42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 16, 2021, 04:28:09 PM
I have to say, having made a few Monero transactions in recent weeks.

They are pretty quick and easy. A+++   yak yak ebay style review.

Are you sure its hard?

That's fabulous. I made a few nice things I was proud of back in the day I guess. Sadly Im a bit feeble these days.

I truly love the idea of user based content.

This forum has a brilliant way where a thing evolves 3 or 4 times to something great. Each person adds something.

A brilliant example for more agile approaches out there in the real world.

Good luck all.
44  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: February 16, 2021, 04:16:39 PM
Thanks for the mention friend.

I'm experiencing the usual (for me) tech issues. I booked the wrong kind of steam when I ordered the hardware. Smiley

Anyway I hope change is close and then we will see. I did enjoy to cover these games.

With that hand you show, soon as 2 fives shows is a big full house risk. By the 4 there are also 2 flush draws.

Im always weary of the better flush if mine isn't that great!

I mean there is always the pocket pair sleeper to deal with occasionally.

Dont beat yourself up....

45  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: February 09, 2021, 08:57:24 AM
Seeing four clubs, for a second I was celebrating victory in my head... But, nope, I didn't notice those two 5s, and in the end my flush wasn't good enough to beat Yahoo's Full House. What can I say? Nice hand! Smiley

More funny it happens to me in reverse.

Sometimes I wonder why am I still in? I have to go to the history and work it out.   Smiley

I got my first ever royal flush this week.    Cool

Called it here, up the Leeds!

Here is the table.

FA Cup tonight I think, though the ball may get frozen like in rocket league.

47  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch.tv/Globb0 new poker home game - Low buy in (usualy around $300 in prizes) on: February 08, 2021, 06:50:04 PM
How do you filter and match people based on their skill levels? The tournament is going to be a bit one-sided if professional player join and they win all the money?

It doesnt matter if you are pro grinder or a recreational player because in the end its better to be lucky than to be good in poker and its a $10 buy in tournament, pro grinder usually grind on atleast $50 buy in tournament to reduce variances.

How can you prevent something like that from happening? Will it be possible to handicap regular winners or to identify them early and then rating them and ranking them in different levels? (I see you have high rollers, but you need a "Pro" / "Beginner" ranking system.  Huh

Well the good news is that swc fields are a little softer compared with any other fiat poker out there. Also in the deep run due to swc's petty structure, most of the time it will be all in pre flop so yeah its mostly about luck in swc rather than being good

@Globb0 : Yesterday was fun although I lost to misswaitwhat. KK
Glad  vs 1010, she flopped a 10 making it a set. The earlier time for the game is good enough for me to participate every week ( or atleast until I run out of chips lol )

Excellent news its more towards my timezone too.

Glad to have you as a VIP of the channel.

last night was a mess but it seems sorted now.  :/

*edt*I blew my chips last night each time I reconnected.   harumf   *edit*

Any response will be appreciated.  Wink

Its all as transparent as the bitcoin blockchain.

You can see who has won and what and decide if to play or not. It seems to have generaly gone around. There are ofc the same old names.   Smiley

Please accept my apologies for the interruptions in the stream yesterday.

I think its down to a rogue M$ windows update that trashed my PC.

Its taken half a day to get back today and I missed most of the game too so no championship points for me and lost my money.   Sad

I will get the league table updated asap

Sorry again.

I’ve read one book since I left school which was over 15 years ago (and that was Steven Gerrard’s autobiography).

The book with the mosts likes in the world!

There was like a football like and I like kicked it like.     Cheesy

haha thanks for backing my point with some stats.

Im sure looking forward to getting back to hi fiving people at the pub.

Along with the have had covid already, lockdowns and vaccinations it feels really close now.

Yee ha.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: February 05, 2021, 11:02:54 AM
ITs surely dying down again now. We are well over the Christmas get togethers that probably cost us so much ground.

The vaccines are rolling out around the world in a strange kind of international pissing contest.

Like those trumps card games you used to get.

Percentage of over 80  year olds vaccinated ?       85% damn you win that one.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 05, 2021, 10:46:34 AM
Yay Chelsea, I guess all those missing THS players worked out for us.

Here is the up to date table,

59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: February 04, 2021, 11:49:13 AM
Looking at something a bit different to the usual support resistance.

Is this a cup pattern forming? there is a nice looking bowl shape forming.

Not much volume action for a few days.

60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 04, 2021, 10:07:02 AM
Groan ofc  as a Chelsea fan.  Smiley

Here is the match up, a few doubtful players on the Tottenham side.
