ASIC miners are great but pray nothing bad happens while using them, ordinary power problem will make your own rig useless, this is where GPUs have high advantage, one that stop working can be easily replace in your country but not ASIC miners

This is something that MMPOS and hiveOS can't do and I hate them for that, assuming you have both amd and Nvidia cards in your mobo and you want to mine an algorithm with AMD and another algorithm with Nvidia you won't be able to and this is possible on windows OS or is there something I don't know?

Here is one thing i still don't understand about hive OS, they don't update their drivers even when a new version of hive OS is out, why? There are stubborn GPUs like 3070 that failed to work on 460.35 Nvidia drivers but in the latest hiveOS it's not updated, this is pure laziness

Ha for those who needed my rig info I'm running on hive OS with mobo Biostar TB250, intel pentium CPU and 8gig ram, all GPUs onboard are Nvidia cards and they hash very fine

Can someone please say something about this? Why is it that whenever I am mining and I decide to save energy but turning off my display monitor my hashrate reporting on pool will drop? Mind you I don't plug in display cable to any GPU but the mobo itself (igpu) so once I switch on the monitor the Hashrate report increase back to norm..

Try the HiveOS community. There are several topics about tuning your vega's. I've used them alot on my Samsung Vega 64's.
Hi thanks for the reply, I have hynix memory Vega only and no matter which settings from other users I tried it always crash my hive OS forcing a reboot, I managed to go lower from what others gave me to try and I got to 43MH using phoenix miner, someone talked about strap 3 in another miner but haven't try that out yet |

Sure an hp1200w server psu with breakout board will do this no problem.

The 1200 watt power I have (akasa) don't have enough 8pin plugs to power all the graphic cards since you need two 8pin plugs to power a single Vega card, this is a big problem right now as I have to get another power I guess |

I have a friend in China who left the country recently because of his mining business, way convenient for him because he isn't married yet and I talked to him about getting me more GPUs on his way out of China, the fact is GPUs aren't going to be cheaper like that of 2019 even if bear market comes

I heard latest lhr cards are low hashrate in all coins  We used see lhr cards were only limited in eth and ergo but now all algos are limited. Is this true? Did anyone came across such a card? Ravencoin is affected I heard this from a friend, I used to think that ETH algorithm is the only one affected but now I'm even hearing that the LHR has v1 and V2, this is absolutely nonsense from Nvidia |

You can avoid LHR cards if you have a good supplier, on china market right now sellers are even labeling their cards as LHR and Non LHR with their prices visible, this is what I did to avoid buying the wrong one free

Amazon is trying to accept bitcoin and other cryptos as a direct payment but it is not going to happen any time soon because there are lot of regulatory issues they have to face even in the developed countries because they regulated it as assets but if amazon accept them as cash then there will be a chaos among the government and e commerce sites.
You're right, but what if the money in question is Dollars, don't they accept it? Going back to the adoption that Amazon will announce in the near future, they should have already prepared what kind of stuff Bitcoin is worth paying for (although I don't think there's actually anything worth swapping for Bitcoin). We also need a list of items that have lasting value in the long run, not even cheaper and ultimately have no value. I have my doubts on this as well, BTC is the best for sure but we can't the fact that it's still highly volatile compare to fiat and stable coins, there must be a way around this or else it won't work, it's why I'm not so moved by the Amazon adopting crypto news, I don't see how it will work |

Getting a block solved is the main issue here, you will wait forever to see that happens so don't bother trying your luck cos it's never going to happen, get yourself a 400$ GPU and use Nicehash, you will get paid every 24hrs with BTC

I'm trying to power up to 6 Vega 56 GPUs and they have 2x 8pin power slot on them but my power supply only has 4x 8pin plugs so I can only power two Vega 56 cards so my question is are there server power supply that can power many Vega 56 GPU at once ?

But on your question, I can answer that visa and master cards work great for paying for goods in this online store. Try to contact the sellers directly. I will drop a picture below of what I'm getting but I don't think it's safe to make payment directly to seller because if anything goes wrong I won't be getting a refund unless the seller is a good person  |

The only GPUs that are less expensive this days are those with 4GB memory and coins like Ergo, Ravencoin, ETC are still profitable to mine with 4GB cards but that doesn't mean those hashrates are from China, remember no single miner can power their rig in that country anymore, they are been arrested and forced to sell their rigs

China is always two steps ahead of all other countries in terms of future tech and I think the reason why they ban crypto miners is because of their CBDC but what will happen if other countries later follow the same steps? Will this put crypto in trouble?
