461  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dragon Ball Creator Akira Toriyama dies at the age of 68 on: March 09, 2024, 06:41:05 AM
So this ends everything completely now? that this is  what we mean DragonBall will never have another part to extend the Anime that brings our younger days back? each time I come across Dragonball episodes? I kept thinking there will be another one to be created soon .
sounds stupid but that is how frustrating I am to see Goku and Gohan together with the gang having new episode.
It's possible that some editors will take over Akira's artwork but just a continuation of the story or another series, we don't know. But as long as it's being loved by the fans, I guess that there will be some other mangaka that's close or related to Akira that will continue his work.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AKIRA TORIYAMA , you will always be part of our early days and will forever be part of our life.

Drama huh? but that's how I love this anime .
Kamehameha!!

We all did that, thanks Akira.

I am a ghostfighter fan but I also watched dragonball wayback so the death of the best anime creator will also sadden me .

RIP to the Family for sure the whole anime community is mourning with His death . one of the most popular Anime in the history.
Not just the whole anime community but also the manga community which is special in Japan.
462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the point of registering on a CEX if you don't trade? on: March 09, 2024, 12:13:42 AM
Hello,

Now that there are quite a few solutions for buying or staking cryptos, I was wondering what's the point of going through a CEX when you're not trading. I'm sure there are things I don't know, but I'd love to know all the things that are, perhaps, super interesting.
They just like to park their money there and that's it. Aside from not trading, they want to enjoy the perks of being eligible for some airdrops through staking it or having it with those type of earning features.

But if you're not going to trade to any exchange, don't park your cryptos there. Always remember what we tend to say about keeping your keys and coins. You don't have it once you keep your funds on these cexes.

463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to adopt the BTC program for your company? on: March 08, 2024, 11:25:12 PM
I would like to know your opinion on the wave of BTC adoption by companies:
  • Do you think BTC programs will be useful for companies in their efforts to reach users?
  • Are you willing to receive rewards in BTC when using future services?
  • If you have your own company, are you willing to accept BTC or launch BTC programs?
1. I think I have seen some companies that have offered their employees to receive salaries in bitcoin or in the traditional way. It's helpful for the bitcoiner employees so they don't have to spend such fees in transfers from fiat to bitcoin.

2. Yes.

3. Definitely, 100%. I am an enthusiasts and to support that I have to accept payments in BTC for my services and products.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: More or Less sports betting on: March 08, 2024, 10:54:42 PM
I think that I am familiar with this kind of mechanics. This is popular in esports mainly for Dota 2, the logic is the same and you just have to choose two things.

If you have been tired with the typical way of betting I guess this one's for you and if you just want to try something new, why not try it with an amount that you can afford to lose, right?
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck? on: March 08, 2024, 10:27:30 PM
I want to know your opinion on the success of BTC holders:
  • Is the profit of BTC holders just from luck?
  • Are you a BTC holder? What makes you keep believing and holding BTC?
  • When will you hold BTC until?
1. I've asked my brother about this, he's not into the market nor an investor and asked him if I was just lucky that I've bought early. He said, an investor takes time to research to the new things and takes risk earlier than the rest so if we rake in profits, we did our thing and it's not just all about luck.

2. Cycles, performances, stability.

3. Until I can.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: March 08, 2024, 09:54:42 PM
Countless arguments tell that everyone should gamble for fun and that's what everyone has to remember. That's true that we should gamble for fun because that's not going to hurt our pockets once we lose.

That's the consolation that you'll get from there if you gamble for fun because that's something that you can hide your main reason for gambling for profit.

And if you lose, you just justify yourself that you're not chasing the profits but you are only entertaining yourself.  Grin

So avoid all the influencers and any link that is suspicious. Only visit legit domain and not a referral links.

Scammers use to send spam emails and if you don't know them, and click the link then your system would be infected with virus and your coins will be stolen. So avoid all those things.
Many are into the emails spam and making you think that you've got some giveaway that you haven't claimed yet.

They disguise like that and if you're a gullible guy, you'd fall for that and that's why many are being phished through email because these forms of emails are encouraging them to click a link for such claims.

Or some scary email like your wallet have been hacked and you just realize that you didn't used any email upon creation of a wallet.

469  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need advice regarding safe internet surfing. on: March 08, 2024, 08:20:06 PM
Proton is a good one.

But you know what's the best protection and antivirus? it is yourself. Your way of how you browse in the internet is going to be your security and how you'd deal with it.

As long as you don't download things that aren't familiar to you then I guess that you should be fine with that. You have nothing to worry if you know the applications and files that you download.
470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any methods to do it? on: March 07, 2024, 11:56:19 PM
That's possible.

Many treats day trading as their day job but the amount of capital they roll over is also enormous. Not just that, they have tested a lot of times, failed trades many times until they reach their peak that they can read the market and get decent profits with that target.

Since you've been in the market for so long, slash an amount from your holdings that you afford to lose and do that as your testing phase. It doesn't matter how long you're going to do it as long as you get familiarized and build your strategy from that period.
471  Other / Off-topic / Re: People who are honest and open about their knowledge are valued in the soceity. on: March 07, 2024, 11:24:13 PM
While all of us have their own knowledge that we can share. But here is when you don't have something to share, you just watch and observe.

Everything is free to read and that's what a newbie must do. I'm starting myself to get educated first before diving into topics that I may be familiar.

But if it's in life generalization, I am starting to share what I know first with my family. Whoever gets interested and I've seen that they want to learn more, that's where I am focusing with teaching and sharing my knowledge.
472  Other / Off-topic / Re: Failure is a step to success on: March 07, 2024, 10:57:19 PM
I like your perspective towards failure.

It's because in these times of darkness and hardship, many look at failures as permanent matter and they'll never recover from that. But for someone who keeps on fighting for his dreams and survival, these failures are just part of our journey and they're necessary to have so that we can taste the victory sweeter than ever.

I think there are those who lived this experience. How did you overcome failure ? and what is your advice to motivate those who are frustrated by failure?
I just looked at it as part of the road and path to success, you just need to go through by it and everyone who's successful now got through with several and terrible failures.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: March 07, 2024, 10:15:53 PM
It's really simple to say that we should take profit but you know what's stopping the most from doing so? Greed.

Because they think that when we're already on some high with our portfolios, we think that it's going to be more and our greed thinks that we should hold some more because it is not yet the peak and there's gotta be more.

That reminder will be realized by those that have missed taking profits on the last bull run. This time, they're going to promise to themselves that they should not miss this opportunity of taking some.
Totally agree on this one and you would really be having these kind of words into your mind into that particular situation or condition;

#What if the price would be reaching out or breaking its all time high?
#What if it would be that an easy x2 or more from here?
#Green God candle?
#Being pumped by Whales?

For sure you would really be having these kind of thoughts on which it would really be that ending up for you to hold up your position
and you wont really be selling even if you do already have that huge profits already. This is one of the issues that people do face on on which
they are really that becoming too greedy until they would be missing out those profit opportunity and ended up on regretting in the end.
DCA in taking profits too, so that you won't be missing every window of pump. Decide on how much you're going to sell on this bull run and see if they're going to be reached.

But if not, DCA in profits too like for every price increase, you'd sell a portion of your holdings.

Just don't miss any window of moment when you're about to take profit because it's normal that we take profits on this season.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Even as a sport fan be careful! on: March 07, 2024, 09:47:52 PM
This is not related to gambling but to the sports so I think this topic should be on the Off Topic section.

As a fan of the sports that we love, we need to check ourselves at all times when we attend these games. Because it's not always about you although we're free to express our support to our beloved team.

But when someone's get annoyed on how you deliver your support, you should see something that's coming to you as not everyone's head is calm.

476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ? on: March 07, 2024, 01:58:16 PM
AI has impacted almost all online businesses to major extent. Do you feel that there will be major impact of AI technology on online gambling industry as well ?
None.

I think if there is then it will most likely with the customer support of the casinos. They're going to automate it which is happening for many of them right now.

I guess that's the best usage that they can do with AI so that they'll save time and money for having a human resource which can be catered with AI for the basic inquiries.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to store your seed phrase? on: March 07, 2024, 12:51:20 PM
What if the bank catches fire or your document gets missing? Maybe you can sue them but to store your phrase, you should try avoiding it relying on other people. You can turn it into a cypher and save it offline but not in a complex place so even if someone found it, they wouldn’t be able to make sense out of it. It could even be an article and you used the words in there but only you know how to decipher the words.
I'd never trust them my seed phrase. It's a crazy idea that you'd allow them to keep your seed phrase which you should be the one responsible for keeping it.

There are a lot of complex ideas that are in here suggested by many members. Might just try them than relying on the bank or any third party service for keeping important documents such as your seed phrase which is your life saving.
478  Other / Off-topic / Re: best virtual card for audible? on: March 07, 2024, 11:29:15 AM
People can suggest the best virtual card for annual subscriptions and other use that are good for them. But this varies per location and also with the provider that they use and that's why it might not be useful to you.

If you can add some details on your location and what typically you are subscribing for, maybe that can help. And if this relates to crypto, a lot of exchanges have their own virtual cards too.
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: March 06, 2024, 11:47:57 PM
A person who does not know about trading and has no knowledge about it is unlikely to profit from it. Trading is not really gambling you can indulge in it depending on your luck only. Trading is very complex and if you want to do it you must know a lot about it and along with that you need to be in touch with experienced people And if you want to trade then I would say you shouldn't do it in the beginning. You can invest if you want to supplement it. Then simultaneously try to learn about trading gradually. It is not the case that you will get huge profits just by trading, so be interested to know it well first. Don't start trading just on the impulse of others.
Honestly, trading is not complex when you know what you are doing. But if you are like a soldier that doesn't have arms and going to a war then that makes it complex and odd.

It doesn't have to be expensive to learn to trade and that is the reason why many newbies get it wrong when they trade because they thought that it is an easy thing to do.

So, they go to the route of learning it expensively by having several experiences of mistakes before they learn. Trading can be done by newbies and not but you have to take note every mistake you might have done.
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Or Investing which one is better to focus on right now? on: March 06, 2024, 10:55:05 PM
Holding, most of the time.

Especially when the surge is almost everywhere, you just have to pick what you have to pick on this market and you need to sit and tighten your belt before the market leaves you.

I don't want to take chances in trading, if I want to add some of my balances because I have to take time checking it from time to time. I'll just use my money and simply gonna buy that in addition to my portfolio.
Actually one can do both trading and hodling as long as he’s good enough to succeed from his trades. If there are bigger probability to be in profits, then why not? But don’t forget to continue DCA as well as you are not just preparing your portfolio with this upcoming bull run but definitely in the next year bull run as well. So trade if you know there are reasons to trade, but never stop from accumulating more bitcoin because that’s the surest and safest way to gain decent profits in the market. If your trades do not work as planned, at least you still have good amount of hodlings that will give sufficient amount of profits when you decide to sell them at a higher position.
Yes, one can do both.

As you hold, you can also trade at the same time if you have a lot of time and budget to beign with. Continuous DCA as you trade should be a separate account for you.

When you hold and invests for long term, you just keep that account and balances there while you do some trades. And if you profit from your trades not with these holds and investments, you're free to allocate wherever you want with that money.

But mostly, you just want to add it up to your holdings and that's what passive money means.
