It was like a miracle for Empoli that they didn't lose this match against Milan in San Siro. Because Milan had one of their most dominant matches of the season honestly. They fully dominated the match from the beginning to the end in every way I mean. They had full control with a 70% ball possession and Empoli had only two goal attempts in the whole match.
But despite all of this Milan still couldn't win here. This was one of their unluckiest days of the season. After seeing that absurd victory over Napoli away I waited for them to destroy Empoli as well. But football doesn't always work in the same way of course. Now this is a big chance for Roma to leave Milan and Inter both behind in the standings by one victory.
Empoli was so bad today that i dont know how they got this point. Milan in attack was terrible but they had the ball the entire game and dominated. But Milan just didnt know how to score a goal today plus Var cancelled one goal for them so good news for Inter |

Winning that match against Benfica away was a really good success for Porto indeed. It was crucial for them to increase their chance to catch up with them. But I don't think there is a big increase though. Because the point gap is still seven points while we are entering last seven weeks in the season. Porto really need some kind of a miracle to take the lead from Benfica from now on. They will hope for Benfica's form to start getting worse thanks to this loss which is not likely in my opinion.
Benfica are still a part of the Champions League as well but I think they can still continue to keep the balance between two tournaments. I think Benfica's huge effort really deserves the Liga Portugal title this season.
It wasn't most beautiful game, none of teams haven't showed something extraordinary, but Porto were a bit better. Don't want to go into conpiracy theories like in post above because for it I would need to have some kind of evidence. Now gap between teams is 7 points, Porto still keep minimal hope, but they need miracle. Porto schedule is easier, Benfica is going to face Sporting and Braga. Even if they will lose both games, it's just 6 points, not enough. And Porto don't have right to make mistakes. I made a big bet and I am not sure how that's going to look. I know that I shouldn't have made such a big messy bet, but it just felt right to do so. I wagered on all Milan, Inter, Napol, Atalanta, Juventus and Roma to win. I know that sounds silly and most probably we are not going to see them all win and I do not know why I did a bet I had absolutely no trust about at all.
But, I just felt like that was a bet that I couldn't miss out because they are all playing teams that are weaker than them if you ask me. Surely Lazio-Juventus will be hard, but the odds of these games combined makes it 43 odds give or take and that's just too huge for me to pass up. This is why even though I know I will lose, I gave it a shot anyway.

We would have heard about Graham Potter's dismissal during Abramovich's time in charge as Chelsea owner; it was a one-man decision back then, but it is not in this case. I didn't want Graham to leave the club in this way; he was a fantastic coach before joining the team. Maybe he didn't have what it takes to coach a large team yet, but I wish him the best of luck. The Chelsea management led by Todd Boehly was really patient with Graham Potter. He was given all the necessary things he needed such as quality players and freedom to coordinate the team but he failed to prove that he could perform his task effectively. Roman Abramovich wouldn't have endured this poor performance for a long time, Potter would have gone home many months ago. The task on Lampard now is very huge. He needs to boast the confidence of the team and gain the players' respect. I hope his presence will make players such as Mason Mount and other players sign new contracts and remain in Chelsea. Their biggest boast will be if they can beat Real Madrid. I dont think that Potter had time in Chelsea. I dont even think he was 6 months in the club and he got so many new signings that it is just impossible to get them all togheter. I'm shocked to see people voting for the Warriors. I have to be honest, I haven't been paying as close of attention as I have in years past, so I'm not real sure if they have mostly underperformed due to injuries, or if they are simply just not having a great year. The Bucks seems to have the best all around team, and arguably the greatest player on earth. They've won one before (even though I'm not sure it really counts), so they have the experience as well.
Well they have all players recovered and we know when they go into playoffs its a whole other team. In the ordinary league they just go and reach the playoffs but once they reach it and playoffs starts they are an entire new team. Also i think Denver might surprise us this year also for me the favorites are the Boston Celtics. |

Could be the case, could be not. I think when Ronaldo arrived they were 1st rank and now they are 2nd rank. The issue for Al-Nassr is that they are not going to play against Al-Ittihad anymore. In other words, they can only hope for the other team to fail. Even if they don't face each other again, Al Nassr are winning more and more and have made a lot of progress, they have real chances to win the championship and I believe that this could be possible. If even so, they don't win, Al Nassr's growth this season will certainly be a decisive criterion for them to be able to evolve and assemble a more prepared team for next season. Inter are the most out-of-form team among the big teams of the league now. Because they lost four of their last five matches which is quite alarming for them. Because this horrible form is endangering their chance to finish in top four this season. Maybe they are still in this area but these point losses have helped the teams below catch up with Inter a lot. Even Juventus have got very close to them despite the punishment they got. I really don't understand what the real issue behind this is.
Inter were a really good attacking team first of all. They had a great scoring potential. Their problem was with defending but they solved it too. However they started to lose momentum again. This can even affect their performance against Benfica in the CL badly as well.
Well with how bad their form currently is i dont think they will bounce back easily. The next match they are playing against Salernitana in an away game and if they dont get points here i dont think they will be able to recover from that and if they dont they wont be in the champions league next season. |

What is clear, I still support Arsenal. yes, as a true fan I am happy to see Arsenal win game after game. As we know, the Premier League only leaves 9 more matches for Arsenal until this season ends. 8 points ahead of City, does not make Arsenal in a safe position.
Although Arsenal are way better than Liverpool this season but I see the odds are close between the two teams. It will be good for City to see gunners drop points tho even though it will be difficult to happen. City will face Southampton, I assume there will not be much challenge there. Yeah that was incredible, I just turned on to see the games and surprise, Newcastle are leading with 2 goals to 0 in less than 15 minutes of the game! Hopefully they will continue pushing and not just return to the defence positions.

Manchester City beat Liverpool by 4 goals to Liverpool’s 1. Arsenal is currently winning the game against Leeds by 4 goals to 1. Both games has seen a lot of goals. And between the two games, I think the Manchester City vs Liverpool game was much more exciting. The game with Leeds is almost boring as Arsenal has dominated the game with little or no action from the Leeds side. And it was obvious to me that Arsenal would win the game as Leeds is not a threat to Arsenal.
I bet Arsenal would have loved to keep a clean sheet but I guess Leeds needed to have a goal to console themselves with. The game is into the 4 minute extra time given by the referee. The game would probably end the way it is, 4:1.
Easy win for both Man City and Arsenal,didnt expect Man City to destroy Liverpool,but Liverpool is just awful this season and a win for City was expected. So in other words, Tuesday will have again Juventus-Inter, 1st leg in Turin.
The winner of this match (2 legs) should be the winner of Coppa Italia whether it is Inter or Juve. Fiorentina is a good team and should win against Cremonese. This possibility for last season was still a reality but for now I think not, Verona is still not doing well with its current condition so it is indeed very difficult to maximize a draw with Juventus who are in good condition.
I'm still quite confident about Juventus in this match because apart from this it's an opportunity for them to continue to earn points and compete, seeing from Verona's current condition they will only fully defend in this match.
Juve is chasing a spot in Champions League next season although the sanctions they got and the gap that they have to reduce in order to achieve this objective. Verona needs these three points so they can make a step to get out of the relegation zone but overall Juve chances to win are bigger. Juventus has a difficult schedule. I think that they are fighting hard on both tournaments and i think both are really important is if Juventus dosent make it to the europe spot they would need to win the cup to reach europe,so all matches for them are important.
