721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 03, 2023, 08:11:51 PM
Dhaka Dominators managed to collect only 130 runs. The first three players in the top order had a total of just 10 runs. It is very difficult to collect big if the top order does not play well. Rangpur batsmen do not have much problem to win by batting on such a small target. But Rangpur lost 8 wickets. The batsmen should have performed more carefully. Apart from Nurul and Roni, none of Rangpur's batsmen can play well. Dhaka used 7 of their bowlers today. Despite having so many bowlers, Dhaka's performance is not good. However, Rangpur's win in this match made it four consecutive matches.
Dhaka Dominators were one of the worst team in this season and now with this lost they are out of the playoffs race because now we have all four teams at the top and next matches are going to play for the formality nothing impact going to happen on teams today we have early lost for the Dhaka Dominators which bring them down, and they were not able to score big score but still their bowlers done good and match ended in 20th over which is amazing stuff from them specially from their captain who takes two crucial wickets and try to have better ending for them in this season but nothing positive happen now RR and CV both having good winning streak and things are looking interesting for the play-offs as well.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Power Slap League on: February 02, 2023, 08:54:52 PM
Such slap contests were popular in Russia about 3-4 years, specially on YouTube. I know that there are also slap contests in UK and Poland. I personally does not count this as a sport at all. You are right that this is extremely dangerous. Power Slap will close as soon one of the contestants get a brain injury, gets a serious concussion or dies from cerebral hemorrhage.

The problem with Power Slap is that there are no clear rules how strikers can slap. It is only said that they can slap with open hand basically. In Russian version of slaps, it was allowed to slap with fingers only, straight, unbended in elbow arms. And they were allowed to slap only in the cheek or chin. Otherwise you get a disqualification. In Power Slap, they mostly slap with edge of palm (dont know how it is named correctly in English, it is called "abductor digiti minimi" on pictures) to the temple. Or the reffs are suck and warn for such wrong slaps. Anyway, it is like a hook the head. A hook that it is not allowed to block or dodge. This is not sport!
Yeah, I already saw one of this video long time ago and the fat guy is always starring there. I think the guy is Russian. Could be true since you said it was popular in Russia. The hype then died after some time but I am surprised to see a topic like this, only to know that this sport was still active and even some betting sites already have this now.

Maybe not all games have the same rules and that is why someone can get damaged heavily but they better refrain from doing that, and if not then someone can report them to the authorities. After all, people only want to get entertained but seeing someone die or suffer badly isn't fun anymore. The audience can get guilty too.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 02, 2023, 06:39:09 PM
Brisbane Heat need another 61 runs to win, with 10 overs remaining. But they have lost 5 wickets till now. Izharulhaq Naveed, the leggie from Afghanistan has taken two important wickets (that of Nathan McSweeney and Sam Hain). Max Bryant and Michael Neser are batting for Brisbane Heat. The winner of this match will qualify for the BBL finals, to be played on 4th February (Perth Scorchers have already qualified). This edition of the BBL was quite challenging for Cricket Australia, given the competition from other franchise leagues (SA20, BPL and ILT20), as well as overlapping international tours.
Three wins in last three games allow Brisbane Heat to stay at the fifth spot, and now they are going to face leaders PERTH SCORCHERS into final of this season's league what a performance by Michael Neser in challenger against Sydney Sixers with this win now second time they are going to play BBL final which is going to be full of action and entertainment even all test stars are already on way for the tour of India.

After winning the toss, Sixers bat first which give them not good chance to have good target on board for having chance for playing BBL 2023 final against PERTH SCORCHERS just 116 runs with the lost of 9 wickets was not good target, but they have still done good job in bowling and have few early wickets but at the end now we have grand finale between the best teams of this season.
724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why the 95% of future traders lose all of their money on: February 01, 2023, 07:29:52 PM
There is no way to say that 95% of traders lose money, but the majority do, it's true. And it happens not only for beginners, but the majority often happens for beginners due to lack of knowledge and discipline that doesn't support or even doesn't exist at all.

Now in trading, like any other business, money is squeezed out of many of the least savvy traders and given to elite traders.
No way, 100% of all traders will make money, except for a continuous bull market.
Greed, emotional, mental and fear rule the majority and they will lose money for trading reasons.
Indeed 95% seems too much already even though I also saw a lot of threads here about the people who fail on futures trading. To fail can be normal especially if we are only getting started but later on, it is still possible for us to improve and recover what we have lost. Just like in trading that some people will lose first in order for others to profit, that is also how the bull market works.

There will be people first who will lose money during the bear market and then there must be people who will offer their money first (buy coins) to build up the price. If we know that we have all the negative traits that you mention, it will be better to avoid trading first because it can only affect our performances.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 01, 2023, 06:55:43 PM
Even with gambling this will help in collecting the data of the matches played between two teams earlier and based on the outcome it'll give the suggestion. If two new teams were playing then the AI can't make better prediction. So, gambling is an exception in this scenario. Also we can't expect AI to be cent percent as that we predict in games that are really close to each other in odds and performance.
I'm ok with AI helping me in my prediction I've already said that AI is very popular in many industries to help them create and build projects within that industries, AI can analyze past and present performance to recommend future results but it should be up to you to make a final decision because in the ends there are many factors that AI overlooked, it may be perfect in some industries but not in gambling where the results are dynamic and changing.
As long as we are getting a benefit with it then why not right? But we aren't also dumb to continue using them even though the result that we are get are not pleasant anymore. The AI that we see in other industries is way too common now but the one that we have in this topic can still be debatable as it was still new but you said it's already working on your side? Cool then.

BTW, is the AI that you are talking about is ChatGPT? Or maybe there are other AIs which are better than it? Because I heard that Chatgpt has its own main usage and not really being used for betting or for any other things. I can agree that AI can analyse past results but not the future.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: February 01, 2023, 05:28:11 PM
It's smart to make a game that's so exciting and entertaining that people can't help but be pulled to it, as you suggest. There's potential in the thought of trying out a brand-new, original casino game. However, I do get your point; it is challenging to think of anything that is both novel and likely to find widespread acceptance.

But I still believe it's worth a chance if you ask me! A lot of things may happen in the gaming industry, and you never know whether your proposal will be the one that takes the industry by storm. Try new things and expand your understanding of what is feasible; don't give up if at first you don't succeed. After all, that's the only way to discover the next great thing in gaming! Furthermore, I believe that trying new things is preferable than accepting the status quo.
Not smart but it is mandatory so that you can get a customer that will play on your gambling site because no one will ever gamble on a gambling site that has a boring game even if they will only play for profit. There are existing games which are entertaining and it's not wrong to just copy them if creating a new and unique game is likely impossible because there are so many gambling sites created already and almost all ideas are already seen but it only boils down on how you make a template or design for those games.

@OP it's not a bad idea as long as your gambling site is one of a kind but if it's not really then considering adding some established cryptos.
727  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 30, 2023, 07:23:22 PM
First of all you should know that Money is a believe system that works, and Bitcoin is Money which people all over the world has believed base on its transparency that the old Fiat system lacks.

Therefore Bitcoin can only go to zero if Bitcoin lost its value which makes these people to believe so much in it or another senario could be a situation where the government have to ban the use of Bitcoin across the world.
Anything less than that it would have been almost impossible for BTC to go zeros, base on its scarcity and having proven itself for the past 13 years now.
And that is the reason why a lot of people wants to kill or stop Bitcoin because they think it's a threat to fiat. They do what they can including banning BTC. I don't know if they think they are successful with this already or not but some might only be contented once the whole world does the same thing. Fortunately, it didn't happen for now and let's hope it won't also happen in the future. If not then, that must be thing that will make Bitcoin go to zero.

OP asks if what's next. Well, nothing. The crypto world is over and the majority of people will move on to other digital payment methods but for us who are into decentralization, it will be very hard to accept it.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin now so you don't have to regret it later. on: January 30, 2023, 06:08:03 PM
Sometimes we ignored opportunities because we never notice the value of that thing until the time has come that booms out and get surprised. That is the reality of Bitcoin, many people never thought it was a profitable investment because most of us think it will just die. Most of us think negatively and doubt, it gets no attention, and some spend it like no value. But look at now, those people are regret and blaming themselves. Too late to realize but at least we have opened our minds and seen the positive contribution of Bitcoin to our life today and in the coming years.
We don't know that it was an opportunity because if we only know then we will grab it immediately. Many of us who are old timers are lucky because we experienced a second chance and embrace bitcoin before it first booms on the year 2017. Although we already saw that BTC can pump, we can't help but still be surprised of what it had showed on the 2017 bull run.

For those who came recently in the scene, it is not too late yet for them as there are more expected pumps which can be bigger than on what we experienced last time. Investing earlier doesn't mean that you will not regret it anymore. Of course you still can if you lose your investment. This is why continuous learning is also important and not just the timing.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arbitrage betting (Surebets) on: January 30, 2023, 05:25:00 PM
with your explanation here i already know i wont be doing this type of betting anytime soon, but i have heard some of my guys who alway talk about this arbitrage betting and he even paid me once just to register an account with a betting due to the fact that they have restricted his account due to the lots of winning he had they made it sound so 98% reliable and easy to follow. They have really preached about arbitrage betting and was thinking of going into myself but i later learnt it requires a whole lot of funds to follow up this type of gambling and certainly i am not that type of gambler again as i only gamble for fun now and don't want to involve myself in such gambling process that requires lots of stress according to the explanation i got and for sure, i don't want be gambling more on what i dont have.
Yes, it requires a lot of funds because you will be betting on multiple betting sites and you only want to make sure that your effort counts so you should increase your bets because who knows the platform might caught you and you cant do the same thing again next time.

You don't need to follow this kind of set up if you have a doubt and then you are only a small gambler but why not register only accounts for other people, like what you have done before? As long as the site doesn't demand a KYC then there is no need to worry. Maybe if someone trusted you, they will let you do the thing for them and they will only fund your accounts. You have nothing to lose this way.
730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 29, 2023, 07:20:44 PM
Bitcoin can be purchased at any time. but still, an investor will need analysis to determine their investment planning properly. determine future buy and sell prices. as well as the right time frame. maybe you implement a simpler investment system. buy cheap and sell high. it can be applied if indeed new investors have strong patience. which I guess not all beginners have.
Start with short or medium-term investments. it would be better for a beginner. even though it doesn't have a big advantage, the experience gained will be quite valuable as a start for a bigger step.
It can be if you decide to go long-term because you can endure any drop in its value. When there's a dump, you won't sell but you will only buy more. For those who are into shorter terms, they will sell early even at the dip so it's advisable for them to buy only when the value of Bitcoin is dumping so that it won't take them a long time to see an increase. Investing doesn't need to be complicated.

The only thing that you need to figure out is if which term will work for you the most. It was trading are the real ones who are complicated but we can also do it if we want more challenge and if we want to possibly increase our income potential.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: When your passive income equals or slightly above your salary, what would you do on: January 29, 2023, 06:48:21 PM
If you were in my shoes, what would be the best advice you would give yourself and adhere to in this instance?
Taking a decision like that is obviously not easy and it puts you under a bit of pressure. Asking for opinions, suggestions and listening to everyone is a good thing, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to your own personal preferences as to what your life goals and dreams and desires are.

If you think you have enough savings, you have not been eyeing to buy something specific that needs you to earn extra money and all you need is only what you can use to spend your life peacefully, then quitting the job wouldn't really disturb you in anyway. But, if it's the other way around, you definitely will need to continue doing both until you reach the point where you feel that the money from your passive income stream is enough for you to spend your life peacefully and without a problem.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 28, 2023, 09:22:30 PM
If viewership is the case then there are many games in Olympics that have much less viewership then cricket like field hockey. There is criteria like the game must be played in certain amount of countries before its included in Olympics. Beside that ICC is also not much interested in including cricket into Olympics.
In all cases, crickets entry in Olympics is beneficial for the member countries but sadly few big boards are not like this idea and try to disrupt which is surely not good idea from them because with these tactics they are not helping cricket they have to be realistic about this all and things could be also clear for be better future on other side if we have entry into Olympics then surely many more countries will also take interest because now with the t20 and franchise leagues things are going into positive way and players can earn good amount from these leagues and also can enjoy better life.

But ICC own policy is not favourable for this all, and they are trying to stay away from this all which is clearly indicating things are not going on merit it's all happening just for the few members hold on this all.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 28, 2023, 08:13:52 PM
Is it safe to say that casino platforms is running their business with users find only? I read somewhere that they pay winners with losers money, I couldn't ask him or her if a casino can start business with zero fund at hand, I know that most of them wired their system to favour them more ( lose more and win less ) , if not they will run out of business fast I belief, what do you think about this? Was I wrong about this? Come to think of this, there is no prove that they have some money to pay winners.
It's not possible to start a casino with zero funds, but it could be possible to keep running once it is stable enough and have a good base of active players losing and winning but mostly losing due to greed which is what happens in casinos most of the times. Once they get their roots inside the soil of the industry, they no more will need to worry much about money, but I believe still most casinos keep some money aside in case it's needed for a jackpot winner or something similar to that.

After establishing, funds cannot be a concern as people will keep adding to their bankroll and most of them will fail to get eligible to withdraw. But, initially you must need some good amounts of funds and based on those funds you can seal a upper cap for maximum winning and for pay-out.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 28, 2023, 02:49:43 PM
I don't consider Liverpool as a weak team but as said they are weaker than Real Madrid and currently have worse form than Real Madrid.
They are not a weak team because regardless of the condition of the club and the majority of current players they are not too fit to be called a weak team. It's just that their current condition is not very possible because of their poor performance and the many gaps they have on every front which makes it a little complicated for them.
Against Madrid they always have a bad impression because the few times they met in the final they always had a bad day and now with their current condition it's clear there is some sentiment that definitely won't be too good for them.
Poor form never been considered as weaker team with Liverpool is surely had good players which are capable of giving their best and also can beat any club on their day but right now their performance and momentum is badly disturbed which is hurting them for having good performance in last few matches they are now had nearly 25 days left in their game against, and they also have few tough matches in Premier League before this big encounter which will give how things works for them even still they have good performance in Champions League but it's never been easy to play against defending champions and team which is having better performance from them as things can go either way in this match.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 27, 2023, 09:04:11 PM
I don't think that only PCB rely on funds from ICC. Except a few like India, Australia & England every other board depends on those funds. The biggest revenue generator for ICC is BCCI and it has now become so big that if India wants to move out of ICC many other countries would follow them and ICC would never want that to happen.
This is why I have argued for more team from India in the ICC competitions. Look at the last T20 World Cup. United Arab Emirates was one of the participants and most of the team members were Indian citizens. What is the point in having such a team? A much better option would be to have the Indian U-23 team or the India A team to participate in the tournament. In this way, the ICC can maximize revenues from India and they can put an end to the sham of Arab teams fielding "national" team that are entirely comprised of foreigners.
Even I agreed about few points from your side but still allowing more teams from India has never been fair because just having the biggest market is never been ideal situation here India needs to be act like big and use their power for having better and fair policies which help this game, and we will be able to have more countries and better results because this is need of the time despite having this fair policy these all culprits are doing poor decisions and going into Olympics with eight teams are never been idea situation as well.

I believe India is the biggest stakeholder and with this surely they need to be give their collaboration for the improvement and positive development, but sadly we have the worst things happening like UAE having all Indians and no one taking any action against this which is surely against the fair play policy.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 27, 2023, 05:30:02 PM
England lost their first wicket for 146 runs. But they lost three wickets within 152 runs. Ben Duckett 3 and Harry Brook returned to the dressing room for 0 runs. They should have batted more responsibly. However, Jason Roy is still unbeaten at the crease with 94 runs. And if Roy is at the crease then England will win the match. But now if Jason Roy is out then it will not be easy for England to win this match. Roy must try to survive the creek. Because after losing three consecutive wickets, the England team is now in a lot of trouble.
Agreed about this all suddenly three wickets bring back South Africa into match now all depend on this last pair which is at the crease because after them England having very long tail with Moeen Ali and Sam Curran can do batting but right now required runs are still 133 with 25 overs left.

Jason Roy is in good touch with having blasting Century on just 79 balls, but now it's time to have calm down and spend good time on crease for having better end of this match after having ideal start with opening stand of 146 South African attack are not looking as they have to be for this first ODI against world champions.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good news for APT? on: January 27, 2023, 02:36:21 PM
There was no big news related with aptos coin. I think that's purely hype. I don't see any good news that has come to the aptos. aptos was just the same as another common blockchain in the market such as solana. it's not second layer blockchain. So many people were also till talking about that right now about which potential news that has been triggering aptos to go up like that. A bit strange to see that aptos was going up so crazy like that. Will aptos reach 10 billions marketcap?
Well, you likely never research before responding to this thread. You can check this twitter thread from Binance Research: https://twitter.com/BinanceResearch/status/1618240040227983361?t=gU7DrebXj_NFErqXJiv6FQ&s=19. There's nothing as huge or small on news, the important thing is that they deliver what's on their roadmap. Just because it was not a second layer blockchain doesn't mean it's not meant for a ride or to grow in development. It's not impossible tbh.
I think that's not consider as a news but post like this which came from big names such as Binance will surely made a great impact for the coin that they are talking about but as long as the tone of the post is also positive of course.

I think this can also be considered as a hype. Yes, coins with good potential can also experience it and not just those coins with no solid use cases A.K.A the meme coins but even if the coin didn't get any public recognition, but as long they are following their plans properly or on what is written on their roadmap then that is still commendable. There are a couple of good coins who aren't also a second layer blockchain so why can't Aptos right?
738  Other / Off-topic / Re: White Card entered in Football !!! on: January 27, 2023, 12:36:23 PM
Well... I think the introduction of a white card in football seems rather pointless. It's unclear what purpose it serves. Is it supposed to promote good sportsmanship? If so, I would argue that there are already plenty of ways for officials to enforce fair play and good behavior on the field or court. The idea of a white card just seems like an unnecessary and confusing addition to the already established rules and regulations of the game.

And judging by the reactions I've seen on social media, it appears that I'm not alone in this sentiment.
The OP already states if what this card do so I wouldn't called it pointless. It just replace the traditional colour. I guess that fine only to see something new in the field of football. It's not the white card itself who promotes good sportsmanship but it's only just an additional tool that is used by the referees but other than that. It is also shown when someone is injured or needs a medical attention as what stated in the OP.

Maybe it also has a different purpose other than this. I think those who complain are not a true fan of this game. They question a thing that they aren't in control of. If that so then they better create their own game, with their own rule.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 27, 2023, 06:40:52 AM
Napoli is playing really well this season. They are far ahead of any other team this season. They are 12 points ahead of the team, which is in the second position, Milan. They are very confident about this season.

I believe they are not going to let go of this advantage that they have right now. But I also believe that they are not going to take things easy even though they are ahead in terms of so many points. I believe they are going to win against Roma in the next match. But at the same time it is going to be a very important match for Roma because if they can win this one, they have a potential chance to go ahead to the second position in the table.
Current Napoli form is clearly indicating they are not going to allow any team for having trouble for them in coming matches, and they are going to win this season's league title in their style which is surely looking impressive because things are completely under their control and after Juventus drama they have no big headache for the challenge both Milan sides are losing points and having no consistency which is also giving them good advantage.

Roma is surely having better performance but still they are not good enough to stop Napoli from destroy them at their home like they have done against Juventus which was doing good job in last few matches and having no lost in many matches but badly suffer against the leaders in their match at Naples.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 26, 2023, 09:29:06 PM
Arsenal may not be able to win Manchester City because Guardiola knows too well that he is loosing the Premier League title to Arsenal. I expect him to feature stronger legs in order to eliminate Arsenal from FA Cup.
If they lose out to Arsenal in Fa Cup, they may also lose out to Arsenal in the main league which will be very abnormal.
If Arsenal can win Manchester city in FA cup, Arsenal will have confidence that they will also win Manchester city in Premier League, to be honest I think Manchester city will defeat Arsenal in both FA cup and premier league, any club that win in the FA cup will have higher chances of winning in Premier League. Seriously it won't be a easy match for both team in FA cup and Premier League, Manchester City will do everything possible to defeat Arsenal tomorrow and I also believe they will win.
Even I also have feeling Manchester City could be the winner in these both matches but still we have to watch Arsenal preparation for this season as well which is amazing from the first match, and they are not allowing any team to have replaced them from the top rank which is surely amazing stuff from the players and coach work with this it's never been easy for the Manchester City to have win in this match easily because both teams moral is high, but Arsenal is having better performance and confidence which is helping them for having better results.

Most chances we will have draw in this The FA Cup match with win for the Manchester City in Premier League match because this could be challenging for the Arsenal and also create good interest for the fans until end of the season but still these are just predictions which can go wrong, and we can have completely results as well in these both matches.
