Can I Miner POW? Would the algorithm be X11? Thank you!

PoW is over.

Now only staking or what?

Only staking and masternodes.

It could mean heaps is happening behind the scenes, or .... nothing is happening.  At least the price is pretty stable.

Do you guys think BTC Lightning Networks will take some of the shine off faster coins or will it just expand usage of Crypto and all will be well in Alt land?

Vacation till setpember.
All will be well in alt land Smiley

Hi all,
Is there a legitimate reason why the Crave windows wallet shows up the .qt file as containing a trojan?
Had this issue with a couple of wallets now.
Its the irc seed, its not a trojan. You can disable it adding irc = 0 in your conf file.

this is a new low. Sad, hilarious and pathetic...
I don't understand, why is this a new low? If we're going up against all of the other coins, there has to be something about CHC that makes it stand out. I think it is the CHC community that makes the difference.  What do you think?
Yeah going up against all of the other coins but still going down against the $.  Roll Eyes

I got a problem, I have downloaded the latest version v2.1.0.0  but i can't run it, so i've deleted it and keep running the version v1.4.5.0-g32axxx. Is that ok? or i have to update it, how?  Huh

Ps: where is the awesome roadmap to get Crave to the crypto billionaires club  Grin
1.4.5 chain isnt compatible.
what you mean? i see it still sync correctly... How can i update now? Did i lose my coins?   Cry

thanks
This was addressed in the release that followed 2.0.2.0

First of all backup your wallet.dat. You can make resync by 3 ways,

Delete txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat for resync from network.(takes 7-8 hours/recommended)
Delete txleveldb folder and rename blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat for faster resync from raw blockchain file. (takes 2-3 hours/highly recommended)
Delete txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat, download blockchain.7z with new txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat and unpack it (2-3 minutes/not recommended).
http://cryptoblock.xyz:30002/bootstrap.dat
http://cryptoblock.xyz:30002/blockchain.7z
So, i need resync with version 2.0.2.0 and then i can update to the latest version right? can you give me a compiled version of 2.0.2.0? thanks
Just download the last release and sync. If its not working, try to compile the wallet yourself.

Hi
i've problems to setup my MN on my server

If i ty to use some Ports i get this error:
Code:
2017-07-29 07:19:39 CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Checking inbound connection to 'XX.75.141.164:50423'
2017-07-29 07:19:39 connect() to 62.75.141.164:50423 failed after select(): Connection refused
2017-07-29 07:19:39 CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - not capable: Could not connect to XX.75.141.164:50423

This ports are all open...
If i use higher Ports like 80423 i get this:

Code:
2017-07-29 07:20:29  addr XX.75.141.164:80423
2017-07-29 07:20:29 CActiveMasternode::ManageStatus() - Checking inbound connection to 'XX.75.141.164:0'

Masternode would start, but i think this is not right. seems like an Integer overflow on the Port because its markt "0"

I'had run the node for 1 day but no income an i don't see the node on the MN-List.

Code:
{
    "version" : "v2.1.0.0-60025",
    "protocolversion" : 60025,
    "walletversion" : 60000,

    "mininput" : 0.00000000,
    "unlocked_until" : 0,
    "errors" : ""
}

The IP is also ok by the Node.

What could the problem be??? Huh Huh
Port 65535 is the highest possible on a machine.
Add externalip=YOUR_IP and port=YOUR_PORT in your conf file.
And check if its reachable from outside.

Hello, I'm practicing cross compiling the windows client on Linux.  I get the following error. Any idea what may be causing it?

obj/txdb-leveldb.o: In function `ZN25zero_after_free_allocatorIcE10deallocateEPcj':
src/crave/src/allocators.h:245: undefined reference to `memory_cleanse(void*, unsigned int)'
src/crave/src/allocators.h:245: more undefined references to `memory_cleanse(void*, unsigned int)' follow
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
makefile.linux-mingw:179: recipe for target 'craved.exe' failed
make: *** [craved.exe] Error 1

I think you're the first one to try cross-compiling the wallet, i didnt try it myself. Coolerrsa uses this to compile on Windows, try to get the same boost + mingw version   :
-boost 1.57
-miniupnpc 1.9
-berkeleydb 5.3.28.NC
-openssl 1.0.2k
-qt 5.5.1
-libpng 1.6.29
-secp256k1 included in sources
-mingw i686-4.8.3-release-posix-dwarf-rt_v3-rev0

Also i dont know if the makefile for this is correct since you're the first one to experience it.

Thanks, I'll try with those versions and report back.
Edited the first message for a makefile fix, give it a try.

You wont be able to get rewards with this wallet. Just get the last one,resync and backup your wallet.

Max Lee starting to promote Crave. x5 before and of this month.
Hope he'll shut up. We don't want him and his pseudo "strategies".
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: July 27, 2017, 01:01:57 PM
I have been monitoring this site https://crave.masternodes.pro/ but i think its not correct, the other day at 1.9$ the monthly was 95$ with 394masternodes, today at 2.9$ and with 4 masternodes more the monthly is 65$.

If this shit is not correct please get crave off there, as its misleading
Its calculated dynamically since it depends on the chain speed. I don't exactly know the formula but when the chain is faster, the number of blocks increases in the timeframe and the number of potential rewards too. Profitibility isnt calculated using the theorical chain speed of 1 block / 60s.

Ok i understand, but then what is the point of having us listed there if the stats are just wrong, because i can confirm that they are wrong as my nodes are giving me different numbers on a monthly avg

Stats are extrapolated for monthly / annual return based on the daily one I guess because the number of MN is changing pretty often.

Cannot allocate vin means you need to unlock your wallet and unlock again.  Then the unlock will work.  The stopping problem could be a lack of memory (1Gb+ is ok) or a software problem.  If you have lots of memory can you run a "getinfo" command on the debug console and post the response?

I will try what you said by unlocking and unlocking it again...I currently have 8GB ram running and awaiting for another 16GB stick to install to total 24GB.

here's the "getinfo" response:

  "version" : "v2.1.0.0-60025" ...

Thanks, your memory amount sounds ample and the getinfo output looks good, do you have a debug.log in your crave data folder?  maybe that's worth a look for a reason as to why it's stopping.

Thank you for your help so far!

I have tried the unlock and unlocking you suggested and the wallet stays unlocked.

I double checked my masternode if its online from the https://crave.masternodes.pro/advanced/list and it shows my node is active even after I refresh a couple times from the site and waited between hours. I'm not sure what's going on...since my wallet shows not online...

Here's the debug.log from my Crave data folder:

GUI: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile
GUI: QMetaObject::connectSlotsByName: No matching signal for on_UpdateKeys_clicked(bool,bool)
2017-07-24 22:24:40

Always start your masternode from the console, not from GUI buttons.
Use masternode list or masternode status to check your node.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: July 26, 2017, 10:16:55 AM
I think the masternode started but it is not showing on the list.

I checked the masternode with the debug command and it shows "Masternode started remotely".
Also the masternode explorer shows it as active but nothing generated.

I have the ports configured correctly, but it keeps going offline.

I am also using the lastest wallets, the VPS I am running has 1gb in memory maybe I need more memory?

It seems to go offline as soon as it stakes some coins.
Check if your node is reachable from outside.

Just create a new address in your controller wallet, send 500, create a mn2 folder that looks like your first node, but with the new privkey and port info in your .conf.  Add it to your masternode.conf, and make the mn wallet is running.  Then start it from the controller.

I believe that's in the guide?

Why after 30 min was running masternode in my controller wallet -> Crave network status "Active (secs)" is 00m:00s?
Check if your masternode is reachable from outside. Add firewall rules / port forwarding.

By telnet on port 9999? In configuration I have the port 9999.
Yes. You can also use this.
