41  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Want 100 BTC for USD on: October 27, 2013, 06:16:41 AM
Payment method: any reversible means of payment, or seller sends first  Cheesy
I will pay over PayPal. The money will be sent as a gift so no fees are paid. If there are any fees, I wil cover them.

I don't mind sending the payment first.  We can also split the amount we exchange each day until the full amount agreed upon is met. I will only send the money first if the use is reputable and trust worthy.

I can have a seller vouch for me whome I bought 2 Jupiters from and paid via PayPal.

My PayPal account has over 100K+ verified transactions and your free to call paypal and ask them about my company and the number of complaints/disputes I received and any other concerns you may have. They'll put your mind at ease. Wink

Yeah well that's all fine and dandy, but such a large transaction over paypal is just screaming to get scammed.

44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoinera.net - Worth Investing? on: October 26, 2013, 11:20:17 PM
Uses same source code as BitcoinWallet.in, a confirmed scam.

The source code for the wallet part of bitcoinera.net is from some open source code others might have used too.
We dont run any other wallet sites.

Oh really?

Bitcoinera also runs on the same codebase. I've removed the articles from the wiki - whoever re-adds them should get their wiki account deleted.

Looks like it's Bitcointom...

49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Nokia invest $7.2 billion in Bitcoins and what would happen if they did? on: September 03, 2013, 04:56:03 PM
As for Nokia and Bitcoin: Why would they? Nokia can now focus on their core business which has long been tires. Yes, they make tires, and have been for decades.

Actually, no, that's Nokian Tyres, which came from the same "Ur"-company as Nokia originally, but have been an independent company for 20 years.

Nokia makes tires? I bet they never go flat!
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Howcome so little traction in online porn world? on: August 23, 2013, 05:36:59 PM
Why would you even pay for porn? I mean seriously... This... Is... The... Internet.........

People do pay for it still, as long as people pay for it, there will be sellers. Some people want more interaction and are willing to pay for it.

So there is definitely a market for this, especially for the fact that transactions can't be reversed, which is a problem with the porn industry.

"Hey Honey, why is there a charge on our credit card from COMEBANGMENOW.COM? Did you buy porn?"

"Why... no honey I didn't..."

Chargeback city.
51  Economy / Lending / Re: .11 btc loan on: August 17, 2013, 07:16:32 AM
huh? I'm a noob with the blockchain so idk what you guys are really talking about, but I definitely did use the .11 btc loan for a purchase.

EDIT: maybe this will help make sense.. the wallet I posted was my silk road wallet because I needed the BTC immediately (it saved me time from sending it to my blockchain wallet, then to silk road)
Thanks for clearing that up.
Indeed, but now comes the question "why havent the funds been spent/moved on the other end?"
I have no idea, I know very little about bitcoins.. all I know is I would never scam anyone because its wrong and also my account would be banned and I would have no way of buying bitcoins ever again

How did you purchase something with BTC, if that BTC that was loaned to you, is still sitting at the account.

You may as well have not even have it, since it never moved.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Note Design on: August 16, 2013, 07:29:11 AM
It's very pixelated in photoshop. It's only 72 DPI.
Well my picture certainly isn't anywhere as pixelated as the image you posted. I'm a web designer, not a graphics designer, and I didn't draw this note by hand. I simply combined and modified a range of existing pics to produce the final result. I wasn't planning to share it but the final result came out better than I expected. If it doesn't meet your requirements I can't do much about it.

I wasn't sure if you made it custom or imported the graphics. Just trying to provide some constructive criticism for future cases.

Anytime you are making something to be printed you want a higher DPI.

IT IS A FORUM. Now gtfo off my threads unless you have something nice to say, your post count is even lower than mine here on another forum, you obviously have some hate to get out...lol well take it elsewhere dick.

Because post counts = integrity!
54  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 50 to 100 BTC Loan at 20% interest on: August 16, 2013, 04:48:39 AM
Why should I risk coming to anyone here over going to my bank?   Yes, accept the conditions of the lenders or move along.  But, are you trying to present yourselves as a viable option to the traditional banking system, or, do you only want to attract the desperate who have no other alternative?

I'm more curious than anything to be honest.

There is more to bitcoin than just borrowing money.
55  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 50 to 100 BTC Loan at 20% interest on: August 16, 2013, 04:19:36 AM
Yup, I "get it".   No worry there.   All I'm saying is flagrant use of the Rep system in such a manner without an ounce of proof just scares away legitimate borrowers from whom you could make some money.   Just my opinion, but yes its the internet and nobody gives a $hit so move along I suppose.

Someone who registers and requests a $10,000+ loan within 24 hours of registering isn't exactly a legitimate borrower.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Note Design on: August 16, 2013, 01:12:02 AM
It looks nice, but the resolution is way, way, way too low. Especially for printing.
Well the note I printed out looks fine. Unless you want to print a very large note I don't see why it would be a problem.

It's very pixelated in photoshop. It's only 72 DPI.

You should try around 300+ DPI.

58  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 50 to 100 BTC Loan at 20% interest on: August 15, 2013, 10:00:29 PM
I understand what you're trying to do... but is it really helpful to abuse the trust system? If I asked for a loan would you give me negative trust?
Better safe than sorry.
And to answer your question, probably not before investigation. The only ones who get flaged right away are the ones jumping directly from newbie jail to lending/markeplace.

Perhaps people should have to put up 1-5 BTC before they're allowed to ask for a loan. It seems most loans that are below this are nonsense anyway, really, a loan to buy pot or a shirt? Please.
59  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-08-13 Senate panel kicks off broad look at Bitcoin on: August 15, 2013, 08:28:14 AM
Everything they declare war on becomes SUPER EXPENSIVE.

Not really. I can buy weed on a street dealer for half the price the same weed costs in a dutch coffeeshop. Same thing with cigarettes, you can buy them for half price if you get the foreign ones from a mom and pop shop.

Thing is, the supply of drugs would be significantly higher of it was legal, more supply, lower prices. It would also be far more productive because you'd no longer have to waste vast amounts of resources trying to hide everything.
