161  Economy / Economics / Re: What could Elon Musk be buying next? on: August 08, 2023, 06:49:33 AM
Basically, it is difficult for us to know about Elon Musk's purchasing plans this year. Such individual investment policies and purchasing plans are often not announced or known for certain in advance. Elon Musk is well known for making innovative and sometimes unexpected investment decisions. However, given Elon Musk's past buying history and interest, it is likely that his major purchases this year include investments in renewable energy, expansion into other transportation sectors, expansions in artificial intelligence and robotics technology, and space exploration research and development.
Elon is a very difficult man to predict when it comes to purchasing assets and for some time now he has been kind of quiet with assets been he is seriously focusing on his space x project after bragging about building a hotel on Mars, let us keep waiting and see how the project goes, and I love Elon creativity how he uses the information to solve a problem, and in the case of solving a problem the man is making money, and going into renewable energy not also benefits the entire environment and linked to human health talk about tesla, it a real problem solver so let us all wait and see what he comes up with.
He is not an easy man to predict about anything at all. I mean him buying twitter alone was unpredictable, even he realized he was making a mistake after a while but he decided to go with it anyway, which resulted with him doing it by force because of court ruling. In the end he got it and turned it into a horrible place.

So, the fact that we may not know what he might buy or promote next is normal, because we wouldn't know, since he probably doesn't even know it himself right now. He liked doge for a while, and not really a long time neither, and that resulted with him promoting it and yet not really making it go that high himself, people saw his tweets and bought because of it for some reason, not a good reason to buy a coin if you ask me.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 06, 2023, 08:05:00 PM
Deepak Chahar looked promising in white ball cricket but after his injury, he kinda gave up internationals and focused on IPL only.
Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur are bowlers who can be decent with the bat. I would still refrain from calling them as allrounders. They lack consistency with the bat. I would consider Hardik Pandya as a genuine allrounder. He is more or less consistent with both the departments nowadays. BTW, I don't know whether Deepak will be able to stay free from injury for a long time. His story is similar to that of Jasprit Bumrah, but the difference is that injury resulted in his career getting destroyed even before it got started.
BCCI doing too much but one thing is still not going into their favor as they are not going for the seam wickets which are also important because you can't go always with spinners you have to manage something for the seam bowlers and seam bowling all-rounders as well which are important like we can watch in England and Australia few years back we have good craze about this when Kapil Dev, and then we have Madan Lal and Manoj Prabhakar but then suddenly all wipe out, and we are losing this all just because of spinners friendly pitches which are helping mostly at home and countries like West Indies never helpful in SENA countries.

Sri Lanka and Pakistan still have this luxury, but sadly we never try in this way and have seam bowling all-rounders which bring good results in all conditions we can rely on them in SENA countries as well.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin will accepted worldwide for legal then price rising $100k?? on: August 06, 2023, 06:45:25 PM
If Bitcoin is accepted globally, of course, it will make a surge in the number of users, of course it will be easy to reach $ 100K in a short time, now some small countries have made Bitcoin as an official asset so we must be optimistic that the long term of Bitcoin will soon be accepted.
Last time we almost hit $100k if the momentum continues so how much more when more countries and people join the revolution right? Maybe $100k isn't the only price we can reach but it will be $300k and above this time. I think if I'm not mistaken there is only 3 countries who made BTC a legal tender.

The progress for this one is slow but it's not a big problem that we must think of because BTC can still be used locally for payment purposes even without that accreditation. We can still attain a growth in its value. This is why we should act quick and invest in BTC now if you haven't done it yet, only because you are waiting for a good sign or signal. Don't, let the opportunity missed, right before your very eye.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2023, 05:41:43 PM
LOL.. right now it is a cakewalk for the West Indians. This is the same team that got humiliated during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier a few weeks ago, when they lost out to Scotland and Netherlands. The same team is thrashing India now. Indian bowlers (apart from Hardik Pandya) are looking completely clueless. Both the spinners (Ravi Bishnoi and Yuzvendra Chahal) have gone for almost 10 runs per over. For me, it is very clear that India can't win if players such as Virat, Ashwin, Rohit and Jadeja are not in the squad.
After first over of the Hardick Pandya I was thinking it is going to be an easy win for India but now suddenly Pooran change things with his style and current run rate is 9 with required rate is touching 5 figures mean India is almost down in this series by 2 - 0 and management needs to think just going with all youths is not good idea they have to put some seniors as well which will give them better space for the match.

Basically this West Indian team faced humiliation in qualifiers, but now we are facing the same thing from their hands with their bats as well. Even it's too late but Mukesh Kumar takes his first wicket and Pooran gone, but he has already done his work and now West Indies need only 27 runs on 36 balls with Hetmyer is on crease for the home side.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2023, 03:30:10 PM
India is playing the second T20I match today. India have lost two wickets and I think it is a very bad sign to lose early wickets in T20 matches. If there is a wicket, the pressure on the team is less, so losing two wickets in the power play, the Indian team is facing a lot of pressure.  Meanwhile, West Indies are providing a very good bowling service due to which the top two West Indies teams are very likely to win today. India team has collected 49 runs in 8 overs, if they continue to collect runs like this, they will surely reach 180 runs in the end. And if the Indian team can score 180 runs then there is definitely a chance to win today.
Start is not good as right now after 9.3 overs we have just 60 runs and three top order batsmen gone right now Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma on crease we need some aggressive approach from here because score is less than expected in first half of the match anything less than 180 is not going to have any positive result for the India.

After losing ODI series now West Indies are doing good job against young Indian team which is playing without their many stars which looking not perfect start SKY is having bad time with Shubman Gill is also out of the touch for this series hopefully this pair will give some better end which give good test case for the bowlers and India able to came at level with West Indies in this series.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: August 05, 2023, 06:44:24 PM
It doesn't matter whether the gambler is successful or not but those who devote extra time to gambling become addicted. When a person first starts gambling, his only concern is how to win the bet. Gamblers first invest their money in various betting sites where they spend extra time and concentrate on gambling leaving all other activities. In that case we can definitely call those people gambling addicts because they spend most of their time on these betting sites. A wise person will never get addicted to gambling by investing his money in a betting site and abandoning his family activities but a person who doesn't understand anything but gambling gets addicted. So I think I would classify a successful investor as a gambling addict if he gambles and wins a lot of money.
Of course it does. Many of us wants to be successful because that can also means that we are profitable. Successful gamblers does devote a lot of time in gambling in order to improve their skills but it does not mean that they are also an addict. You can't be an addict and successful at the same time. Being successful means you have a discipline to your self. You stop after a couple of hours of practicing in order to relax your mind and body. You are also doing other things that a normal person does. I believe that newbies in gambling don't think about the profit but they only want to get entertained. It was the veteran gamblers who take gambling seriously.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1k - 100k Challenge ✅ on: August 05, 2023, 05:38:23 PM
good one, made it from 2k to 20k
Haha seems like sort of some scam promotion. Just words are not enough to convince the users haha as most of the community members are smart enough.

Haha, it sounds like join telegram and follow the signals to make 100x haha but in reality, your 100$ will be 10 after a few trades and even after losing you'll get nothing I mean usually when a newbie starts trading and lose 90$ he gets the experience and learn to modify the strategy for the next trades. Such statements are usually used for the newbies to trap them in greed.
He already attach some screenies there and then there is the link to his website/group. We can always scan them to find more details if what he was saying is true and if he is truly legit but it seems not because lots of users here are doubting and calling the OP a scammer.

The OP even got a reg tag. So it's safe to just avoid this one. If it's a premium group then we can lose immediately even if the trade hasn't started yet. They can offer some pump and dump coin and they can be able to manipulate it. I think if we are wise enough we can be able to profit but it's not recommended. There are safer and better ways out there to make money with our skills.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: August 05, 2023, 05:01:43 PM
Have bought some ETH last week but i don't know if there will be another progress in the next couple of months but i am not in a hurry because I know that this will take long before making it there or at least next year before it ends again.
Just use it as long term investment. Ethereum gonna be very valuable asset in the future. Bitcoin is as good as ethereum too. You can rely on bitcoin pump that may come in the future.

The crypto cycle will always be coming soon. Ethereum is good for long term hold. You can try to bet on the bitcoin pump.

Buying it now is not bad too caused by it's still very far from its ATH.
We don't know what the future holds so don't be confident. Don't let him hate you and his self if in case your prediction fails. Bitcoin isn't as good as Ethereum but it is more superior than it. To be honest I am more confident in Bitcoin than in Ethereum when it comes to these talks about reaching their highest value because we already witnessed it before. Evidence don't lie.

But indeed, ETH is only good for long-term hold due to its stable nature while BTC is the opposite of it. BTC can work well in any terms. We can trade and short-term invest on it if we want to earn quick and easy profits and we can long term invest on the side if we want to earn massive profits in the future.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering - share your opinion on: August 05, 2023, 03:28:11 PM
My understanding about the meaning of "wagering" is not as what you write here. Wagering for me is simply our betting activity, it has nothing to do with bonuses because bonuses are just side effect for our wagering activities. You should never wager for bonuses or to rank up account, it will force to wager more which will increase your losing chance and the bonuses you may get is not worth with what you lose.
This is its main meaning and those stuffs mentioned by the OP are indeed just an addition to it. There are even sites who doesn't offer any of those but surprisingly I spend a long time on them. I guess that is because they have a jackpot and others who have different perks doesn't have it.

It depends on the players. Like it or not there will always be who will wager to rank up their accounts and claim the bonuses that entails on them. You can see most of them in Stake casino. What's funny is they are always complaining that they got a low bonus. For me, I never prioritize it but I only got motivated of doing so, once I noticed that I'm very close on hitting the VIP or its other levels.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 04, 2023, 06:29:16 PM
Less than 4 weeks to go for the start of Asia Cup. The first match (between Pakistan and Nepal) will be played on 30th August (Multan Cricket Stadium), and this will be one of the four matches to be played in Pakistan (and the only home match for them). Three days later, Pakistan will travel to Sri Lanka and face India at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. The last match of Group A will be played between India and Nepal on 4th September at the same venue. The fact that two countries will be hosting the tournament adds a lot of complexity this time.
Even I agreed about this but mostly Asian sports and fans are not familiar with this all just because of this we feel complexity about this in European leagues and few times big events this all is regular just because of this we never feel any problem about these things there for me now it's time for us to have things like these because with these things can go in positive way even this all is not easy but if someone tries then most chances things can take good turn about this all.

Sports it surely needs to have something positive for bringing peoples near and ending tensions and many other conflicts which are currently creating problems for common peoples and countries as well in future we need Bangladesh and Nepal also try in this way and then Pakistan with Afghanistan can also go with this same way again in future.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Things to Consider When Choosing an Online Casino on: August 04, 2023, 05:48:04 PM
The majority already said it and I have to agree, a casino license shouldn't be one of the top things to look out for because a casino license doesn't mean gamblers are safe from most issues. We shouldn't prioritize these licenses when other unlicensed casinos can provide the same quality as most of these licensed casinos.

Out of the five things, the fourth (deposit options) is probably the most important for most gamblers because transaction fees can be a problem when crypto casinos can set the fees they want and others are possibly profiting from it.
For me, it is. I always believe that a fully licensed casino have already complied to the government and if they have done something inappropriate, we can easily report them and we can get refunded for our losses. If they have the ability to process these things then they might also have a better security and other quality service.

I also don't mind if they will ask for a KYC because I'm confident that they are trusted. Now moving on the deposit options. As long as the casino supports multi-coin other than Bitcoin, I'm fine with it. Usually, transaction fees are at a minimal level but what bothers me is the minimum withdrawal which are sometimes high enough for a small gambler like me.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do exchanges impact the performance of newly listed token? on: August 04, 2023, 05:02:00 PM
In my opinion, it is undeniable that the choice of exchange for the initial token listing or token sale is quite influential in the development or at least the acceptance of the new coin or token. Because after all, we will prefer new cryptos that are listed on trusted exchanges than those that are listed on new exchanges or low-cap exchanges that do not have a reputation. This is of course very risky for our funds to invest. Even though it won't guarantee 100% that the better the exchange means the better the project, at least this is to minimize scams.
I think top or big exchanges nowadays don't really care if the project that they will list is shady or not but they will list them as long as they can afford the listing fee. They even have a disclaimer that they are not responsible for the loss of the investors but it's a good thing if they also mentioned that investors must still do a research before they invest on any projects that they see.

After all, a project listed on a good quality exchange will also get a good demand even though they are not good enough in terms of technology. This is why many coin supporters always request for the coins to get listed on a high quality exchange so that they can benefit even better.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 04, 2023, 04:38:31 PM
Transition period or not, it would be a huge task for England. If i am not wrong then it's been a decade since they won a single match in Australia and most of their Australian tours ended with a clean sweep.

Moeen Ali already said no to test cricket and took an unofficial retirement for the second time.
In last four tours we have England won a series after 24 years in Australia year 2010-11 and then in next three tours we have no win for the England team in Australia and score of defeat was 2013-14 Australia 5 - 0, 2017-18 Australia 4 - 0 and then in last tour again we have 2021-22 Australia 4 - 0 and most chances now in next tour as things are going we will have again no win for the England team because they are not good enough to have anything positive Broad gone and now Anderson also can go anytime with new bowlers needs some good time to make their mark, but their system is never been ideal to give them relative support for this all.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 04, 2023, 04:05:18 PM
Too many T20 leagues are ongoing at the same time, and it is quite difficult to keep track of all of them. The Hundred as well as the Lanka Premier League is in the group phase, while the Global T20 has moved to the qualifier/eliminator phase. The last one is interesting to me, because a large number of players from associate nations are taking part. In 20 minutes time, we have the match between Surrey Jaguars and Vancouver Knights. SJ has players such as Sandeep Lamichhane and Bernard Scholtz, while VK has associate representation in the form of Ruben Trumpelmann.
After having live action of The Ashes now mostly leagues are looking boring even end of MLC and now Global T20 is also heading for the end and LPL and The Hundred is going to have few days actions now I am waiting for the action from top Asian teams in Asia Cup and then after this in World cup this all will be in ODI format.

Right now, we have match between Galle Titans vs Jaffna King where Dunith Wellalage bowl amazing spell of his overs and take 4 wickets after giving 10 runs and restricted Galle Titans for the only 117 runs which is looking easy target in presence of long and solid batting line-up and if Jaffna Kings able to win this match then most chances they could be at the second spot of league table.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to invest in bitcoin to build a country whose economy is down? on: August 03, 2023, 07:10:59 PM
Why does people nowadays keep asking this same question , when we can just look at what happened in EL Salvador after their action in which the very first country to adopt bitcoin as legal tender.

is their any big happening in the country? do their economy grows and increases while adoption is happening?

if does then good , but I believe it is a NO? so you already knew what is the answer here?
I don't know whether you follow the economic development of El Salvador or not. But based on what I found the country of El Salvador did have some economic improvements in terms of state revenue in tourism after they officially adopted bitcoin as legal tender. But I don't want to explain it further. because there is already a thread that is always the place to update the latest information regarding the development of bitcoin adoption in El Salvador. namely this one topic. (El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻). I think the country has benefited pretty well after adopting Bitcoin.
I think that part is regarding bitcoin but also regarding getting more attention as well. It's definitely because bitcoin is legal tender there and the people who go there could be regarding bitcoin as well, or there could be a lot more crypto companies that move there because they know it's legally fine.

However, I also think that it got their name out, not a lot of people heard about them or really considered them a tourist spot before this, but after this happened there were a lot of people who started to think about it, regardless of crypto, just as a marketing ploy as well. This is why I believe that we should not really be considering the situation all that weird, it's normal that if El Salvador did it, some other nations could too.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2023, 06:32:45 PM
I don't worry about this anymore, I am glad there are still a few who can notice this.
Well, the sports industry combined with the gambling industry is growing which could be one of the factors on why it's more popular now.
Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin on the other hand became an asset so there's not much to talk about it, unlike the daily changes in sports rosters, wins, losses, and more.
Then, there's also the growth of online gambling sites, easy access to every gambler, they don't need to ride to the casino because they can do it at home.
A continuous happening can make something popular while the idle one like Bitcoin is still popular although it only happens with big events such as the halving and the ETF case.
I just think that it is not that much of a big deal, too many people worry about this, but I feel like whatever happens happens. Yes there are a lot of people who lose money due to gambling becoming bigger, and yes we should help the addiction be done, there are people who lose their lives because of it, they just can't handle the situation and their psychology doesn't really carry it anymore, which causes a lot of trouble for them.

However, this is a free will type of situation, nobody forces anyone to gamble, so legally speaking, making gambling illegal would be terrible, it means that people can't make their own decisions so governments should make a decision for them, it just doesn't really sound reasonable to me at all.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Slot Streamers on: August 02, 2023, 04:42:23 PM
Here I found a list of Top 10 Casino Slot Streamers which includes Corinna Kopf ,Tyler Faraz Niknamm, Flávio Fernandes and many others.

Do you guys follow the casino streamers and are they fun to watch? Or do you think that playing casino slots yourself is more fun?

While these streamers may earn a good amount of money through streaming, they sometimes may become inspirational to the gamblers which may lead the normal gamblers to gamble more or become addicted too in some cases.
Didn't know the names that were mentioned. Is that site sure that they are among the top? Or maybe it was only biased and being paid to promote those people? I think the real top streamers are Juicy Fruity, Kevin and the other one which I forgot so far but I will comeback here and edit my post once I remember him. I wouldn't follow these streamer if they are not fun to watch.

Another reason why I follow them is that they doing some giveaway. They are giving generous rewards that can hardly be seen anywhere. It does not mean that I don't play with my own. Of course I still do and obviously, it is more fun playing the game your self than just watching it else where. That's right, they can influence the people to gamble and that is why they are being banned on many platforms but it's only up to the person if he will take gambling seriously that it can lead for them to become addicted. It's not the fault of the streamer anymore.
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold coin on: August 02, 2023, 04:11:05 PM
That is your prediction, butI do say that it is possible that it will reach its new ATH, and we don't know if this will happen. Again, no one can predict the future, but again, we took that risk, if ever that happened. Others may say it's too good to be true, but again, nothing is impossible with Bitcoin. No matter what the price of Bitcoin is, I am going to be grateful, but I do really hope that this price will be reached.
At first, you said it's possible but then you also said you don't know if this will happen. Are you confused or what? But if I were to give my opinion, I think $100k for BTC is truly possible because last time's ATH was almost $70k and $100k is not very far from that. Maybe this or next year we will be at $80k and then we will go for $100k at the year of 2025. You said no matter what the price of BTC is, you will be grateful, but what about if it drops to 2022's low? Maybe you will try to make use of that kind of opportunity like most people here always do.

But as long as we are monitoring our investment properly, we can still be able to exit early once we feel that something is not right anymore.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: August 01, 2023, 07:10:11 PM
Even if quitting is difficult, they should still try. It would be better for them than taking a big risk that they couldn't take. Both of them have made a mistake and had a problem, which should be resolved amicably. Between the person who borrowed and the person who lent the money, they can discuss how the borrower can return the money. And the lender should be able to provide enough time for the borrower to return the money. The person who borrowed it could return the money by returning it little by little.
Not everyone who gambled with the loan is losing, but many are also benefiting a lot.  For those who are profiting, they don't have to use any of their own money, but only keep the profit in their own pocket by gambling.  But on the other hand those who gamble with loans and lose are in deep danger. Gambling is very addictive and because of it is a lot of fun everyone gets addicted to it very quickly. Because of this, one thing everyone should keep in mind is whether he can control himself from gambling
They are lucky but they should pay their loans immediately and then try to fix their selves this time, so that they won't lose all the money that they currently have and they won't end up taking another loan because they may not get lucky next time. The good thing about winning is like you said it allows us to play for free but gambling can literally be played for free though the level of happiness that we might get are reduced by some percent.

There might be other things which have a similar effect with gambling. If we know that we have a hard time controlling our selves on them then much better to not engage in gambling at all. As they say, prevention is better than cure.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: August 01, 2023, 03:04:05 PM
If he knew that his parents would be angry when he told the truth about his big win and received the money, it would be better for him not to say anything about it. Better to save the money for a while and act like nothing happened not to arouse any suspicion from his parents. Or he could secretly invest the money into something more beneficial to him. But there was also another option he could make, which was to tell about his winning honestly.
First of all, what he did was wrong because he didn't follow the order of his parent's but now that he already committed the mistake, I think it will now be easy for him to commit another mistake which is to lie, just in case his parents find out about the money. Im sure there must be other profitable activity that is allowed in his country like investing or trading. He can just say that he got the money from those sources. There might still be people who can feel guilty right after making one mistake and they will confess it right away. They think this will lessen the punishment that they will be getting.

His parents loves him and that's why. His will to take an action should not be cause he is afraid of them he must think about god/Allah first. If he don't care about the creator then fuck his parents no need to worry about them.
Our parents are important because without them, we won't exist but without god there's also no people that will exist. There's even a saying that "god must come first". Maybe it's fine to dis-obey our parent's as long as what they are telling to us is not the same as what is written in the bible.
