42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did the Ethereum network ever shut down like $ONE did? on: January 15, 2022, 06:14:49 AM
I'm not sure as well but honestly speaking it's not the end, every new projects can have problems and bugs they will learn from their mistakes and adjust their system, there are many projects that are now big today but at their first few years they battled with different problems
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: When? on: January 15, 2022, 06:05:14 AM
Forget TON no other coin will be as profitable as ETH and if ETH goes down many miners will switch their rigs to available coins which will result in higher mining difficulty so it won't matter anymore

Trolls think will be another coin that will save them from bad choices they have made hehe, even with eth bear market was negative profit from october 2018 to july 2020, now imagine without eth ehhe. Let them keep doing stupid decisions and blame other factors, trolls will never learn. In 2013 ltc got as high as 50 usd and then crashed to less than a dollar ehhe, that was funny, in 2018 eth got as high as 1440 usd and then crashed to 80 usd.

The real trolls are those that sold their rigs in 2018 because it's not profitable anymore, not blaming those that have high electricity bill but those who always look at coins in USD value, holders are real winners when bear market is alive, like I've said only those with high electricity bill have the right to get rid of their rigs
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about MuskyDoge? on: January 14, 2022, 04:49:57 AM
Doge coin is money, where is the doge coin coming from? What are the teams doing that gives them doge coin to distribute to their token holders? I believe such projects are doing this to lure many investors as possible don't you think? At one point in time they will put an end to the doge coin or reduce it
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What x50 or x100 altcoin would you choose from the following to invest $1000? on: January 14, 2022, 04:32:21 AM
Presently I'm hearing about bitconomy through ICO list platform and I think they are planning a IDO already, the project can bring good ROI if you invest in their presale, UFO gaming and GALA already pumped so hard when BTC was over 50k I'm not sure the same will happen again, also UFO gaming I bought some and sold when it increased in value
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Flux solo mining on: January 13, 2022, 04:31:28 PM
I read on news a day ago that someone solved a BTC block with few terahash ASIC miner, I m suggesting it's an old ASIc miner this person made 6.5BTC and that's a whopping 200,000$+, it's stated that this is a 1 in a 10,000 chance so that's some pretty good luck, who says that solo mining is bad don't know how lucrative finding a block can be anyways, the choice is yours if you want profits day to day then join a pool and get paid daily but if you are an adventurer it's no crime to try other things out
This is great luck

«This is fun. Winning full Bitcoin block rewards with only 0.000073% of the current total hashrate. Either extraordinary luck or persistent proof-of-WORK, or both.»

Right words!
It's crazy I wish I could see this lucky guy and ask him how long he have been mining BTC in solo mode, I could do the same if grid power is stable in my country just mine and move on and hope that one day I find a block anyways altcoins have higher chances than BTC this dude is extremely lucky
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Stake?? on: January 13, 2022, 12:41:08 PM
Highest APY? How high are we talking about? Those coins you listed are all good altcoins but I doubt they have high staking APY, start from Binance exchange see if anything goes wrong binance is capable of refunding all funds back this is why I trust this exchange more than any, the second one I used is kucoin exchange, they have emergency funds just in case something goes wrong, look into these two
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we avoid scams in blockchain? on: January 12, 2022, 08:09:06 PM
Trend carefully, do good research on projects before investing your cash make sure the project team are either audited or doxxed, anonymous team have high possibilities of exiting scam or pull rugged because they aren't known to the world, don't connect your wallet to any random website for any reasons, use CMC to find official links to a project before connecting your wallet
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Potential Mining Rig (Need advice) on: January 12, 2022, 05:28:08 PM
GPUs: 6x ASUS TUF RTX 3080
Since 3080s are low in stock, is it feasible to replace the 6x 3080s with either 3060 Tis or 3070s instead? If so, would you advise that I change any of the other parts that I proposed below? Thank you.

Biostar TB250-BTC Pro
Intel Celeron G3930
1x 8GB DDR4
120GB Kingston SSD
Ubit 6-Pack Ver. 103C
6 GPU Veddha Frame
2x EVGA P2 1200 Watts
6x 8-Pin to Dual 8-Pin
Dual PSU Adapter

Perfect rig.

If the rig is away from home, try use servers PSU, more cheap.

Thank you for your response. Another question: Are 3060Tis and 3070s compatible or ideally paired with the rest of the parts listed?
Why not? Any graphic cards can work in your motherboard just fine, even old Motherboard like 3rd gen works well with these graphic cards, 3060ti and 3070s mining performance are not different from each other you will get 60-64MH from the cards easily.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Just got 2 pny rtx a4500 cards on: January 12, 2022, 05:12:26 PM
a4000 / $ 1175 / 60mh / 115 watts looks like a better buy. The more powerful the video card, the more it costs, but I think this is a bad trend.
How much do you have a Radeon RX 6800XT?
They perfectly mine TON and Ethereum in Dual Mining.
Just as powerful as a RTX3060ti which produce 61MH on 120watts that's pretty close if you ask me, honestly this is all good you can find other alternatives if you can't get your hands on 3060ti, GPUs are getting more interesting

52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / I made the right decision in November on: December 02, 2021, 11:51:44 AM
Early last month I created a topic about me selling some of my GPUs fir altcoins, the link to the old topic is here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5369963.msg58385787#msg58385787
And today I will like to drop an update on what's happening, I made the right decision people, now I can afford more GPUs and Motherboards once this bull season is over, thanks to Gala, Sand, MoBOx, dogedash and few others, I'm not here to confuse miners though but if you are new and looking forward to build mining rigs first invest that money on good coins because

1. We are still in bull market
2. Graphics cards are still too high in price
3. Altcoins brings more profits in short term Vs mining

The choice is still yours though, just make sure you do your own research
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on 3050ti on: November 10, 2021, 06:19:48 AM
Sorry to say 3050ti in laptops are weaker at mining that the gtx1660ti in laptops, 1660ti in my Asus laptop do 31MH on Nicehash easily but I'm scared of killing my laptop so fast but 3050ti just performed even worse so it is what it is mate, go for laptop with 1660super or ti if you want to mine with them, price are roughly the same
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid plan or not bad at all? on: November 09, 2021, 07:07:05 PM
I've bought few altcoins very early and I'm already in huge profits but I'm sure that BTC dominance will decrease alot before alts start new rally, this is what I'm waiting for now, probably December I'm out of the game, I will sell all for USDT, I don't plan to hold mate
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Stupid plan or not bad at all? on: November 09, 2021, 12:41:38 PM
The market is in a very good shape this November and it looks like the predictions about altcoins season is becoming a reality now I think it's better to start buying altcoins for some gains and sell after bull run probably January? Not sure if history will repeat same thing like 2017 so I sold few GPUs from my garage for this, once bull is over I will use that money to buy GPUs back hopefully they will be lesser at the time, stupid plan or not bad?
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: anyone got a 1030 mining? on: November 09, 2021, 06:38:13 AM
If the card isn't the 2GB version then you can use it to mine ravencoin, I think this is the most profitable coin for 1030 GPUs, try using Nicehash to benchmark and see the most profitable algorithm to mine
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: November 08, 2021, 06:06:44 PM
although it is still said to be a memecoin but I see in practice it is also very successful my friend, just look at it since it was published by binance the price of the Shiba inu has increased beyond the previous price, I think with the increase in the price of the shiba inu, what you say will be refuted.
No one can deny that the Shiba Inu has reaped its new ATH this month and especially this year, but people sometimes get carried away by this and forget about the potential dumping on the Shiba Inu itself at times that no one knows, because Coins with a very high supply will always have a hard time staying at a good price.
I don't think anyone knew if the shiba inu would be valued as high as it is now. however ATH Shiba inu relies heavily on the support of the large community owned by shiba inu, including support from Binance itself and support from shiba inu investors so that it survives at a good price as it is today
You sound like no other meme coin can do better than shiba inu because of its strong community, well if shiba can make it this far then any new coin can do the same thing, it seems like all crypto investors just prefer meme coins more than others
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 Vs 2021 on: November 08, 2021, 05:59:46 PM
Be smart and still plan yourself ahead, it's a must for the market to crash at one point so I won't be betting on the fact that this year bull run is stronger, yes it's stronger but still won't stop bear market from occuring so let's the prepared, be safer than sorry
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Micropets really are the cutest NFTs :) on: November 08, 2021, 06:12:18 AM
I've heard you but micropets isn't as great as doge dash, in terms of graphical and the fun aspect doge dash beats micropets and in near future this game will be one of the most popular throughout the world, since you like micropets I suggest you check it out. https://dogedash.com
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are NFTs stored and do you really own them? on: November 07, 2021, 01:21:42 PM
I've not really own any NFT but don't tell me that it's just an JPEG file where anyone can download and safe, I think there is more to owning an NFT that we don't know, if what all of you are saying is true no one will invest in NFTs already, pls drop your answer if you are a NFT owner and tell us what we don't know about owning an NFT
