The players of Luton Town will surely put up their best efforts when they play against West Ham United today but I think it might be too difficult for them to gain any points against West Ham United. I would have really liked to see Anadolu Efes as well in Final Four but unfortunately their run ended early. It still feels great to have Fenerbahçe at this level. Turkish teams have been successful in the Euroleague in the recent years. Except the last year of course. I hope we can reach the finale to feel the excitement of the chance to bring the trophy to our country.  We are the underdog against Panathinaikos according to the odds now. I'm not surprised with Real Madrid's odds.  Anadolu Efes this season was really weak and they barely got the place for the play in and that was a maximum from them this season,for next one they will need to bring better players. Panathinaikos for me is the favorite in this match and i think if they play good they woll reach the final. Real Madrid also favorite to win it all by my guess. |

I think it is now easy to decide who the trophy fits on this season from what Leverkusen displayed yesterday, not many teams can do that and now I feel really bad for myself not watching the game live. My bet will be on Leverkusen winning the finals, Atalanta is a strong match against Leverkusen not winning the finals but I believe Leverkusen are much entitled to beat Atalanta and secure the trophy. If comparing Atalanta - Liverpool, I also believe putting Leverkusen up against Liverpool will surely be an easy win for Leverkusen. If you look at the two teams that entered the final it will be a little easier to make a prediction about who will win the Europa League. Leverkusen has quite high spirits now, apart from being undefeated they have also secured the Bundesliga trophy so their motivation to win the European league title will be even higher. I also predict that Leverkusen will come out as champions even though the next match will not be easy. Atalanta cannot be underestimated because they managed to beat the favorite candidate to win as predicted by people. However, if I look at the consistency of both of them, I am more inclined to see a chance of winning for Leverkusen. However Leverkusen have a much bigger chance because they are really in the right moment now. Atalanta is the team that surprised the most this season, and it is a great advantage for them to have beaten the favorite team. But their opponents in the final are a record-breaking team, Leverkusen continues to progress undefeated and this is a great success. That's why I don't think we will see a very surprising result in the final match, my favorite team will be Leverkusen I didnt expect Atalanta to go so far. They made it to the final when no one expected them and the begining of the tournament and they have a real chance of winning the title. Congratulations to Nikola Jokic, who was selected as the NBA regular season MVP. He received the MVP award for the 3rd time in the last 4 seasons. Last season, there were people who said he should have taken it instead of Embiid, but this season, there are also those who said SGA or Doncic should have taken it instead of him. This kind of disagreement happens in most seasons. I think he deservedly won the award. I wouldn't object even if SGA won, because what he did in the Thunder is obvious. Doncic couldn't get it because the Mavericks were a little behind in the standings. Both of these players will receive the MVP award in the coming years I believe.
I think Nikola Jokic won the MVP because he didnt win it last year when he deserved it. This season he had again some really big numbers. Doncic had better numbers but didnt win due to Dallas being really low ranked in the league and that costed him the MVP. SGA played good and made some amazing results with Oklahoma but somehow i dont see him as the MVP with indivivdual quality. It was really high but not at the level of Jokic and Doncic. |

Aston Villa are looking for a miracle against Olympiacos. They lost the first leg at home, conceding four goals. Olympiakos scored in almost every attack in the first leg and El Kaabi was the shining star of the game. Aston Villa, on the other hand, after the defeat in the first leg, suffered a disappointing defeat away to Brighton in the league.
Before this match, it is worth remembering Olympiacos' result against Maccabi Tel Aviv. In that match, both games ended with the away team having the upper hand. Throughout the season Olympiacos has been a team that can score goals but also concede goals, whether home or away. However, Olympiakos are now in the semi-final and I don't think they will make any mistakes. Olympiakos will be the team to go to the final.
I dont think that they can pull of a miracle in this match. Olympiacos will defend as much as possible and go with counter attacks to score a goal. Aston Villa will need a fast goal at the start to try and have hopes of making it through. They are in bad form and i think it will be really hard for them to turn this around and make it to the final. |

Hands down, what a shocking result. We all agree that PSG - Dortmund was amazing but this one was just shocking. As I said, I had placed a bet on Real Madrid but when Davies scored a goal against Real Madrid, I thought that Bayern psychologically won against Real Madrid (They scored in Santiago Bernabéu while Real scored none) and it was 87 minute, what do you have to think, of course you think that Bayern won and we have Der Klassiker in Champion's League final but holy moly, Ancelotti made a change and Joselu came on the pitch but it was not just a come, it was second coming for Bayern. Joselu managed and scored 2 goals in 3 minutes and Real Madrid won against Bayern (and I won a pretty good ticket, up to 20x thanks Dortmund and Real Madrid). Wow, what an ending, I am still under impressions.
Real Madrid keeps getting away with this wins and i dont know how they keep doing it all these years. They are one of the most luckiest clubs in the world,first a mistake by Nouer that turned this match around but that dissallowed goal in the end is just insane. I dont know what the ref was thinking not to allow the play and give that late goal to Bayern Munich. |

I wanted the season to end for such a long time. Was chasing that first place the entire time and was 1st 2nd and 3rd the entire season and now im second again. I messed up on Luton and Everton match and lost some really big points that could have pushed me really up in the first place. Leverkusen is doing wonders this year, and one of the biggest reasons for this is naturally Xabi Alonso. It would not be normal for such a coach to leave the team after such a season. If they want success so much, they should not disrupt the dynamics of the team.
Leverkusen is very close to breaking records this year, it is not uncommon for so many championships to be won in a single season. I respect them so much this year
I feel like if he wanted to leave, he could have found a team that would have paid a lot more for him and that is why leaving would have made sense. Even right now, if he decides to go back on his word and go to another team, he can find a team that would be willing to pay double what Leverkusen is paying for him and in that situation Leverkusen has nothing to do, they have to just accept the fact that he will leave. Even right now, we know that he will stay next season, but if they do well enough next season and win something there, maybe repeat Bundesliga title again, then Xabi will definitely go to a bigger club for sure. What Xavi Alonso has done this season is crazy if he stays unbeaten through all competitions it will be historic and they are so close and they know it. 2 more matches in the league 2 more in europe league and an easy cup final. I think its possible that they win it all. About the situation that Alonso stays in the club is big,i think they must offer him a bigger contract after the season ends so that both sides are satisfied. No doubt Alonso can coach any team now but i would like to see him at least one more season in Leverkusen to play champions league with them. |

So how many lost games has Tottenham in a consecutive way as I cannot remember the last game that they have not lost as of lately,sure they had some pretty strong opponents one after another but going and losing all these games without even taking just a single point,I think in 4-5 games even a weak team could have gotten one point.This shows how unpredictable the Premier League is and the teams that are there can show us quite the opposite performance compared to what they did show in the first games of the season,we see how Tottenham is losing every game while we also see how Chelsea is winning every game and they are barely conceding goals while doing so.
Now its a different story i guess since the first part of the season. Chelsea back then was really bad and was playing hot and cold and mostly losing the matches and now Tottenham that played well in the first part cant get a single point in the second part of the season. Pretty much some wierd stuff happening in the league. I think that Tottenham with this dosent have any hopes of reaching the champions league spot. |

If Tottenham wins all its remaining games, it will gain 72 points, and Liverpool already has 75 points - Liverpool does not even have a mathematical chance of being outside the top 4. Aston villa needs to win two more matches in order to secure UCL spots, which will help club to secure 73 points in total. it's one point more compared to the what can be achieved by totenham by winning all of remaining games. Even though totenham will able to get 72 points but villa will qualify as it has no chance anymore. I think that vilal must be only using everything they have to get 6 points in order to lock UCL spot. Villa can do that caused by it will have ez fixtures. It's impossible to think villa will not able to secure 6 points. Aston Villa still have to play with Liverpool and Crystal Palace (the game with Brighton is now almost over and Brighton winning 1-0) so it is far from obvious that Aston Villa will be able to score 6 points. I’m watching this Minnesota Timberwolves vs Denver Nuggets game and Anthony Edwards looks like he’s trying to do something special. The Nuggets have battled back into the lead after being down huge in the first few minutes. It seems like Denver has the momentum now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Anthony Edwards ends this game with 50.
Anthony Edwards is on fire in the first half of this match. He scored 25 points by half time and i think by the end of the match he will score 40+ points. Denver got back into the match after a bad start and is leading at halftime even tho Denver aint playing like they know. Jokic missed a lot of shots but got 15 points and i think Gobert cannot guard him at all. |

Burnley was threatening Newcastle by making so many inaccurate shots. They squandered all of their chances and yeah they deserved this results caused by burnley was so underperform against newcastle. I goal meant nothing to the club, as it continues to lose three points and it must prepare for the next season in the championship league. Burnley must start from scratch again next season in order to compete in the EPL again. Newcastle destroyed it as if it were nothing and burnley should have learned a lot from this season to perform better. i think it can go back to the EPL again after next season. Kompany's squad lacks quality players. Burnley's performance was very different from the early season. It appears that the club lacks good players in its squad. Another series reached Game 5 Tonight we saw another great playoff game. It was very low scoring game, but that's true beauty of playoffs. Such defensive game is something what Fenerbahche preferred, but Monaco won even without playing their typical basketball. Sad that such great game was ruined by accident in the end. Fenerbahche fans attacked Monaco players. Luton really really needs a win here, like big time. They are not financially a strong team, and to be perfectly honest I have zero idea how they managed to be good enough to come here, but they are not a big populated area, so it won't be easy for them to come back to here at premier league, they need to stay as long as possible, in order to get enough money from everything, to be able to get better.
If they go down, then I am not sure how they could come back because even the first one was a shocker to begin with. They need the win, and stay, so that they could get a lot of money and be better next season, because with that kind of money rewarded if they stay, they may end up getting better defense and do better next season, or at least they could hope they would.
It is not quite a good thing that all day three clubs that can from championship are going to be relegated this season. I had expected one of them to at least stay back and currently the one that has the ability to stay back and the English Premier League is Luton. This is second half of the match and they are battling with Everton. They are currently sharing the points but if Luton could possibly get all the three points they will be temporary of the relegation zone pending the next match of Nothingham forest. At this crucial moment, it is very difficult to win matches. So, if Luton can't win tonight, they should atleast not lose. What do you expect from a team coming from Championship? Do you expect them to compete that have the Premier League experiences already. My dear the EPL is not an easy ride for Luton and the others. However they fought so hard and managed to stop some big teams winning the EPL. Yet its not enough they need to have successfully remained in the EPL. Luton today would have won their match but i dont know what is the problem with them missing all the chances they had to score. I wasn't impressed with their performance today sincerely speaking. Luton had the momentum the entire match and was better then Everton but just couldnt score the second goal. Had my money on Luton but those two big chances in extra time are just unlucky. What Olympiacos did tonight. I think everyone was surprised. I really didn't expect this result.
Everyone thought Aston Villa would win but Olympiakos won the game with a 2 goal difference. They are one step closer to the final.

That's what it means to do your job perfectly, like Unai Emery, when it seems that it has always been this good. Leverkusen is not only close to the final, but is almost certain to be the winner of this competition. The 2-0 victory at the Olimpico was the most valuable asset when playing in the second leg, Leverkusen could play more calmly because they didn't have the slightest burden. Maintaining victory in the first leg is not too difficult because you will be playing in front of your supporters. They only need to maintain their defense so they don't concede more than one goal if they want to qualify for the final without having to go through 2X15 minutes of extra time. The treble winner is still very wide open for Leverkusen, their consistent performance makes it easier to win the Europa League and DBF Cup trophies.
In the second leg, Leverkusen will continue to remain unbeaten this season, because Leverkusen certainly won't want to lose in the second leg, even by just one goal. Even though losing by one goal can also send Leverkusen to the final of the Europa League this season, Leverkusen will definitely try to hold Roma to a draw in the second leg so that Leverkusen will feel more satisfied when they enter the final. And regarding trophies this season, I am also quite sure that Leverkusen can get two more trophies at the end of this season, namely the DFB trophy and also the Europa League trophy. Roma will surely go on all out attack in Germany but i think Leverkusen can win with counter attacks and reach the final. What an intresting match between Chelsea and Tottenham. Chelsea finally looking good like in the old days and lately they have been playing really good. Big win for them 2-0 and sadly that Tottenham didnt score at least one in this match. But finally after a few weeks i am back at first place by just half a point,but it feels really good.
No doubt a good timely win for the Chelsea with this now they are in for the 6th spot and this could be interesting because all three teams are on same level of performance any team can go through for the 6th spot which could be created good fight. For the pool I am having worst results in last few rounds so now out of the top 20 spots which is worst end for me but hopefully will try to have something better in coming season. @Joca you are good, hopefully you will be able to stay here for the last few rounds as well, good luck. Wow, it's unexpected that Olympiacos destroyed Barcelona so easy when previous games were so close. 17-0 run in 1st half decided game and it looked that Barca gave up early, already thinking about Game 5. We will have game 5 between Panathinaikos and Maccabi too. In 4th quarter there was moment when it looked that Maccabi controls the game and will win this series. But in the end, PAO took control over and won the game. Euroleague playoffs couldn't be better than this. Now we only need Game 5 between Monaco and Fenerbahche. I had a discussion with a colleague the other day about Euroleague and how uneventful it is. Let me explain...
He claimed that since it's a closed league, it's in their interest to participate in some minor match fixing so they earn more from tv rights and licenses. For example, with matches at this stage running at a best of three, if any team was to win within the first three matches, it would have left the last two matches never played with their opponent already knocked out.

And AFAIK, money from TV rights doesn't belongs on how many games they play, they have fixed contracts That hardcore win by Olympiacos is just huge and now anything can happen in game 5 and their confidence must be huge after this heavy win. Panathiankos same with game 5 and i think they will win at home and go to the final 4. While the Oly vs Bar match anything can happen. This season we have some intresting matchups in the playoffs and cant wait to see the results of the game 5 |
