He was a good coach all of this seasons in Bayern and after a little bad result against Leverkusen they sack him. They should have had more patience with him. He got them in champions league so far and should have stayed at least until end of the season. |

well, Alcaraz in a fit condition is one of the best player of the seed and clear impossible to be beat. But let's see, when top players are playing is not uncommon to see some surprises.
The biggest surprises that I have seen was yesterday in the match Murray vs Lajovic.
Also Djere seems able to fight at good level against Sinner (previous match he was winner...)

Gerrard was really poor at Villa, he deserved to lose his job. I don’t blame him for taking it initially though. For Gerrard this was a bad decision to go to such a weak club. He needed a bigger club so he could try and achive something bigger . With Villa it wasnt possible and now he will need to find a new club and after getting sacked it will take some time to find a good club that will take him. |

I don't think any team feels safe in its current position. Starting from Lazio to Juventus, they still have the same opportunity to win the top four positions. I certainly really enjoyed the competition between the teams. However, of the six competing teams, only Lazio and Atalanta can fully concentrate on Serie A, while the other teams must concentrate on other competitions.
No team in top four currently are safe with their positions and they can slip over the top four any time. However, it is not true to say their chances to finish with a position within top four is the same. They have advantage and disadvantage differently from their current positions, total points they gained so far and next fixtures. Especially Juventus have less chances among those clubs but they have best form than all opponents. Their seventh position is solely because of their unlucky 15-point deduction but they are climbing up again and starting to challenge other clubs again. With how good Juventus is playing currently for me there is no doubt that they will reach the top 4 positions even with this -15 points deduction. Atalanta for me wont be able to keep up with other teams. Roma and lazio will fight for that one spot for sure in the end. |

There is a Newcastle - Manchester United game on this game week which is important for top four at the same time.
Manchester United are already in a better situation in the league now. But the problem is that they can't win a game for two weeks. First the huge loss against Liverpool and after that the 0-0 draw against Southampton. The last one could have been winnable if Casemiro didn't get a red card though. Anyway their job will not be easy in an away game here. Newcastle have started to improve their form with a two-game winning streak. I think both teams will score and a draw is also likely to be seen.
This will be a crucial match for both teams. I think for Newcastle is a bigger deal because they have three points less then Man Utd. Good thing for Newcastle is that they won the last match and now they got some confidence for the upcoming match. While Man Utd is hot and cold so we can expect anything from them. |

I have the feeling that Alcaraz, despite his age, is already much further in tennis than the other players of his generation. He just has a lot of talent. That also explains his position and recent tournament victory. It will be very difficult to beat this player in the future. I don't see many other players besides Djokovic who can beat him. Djokovic is of course still the very best at the moment, but things could change soon. And on clay Alcaraz might be better at the moment. The question is where Nadal is at the moment, could he show his top form in this edition of the French open? Then we could see great matches between Alcaraz and Nadal.
Alcaraz will dominate the stage after Djokovic retires for sure. It wont be like in the period when we had the big three. We had the game under control until the 60th minute, when Potter decided to bring in those average 4 British passport holders to ruin the game. I've never seen a coach so sentimental in his selection when we have Kante, Mudryk, Stelling, and Maduake on the bench. Potter was just poor with his substitution again. we are much behind Manchester City in terms of winning attitude, when City are leading by 1-0 the coach deploy more forward players to wreak more havoc while Potter deploy defenders to sit and protect a lone goal lead. from 10th to 10th is killing me.. Sharing a point with a sinking relegation bond Everton is a crime !! Take Harry Potter Magic out of our club....... ________________++++_______________ very tough round but i manages to get 4 points and moved 2 places up Simply awful. Well they found the equaliser in the end and stole the points as that was the best they could. On the other way Chelsea failed to defend and drop points where it could have been perfect 3 points for them. It was quite a disappointment to see Arsenal crashing out of the Uefa Europa League as Arsenal was one of the top performing team in the English Premier League this season. With Manchester City on the chase behind Arsenal on the table, I think the players of Arsenal should know the consequences would be bad if they lose crucial points in the next upcoming match against Crystal Palace. I guess Arsenal will be able to continue their winning streak in the English Premier League and beat Crystal Palace.
Yeah that was a heartbreaking one. What's gone is gone and we need to look towards about the one thing we want right now. 11 games to go and we need to focus on those instead of focusing on the ones we lost and crashed out. This chelsea team is just awful. I had a moneyline on them and they just dropped the win in last minutes at home. Chelsea with this draw dosent have any hope to reach any european spot. They lack someone who can finish otherwise they would have got at least two goals by the end of this first half. They are building up some goot attacking plays but nothing in result in the end. They need someone to put the ball into the net and find them the advantage in the second half if they want to win here. Everton are having trouble defending them as we saw in first half so it's an easy job for them. I know Chelsea's finishing isn't great, but it's not entirely down to the incompetence of the players. Everton were very tightly defended in the first half, Jordan Pickford's performance also helped. But in the end Chelsea did score, Joao Felix did. Considering that Bayern Munich is going to be hosted by Bayern Leverkusen tomorrow, Dortmund seems to have an easier match this round. The importance of this round comes from the fact that it's the last match before the international break, and the first match after the break will be against Bayern Munich. Therefore, I think Dortmund will put all their weight into winning this match to at least save the current points gap if Bayern won as well.
I'm watching the live odds, and they look high for Dortmund to win as it's now 1.55. I think it deserves to throw some bucks on this selection.
It looks like it was easy money (at attractive odds) - after the first half 4-1 and the game is done. I don't know if Dortmund will be able to resist Bayern away, but I'm even glad that it won't be a formal game (as is usually the case at this stage of the championship), but a real game for leadership. If Dortmund loses a head-to-head match and loses the championship again, then it will be fair. Really bad results today and i think o most no one got some big points. Really hard to get any points today. Barely got 1 from this 4 games. Tottenham really knocked me down with 3:3 in last minutes and that is really dissapointing. Hopefully i get some correct scores for the rest of the matches in the round

Lyon hosted Nantes at home. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. We can say that it was a good result for Nantes, because even 1 point is important for them. Lyon, on the other hand, continues to lose points by drawing 3 weeks in a row. If it wasn't for the points lost for them in these 3 weeks, they would be in 5th place now. Now they are also aware that there is no compensation for these point losses. It was a game they could have won but it didn't happen. They conceded an early goal, lukeba scored an own goal in minute 2 and lacazette replied in minute 24 but the game ended in a draw with no more goals.
Lyon with this draw lost their chances for playing in europe next season . For such a big team this is awful and i think they need new signings and a new coach so they can try and focus on getting into those first five places. Its a big shame that such a big club in france is in the middle of the table. |

Dortmund are going to play a home game against Koln this time. This is a really comfortable game for them on paper actually. Koln are a team that have been out-of-form for many weeks in the league. They don't have the strength to resist this Dortmund honestly. Dortmund are a team that is really hard to stop these days. I know Schalke did this but it was still not a loss in the end.
Dortmund would like to make up for the draw they got against Schalke as well. They are in a title race with Bayern Munich now so they need to be as consistent as possible. I think Dortmund will be victorious in this game.
After that dissapointment against Schalke they need to win this if not Bayern Munich will have a big advantage and if Dortmund arent close to them i think its game over for them. Dortmund need to stay close or Bayern will take every chance and win the title easily like they always do |

The Turkish teams were a big disappointment in this tournament unfortunately. The second legs were just terrible for Sivasspor and Basaksehir both.
Just look at the Basaksehir - Gent game I mean. Basaksehir conceded 4 goals in 7 minutes against Gent. It is really hard to believe because in the end Gent aren't a big team such as Bayern Munich etc.. Basaksehir could have played much better home. They just lost their focus very easily which cost them too much. Sivasspor also gave up against Fiorentina easily. Fiorentina are of course a more challenging team to beat compared to Gent but this was still winnable for Sivasspor. They could have extended the matchup to extra time at least.
For me its shocking all turkish teams were able to pass the group stage and every single teams was knocked out. They needed i think just one win too pass Serbia in the club rankings so they can have a team that goes directly to champions league. Another dissapointing season for turkish teams |

Newcastle are currently still held 1-1 at Nottingham Forrest. My hope is clear that it has to end with this score if indeed they can't be beaten because in this way the margin with Liverpool is maintained by 3 points and that's what I hope for.
Of course, with the result of 1 point now, Liverpool's chance will still be very big to catch up, even though Liverpool are still not completely good because there are still some problems with inconsistency, but I'm sure they can catch up now.

Atalanta team managed to equalize early in the second half which was good considering they dominated the first half and they ended up conceiding a goal in the last minutes, now they seem in control of the ball and i think its a matter of time before scoring the second one.
Atalanta just scored an important goal and now is leading the match and with a few minutes left they will probobly win this match. Atalanta need badly three points here so they can try and grab that champions league spot. |

Sinner Alcaraz tomorrow could be one of the best match ever played between the two players. They are showing great tennis and it's clear they are playing at HIGH level ... Alcaraz is favorite but the number of wins for the opponents is 2-2 on direct match so .... nothing is sure or maybe we can expect some surprise  I would play over games in this match. I think we will see three sets for sure in this match. Alcaraz might be a slight favorite but i think Sinner wont go down that easily. Feyenoord really finished off Shakhtar Donetsk, in the 55th minute (when this post was made) they were already 4 - 0 up with an aggregate of 5 - 1, at first I doubted they could beat Shakhtar easily, but in their home match, they proved that what i think is wrong. I luckily forgot to put Shakhtar on my betting list. BTW, will there be 2 more goals in this match? I intend to place an over bet. I was expecting Feyenoord win but didn't expect 7 goals from them. And they did it only in 2/3 of the game. They stopped pressing and attacking in last period of the game. Sure it was a bad night for Shakhtar Donetsk, they scored a goal in last minutes. Nice run and one touch came from youngster Kevin Kelsy. He was probably the only positive thing for Ukrainian side today. Sevilla eliminated Fenerbahçe but it was way harder than expected. They saw how important was the two goals lead in first game. It could've gone to extra time. Anyway they are in quarter final now. They'll learn from this loss and be happy to advance, they are still the favorite of this cup. Feyenoord is the best team in this season from Dutch League with they are at the top and now have spot into quarter-final round with their next match at domestic league against Ajax is going to have big impact on league table as well but as they play today I have feeling things could be not easy for opponent even they are playing at home Shakhtar Donetsk is surely suffering badly, and now it's time for them to have some work on their weak points which will help them in next season as well. Sevilla is doing good in this competition with now they are also in last eight round even they are near the relegation zone in La Liga but things looking impressive here for them and their performance is also good even I have feeling they are not going to win because currently we have few tough opponents as well as Manchester United, Juventus and Feyenoord but still they are also impressive. Feyenord each season is improving more and more they are one of the larger clubs in Netherlands and i think are the only ones left in europe. For them i think this is one of the best seasons so far they got a chance to win the league and europe league. I dont know what happened to Shakhtar but they destroyed them so bad. Feyenord might surprise us in europe league. |
