Point and Figure Bitstamp daily chart printed a bullish catapult at $10,100. Shorts are getting wrecked watch the next level at $10,617 for confirmation.

This link should give you a head start on how to spot a fake from genuine. Assume anything on eBay is fake. Banksy's authentication board, Pest Control, do not issue COAs for the Di-Faced Tenners so buyer beware. I believe prices for real Tenners are between $5000 - $10000.
43  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Suisse AG version 1.0 Loaded 1.0 BTC Note on: May 31, 2020, 07:13:40 PM
Very nice piece for sale.

Do you know how many of this denomination were produced/assembled?
Do you know if all denominated notes were sold loaded?

Curious myself, did some research and according to this PDF from Bitcoin Suisse AG all Series 1 denominated notes were sold loaded and there were 2000 1 Bitcoin notes minted. @hybridsole posted that he had contacted Bitcoin Suisse back in December 2016 and they said they were sold out of the first series. They hardly ever come up for sale on this board so I suspect the majority were sold to European customers of Bitcoin Suisse AG who are not members of the forum? Very cool and desirable note, GLWS!
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining - why? on: May 31, 2020, 04:45:20 PM
You are always better off just buying and holding bitcoin for the long term. Just stay away from the cloud mining contracts. The companies are in business to make a profit for themselves, not the investors.

ZoneAlarm?  is that really still a thing?

I remember using that on win98, with hijackthis

Sure, see https://www.grc.com/lt/scoreboard.htm
46  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTF Auction #10 - Unique 5 BTC Hybrid Coin - Lealana & Casascius on: May 29, 2020, 05:19:44 PM
MJ when I have shipped high dollar crypto coins I always use USPS registered mail. You are telling me in case of loss they would not pay out the full value I insured for? At least registered mail is very secure, never had a problem. In that case what is the best method of shipping a very expensive coin like this one?
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 29, 2020, 05:11:56 PM
Just use a good firewall like free ZoneAlarm and then check at grc.com ShieldsUp.

Put a Bitcoin symbol on a Microtech and I might buy one. Better yet, do a collaboration with Tony Marfione.

Comparing COVID-19 to the seasonal flu is not useful. Flu season is pretty much over. The SARS-CoV-2 virus, depending on the study, is about 2.5 times as infectious as the flu, has a much higher mortality rate and most important there is no vaccine. The MOBS model from the Network Science Institute at Northeastern University projections for May 1, 2020 estimates that there will be about 89,000 deaths in the US by mid-May if stay-at-home orders remain in place. Deaths will be much higher if distancing is relaxed.

Watching Cr4zy D1rt1 C0p5, Pretty funny. Smiley

I tried to check out that Money Heist but couldn't find it in English.

It has been overdubbed in English for US Netflix. No. 6 watched show on Netflix.

IMO anyone who obsesses about how many posts they have made or how many merits they have been given needs to take a look at their priorities. Quality, not quantity. There are more important things to care about, like, staying alive though this pandemic, rather than posting for numbers. My two cents; stay safe.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/29/fda-emergency-authorization-anti-malaria-drug-155095

Hydroxychloroquine with Azithromycin works. They keep censoring Tucker Carlson, Bolonsaro etc who talk about Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin. Big pharma wants everyone to wait for their vaccine so they can make billions of dollars.

I want to believe this. I really do but if this combination is really effective against covid... why are so many still dying? I don't think there is a shortage of these old drugs.

There are few possibilities:

1) It doesn't work.

2) Doctors don't know it or they are too stupid.

3) Doctors are killing people knowingly by not using them. (Big pharma conspiracy)

Yes there is shortage. Yes, it seems to work, there is enough evidence to support it does.

Problem here is:

1) Even if there is enough evidence that it does work, those are not "officially" vetoed.
2) Due to limit reserves and the point above, doctors are only using it at their own discretion (each hospital protocols) and only for patients that are already showing VERY bad pneumony. TOO LATE. It should be used at the early stage of infection (or even as a preventative measure) to slow rate of reproduction of the virus so that the inmune system can catch up.

This is correct. Hydroxychloroquine is not the magic bullet but it does have a good success rate in at least one study but it should be given early. It has side effects that can be dangerous so should not be taken prophylactically. Use Vitamin C and chelated Zinc to boost your immune response.

Tor or VPN – Which is Best for Security, Privacy & Anonymity? [2020]

Quote
The Tor browser and VPN services are two leading privacy tools which have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. We review both tools and show you how to combine them for increased security and anonymity online.
Learn the pros and cons of Tor and VPN for privacy and security. Should you use both? Or just one? Our complete step-by-step guide explains.

Old news and that's just the average article promoting affiliate links for VPN providers. Nord usually comes out on top because they pay well, not because they are faster or more privacy oriented. The best VPNs do not have affiliate programs. They don't need them to be successful, word gets around. That One Privacy Site continues to be the unbiased comparison site for VPNs.

Still waiting to see if BTC decouples from the DJIA. Today looked promising but too early to tell.

seems like the first peak of the first wave is almost here after lockdowns and physical distancing restrictions.

... now how do we relax those restrictions to prevent a second peak? Or is that impossible? Do we stamp it out totally? Or get the fiat money-go-around whirling before it collapses in upon itself?

Maybe we need to have rolling lockdowns over the next 18 months? 4 or 5 peaks of the first wave (it's sounding like Elliot wave TA Smiley)

Then we can prepare for the second wave, next strain that might get going around (released?) ...

We are in uncharted territory something I never expected to see within my lifetime. Until there is a vaccine it is likely COVID-19 will be seasonal and will return. That is if we get it under control which is not a given. We don't know if it will mutate into a less virulent strain or become more infectious. And just like the seasonal flu we will most likely need a new vaccine each year. We also don't know yet to what extent survivors are immune to reinfection. Social distancing buys time until there are better treatments and a vaccine.
