site... And one more thing - please send me the chart so I can set it as a wallpaper... to remind me of the stupid thing I've done... Since I don't have a way to contact investors individually, I asked him about posting his message here. He agreed. His stats back up his story: wagered: 6178.35237261 bets: 20257 balance: 0 profit: -130.22485193 losses: 10297 wins: 9960 If anyone wants to help him out, his address is 1PXhD54Wsy2R7At58FAePnT3GJ1i3N8pET. Thanks. So, he wants the money back from investors and then dilute their share on bankroll? Investing bitcoins is very risky too, if 30 BTC is so much for him, he should better stay away from bitcoins at all, not even thinking about investing.

Ukyo said a week or so ago in the IRC chat, that there is a very long list of people waiting for redemption and he does not have the money. So redemption is not happening any time soon. I sold all of my shares with a small loss at that time, cause I have no interest in verifying my account. If you are holding large amounts that you can't sell without huge losses you just need to continue holding them and hope that the site goes well so Ukyo is able to pay the interest.

he'll never come back again; that's it; some investors will wait ages to recover their losses as everyone will invest back now

It's a shame Erik's real character will never be revealed, and no one will ever fully understand the extent that Erik has actually helped Bitcoin & the overall efforts of liberalizing our economy.
As he always said, SD was simply a side project. A small cog in his overall scheme.
which is? to conquer the world

Strange. I always thought the house is always win. Some people win, but much more people lose. So, I invested some tiny BTC to check it, but after 3 days I have negative balance. So, any thoughts You didn't see anything yet. When big player was playing last month (and winning) I was down like 12%. If big players play the variance can be huge. But in the long run we should be up.

when these increases happen, would it be beneficial for investors to divest all their holdings at the lower commission, and then reinvest after the commission has been raised?
do you even just-dice ? He's half-right, though. It's beneficial to divest everything at the low commission, since commission is only paid on new profit. Think of it as pre-paying at a lower price. on Sunday, you'll be still charged with old commission rates anyways, regardless if you divest or not. The only thing you can do is divest when you think that the site profit is at the top currently and will go downwards until Sunday. So you will prepay the return to the top with lower rates.

MPEX withdrawals are processed manually. They can take a couple of days.
Indeed, I am currently waiting for the withdraw from MPEX. I will add a bit of extra BTC as compensation for good manners. //DeaDTerra Bitfunder holders got only 0.0035 per share? I think Erik paid a little bit more than that + you promissed to add a bit extra. Whoever bought thse share for 0.0035 from me about 2 weeks ago was calculating with this. Poor fellows got scammed twice. Erik paid exactly 0.0035 to shareholders of sdice. You already got the extra promised, since he did the dividend for free, not taking any cuts. I sold mine like 2 weeks before, I didn't wait for the final dividend cause he became untrustworthy recently. If he would take cut from the buyback sum, that would be a scam. No other PT operator did that. And that he even lied at the end to pay extra to investors for delays caused by his own mistakes says something about him. But he didn't run with the coins, so it's not that bad. There are much worse people around here

He's creating panic intentionally in order to buy back at lower prices Glad, I sold right after the announcement at 0.0035 and invested elsewhere; already got a bunch of nice dividends from Ukyo

I just received an email from someone telling me they bought a new phone and so lost access to google auth, and so can't log in.
They want me to reset their google auth so they can log in again.
This seems wrong to me. If I reset google auth on demand, what's the point of even offering it?
So please, make sure you have a backup of your google auth secret, in case you ever buy a new phone and so lose access. If you already have google auth enabled on your account but don't have a backup of the secret, please PM me and I'll temporarily disable it so you can make a backup.
Seems like a good solution would be to have them send you a verified message from a bitcoin address where they had previous sent a large deposit. If they have an email registered with the account, sending an email from that account would seem like another good idea to verify identity. I once lost GA code to my account at MtGox. They have reset it without any problem. Just an e-mail was sent to my e-mail address (stored in their DB) mentioning that the GA will be reset in 3 weeks time and if I didn't requested this I should contact their support team. Another e-mail was sent again like 3 days before reset date. Something similar could be done for JD.
