Any sport can be a worst to bet on depending on the hobby you are having and also the opinion that you have based on the actual situation of their federations.

IMO, there's no way to know if someone is telling the truth that they're corrupt because there's always the hidden secret and not-so secret turn of events from the call of the referees.

They shouldn't just call on the referee but also the judge or scorers if the fight ends with an unanimous decision.
Exactly, any sport is prone to this kind of issue, even how popular the sport is. That's why there are some gamblers who are just betting on huge tournaments or for example in specific sports, the tournament or league is the most popular one, or some betting once the tournament is already in the championship or finals, just making sure they are safe for some match-fixing or any related issue.
Yes, the bigger ones are unlikely to have this kind of issue but they can never be safe from so called "mafia".

Exactly! It really depends on where do you want to place your bet, Everything seems possible, sometimes our instincts or what we expect to win can be defeated depending on the flow of the game so we can't really be complacent even if we have memorized the tactics and strategy of the party we support.
So as a bettor, you know what are the potential issues that a certain match can be with. But if you are mostly following the professional scene, you will not need that much effort with it.

But as I've said, they are unlikely to be dealt with such but you'll never know.

I am an android fan while my wife is an iOS user. What I don't like with android nowadays, the cheap ones have got the bloatwares.

Those crazy ads that you have no option to remove them will pop up when you do something important and they're annoying. They said that the newer versions don't have them anymore.

If it's about cheap and saving money, the chinese phones are great for that but I think they're designed for kids and gaming. But if you're a grown up and adult, you want a peaceful phone that can stand by for so long and won't invade your privacy.

Another important point is not to give up. We must make our best plans and work well for our goal. Acting in a planned manner often leads to the goal.
When you think that your plans are going to work, and you start to see its failure within the first tries. It's fine not to give up but when you have done attempts several times and it's still not working, you may consider to change your plans and not to give up.

Sometimes I advise people if their best option is to give up even if they've got detailed plans and executions, they can give up if that's going to give them peace of mind.

Remember that wealth can't be measured if you have no peace of mind and it's draining you up to your soul.
Quitting is never an option. You can change plans but still focus to the same goal, to make decent earnings and be profitable in the long run. However, not everyone has the potentials to invest because no matter what they do, failure is inevitable. With that, if quitting will be the best option to save them from losses, then let it be. But know that we should not stop from seeking earning opportunities even if it means shifting careers, otherwise we will end up with financial struggles and we’ll starve to death.
It is an option.

When you think that you are doing all that you can but the one path you have chosen as a profession or a business person is too saturated, you have to give it up.

That's why we believe that giving up isn't an option because there's the thought that giving up is just for losers. No, it's an option for you to get redirected to a better choice that you probably haven't seen yet.

And that's why the bold part that you have said contradicts your own words.

When someone experiences failure on the first try, of course this will make it difficult for someone who is mentally weak to try again, but for those who have a growth mindset, of course this will make them find out where they made a mistake so they can correct it and try again until they they achieve what they want to be realized.

Choosing to give up and not continue with the plans we have made is sometimes a good thing, because if we force ourselves to do this we might experience failure which will make it harder for us to face and I think giving up is indeed the right choice.
Giving is sometimes a good thing when you're tired and can't do it anymore because you only see the negative out of your efforts. But if you're going to do a lot of excuses and you only want to quit and forget about your dream, it is your reason and so, simply quit.

The winners don't give up but it's best to say that they take a rest for a moment and gets back to their grind and do things on their own again. Moving forward to the goal that they want to achieve and that is becoming a successful person.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 21, 2024, 09:06:17 PM
Well, anybody will be totally in disappointment with what happened. I agree that they still did great this season, after winning the last season's ring, they still made it far to the playoffs.

The sad truth there, it seems that the Nuggets only has three players.

Jokic, Murray and Gordon.

Only Jokic is the consistent amongst the 3, Murray had on/off performance, and Gordon wasn't able to contribute and stop ANT as well. Porter Jr, who average close to 20 points didn't get double digits in the majority of the game and his shooting is awful.

While the Wolves has a lot of players stepping up, like Gobert, although a liability in defense if he faces Jokic, he was big in the middle and even scored a lot in the last game. So with Naz Reid who played good defense on Jokic, while Alexander-Walker put Murray on lock mode. KAT is big if he is not in foul trouble and as former 3 point champion, he shoots from that range uncontested and makes it.
Yeah, Porter Jr was also their contributor but for the past games he didn't do that much.

Great defense against the Nuggets is their weakness. And that's where the Wolves are great, now we're going to see the first match of the conference finals.

The Boston Celtics vs Indiana Pacers, the crowd favorite of course the Celtics.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 21, 2024, 12:21:33 PM
Yeah that was a crazy game but it wasn't ant who won them that game it was the other guys.  Naz Reid came up huge.  Jaden McDaniel had a quiet 23, and that putback by KAT on that offensive rebound was so clutch.  First time in history anyone has come back in the playoffs down by 15 or more.  Gonna male for a great wcf (which the NBA finals winner should come out of).
No doubt KAT shined on that game. And the solid defense against Jokic did also helped him not to have that scoring position.

It's so frustrating on the side of the Denver Nuggets when they're almost sure going to end the game with a lot of lead. Coming from 20 points lead to losing the game on that game 7.

 Undecided

That was really disappointing and you can see on the interview of coach Malone.

Michael Malone Upset at Reporter's Question After Nuggets Game 7 Loss to Wolves

But they need to move on now, at least they won a championship last season, so they just need to improve this team again. Probably it's also time for them to think of getting rid of players that are not so useful in the playoffs, Jokic and Murray will remain as they are the bread and butter of the team, but they should be sorrounded with great role players, so they'll time they'll not choke.

At which moment did you abandon your original life
Original life? is there another life that we have to live on? Because AFAIK, the life that we're living right now is the original one.

and challenge the unknown?
Life is full of challenges and we have to deal with them, whether we like it or not. We only have one life to live and we're going to pass away on this world so, if you are dealing with such difficulties. Think of it as they're just going to pass by and you'll eventually able to surpass and overcome those.

53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading belongs to everyone? on: May 20, 2024, 09:34:16 PM
well, many think that trading is suitable for everyone. In fact, I came across several cases that some people traded without any basis and followed the hype, and ended up losing. This makes them frustrated because they use up the main money they have, so they say they regret trading. However, I think not everyone will be suitable for trading, especially if he gets stressed easily.
And that's why it isn't suitable for everyone. There are so many traders that are doing it because they know how to trade.

While some new traders that think they can survive with the market's behavior are just giving up when they're not able to make it.

As they say, those who wins are not giving up and the losers are giving up.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: May 20, 2024, 08:56:14 PM
If you have time to earn the money to gamble then you are ok, if you are already out of time then gambling will only make that money situation worse.  Dont spend time using up the money and time you already dont have, I have to agree with that sentiment.
And the problem that I have seen with some gamblers, they do it with their corporate time. Yes, the time that should be allotted for their tasks in their offices and jobs, they're allotting it to gamble.

We've seen threads with that and that's a serious offense to the company but I hope that those type of gamblers will be reminded and have some pat in their back to do what's right.

Otherwise, it will be developed and they will think that it's a normal thing to do it as their free time but even with that, they shouldn't do it.
55  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pains and joy all together looking for way to balance it. on: May 20, 2024, 08:25:18 PM
This topic remind me of so many things that has happened in the past how can we do it  if someone is in a situation of pain and joy ,all we need is results, but in actually sence pain 😩 is pain and joy is joy but they came together how can one balance the situations.
With life experiences, there is joy for every ending of the pain. I'm not sure what kind of pain you're going through.

But remember that it's not always pain that you'll feel. Take time to realize of what you have and be grateful for them, there's joy in it trust me.
Sure but the other side which is pain 😩 is eating me up gradually, and I never feel or think of to give up on them at all , balancing it is just what am actually searching for .
It might be easier said than done but I would tell you to focus on the brighter side. Things might seem hard and all but it would help if you did not focus on everything that is wrong. If you were to do that, you are going to become more miserable and depressed.

Go out go for a walk and find things to be grateful for.
I agree about going out for a walk or take sometime to jog.

The sweat that will be released will be beneficial for you OP as you releases also the toxins in your body that are making you feel that pain.

It's a relieving feeling, believe me I've been there and felt that joy when I went out to walk and got my body sweaty.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What type of a trader/investor is this? on: May 20, 2024, 07:55:03 PM
A common greedy investor.

I won't just conclude that it's greed. He may be inexperienced too. Or he just had a higher profit in mind.
For me I'll go with inexperienced, because an experience trader would know to take profit when he had the chance. He messed up, but that happens to a lot of people.
It gets into that as well if he's inexperienced, he cannot control his emotion and greediness and that's why it can still end up with a greedy mindset.

But we agree that he messed up really bad.

Using the whole 3k he had in the first place was a move that could make or break him and he got lucky with that, then he made another call when it got to $80k. He made a make or break decision. If the 80k has turned into $200k we would be having a different conversation right now.
Like the saying goes "the difference between a mad man and a genius is in the result".
And he probably didn't became satisfied with that so he still proceeded and didn't secure profits.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 20, 2024, 07:22:47 PM
Have you ever increased the amount you normally used in betting just because someone you know won big by betting with a greater amount?
Nope.

I am not reliant to someone's winning story to increase my betting habits. If I want to adjust, I'll do it with my will and not because I've seen someone won big.

It is inspiring to see other gamblers win and I am happy for them but it won't affect my gambling habit because I want to remain in control and to know what I do.
58  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you love your country? on: May 20, 2024, 11:14:54 AM
It's just sad that there are incompetent people in the position that they shouldn't be.

Well, this is what's ugly from a democratic type of government. Anyone can sit in power or if someone has already sitted in power then the relatives or friends or known close to it will be the next one.

But about this form of government, there's still some good things about it and people are free to choose whoever wants to govern them.
that is the main problem in many countries that has so much to offer when their government is corrupt ? all their beauties will be nothing to show as the visitors/tourist will be afraid in visiting because of the abuse they might face, actually even in locals these abused happens as I have encountered a lot being a travelers , we often experience abuse of power just because we need to comply by their rules.
That's why the citizens has to vote the right politicians for them to be taken cared of. We can't do anything with that if the others are still blindly voting.

While some has a block voting sequence for their elections but just contribute and vote whom you think are the right people to retain the beauty of your country.

Or at least bring back its glory.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never borrow money to be able to gamble on: May 19, 2024, 11:46:12 PM
I want to quote the entire thing OP has said but it's too long. Because these will give more visibility to those that aren't reminded that might drop on this thread, so they will get more reminder as they read this.

We'll get to see this kind of thread every now and then because no matter how hard everyone gives a reminder to the other gamblers, they won't obliged to do it.

They will only realize these reminders are good when they're already addicted and in deep debt. They will keep on doing the same mistake, trust me.

Hehe what time did the Pacers vs Knicks game 7 started? I took a rest and forgot to bet on that game. I'm just looking at the stats now and I'm impressed how the Pacers were so efficient. Shooting at 67% and doing that in game 7? They are going to be trouble. Another thing that I found impressive was the point distribution.
Like 2 hours ago I guess, I have missed it as well because it was a tiring day.

They just made the game 7 look easy. But are they going to survive with the Boston Celtics? That will be a different thing.

The Thunder are a young team, they can go further in the coming years. For the Mavs, it was important to make it this season.
Yep, they're still a young team and in the next season. I am expecting to see them still in the playoffs but I think some other teams will be forming with a better roster and I am talking about Spurs but later with that, let's get to the final game this day the Wolves and Nuggets.
