41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft is not accepting bitcoin anymore ? on: October 28, 2015, 12:58:49 PM
It probably doesn't make any difference anyway whether they accept bitcoin or not. Nobody is forcing them to and nobody needs it anyway. But in few more years down the road when bitcoin finally gained mainstream they will automatically or willingly add bitcoin as one of the payment option for sure.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breaks 300; Now What? on: October 28, 2015, 12:36:32 PM
Just wait and see what would happen next. Either a bull run will charge through and break every resistance levels or it will just end up a flop just like what happened earlier in the year. But I see some support coming from the halving news. Also might be wondering whether the gemini launch has any positive effect on the price.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS STILL FAMOUS on: October 28, 2015, 12:28:56 PM
I agree with your opinion. First of all we have to take into consideration that there are roughly about 3600 new coins generated per day and if you consider a portion of that ended up in the open market, the buying sentiment must be really high in order to pull the price up. And yes, despite all the negativity people are still into bitcoin.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: October 28, 2015, 12:22:46 PM
Well it's not because they don't see bitcoin as a real money, they do. Sometimes it's greed at play here. Since parking bitcoin idling doesn't earn them anything as the amount stays the same they would rather gamble and have some fun with it even though potentially they will end up losing all those coin
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to be $5K-$8K ++ on: October 28, 2015, 12:16:57 PM
Before we set our aims so high, let's just wait and see what would happen in the following weeks to come. I wouldn't be surprised if this pulls back once again. Hopefully the effect is caused by the expected halving that is going to take place around mid of next year.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people dump their Bitcoins ? on: October 28, 2015, 12:06:55 PM
Sometimes people are there just for quick gains so that they can profit by buying back more bitcoin at lower price. Based on past trending that we saw happened early of the year, I can imagine people would start selling again at 310 level and then wait for the right time to buy back and ended up with more coins.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Highest Level Since August on: October 28, 2015, 12:03:46 PM
I think the problem here is whether it can maintain the level it has reached right now. This is not the first time that after it has breached the 300 level we saw some quick selling going on that eventually pulled the price back to the 220 to 240 range. Let's see if it will be different this time.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the original Satoshi account on here? on: October 28, 2015, 11:55:17 AM
It will be big news event in the bitcoin world. I mean it will make headlines. The confidence level in bitcoin will be restored and finally people would have faith in the coin. Also everyone would probably rushing over to seek his advice on how to solve all the current mess we are facing.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about vanity addresses? on: October 28, 2015, 11:30:22 AM
While i think it's cool to have a customized easy-to-remember address, for me this is something I can do without. Just imagine the amount of time and computing power needed to find the correct combination. Some people will take this as a hobby though but not me.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with coins that are no longer supported? on: October 24, 2015, 06:35:06 AM
Well there was one coin which i managed to get out fast but i actually didn't wait and hold on to it until it became completely useless before selling. If something were to end up fully abandoned and useless I guess the only thing you can do is to just put it aside.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would you do? on: October 24, 2015, 06:28:49 AM
Well I've given the thought of doing btc business opening a shop where you can actually walk in to sell or buy btc. That gives people the confidence as you get to meet in person just like over the counter but the problem is the regulation part where you can't just open a shop just like that. Probably a grocery store and having the btc as side business
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin impacts? on: October 24, 2015, 06:18:47 AM
Gave us the freedom how and what we decide to do with our money. In the future I see it functioning as a full fledge payment option although right now the impact wasn't that great but in the future things will be very much improved.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: America's new debt ceiling - $19,600,000,000,000 on: October 24, 2015, 04:56:37 AM
I wonder how high will this thing go before people finally wake up from daydreaming and realizing the truth about the real scenario. Sometimes what I don't understand is that how these things can go up so high and yet things are still not collapsing?
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever Crash and be unpopular? on: October 24, 2015, 04:49:58 AM
To say that it won't collapse is probably a statement of overconfidence. Fact is nothing is guaranteed. At this stage the biggest threat is the damage to its reputation caused by u related scams. I think overall future looks bright with good posibility that adoption will increase further and bringing bitcoin to mainstream.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: October 24, 2015, 04:44:31 AM
I think overall when you have more fiat to bitcoin exchangers become widely available that don't ask too much for your details that is when bitcoin will overtake wu. Right now despite having all the advantages we are still trying to catch up. It's a matter of time that it will happen.
56  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sweden to Become World’s First Cashless Country on: October 23, 2015, 03:11:39 PM
I think people are now taking more interest and are willing to make a change. I expect to see bitcoin to be on par with credit card and other payment options some day.
57  Other / Off-topic / Re: Babble logo looks like Bitcoin's on: October 23, 2015, 03:02:16 PM
People looking for babble might make a mistake on the logo and instead looked up bitcoin. But never mind even if it happens, I suppose that's free advertising that could help spread bitcoin popularity.
58  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MMM Global Republic of BTC - Sergei Mavrodi ponzi scheme! Stay away on: October 18, 2015, 10:39:32 AM
There's a lot of those MMM believer's in my country and they treat Sergey like a god. This scheme is like a ticking time bomb, anytime this can close and shutdown the accounts of members. Just imagine sending Bitcoins to anonymous person for a chance to get an interest of 20%.

20% is awfully a lot which should be the first tell-tale sign to warn investors to be cautious. I just don't understand why some people can be so greedy and are willing to take such unnecessary risk. If that would help, just read up their financial documents like the prospectus and financial statements or even understand their business operation. If they are scam, they will not be able to provide all that.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: October 18, 2015, 10:33:36 AM
Well, I have been slowly buying the coins with using a portion of my monthly salary received in fiat. This will averaged out to be about 220 as I managed to grab some while it was sub 200 level. I think at this stage it is still considered relatively cheap and affordable. Just don't put in everything but just remain patient and spread your buy order.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gemini failed, they said. Bitcon will not go up, they said. GOAL: 500$ on: October 18, 2015, 10:26:46 AM
I think it's quite unfair to say that Gemini will fail given it has only been launched in less than a month. As long as trade volume is picking up and moving on the uptrend, I believe overall this will have positive effect on bitcoin price. Only time will tell. And 500 seems to be a modest and achievable target. I was aiming for that as well.
