41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - CRISP for Students launched! on: May 25, 2015, 06:32:35 PM
Wall Street is definitely waking up to the massive potential of digital currency and Blockchain technology. Bitcoin will continue to play an important role. It has the name recognition and the marketcap.

DNotes is getting a lot of attention too. My LinkedIn connection with Wall Street has been growing at a fast clip.

I will speaking as a participant of a panel about digital currencies at Silicon Dragon's NY event, June 22 evening, 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at NASDAQ in New York. There will also be Venture Capital and other investors plus the Wall Street crowd. I have absolutely no doubt that DNotes is far better positioned as a long term investment across the board and the best candidate to gain mass acceptance.

This is huge news!!! I was VERY excited, but not surprised to hear the news. Wall street is waking up to Digital Currency, and DNotes has been positioned for mass acceptance since day one. Our path to mass acceptance is very different than ALL other Digital Currencies. The world is beating a path to our door. Be ready.

I would tag along with Alan, but muddy shoes and overalls does not quite fit the audience.

Smokey

This is indeed huge.  I know you will be able to represent DNotes in the best way possible to advance the currency.  The timing I believe is great as DNotes is one of the great leaders in understanding what digital currency needs in the very near future.  As the currency world changes we must be ahead of the game.  I know Alan will represent DNotes in the best light and they will understand he knows what he is talking about.  I think an educational experience for them is about to happen. Hold onto your boots.

Just had a great meeting with RJF, it was really nice to meet in person.

Thank you for coming out of your way to meet with us!

Honestly Alan, it was an honor to finally meet you and the team in person, I've been a admirer long before DNotes. I have no doubt that the team's energy, drive and business sense will take DNotes into a successful future.

PS: Still can't get over how green Michigan is! I've been all over the country and nobody has that kind of green!  Smiley

I too am glad that we were able to meet with you.  Sorry I could not be there today in the gardens, my "money" phone as I call it rang off the hook this morning and I had many emails to respond to.  Glad you were able to take the tour but it is unfortunate nothing yet is in bloom.  It is truly an amazing thing to see with all the varieties of color.  You will have to make another trip sometime around the beginning of July when we are in full bloom. Quite an amazing sight to behold.  Safe travels to you.

Students are accumulating more debt than ever. Average student debt in 2015 is over 35,000 and rapidly growing by the year.

Source: http://chicagoinno.streetwise.co/2015/05/08/average-student-debt-is-rising-for-class-of-2015-graduates/

I can't wait to see the testimonials from the 'enriched' lives of students who signed up for CRISP for Students early. I understand perfectly the whole student loan thing - I have approximately that amount myself. My sister has an approximately 80K NZD / 65K USD student loan... She will have 12% of her wages deducted for earnings exceeding $18,000 NZD until the balance is paid off. Let's be honest here, if it were not for the fact that she signed up to CRISP for Students plan, she may not have an earlier opportunity to pay it off than well into her 30's. Even if she were to earn an average of 80k NZD over the next 10 years (she is 24), she would not settle the balance - her final $5000 would clear after she turned 35. She would have lost $7400 per year to servicing student loan repayments. This would be on top of her taxes (~25k yearly), compulsory retirement savings plans (4%), council rates and living costs. If she ends up earning less than that on average, say 65k NZ over 10 years, she won't pay it off until she is about 40...

At some stage she is going to want to service an even larger debt for a property (CRISP for Housing?), it would take a combined income to afford a home loan while paying off student debt. Where is the money to come from for investments to get ahead!?

On the plus side, the 2015 graduates won't be the worst off in another year right?

Absolutely TeeGee! Smokeys Gardens has introduced me to DNotes and I am so thankful they have. I work for a company that is concerned about my future finacial state. Dnotes has so much to offer a student like me and has so much to offer other individuals. The CRISP for students is allowing me to create a plan on how I will pay off my student debt, along with my future childrens as well. In the mean time, this is costing me absolutely nothing and all i had to do was sign up! I am constantly worrying about the amount of debt I am gathering as I finish my journey through school. The MULTIPLE programs that DNotes has to off for long term finacial stability has allowed me to feel a sense of security for the future.

We appreciate your kind words Haley and know your situation.  Those scholarships only last so long then the money owed becomes very real. Would it not have been great if these programs were around a long time ago when your dad knew you were the one who would be attending college and he could have been saving for this. A little at a time would have made a HUGE dent in the money needed, if not paid for your entire college. It only takes a little at a time and it adds up quickly.  We certainly wish you the best and know that you will finish as a shining star in your class.

I received a great question from a friend today, that some of our silent readers may be asking themselves.

"Do you think that dnotes vault caused so many people to pull their coins off of exchanges that it lowered the amount of circulating coins.  Of course dnotes vault is the most secure way to store everything, but could it have negatives as well?"

My reply,

"Good question. Saving your coins in the DNotesVault does not take them out of circulation,  you are merely protecting them for a later date when they have more vaule. If there are 98m DNotes in circulation and 97.5m in the Vault, that means the most someone can buy on the exchange would be 500,000. This effectively restricts the buyable supply, even though there is no less in circulation, as a user may send their DNotes to an exchange at any time. In my personal opinion, developing a saving mentality is important for our financial network to have the greatest impact on the world. I'd like to remove mindless consumerism, and inefficiency as driving forces in the world economy, and replace them with strong savings habits and self sufficiency. I'm sure many DNotes core members would agree."

True statement! If you were looking at paper and coin money that you have in a savings account with a bank would anyone state that it is not in circulation?  The answer would be, no. The facts are that at any time that money could be withdrawn to pay a bill or purchase something. Consumers every day withdraw money from savings to spend and DNotes would not be any different.

My niece had her college graduation party today.  Poor kid said she is running at a negative cash flow and will be for quite some time. Very smart girl and had some scholarships but still did not even touch what was spent on her schooling.  She is now stuck at home with mom and dad and looking for a factory job to try to get some money.  Her brother as well graduated a couple years ago and same thing in debt up to his eyeballs.  Something has got to give when it comes to this funding.  He is working two jobs just to try to make ends meet. And when you are talking about student loans if Fanny Mae is involved the day you graduate the money needs to start being paid back.  How on earth does anyone think a college graduate can begin to pay back student loans the moment they graduate?  Don't you need a job to begin paying a loan back?

Smokeys Daylily Gardens Accepts Chicago's Digital Currency DNotes And Bitcoin For Daylily Purchases

Chicago based digital currency DNotes can now be used to buy flowers at Smokeys Gardens, one of the largest daylily growers in the world.

COLDWATER, Mich., May 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Smokeys Daylily Gardens, established in 2007 and one of the largest daylily growers in the world, becomes the first merchant to accept DNotes as a form of payment for daylily purchases. This is a pilot project to demonstrate the significant benefits to merchants in accepting DNotes, a proven stable digital currency built from the ground up with trust and integrity.

Hailing from Chicago, Bitcoin alternative DNotes was created on February 18, 2014, with an objective to meet the full functions of fiat currency as a unit of account, store of value and medium of exchange within three years. DNotes has taken a very different path since day one in building a trustworthy stable digital currency with reliable long term appreciation. Using blockchain technology, embedded features to prevent inflation and exemplary means of storage; DNotes may very well exceed fiat money in global online payments in the future.

The same team that created DNotes built Smokeys Daylily Gardens in a highly fragmented industry with a blurred line between a business and a hobby. A solid business plan with a firm commitment to be the best in class, coupled with hard work and flawless execution quickly led the seven year old company to be one of the largest daylily growers in the world.

Daylily is the second largest selling perennial plant with 79,360 registered cultivars according to AHS (American Hemerocallis Society) Smokeys Gardens offers the best selections of high end daylilies. Using a single 38 acre farm, highly trained and motivated employees, the best farm equipment and the most efficient processes, Smokeys gardens plants, harvests, and ships more daylily plants in one week than most of its competitors in an entire season.

Co-owner Rocky DeLucenay pointed out that,

"Efficiency and highly motivated employees are the key elements for small business owners to remain successful these days. We are always interested to save money where we can."

She went on to explain that 100% of the business is processed online using paypal, credit and debit cards with some personal checks. The merchant fees along with charge backs often average around 8% of revenue. The cost of transactions using DNotes is near zero, while protecting the company from fraud and chargebacks. Unlike Bitcoin which has been highly volatile, DNotes is a stable digital currency with a proven record of reliable appreciation.

DNotes also hosts long term savings plans (CRISP) for children, employees, retirees and students. Haley Mullet, a medical student and a third year employee of Smokey Daylily Gardens and new CRISP for students savings account holder states:

"Working in the farm is hard work but it has been rewarding and inspiring to work with a group of professionals who truly want to be the best in class including a genuine concern and contribution to our financial future."

To help students like Haley to keep up with costly student loans DNotes are hosting free giveaways for CRISP for Students account holders. CRISP accounts are free, the giveaway will continue with a limited supply of free DNotes.

Chicago business leader and co-founder of DNotes Alan Yong is a strong advocate of small business owners, and is concerned about underfunded retirees and the constant struggles of small business owners. The need to constantly use high interest credit cards to supplement cash flow coupled with high transaction cost, reversed charges and credit card fraud has continued to put a damper on employers' ability to support pay raises and facilitate job growth. There has never been a more urgent time for the employer and the employee to foster a new mindset of partnership to confront these new realities for mutual benefits and survival.

DNotes is committed to encourage and promote this new partnership by offering CRISP For Employee Incentive Benefits along with CRISP for Retirement, both with the potential for high returns. Accepting DNotes as payment is a significant competitive edge leading to revenue gain and meaningful savings that can be used as employee incentive benefits and owners retirement savings. As the first real world business to accept DNotes as a payment method Smokeys Daylily Gardens is ahead of the curve; well positioned to reap the rewards of instant transactions and low transaction fees.

Anyone wishing to learn more about Chicago's very own global digital currency DNotes can contact Alan Yong at contact@dnotescoin.com He will be attending the Chicago Bitcoin Meetup on Tuesday May 12, 2015 if people wish to meet him in person. http://www.meetup.com/The-Chicago-Bitcoin-Center-at-1871-Official-Meetup/

Not only do we accept digital currency we just this past week mailed out our first order to a customer who chose to use Bitcoin to pay for his purchase.  It was announced to all in the company that our firts BTC order was getting process and shipping out!  I spoke with the customer after the purchase and he stated it was very easy to complete. Another thing about being in business and accepting digital currency is our company does not have to wait on funds.  Unlike credit cards which the funds are not deposited into our account for 3 days with digital currency it is deposited immediately.  We could potentially lose money and this has actually happened twice where a customer did a chargeback while product was in transit. 6 days later you find yourself in a battle to get paid for what the customer already has in his/her possession. That costs companies money and everyone pays for it in costs associated with credit cards.  Most consumers have no idea that the companies get charged everytime they use a credit card... and it depends on the card so that fee is not a fixed cost it is variable depending on the card. The more perks you get with your card the more it costs the merchant.  Figure it out someone has to pay for those perks they certainly are not free. You can average it but it is by no means fixed.  Why do you think we dropped AMEX? Fees, Fees and more fees.  Why do you think AMEX is not accepted by many companies? They charge the most out of any credit card company. Smokeys Daylily Gardens accepts DNotes and Bitcoin but sorry no AMEX!  Haley has already claimed her first DNotes with the CRISP for Students.  She is a very bright young lady who makes excellent grades and we want to do everything we can to help her succeed in becoming a doctor.  Who knows I may need her some day to fix my worn out back or knees from messing around in the gardens so we will do everything in our power to help her succeed. To anyone who is on here reading no matter if you are in need of daylilies or not check out our website when you have some time to look at some beautiful daylilies.  It is just fun to browse through and relaxing, we hear it all the time.  visit www.smokeysdaylilygardens.com  You can also see the gardens throughout the year as we now have a camera shot of part of the gardens in front of the pond. Nothing in bloom yet but you just wait around July 4 give or take a week or two and those fields will be in bloom. A sight to behold for certain.

Rocky did a great job relaying the CryptoMoms message, while brining people up to speed on some current happenings in our industry. I'd say she aced that interview.

Thanks for the compliment.

For those of you who know and those who do not know I am one in the same "Rocky" on Cryptomoms. Thank you all for the very kind words about the interview.  It actually came out of nowhere and I was more than willing to help this gentleman out with his questions.  We must get women involved in their finances and what better way than to speak the truth about how women (in general) do not or have not taken control of their finances only to find out too late that they should have. I certainly hope I summed up what we have all been talking about over the past year and that I have done right by you all as well.  Here is to the next chapter, onward and upward!!

Hi everyone, I just found Dnotes and am doing research on It, Is there anything of great importance about this currency that I should know about.

Welcome, theleximus! IMHO, it's this currency's solid commitment to connecting its programs to the outside world that makes it outstanding.

Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia

Hi Theleximus, best thing you can do is to read this forum from the beginning.  It will describe along the way the vision DNotes developers have and plans moving forward.  It is quite a read but very intuitive as to the intentions and possibilities presented. Welcome.

This is very interesting,

"Dogecoin Founder Exits Crypto Community Citing 'Toxic' Culture" - http://www.coindesk.com/dogecoin-founder-bitcoin-toxic/

"The Australian native went on to present his opinion that digital currency participants have done little to create a community that is inclusive to all, citing the recent support of Kentucky Senator and US Tea Party member Rand Paul as evidence."

I'm glad I don't frequent the Doge forums... much more civilised here!

That is a very sad expression of frustrations. However, I totally understand the disgust like the Mintpal Moola experience he had to put up with.

DNotes clearly recognized that our industry needed a cultural change if digital currency were to gain mass acceptance. Money is an important tool as a medium of exchange, used by all people, irrespective of gender, race or net worth. We have work long and hard to ensure that everyone is treated with respect and get our full support when needed. We started out with the shared stake philosophy in an effort to get DNotes into the ownership of as many people as possible. Our CRISP For Students will continue that tradition for sometime so that many students will have some ownership of DNotes without having to pay for it to get started. This again is the DNotes difference and we will continue to help build a culture of mutual respect for mutual benefits.

I've seen similar feelings expressed by women involved in Bitcoin--this sense that it's very white male dominated and in some cases even exclusive. I've noticed that there are two aspects to the cryptosphere: The first is the technology itself and the various coins and so forth. That part of it doesn't really have any entry requirements other than figuring out the mechanics of setting up a wallet and transferring funds and then finding the right websites on which to conduct business. If you know how it works, then you can use it. In that sense it's very unbiased. Or, I guess the bias is in favor of those who are more computer savvy than most, but it's not like anyone out there can't learn and then be a part of it.

The second part of the cryptosphere is the aggregation of human beings who are involved, and whatever kinds of associations they have with each other which collectively makes up the "community." This is the part that I hear people complain about the most. Some of the people involved in the "community" are truly obnoxious. It's not hard to find them on this forum. Lots of the movers and shakers in the "community" are primarily people who are very good with computers but who maybe lack social skills and graces. Some of those people (I'm sure with the best of intentions) can make you feel like an idiot for asking a basic question or not understanding a concept that seems obvious to them. And even if you don't run afoul of anyone there are a lot of assumptions people make about you just because you're here--i.e., that you're a white male computer geek with a libertarian bent. On this last point I've for the most part not made any great effort to correct people's assumptions of who I am even when false. Most of the time it's not relevant to the discussion anyway.

For the last two years I've focused very much on the first aspect of the cryptosphere--the mechanics--and not worried too much about my involvement in the social aspects. Part of the beauty of cryptocurrency is that you really don't need a "community" per se to make it work. You just do your thing with your cryptos and the various block chains duly record it and the whole network is based on decentralized machines anyway. If I transact with someone using my cryptos, say I buy a coin on an exchange that someone else is selling, I really don't care if the person on the other end of the transaction likes me or agrees with my political views or even knows anything about me. The main thing that temporarily brings us together is the transaction, and then we go our separate ways. I put up with a lot of the rude stuff that's pretty common here and just focused on why I was here if things got rough.

Then I got more involved in CryptoMoms and started to see how much better it can be when people interact using basic grace and courtesy type of manners. Simple things like saying please and thank you and acknowledging that you at least heard the other person even if you don't agree with everything they said. And the beauty of basic professionalism. Also things like sandwiching difficult requests within very upbuilding and affirmative statements, and all around good conversations. That's making me start to rethink the importance of the social aspects of the cryptosphere, and see how much the lack of social graces that is so prevalent really truly is a turnoff to lots of people, and may even be an entry barrier. I've gotten involved with lots of projects here, mostly alt coins. On a technical level some are definitely better than others. Some have positively brilliant code underlying them. But I'm seeing that none of that matters if the community working on the project does not conduct itself in a professional manner both internally and in dealing with outsiders. From a technical perspective I'm not sure that DNotes has anything particularly brilliant going for it. It's a scrypt coin with no bells and whistles as far as I can tell, one of many. However, the DNotes development team and community hands down has the highest level of professionalism I've encountered anywhere in the cryptosphere. It's that high level of professionalism which is going to be the reason DNotes ultimately outshines many of the other alt coins which may be more technically brilliant but whose communities lack professionalism.

In conclusion the social aspects do matter, and they matter a great deal. Without good social graces and basic professionalism, people burn out and leave. The projects that are going to go mainstream and attract people from outside the cryptosphere are going to be the ones that are conducted with the utmost professionalism from day one.

With that said, when one encounters lack of professionalism in the cryptospace, the answer isn't complaining about it loudly and letting it get you down or leaving in a huff. The answer is to conduct oneself professionally and whenever possible, to create space where that professionalism is valued and nurtured. The DNotes developers and community have done just that. Very quietly and very effectively. I suspect I'm not the only one who's noticed.

Don't you think also that perhaps part of the problem is that it has been understood that most of the crypto world has been youngsters who want to make a quick buck. They are the ones with little patience because it seems they want what they want and they want it now.  They cannot see two feet down the road let alone years down the road. The people behind DNotes are not looking at the now, they are looking at the future of what is to be and with the systems which have been put in place and where they are leading to makes me understand to jump on board with DNotes as it has been steady as she goes.   Keep up the good work and keep pushing forward to achieve the end goals of a currency with a plan and a future.

I had a very good meeting with a Chicago Law Firm yesterday. Zach and his team at Liliak Law were very gracious, knowledgeable, and eager to learn more about DNotes and its ecosystem. Our business model is so different; it is never easy to explain in a short period of time, why we are so unique. Zach has been very diligent and prompt in communicating with me on many occasions. I am confident that they can represent us well at the appropriate time.

I also had a great telephone conversation with Daliah Saper and one of her colleagues at Saper Law earlier this week. Daliah is a rising star and an expert in laws governing social media and the Internet. She has frequently appeared on TV. Daliah has been very gracious and will refer us to people who may be interested.

Here are the possibilities as I see them at this time. We can treat Chicago just like the rest of the world, using our general mass media campaign. Since I reside in this area, we can target certain segments of the market like Universities, Colleges, small business owners and certain organizations. We can also go big and partner with the Chicago high-tech communities, universities, local and state government as well as the investment community. It will also be very helpful to have the strong support of the mainstream media, which based on my findings has been totally lacking.  Given the huge potential of Digital Currency and Blockchain Technology in job and wealth creation, this is a gigantic undertaking I am willing to spearhead if there is sufficient local support, including the local news media.

In my previous and subsequent posts you will note that I am extremely impressed by what J.B. Pirtzker and Chicago 1871 has accomplished based on a 2 part article by Jim Dallke of Chicago Inno publication.

Here is what I am planning to do. I will take the next 6 to 8 weeks to determine if there is sufficient local interest to form an exploratory committee to explore the feasibilities of what an epicenter of digital currency and blockchain technology could be based on along the possible theme as follows:

“Epicenter of Digital Currency & Blockchain Technology”

“Digital Hub for Blockchain technology”

“Global Center of Digital Innovation and Blockchain Technology”

I will keep the community posted if there is new development in my efforts:

Really good to have Dyna heading proyect and spreading DNotes to society, this step isnt done for almost 99% of coins, and be sure only ones that cultivate can collect. We are going in good way sure!

tip recived, thanks DNotes  Cheesy

Everything about this is fascinating, the articles, the ideas, the potential of witnessing the start of something so big that it is game changing for the industry and for the the lucky city that makes the first move.

Taking this all in...  I am almost at a loss for words... and that doesn't happen often.

Good luck Dyna - you are the best person for this job!

Thanks, Chase. This could be the biggest challenge of my life time. I believe in it. I am very passionate about it. I am capable mapping out a master plan with winning strategies. I can motivate, train, guide and direct those who want to be part of the team. I can lead the thirsty horse to the water but I can not force it to drink. This will be a very interesting case. And is it recorded here in case it becomes historic. Stay tuned. We may like you to have the honor to be the historian.

You are absolutely correct Chase. Alan has the drive, tenacity, and experience to make this happen and that motivates me even more.
You hit it right on the money. The drive and tenacity displayed by Dyna has been infused in the entire DNotes team. A "can do" attitude goes a long way in any endeavor. We have a long road ahead of us. I doubt there is another team that could emulate us.

This reminds me of our Daylily business. We are so far ahead of the competition that we could write a book on it, invite them to our operation, SHOW them how we do it, and they still could not match us. Part of this is because most others would not put in 100 hours a week (not just working, working our ASS OFF) for weeks on end when needed (like we did). Part of this is because most others, after working 12 or 14 hours, would not discuss strategy and plan for world domination of the Daylily World until midnight (like we did). MOST of it was in the planning. If you do not plan for it, it WILL NOT HAPPEN.

We PLAN on DNotes being the "Trusted, Stable Currency of the Future".

Smokey

That is one thing I learned from working with both of these guys. The monumental tasks that can be accomplished, though seemingly impossible.

That too is why working late, very late hours at times even though you may not want to, you do it so you can be successful. This means doing it each and every day even though you may tire of something or not feel like writing an article, or not feel like taking that phone call on a Sunday evening at 9:00.  You do what you have to do each and every day at each and every moment to become successful and to be around the next day, week, month and year. Each and everyone needs to do their part without exception and to the greatest of their ability on each and every task. Expecting someone else to take up your slack does not contribute to the team effort. That is why I love the DNote community each and everyone is doing their best to make DNotes a success even if there are bumps along the road.  Nothing cannot be overcome with great spirit, attitude, effort and commitment.  Keep up the great work and if you are slacking at times say to yourself "what can I do to make the DNotes community and experience a better place"! There will come a time when the struggles of the crypto world will not be so great that will be the time to take a deep breath.  Congrats again to everyone involved!

As a part of our PR campaign to build awareness for DNotes and its ecosystem we are testing an aggressive Tweeter campaign starting today. If the test is sufficiently successful we will continue with increased intensity till the end of the year.

Here is a sneak peek of our Twitter campaign:

DNotes twitter profile info:

World's first digital currency savings plans for retirees, kids, students and everyday people sponsored by DNotes ($NOTE). Cryptocurrency with unique long term vision.

- There will also be a pinned tweet on DNotes twitter profile that will have a lot of retweets and favorites to show that DNotes is a cryptocurrency with a large community.

DNotes twitter account will auto PM new followers with message and link to http://dnotesvault.com

DNotes twitter account will auto favorite tweets that contain #bitcoin every day to help gain more followers

There will also be a giveaway of 10 DNotes to whoever follows DNotes on twitter. This giveaway will run on altcointalk but also be promoted on bitcointalk

Competition tweets (to be promoted on bitcointalk and altcointalk they will run for 2 weeks):

Very comprehensive and well focused. Nice job Dyna! PR opportunities exist all around us. From conversation with friends to the bulletin board at your local supermarket, we should all be taking advantage of any chance to get DNotes into the public eye. I'm sure a lot of you belong to social clubs or volunteer your time in various unpaid endeavors. All these can be a great networking source to get the word out.

For example, I was in line at a Target store the other day with my daughter and she said "Do you think Target will ever except Bitcoin?" So, I replied "I think most large merchants will accept Bitcoin sooner or later. The question is how do we introduce them to DNotes?" So the person in front of us turned around, apologized for overhearing but said she heard of Bitcoin but what was DNotes?

By the time we done talking, at least 8 people in the line including the cashier learned something about digital currency and DNotes specifically with no negative comments offered. I call that "pocket" marketing with personal PR. It works, try it!

I think this is a fantastic idea!  I am starting my crash course in Twitter as we speak!  Grin

RJF - That's a great idea - mention bitcoin and DNotes everytime you are in line to pay for something.  Eventually they will get that it may be something they need to look into.

Nice job on all fronts here!

1 year ... ey double birthday in dnotes land ..  Grin i think they need a good tutorial-guide section, for noobs, its the same are not created by them, but just a good recopilation of links, in order since cero to miner or trader or making your own coin, Its a lot of material running for the web just recopile links and strecture it for a good assimilation a meetups section shoulbe be good too, like tupperware or cosmetics, maybe cryptos are another area with good range to grow. With help a lot the work of mods and admins of cryptomoms.

I like to put Dnotes for some bountys, to promote (give motivation)  all of cryptomoms user to help working/doing tutorials-guides

and i sugest to make a donation wallet to promote first meetup (like tupperware-girls womans cryptoreunion reunion) this must be 30-40 min format recorded for share in youtube and social media. with a bounty of 100.000 Dnotes more than 1000$ to spent on DNotes CRISP plans.

have cryptomoms some dedicated post on bitcointalk?

Women haven't had time for a Tupperware party since 1950.  They are too busy being doctors, lawyers, politicians, construction workers, business owners, teachers, financial analysts, CEOs, engineers, students, managers, firefighters, medical technicians, electricians, astronauts...

Many of them manage these careers on top of their job as a mother.

And.. just like not taking time for themselves to be on top of their own health and well being, from stats on saving to have money to retire with, they are not taking care of themselves for their future finances.  That is where Crytomoms comes in at.  Women in general need to take care of themselves in all aspects, career, health and finance.

On that subject from Dyna,

At this stage it is not likely that Bitcoin can be repositioned to be a sufficiently stable currency.

I agree, BTC is all over the map. Whereas Dnotes has shown a much more stable floor in its short existence. Even now after the last price rise following the 1 year mark, it has yet shown again a new and higher stable floor. And I credit that to the investment strategy for Dnotes.

The biggest problem is now, as with all alt coins is they are dependent upon bitcoin for its final value. Dreaming here a bit, but what could take Dnotes to it own place or store of value" would be to have its own Dnotes Exchange, or even more so a coinbase.com type of US Dollar purchase/sell exchange. From there it could break the chains that bind it to BTC and truly have its own identity.

Would like to even see a dedicated multipool that pays out in Dnotes, similar to iHash.co, xpool.ca,  supernet and alike, Of course its debatable if it helps a coin to have a multipool go to market and covert the days mining into a specific coin for payout. In my mind that open for discussion.

We hear you, DC. It does get frustrating sometime for alt coins to be directly linked to the fortune or misfortune of Bitcoin at this time. I don't expect a viable near term solution. We just have to be practical and work hard towards the day when DNotes can stand alone by merits and perhaps an advantage for other currencies to be pegged to DNotes. That is a real possibility but it may be years away.

It is a reasonable statement that no other cryptocurrency is addressing the vital importance of currency stability, trust and integrity as seriously as DNotes. Perhaps we are the only community strongly committed to examine all the issues and focus on total solutions, instead of just pick and choose. Our approach is significantly harder and much more time consuming. Frankly that is what differentiates DNotes from others the most, in fairly significant ways.

DNotes is the only one I have come across to look at cryptocurrency as more than just a technology.

I would have to agree with the fact that DNotes is a lot more than just technology!!

Just saw some statistics on the news.. 53% of women have some sort of savings for retirement, while 65% of men do.  The average savings for women is $34,900 while men save almost 3 times as much, at $76,800.  68% or two-thirds of the money that women save is in the form of cash, which means it is earning no interest, no dividends. We found this to be true with an elderly woman, she just turned 81, we have been helping out since her husband passed away. The majority of her money was sitting in a checking account gaining her nothing. First thing we did was get her an attorney the second thing we did was get her an appointment with some financial advisors. She now has money that is working for her.  She was part of the statistic of women who did save and was also the part of the 68% of women who had all her money in the form of cash. We have a ways to go to educated women on how to save and that savings needs to be working for them not just sitting in an account where it is not working for them.

Great post grandmama!  "The average savings for women is $34,900" - This is scary when you consider the poverty line is around $20,000 (single) in Canada.  It is probably similar in the U.S. depending where you live.  If that $34,000 is all you have for retirement, you are covered for less than 2 years!!  Canada has Old Age Security (if you qualify) and guaranteed income supplement that may stretch out your $34,900 for a few extra years.  Big sarcastic wow!!  No wonder some women are planning on working forever.

I agree that women need to be educated on how to save.  They also need to learn the truth about risk and how to make it work for them.

That is a much larger gap than I would have guessed. A financial education course could be a great way help this problem and to reach out and get people involved in the CRISP for Retirement program.

Those figures are troubling. If the average savings for women is $34,900 it means many may have close to zero savings. That is the real world. Another data point to bear in mind is that women out live men by a little over two years. For the population at 65 today the life expectancy for men is 84.3 years and for women is 86.5 years accounting to Social Security published reports.

They interviewed a woman from the "Womens Institute for a Secure Retirement." They also interview a women who was 40 + years old who had nothing saved.  She knew and stated she was in deep trouble. She is single with nothing saved, which also means since she does not have a husband (who would have possibly saved) she truly has nothing to fall back on.  She also stated that her mother had warned her and urged her to save for her future, but she still did not. Even with a mothers urging she did not do it. This report did not state, which I believe is an important part of the information, as to whether single or married people saved more.  I would assume that people who are married will save more than people who are single. Perhaps these figures take into consideration all people whether married or single.  Perhaps this report was all women and all men no matter if they are married or not.  I would be interested in knowing and would assume marital status would have an effect on these stats and single people would be on the low end of saving.  Just some food for thought.
