41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Has Avalon promised not mining themselves after the Batch#2 ? on: January 30, 2013, 09:11:51 AM
Who cares what they need? Do you need an asic device for mining bitcoins? Answer:No
Maybe it's just something they want. Like how you want what you want. What does it matter?

*I typed a whole bunch more stuff that  I knew would just tick people off real good. I thought about it, then erased it.
Just not worth it. I can't wait till this seemingly endless period of time to finally come to an end.
42  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: If ASICs don't make it, would you go for an FPGA model? on: January 28, 2013, 06:39:21 AM
I'm in the process of buying a Modminer Quad, because
A) It fit's my price range
B) Super cool looking
C) It will still be profitable for a few more months
D) I have free electricity

I don't know if you really understand this, but do you know that you "might" make about 7 bitcoins over the course of those couple of months. Totally not worth it unless you only pay about $120 for it. Just Sayin'
43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Interested in AVALON guy? Come on, let me show u his TRUE COLOR. on: January 25, 2013, 07:56:00 AM

44  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bASIC customers - Are you quitting or switching? on: January 23, 2013, 08:35:08 PM
Wow, that's crazy. The whole forum is gone except for the one thread.
45  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Ships on: January 21, 2013, 05:16:54 AM
It might be a DHL global mail shipment. Google "DHL global mail", click tracking, and then american or european shipment. Had one from newegg the other day. It took me forever to figure ot out because I was on the wrong DHL website.

Edit: click track your package then click domestic or international. Not american or european, I just checked it out

Where did you get this heat map?
47  Economy / Goods / Re: btc trinkets: Bitcoin Tiepins, Cufflinks, Lapel pins, Keychain, Money Clip on: January 17, 2013, 09:22:18 PM
Just got mine in today and boy am I happy! The money clip is exceptionally sturdy and the tiepin is equally awesome! I will be buying from again. I did not use escrow and will not in the future with this seller.

48  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Anyone w/ FPGAs should keep their eye on this on: January 17, 2013, 05:18:57 PM
um why wouldn't you just keep mining with a fpga  they don't consume much power
and if they have already paid for them selves just keep mining withem

people still mined with gpus even after the fpgas came out
Because when you make 0.05 BTC a month, it doesn't make it worth it no matter how little electricity it consumes.

49  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WOW! BFL is refusing full bitcoin refunds! on: January 17, 2013, 04:43:44 PM
I guess I'm gonna have to use this example again for the 5 year olds.

Why do people not get this? It was NOT priced in bitcoins!!! Here's an example of what did NOT happen...

(First Day) BFL Single SC - 100 btc or $621
(Next Day) BFL Single SC - 100 btc or $857
(Months later) BFL Single SC - 100 btc or $1424

Get it? The price has stayed in US dollars. Not hard to figure out.

@Becoin....you are an idiot and should leave the bitcoin community entirely if you can't figure it out. Just sayin'

52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bASIC not shipping / change of owership / refunds etc. on: January 13, 2013, 04:24:42 AM
@lukasbradley

53  Economy / Goods / Re: New Bitcoin embriodered hats! About 1.35 BTC shipped USA on: January 12, 2013, 11:22:48 PM
Not sure where you get the blanks caps, but Outdoor Cap makes some nice fitted dry-fit material caps. I'm able to get the caps with a 3D embroidered logo for $16 each in quantity. And fwiw, I'd prefer just the bitcoin logo, instead of both the logo and the "bitcoin".

I agree with just the logo, and not any bigger than an American half-dollar.
54  Economy / Goods / Re: New Bitcoin embriodered hats! About 1.35 BTC shipped USA on: January 12, 2013, 11:35:13 AM
When I buy those types of hats in the store they generally cost about $22. I do understand though that the hat you are offering is cheaper.
55  Economy / Goods / Re: New Bitcoin embriodered hats! About 1.35 BTC shipped USA on: January 12, 2013, 12:43:09 AM
I'm sorry but this hat is ugly. Someone might need to go back to the drawing board on this one. I want a Bitcoin hat sooooo bad, but there is no way I'm gonna be caught wearing something so hideous just because it has the word "bitcoin" on it. Please make a cool one so I can buy one or maybe even more of them.

Zephyr makes awesome hats that I normally buy from Lids in a nearby mall. I don't like the flat-billed hats like some people do. Here is an example of some designs that would look awesome with "bitcoin" and the "B" logo on it.

56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bASIC not shipping till end of March on: January 09, 2013, 11:09:24 AM
@MeSarah
Dude, you never tried to help him. You only came on here to talk a bunch of bull just like you are doing now. Everyone will get a refund that asks for one so please stop spreading crap like that. Tom might have failed at his asic mission and is now throwing in the towel because he doesn't know what else to do, but he is in no way trying to keep people's money from them. There is a reason why the moderators remove your posts. Get to steppin'!
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bad news for bASIC - not shipping til mid Jan at best on: January 08, 2013, 08:05:05 AM
Is he drunk? He sounds drunk.

Would not like to be in his shoes right now, even if he is wasted in them.
58  Economy / Goods / Re: btc trinkets: Bitcoin Tiepins, Cufflinks, Lapel pins, Keychain, Money Clip on: January 08, 2013, 07:52:25 AM
I'm thrilled to say I just purchased (through p.m., w/o escrow) a money-clip and a tiepin from Isokivi. Will get back and let everyone know what I think once I receive them in the mail.
59  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bad news for bASIC - not shipping til mid Jan at best on: January 08, 2013, 07:44:30 AM
The end of March is way too fucking long away! Cashed out "long-time-go" as the Chinese would say. I don't know when any company can deliver. I hope someone does soon though so I can dive in.
