41  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyperinflation - Will it lead Countries to Adopt Bitcoin? on: May 25, 2024, 05:20:32 PM
the idea is to just adopt BTC not crash the government and ruin its financial system. because not everyone in the country knows Bitcoin and has Bitcoin. the fiat currency has to still be working and will work side by side with BTC otherwise there will be no basis for BTC's price.

inflation may rise but people with BTC in their wallets will have the advantage and so gradually the adoption will take place as government also supports its existence.
I do agree that bitcoin will grow both in price and adoption as well, because the more people joins the higher the price will be and the more people will want to use it instead. I mean when Fiat currencies suck, people move to bitcoin and other crypto, even if it is just stablecoin. That means that we are going to see more people both buy it, but also they will want to spend/earn that as well which means adoption.

I personally hope that we can see a lot better results and greater returns with time, that has to be the most important part. I believe that we can get better with time. We just need to end up with a logical time shift, we can't have it from today until tomorrow, it will take longer than that and will slowly grow.

there is a working banking system in the country which means that Gold, Silver, and Bitcoin, will only work when there is already no financial system that is working. This sounds like chaos already. If you are to prepare for what is to come would you wait for the chaos to start?
Yeah, waiting until the collapse of the existing economic system to adapt bitcoin is not making any sense to me as well. If those people are aware of bitcoin and its core purposes then switching to bitcoin will benefit them for sure. At least holding 20- 40% assets in bitcoin will help them on the event of undesirable things to their own economy.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 24, 2024, 08:28:54 PM
Guardiola has just gets the award as the best manager in Premier League this season and this is the 5th title for him since he was handle Manchester City and i think this proven Guardiola is the best manager for Manchester City so far but indeed his future would be interesting to discuss because just like i said before Guardiola contract will be ended next summer which mean this season would be last season for him and until now i couldn't find any news that Guardiola will be signing new contract with Manchester City and this makes people has starting to speculate about his future in this team

We all know at the press conference Guardiola has been make a statement that he might be considering to leave rather than stayed so maybe just like i said above this season probably could be his last season with Manchester City and if this is true then it could be big lost for this team and it's very hard to find the replacement of him however Guardiola has good chances to gets more trophy before this season ended because this weekend Manchester City will fight against Manchester United at FA Cup final match and i am sure their status is the favourite to win this match
To be fair, he has provided many times over why it's him and not the money. A lot of people kept on saying that City spends a lot of money to win, and then after a while they have seen that a lot of other teams made a lot of other big investments, much more than City and they still failed.

Now it is the "115 charges", which is basically about financial fair play, which is basically about money again so it is not really the point. We have seen many times over, in many nations, having money doesn't mean that you are going to get a win. Pep Guardiola is the only reason why City has been this great, take him out and I do not think that they win half of these titles so he deserves every trophy that he gets, and individually should be awarded too.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What need to follow to play the stress free gambling game on: May 24, 2024, 04:38:23 PM
The most simplest and straightforward answer to how one can gamble with no stress is to gamble only for fun and gamble with an amount that one can easily afford to lose. I understand that no money is easily affordable when it comes to losses, but this simply means that the money you use for your gambling activities shouldn't be directed to anything else and it should be a budget allocated specifically for your gambling activities.

The only stress one can get from gambling is because of the losses. A gambler starts gambling with the thought that they are going to get double or triple of their initial bankroll from gambling and then goes ahead and loses everything. How would such a gambler feel? Stressed, obviously. If the same gambler was to gamble for fun and had a small budget just for it, they wouldn't feel any stress or burden even if they had lost the money.

The only advantage on playing many times than one time huge bet is you will play more so that you can enjoy gambling with less pressure in your bet.
Playing more or simply killing boredom must be the highest priority for very gambler which means such gamblers will never mind about profit/loss of their gambling and this way when you start not minding your profits or losses then your gambling will become complete stress-free.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury items stock will be good way to go on: May 24, 2024, 03:19:25 PM
More poverty might mean that a lot money for few and it's good for luxury brands life is short off course they want taste touch and feel all the finest things in the world.
The problem with poor is that they do not have enough money to live even a decent life, like I am not talking about Lambos or anything most poor people can't afford to pay their rent and bills that's it. The real problem with middle class is that they can't take risks, you may have a home, either owned or pay the rent, you may pay your bills, you may even go out a day or two every week for drinks at the pub, you may get some takeout, you may get the latest Phillips coffee machine, those are all fine.

But no middle class can quit their job, start a new business and wait until they can make a profit, and even if we assume that they found 100k somewhere and did all that, if they fail then they are going to bankrupt and never recover. Rich can start any business they want and fail, that's their reason to be rich, because if 28 of them fails, 29th may make them even richer.

money is flowing from top to bottom, but you are right we can also make money by buying the stocked of those products which are being bought by these rich people.
This must be a modern thinking that I have developed from bitcoin ecosystem and Satoshi Nakamotto: when you hate inflation, create your own money. This way, I cannot afford buying a tesla car but I own tesla shares. Yes, I also agree with OP.

What if I use Bitcoin to exchange it for a shitcoin, and I use those shitcoins to buy Bitcoin again?
Such exchanges will not provide you 100% privacy from the point of government authorities when you are doing in an CEX with full KYC.

In the end, legislation will prohibit any movement of funds that is not perfectly identified KYC, as a bank transaction, regardless of whether it is from Bitcoin to Bitcoin or with shitcoins in between.
Most governments started treating cryptocurrencies as virtual assets which means they will not have any problem if our coins sources are not from the suspected list; they just need tax. This is the situation of current scenario and what governments will do when we start using cryptos rather than just cashing out is still a mystery and I agree with you on that perspective.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Counting the cost of a ww3. on: April 20, 2024, 03:14:11 PM
I live in a country that produces nothing, we import almost everything, including food and it might sound curious to you but my country is doing far better since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. When the war started, many rich Russians flew to my country, rent prices went sky high, a small poor country become a Dublin in a single day. Since we are from post-soviet union country, almost everyone owns a flat or a house here, so people rarely have to pay for the rent, most of us own our houses. Skyrocket housing prices helped people to get a decent income from renting an apartment. These rich Russians are paying a lot of money in rents, they started businesses in our country and economic situation is getting very good for many people. Their migration started serious deflation and salaries also increased.
I wonder why they flew there when the affected country is only Ukraine, I mean in terms of physical damages. I know Russia were subject to sanctions but I heard that they are still doing fine since they still have a connection with some top countries like China. Even though your country is like that who produce nothing, it was still great because each people there have their own homes there as you said. This is the dream of each people even if it's only a small one.

So, at the moment we are in a good situation, like Switzerland but long-term I believe that everyone will be seriously affected, especially us who produce nothing and import everything.
Seriously affected, negatively? But why? I thought the effects of war are positive in your country? Therefore it may remain like that but I would be guilty if I wish there will always be wars because some people can suffer with it.

50  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Banks keeping secret about CBDC blockchains on: November 29, 2023, 08:35:46 PM
I understand that it may not look all that convincing for people to not see any blockchain developments, but that doesn't mean it's a secret, it is just not promoted all around. I believe that if someone wanted to see, they could look for it and search for it or even ask for it and get it, whereas we are talking about something they will not like get ads on tv and promote everywhere how amazing their blockchain is, not at development stage at least. When it's done and they want people to use it then I would understand it, but that doesn't mean that they are not working on it or keeping it a secret, they just don't care if you know or not.

To keep it a secret they must be hiding something and I really do not think that they are hiding anything at all, I think they are just doing it for doing its sake, and ignoring everyone in the world. That's fine, we do not really need to have the full information, that's not really an important situation for any of us.

53  Economy / Service Discussion / Reviews Hub :: Availed a service related to BTC? Share your experience here! on: November 24, 2023, 09:09:39 PM
Hi all,

The idea is simple. It is like trustpilot or tripadvisor but limited to services which accept BTC as a one of the payment option.

Why we need this:
We have lots of listing topics on various service providers but when checking as an enduser I am confused to conclude with whom I may start with. For example, from the list of crypto debitcards, I want to test one service but I prefer the one which was recommended by one this forum member after tested for real which is not readily available, this topic will solve that.

How to share:
Please share your experience of any services which was availed by you for BTC in the following format:

Name of the service & URL:
Category:
Rating /10:
Verdict/Experience:

Sharing is nothing short of caring:
Already shared one incident on this forum, you may simply link, I will list here. (You do not need to write a review again just for this topic).

Found a review by a full-member+, please link here.

Things to be included primarily:
Please add as much as information you found/gathered/experienced with a service which led you to like or dislike them under verdict/experience part. This will help others to avail right things by avoiding others.

I will link your posts into here under categories.

Few rules:
1. No affiliate sh*t for any reasons.
2. Newbie's entries will not be encouraged.
(more to be added if needed)

Disclaimer:
1. Past things never endorse any future incidents. Always try new things with least risk.
2. I am not affiliated to anywhere. I am just listing what people share on this topic.
3. You need to do your own due diligence as this topic is only for outline and not for exact.

Hello gamblers,

Are we allowed to use freebitco.in as a BTC mixing services?

Is there any rule on limits (and other related constrains) about depositing and withdrawing BTC for the purpose of earning daily interest?

(If these are addressed already, kindly link me).
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 24, 2023, 06:44:01 PM
Gambling is one engagement that has to do with so much risks and that's why people who can't manage the outcome of losing their money are strongly advised to stay out of gambling. One popular behavior among gamblers especially addicts is that they're always transferring their aggression on people around them whenever they lose their stakes in gambling and sometimes it does lead irreconcilable quarrells with people around them. It's very bad to behold most times.
This is without a doubt a very upsetting behavior, one of the things we must learn early on life is that things will not always happen in the way we want, and what we need to do is to adjust to those new circumstances and move on, however one characteristic a great deal of those that eventually get addicted have is their inability to accept they have lost against the casino or another player, it is as if they expect that everything should always happen in exactly the way they want, and when that obviously does not happen they get mad that was not the case.
There are things which are totally reliant on luck and there some in skills but like you said, no matter how eager we are of wanting it and no matter how much skill we have, it seems that all things in this world still needs a luck. It is hard at first once we fail but we can always move on. Maybe there are some who just end their lives immediately which is sad.

There are other negative characteristics of some gamblers but in no way of disliking it. That is their life anyway so why should I care? they can also think like us, where they also don't care that we are just calm. It is enough that their own characteristics are the ones that can give them a lesson.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 24, 2023, 05:28:40 PM
Satisfying your thrills?? Hahhhh... Alright, in what way do you normalize the frequency - influenced by your thrills to betting significantly and utilizing even more of your bankrolls??.... How's that fun to you?? Hasn't there been a time that you feel used up too much and that you have to stop wagering for Christ sake???
Well, I understand how strong the urge is when you're on the losing side - it makes no difference when you keep wagering anyways.
Each are different. Some prefers low risks while some wants the higher one and the OP is among with it. Normalizing the frequency can be done by controlling our betting size or sessions. The OP might look addicted but I can feel that he still knows how to do it or to stop once he think is already going too much.

We can also stop once there is nothing left on our bankroll anymore, or on our main wallets. Usually after this, we can realize that gambling is bad and we need to stop this before it affects more in the future. When it comes to urges, indeed that it can occur anytime for an addicted gambler. For me, my urge can come after some time of stopping gambling.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 24, 2023, 04:48:30 PM
I recently received multiple PM on my Telegram account that offers profit sharing for placing bets on their behalf.
What is the procedure for this? Do you have to risk your own money, or will they send you money to bet on a certain game as per their instructions? I'm curious because if they require you to use your own money and claim they will ensure you win, it sounds like they might be trying to scam you, and it may not be related to any legitimate syndicate or organization.
Nah you won’t get to use your money, you’ll give them the login details to your account and then they’ll find it and start using it for what they want to use, they might even use it to perform some other things that the casino might be against leading to your account getting blocked.

And another issue here is that once they get your login details, there’s no guarantee that entry won’t change your email and login details into something else, so you don’t only risk your integrity with the casino you also risk losing your account permanently if they eventually change all the details in it.
As long as you don't give the password of your email address, or the code in your OTP when you get a confirmation about changing your password, you will be safe, although like you said, they might still perform other abuses which can affect the reputation of our account.

Maybe there are also legit deals about this because some bettors are only being limited for winning too much. Limits might still be normal and not a kind of serious offense, and the limits can still reset after some time. If we are rarely playing, we can lend our accounts to them for a while and still make money passively, but if we are in doubt, then much better to ignore it.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest in this project or not on: September 24, 2023, 02:51:32 PM
One should invest where they have trust that the coin won't disappoint them. In my mind, only Bitcoin and Ethereum come to mind when we talk about genuine projects. However, I have also observed that there is a significant trend in the market for AI coins and Bot coins. Some people may certainly make a profit by investing sensibly in them,
Obviously, it is the goal in investing but some investors still lacks on something which makes them a failure. I'm not only referring to those who invest in new coins but even the old coins too. anything can go wrong if we are like that. I don't know if what are those bot coins you are talkin about but I think they are still related to AI. Speaking of it, I think the trend is already closing down and we are about to start another again, so think twice if you will still invest on them.

but it's important to be cautious about excessive greed, as it can lead to losses.
Everything excessive is not good anymore but a normal level of greed can still be acceptable. It can only make us hungry to learn more or push through our limits so that we can also get more benefits.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 23, 2023, 05:08:05 PM
If Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad were not present in today's match, I don't know how shamefully Bangladesh would have been defeated. I have nothing to say about this match of Bangladesh against New Zealand.
Bangladesh cricket team performances keep going down the drain over time. They were unlucky in the last match actually thanks to rain interference since it looked like they would win that match.

Am not expecting them to go far in the World Cup thanks to their horrendous form these days.
We can blame BCB for this decline in performance as things are never been ideal for them to have any improvement into their domestic setup which helps them for having quality players in this format which was their best few years back, but now they are having poor results in all formats which is surely sad news for the Bangladesh cricketing community.

In this three match series which was going to help them in World Cup now they are down by 1 - 0 with just one match remaining and most chances they will lose this series if they keep playing like this batting is the biggest concern for them as their well experienced players were also not able to have anything positive against quality New Zealand bowling Ish Sodhi done impressive job with bat and ball hopefully they will give their best in big mega event as well.
