Stumbled on an interesting article: https://www.zerohedge.com/crypto/nation-states-vs-network-states-vs-crypto-claves?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+zerohedge%2Ffeed+%28zero+hedge+-+on+a+long+enough+timeline%2C+the+survival+rate+for+everyone+drops+to+zero%29

A few sound bytes:

"It was that no amount of trying to force a linear extrapolation of the outgoing systems were going to work because the advent of decentralized cryptography and non-state money had already changed the architecture of power and the incentive structures around wealth preservation."

"established policy makers are operating on the premise of a linear extension from their previous experience. Central Bank Digital Currencies are the purest expression of this assumption. Take central bank issued fiat currency, digitize it, add the ability to overlay ideological policy imperatives onto money (like social credit), and then everything just continues on as before.

But the underlying architecture of the global power structure is phase shifting into something else entirely and the reason why is because decentralized, non-state, cryptographically secured money is already here. The smart money realizes that this is a superior form of money to preserve wealth and autonomy. Everything else is secondary."

Well, Bitcoin @ $30k feels damn good to me. I don’t care how bad the chart looks. That’s not how Bitcoin works.

That is an exceedingly salient article.  Seems to me the end of the world is playing out quite nicely.  If you think about is plagues and the mark of the beast are all in there together...

Well, the piece is not really positive on cryptocurrencies but does acknowledge that they have a place in the world (and with increasing importance). The best part is the analysis of Central Bank Digital Currencies and how they would create havoc among banks. Reading between the lines, you can envisage a scenario whereby quick integration of worldwide cryptocurrency payment rails will benefit banks, as opposed to the increasing encroachment of Central Banks on commercial bank territory.

More on the pressure on banks here: https://www.goldmoney.com/research/goldmoney-insights/banking-faces-seismic-changes

Could we see Central Banks taking over the 'task' of lending money (credit) to businesses instead of banks (who rather finance governments and speculate in stuff right now)?

Talking about a seismic shift ....  Grin Roll Eyes

Lots of stories of people receiving an unsolicited password reset email from Binance. Could be a fluke but …  Roll Eyes
against company and owners. I'm being cautious, not condemning the exchange at this point.

Well, as holder of an (empty) Binance account, I’m not happy receiving unsolicited reset password emails while learning that it is happening all over the board. Something is not right.

my prediction is $120,001.

Based on factors.

$65k intermediate top
$30k low (factor 0.5x)
$120k (and going up) factor 4x
