There's a guy on the forum who makes his business doing just that: selling Amazon gift cards for Bitcoin, so there is a market for that sort of thing. I've bought a few of them myself. If you wanted to give it a shot, you'd probably be able to sell a few. Just make sure you're willing to use an escrow, since many people will not want to trade with a new member who refuses one.

I can vouch for OVP. I did a trade with him for a download code where I sent my BTC first. He not only gave me the game, but some free points in appreciation for sending my end first. I know one good trade isn't enough for total trust, but I personally don't believe this guy is scamming people.

Is this referring to the mad ravings of Micon? The guy who called Josh a mentally disabled pedophile? That's less "biased" and more "justice."

I'm a MultiBit man myself. I highly recommend it.

Thanks, Blazr - it was a very generous offer and I appreciate it It's good transactions and deals like this that give me hope for the community.

I've also noticed a significant slow down in gift-card/code sales in Marketplace too. On the flip, there's been a handful of newb lenders offering fractional loans. Hmm...
I've noticed that too. Everyone is desperate to make BTC any way they can, it seems.

There's been a few topics going around about the guy. I think John The Dog confirmed that he's been banned for it.

Thank you
The case has now been confirmed by both parties.
We will now send the necessary invoices and add an arbitrator to your case within 2 working days or receiving payment.
You will receive an email notification with further instructions soon.
EDIT: It seems like the case isn't going to go through. Judge.me told me that they need the name of the individual or company representative, and MoneyPakTrader doesn't seem to want to disclose it.
So now we wait for him to come on here and claim that you're scamming him by not going through with the arbitration again?

Libertarians have it hard in my state for one big reason, I believe: straight-party voting. I was looking at election results for state congress, and every election had the democratic and republican candidates almost 50/50 split, with the libertarian candidate getting just a couple thousand votes at most.
I thought it was strange, but my state tends to be very moderate (presidential elections have us swinging back and forth). I figure that a big portion of people here vote straight party, and since the libertarians usually don't have major candidates it leaves them not standing any chance in winning. Nothing to do with people not agreeing with their ideas, but more to do with people not wanting to take the time to review the full list of candidates.
I guess that's why some libertarians run as republicans. It gives them a chance to actually get in.

I don't see why they would consider that a high risk transaction. Contact their twitter feed for additional support, and if they don't help you out... well, I guess they'll lose more business.

Just posted today and it's already out-of-date, lol! $33.49 according to my client... who'd have thunk it? Other than, of course, the entire Bitcoin community.

I recommend BTCQuick if they're in-stock. I've bought from them a couple of times without a problem.

Very cool BTC coin design you guys have.
Was the facebook page supposed to have a preview of the wallpaper? I didn't see it, but I may have missed it.

I wouldn't trust the testimony in a necro'd thread of a confirmed scammer.
If it weren't for the numerous similar allegations, I would have doubts also. Have you read the tradefortress review thread? After having dealt with this scammer firsthand and read the numerous other stories that recount almost the exact same modus operandi, it's a safe bet that he intends to continue scamming forum users with offers of programming services he is incompetent to perform. I've read it. Only one other person came forward with a similar claim, and neither his nor your testimony really convinces me of any wrongdoing on his part. Outside of that thread, the only other bad review is this one here. And like I said: it's an old thread posted by a confirmed scammer. Not very compelling evidence. And from what I can tell, even if you're right, it's still not a scam: at worst it ends up as overpriced work.

If you gotta use an online wallet, blockchain is the one to use. I have it on my phone to keep a few BTC on me if I want to buy something in person (which isn't often in my area, lol). I prefer MultiBit myself. Doesn't load the whole blockchain and it's very easy to use.

Maybe the strippers could tattoo QR codes on their ass-checks?

I hadn't heard of Shire Silver before, but it's a pretty neat idea. I've never really been into silver and gold, but a pocket sized silver card would be fun to add to my currency collection, lol!
