181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone know any good volatile coins that I can make a some money with? on: June 06, 2021, 06:15:27 AM
Hey BTCTalk, I have recently branched out from ETH and BTC to other altcoins alongside those coins, I have seen that Cardano, Nano, and other coins are Volatile enough to make good profits, do you guys have any other suggestions?
Volatility is just a general something with crypto it shouldn't be the reason why anyone invests on a coin or token, real use cases and utility is why I invest in projects, anyways, Cardano use case can't be denied it's a very good one, you can look into vechain, polkadot and avalanche
182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A legend was once a newbie on: June 03, 2021, 05:21:01 PM
Honestly rushing won't get you anywhere and you will end up messing up, fast rank up doesn't work out well if you are always in rush instead love what you do and you will be loved back, talk about crypto, solve problems, create interesting topics that people will want to talk about, there is no short cuts to growing
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: passive income. on: June 03, 2021, 02:58:36 PM
It's only a matter of time, crypto won't keep surging and mining won't keep profitable at all time so wait for next red market to buy GPU and keep mining with what you have on ground right now
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks from large financial institutions entering the crypto market . on: June 02, 2021, 02:19:30 PM
If large institutions decide to sell off it won't make any big difference because they aren't the only ones adopting crypto, look around you it's a big difference to four year back where people look at you like you are crazy when you mention crypto and BTC, adoption is growing bigger
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 02, 2021, 09:45:16 AM
I personally don't like meme coin and there is nothing that will change my mind because the survival of a project depends entirely on its utility and innovation not meme but the reason why doge coin survived this long is because it's loved by the community, cheap and fast transaction speed is just a plus, available in other projects too
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU miners still buying cards? on: June 02, 2021, 06:13:46 AM
Go on Amazon and see price for GPU yourself, there isn't a big difference from the high price since ETH becomes profitable to mine, if you are waiting for GPU price to go down like me well you might have to wait till 1st quarter of 2022
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / IRS Vs Monero on: June 01, 2021, 05:14:55 PM
IRS have a bounty on Monero right now to jailbreak it's anonymity for around 625,000$ if this becomes a success will it affects Monero value? I don't know why IRS want this to happen, is Monero a threat to them or what? Or they just hate the fact that some people are using Monero to hide from preying eye like the government?
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: June 01, 2021, 09:19:43 AM
There are many shibainu copycats out there right now and their teams are hidden which makes me feel uncomfortable with the meme projects, once this bull market sinks finally meme coins will crash marginally because everyone wil sell off and take their loss to avoid Futher losses, why? Meme coins have no huge demand
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the process of listing Cryptocurrencies simple? on: June 01, 2021, 05:43:29 AM
As a matter of fact most crypto exchanges don't care, there is money to be made from new projects that want to list on exchanges so telling them NO is loss of money, the only exchange that cares so much about how good a project is for the masses is binance exchange, if all crypto exchange can copy this guys at binance we will have less scam projects in crypto space
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: May 31, 2021, 01:24:41 PM
Matic (polygon) seem like the only altcoin among other few that still shows some bullish sign but let me tell you the truth it's better to lay low for now because all altcoins will still go all the way down, the best time to buy coins are when they lose much value, be smart and be patience
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which best Altcoins to buy & HODL for some months on: May 31, 2021, 10:27:04 AM
Bull market is officially over friend, wait for massive corrections that are coming which can take months and prepare for new bullrun years later, buying and holding now will bring you more pains and losses
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All the crypto industry is running by shills on: May 31, 2021, 05:49:39 AM
Either good or bad a new crypto project needs hypes to get noticed and popular, shilling doesn't mean the projects are scam or bad that's why you need to do your own good research before promoting or investing in any project
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx580 still a better option? on: May 30, 2021, 03:33:13 PM
Energy saving wise rx580 isn't a good choice anymore, any GPU that do 30MH should be consuming around 70watts max and 60MH should be 140watts or so but rx580 consumes near 100watt or even more if you don't do extra tweaking, I know this difference using wattman meter

Gtx1660 Ti and Super are better option, even RX5700XT is 👍👍👍
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gearing up to buy some GPUs soon on: May 30, 2021, 03:29:41 PM
Chill for now, very soon GPUs will become cheaper and cheaper because of ethereum updates (EIP1559) even right now ETHEREUM mining isn't as profitable as before because the value have dropped alot
Remember that Ether is not the only coin one can mine using GPUs so miners will look for the next profitable coins like vertcoin, Monero, Ravencoin, Ethereum Classic etc before they think of selling them especially during this Bull run.

I would say one has to wait till several months into a serious bear market like one that happened from 2018-2020 to be able to buy GPUs cheaply.
Coins like vertcoin and Monero will only be able to keep up if bull market remains intact if not those coins won't be profitable at all, even ETH mining profit is reducing from time to time, nothing is certain in this crypto space so it's better to be patience and see what happens, it's not a good time to invest in costly GPUs
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinTalk's altcoin section vs. altcoinstalks.com on: May 30, 2021, 03:25:48 PM
1. Exposure
2. Information
3. Design
4. Crypto land

These are the winning points that bitcointalk have over other crypto forums and also as BTC is the grandmaster of all crypto coins so is bitcointalk the grandmaster of all crypto forum, old is gold

197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining software for ARRR or ZCASH using AMD GPU RX 560 on: May 20, 2021, 06:41:28 AM
Nvidia GPUs owned Equihash algorithm mate, they are better than AMD cards in this algorithm, my suggestion will be to use the card to mine ETHEREUM and swap your ETHEREUM to any Privacy coin that you want
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining is dead. Yeah, sure thing! on: May 20, 2021, 06:36:26 AM
What goes up forever? Nothing I guess so it's stupid to keep buying graphic cards thinking that this present mining reward will be here forever, you will end up been disappointed, GPU mining is here to stay but rewards from here on won't be satisfying so how prepared are you guys? Even ETH going PoS fully this year isn't a joke.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy day for the miner on: May 20, 2021, 06:32:35 AM
It's over, you are all cashing out your final high end mining rewards, what you are seeing is massive sell off from investors who believe that it's the end of the bullrun season, soon all GPU will be sold off and new ones will go back to MSRP, I can't wait
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin I start mining on: May 19, 2021, 08:32:59 PM
He can also buy used 4GB cards to mine ERG, ETC, VTC, XHV and so on. 1000 is nothing? Lol not all dudes have thousands of dollars laying around and not all dudes must mine ETH, there are many good alternative and profitable coins out there.
I started with 2 GPU“s in 2017, now i have over 120 GPU“s running. So he have enough money to start and learn how mining and crypto works.
Even now 4GB GPUs are overpriced - i saw today them for $300. I think it is possible to buy them about $200. And they worked hard for 4 years. I think this can be a decision for experienced miner but nor for newbie. Better choice to buy 1 new middle GPU about 3060. It will be easy to sell or play games or mine any new coins.
It will be over soon, are you seeing the market right now? Bears ars slowly taking over the market and some are thinking there will be a recovery but the market will keep going down, it's time to grab some graphic cards at cheaper price, eBay will be flooded with cheap cards soon
