41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoin Newbie on: June 07, 2018, 02:58:10 AM
Hello Everyone, I'm very new to Altcoins, Cryptocurrencies In General. I'm Looking for someone's advice that has been around for a while to kind of give me some tips or pointers on how to spot legit coin's, what to look for before investing. Really just any guidance on a basic level would be greatly appreciated.
There are so many things that you have to do before investing in a ICO in order to identify whether the project is scam or legit you might following these steps:
1. First of all check the team behind the project by checking their profile on linkedin or something.
2. Read the whitepaper if you find something supicious then don't give your money.
3. Follow all their social media and see their progress, telegram and youtube are recommended.
4. Asking the community.
5. Visit some ICO review sites.

Ps: There is no guarantee that the project is legit or will be successful since scammer will try their best to steal our money.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: avoiding ICO scam and frauds on: June 06, 2018, 07:19:00 PM
Actually it is too hard to identify that the project is a scam or fraud, however you can do your own research for example checking the team behind that project whether they are real or not, check their social media, LinkedIn account etc. The next step is to analyze the project, is the project will be successful? you can check their whitepaper, asking the community, reading some ratings on the website etc.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am not sharing my crypto love? <3 on: June 06, 2018, 07:10:25 PM
I would never teach my friend especially to do trading since it's a risky way, I'm just advising them to do their own research about bitcoin and crypto we all know that Google has everything, I might agree with you that we should not share our portfolio with them and they just want an instant way. They don't think that it takes patience and hard work to collect that money.
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The "Best" of these exchanges on: June 06, 2018, 10:16:44 AM
I prefer to use binance rather than those options that you've just mentioned on the op. I used oldest exchange such a polonoex and bittrex but i had a bad experience with their service and then i moved to binance so far it's best exchange for me. Anyway i never used those exchanges except hit-btc as people mentioned it got so many bad reviews.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is gradually spreading on: June 06, 2018, 07:47:39 AM
I think so many people are now getting to know about this great technology. Crypto is gradually being know by almost everyone. Some are beginning to know the importance of crypto. The challenge they may have is how to benefit from it.
The primary question is will they adopt crypto in their life?
according to this site (https://www.statista.com/statistics/273018/number-of-internet-users-worldwide/) there are about 3.58 Internet users in this world it means half of the world's population uses the internet, and I believe bitcoin users is not more than 10% of them. People still think that bitcoin is a criminal tool that's the reason why crypto lack support.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All rating platforms are shit!? on: June 06, 2018, 07:32:27 AM
Too much deception around, investor confidence starts to decline and the market reacts naturally! I think we need some mechanism to protect honest projects, some kind of association in which guarantees the reputation of the project, because all rating platforms are shit!

What do you think?
This is what I was thinking, I don't think they are trusted and reliable. It's not a secret anymore that they can manipulate or list a bad ICO into their site. The solution is "do your own research" The first step is to check the team and their advisors, are they real or not, then keep in touch with them. Next, check if the project has a competitor or not, or is there something similar to the project? and the last analyze future prospects of a project.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia 2018, another turning-point to the Crypto-community? on: June 06, 2018, 07:04:55 AM
Sorry i doubt, even though many merchants accept bitcoin as the payment method at that event but seems like people prefer to hold their bitcoin instead of spending them, on the other hand, they will likely to pay the hotels with the cash or credit card as I can see in some biggest events before. I don't mean to spread the negative vibes here people see bitcoin nowadays as an investment tool.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: June 06, 2018, 05:24:29 AM
There are faucets, airdrop, bounty, and of course you can help project translation, but this is usually fierce competition.
Please don't recommend people to earn coins from the faucet it wastes your time and the site just pays you a penny I believe only small of them still exists such a freebitcoin. Anyway participating in airdrop or bounty is a good way you can get a lot of money if the project that you've promoted is successful. Another way is improving your skill especially in programming, designs, writing, etc since these fields are the most in-demand job in this industry.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PASSIVE INCOME on: June 06, 2018, 04:19:40 AM
4 ways to make money:

1. Employee
2. Self employed
3. Business Owner
4. Investor.
Being Investor or business owner is a good way to make a passive income you are literally making money while sleeping or traveling. Most people want to be an employee or self employed such a doctor, engineer etc, they never think that the time is very precious than bucks that they've earned. In the crypto industry some people have been quit from their job and get into the trading or open their business crypto related. I think it's a good choice since it can make you rich faster however it's the risky one.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: June 05, 2018, 08:00:31 PM
Government has not clearly stated its policy on bitcoin and unless it gets banned completely, bitcoin has a great progress in India.
Good to hear that, if their government support bitcoin that's gonna be awesome since India is the second country with the highest population after China. However the government have done the right thing protecting their citizen from something bad we all know that this is the common issue and the reason behind why those countries banning bitcoin, yup people are losing money on hyip or Ponzi scheme even though is not bitcoin's fault, the government just see it as a threat for them.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEVER KEEP CRYPTO TOKENS ON AN EXCHANGE WALLET on: June 05, 2018, 03:56:13 PM
People found themselves in a dilemma when they have to keep balance on the exchange because they are a daily trader. No doubt that keeping your coin on an exchange is a risky way, I personally put them out there too because I do trading, Well I'm advising those who are a trader to keep no more than you can't afford to lose or the alternative is cash out the balance immediately once you get the profit.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: London Mosque Accept Bitcoin for Ramadan Donation on: June 05, 2018, 10:06:05 AM
You know what, one of the best things to do with bitcoin is the transactions are permanently stored in the blockchain and they are public, so donators can see the number of funds that have been donated which is good. Anyway, I am very happy to see people use bitcoin in a positive way so far people think bitcoin as a criminal tool that commonly used in deep web or purchases something illegal.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: June 05, 2018, 09:27:17 AM
The era of blockchain has given many people to make their own currency with different visions from the Artificial intelligence, personal data, finance etc. as we know the traditional currency is very influential in society & supports economic activity around a worldwide. wel,  if everyone has their own currency doesnt this is will make everyone no longer motivated to work and will be to waste more time in front of computer. so, what do you think?
Creating your own currency is not hard at all, the hardest part is making your own currency worth. You don't have to worry about that even though there are a lot of coins out there only small of them has value and adopted by mass moreover, it is not certain the coins that we made could attract the investors and be used by many people however I have to admit that too much currency can be bad for economic system.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre sale or ICO? on: June 04, 2018, 11:44:49 PM
Both have advantages and disadvantages, but if the project passed your criteria then buying in their pre sale has a huge advantage than buying in their ico, the biggest task is to check if the project is legit if it is legit then pre sale and ico is ok both options are profitable.
Exactly, there's always pros and cons between pre-sale and ICO. However pre-sale might be riskier than ICO since it's really hard to identify whether the project is legit or scam, but if it's not then you can get a lot of coins comparing to ICO phase.

i prefer to buy from ICO because it usually require small amount of contribution. If you participate on presale, you will need much contribution to be eligible.
Buy the tokens in ICO half, and buy half again once it hit exchange market.
This is another reason why some people didn't join pre-sale phase since it requires big capital to participate in. I personally choose ICO and if you believe that the project has a better future make sure to join in the beginning so you can get a cheaper price.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: June 04, 2018, 11:26:06 PM
Usually, they didn't reach the soft cap I believe it's due to the concept of the product that they're offering not attract investors, a project must have an innovative purpose nowadays investors are smart in choosing whether the project can them benefit or not. The other reasons they don't have a solid team and enough budget to promote the project, having a good team is a key here and big promotion can make ICO achieve the minimum target of the soft cap .
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the good way to earn with Altcoins? on: June 04, 2018, 10:57:00 PM
Hi. I have a question for you. Some ones do Day Trading,Some ones do short term holding,Some ones do long term holding,Some ones invest in ICOs and some ones do bounty and Airdrops. But what is the good and easy way to earn with altcoins.?What is your suggestions?
The good way to make a profit with altcoins is participating in ICO, however you have to be more selective in choosing whether the project has a better future or not and this is very hard to identify but so far this is the simplest and faster to make a lot of money. Some altcoins need 1-2 years or something to success so you have to be patient, If you're the kind of person who likes to take risks trading might be a good choice for you.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news for Bitcoin on: June 04, 2018, 04:04:51 PM
Bitcoin can be seen as a bubble and it can explode at any time. But, blockchain technology is different. It is a really useful technology for every aspect of our lives, and there is no reason why we should abandon it.
That guy might not see bitcoin from the technology perspective. Bitcoin is not only about investment tool but also a currency that's why it still exists.
I prefer to listen to the tech-savvy opinion regarding bitcoin rather than an economic expert. If they understand well about the concept of bitcoin and its usefulness in changing the future, surely they would not think that this is a bubble.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin technology has been obsolete, why bitcoin prices still expensive? on: June 04, 2018, 03:30:04 PM
I want to ask, many people are talking about bitcoin technology, they say bitcoin technology is old and outdated, why bitcoin prices are still expensive, why do so many people also buy bitcoin, according to you, what determines the price of bitcoin
This is my first time heard that bitcoin technology is outdated, cmon technology behind bitcoin the blockchain is a new and innovative technology where there are so many benefits that can solve our problems, 1 decade is a very short time for bitcoin to grow. The reason why the price is high it's due to the law of demand and supply, the more people buy it then the price will increase simple as that.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why shouldn’t we be concerned? on: June 03, 2018, 12:47:58 PM
Why shouldn’t we be concerned? Seems like everyone on here is extremely confident will see a bounce back to the December highs and then surpass them, but this dip/crash is now 5 months long. So I’m curious as to why so many of you are confident?
It's clear that bitcoin is very young and it just a beginning many people holding bitcoin as a long-term investment that's why they are very confident even though with this situation right now. Some experts predict that bitcoin will be skyrocket, I personally buy it as much as I can because I won't lose that moment like when I lost a chance couple years ago, didn't buy much when the price was really cheap.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which factor is the most important for you when you evaluate an ICO? on: May 29, 2018, 03:16:53 PM
There are so many things that you have to do before investing in an ICO first of all do your own research especially about the team behind the project whether they are real or not, usually a successful ICO has a great team behind that. Second, learn their whitepaper this is very important, how does the project can make your rich, I think another factor is popularity, the more popular ICO the more chance for the project to be successful.
