41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 29, 2020, 04:40:57 AM
Multi bets and single bets has their own different advantages and disadvantages so we cannot say that one is better than another. Multi bets is better if all of betting team has a small chance of winning but if one team has a big chance of winning then it is better if we choose to focus all you money to get on that team. You have to decide wisely and you should have a lot knowledge about that sports so that you know what team has a advantage and disadvantages.
I agree both have their own fair share of advantage and disadvantage but you can easily tell which one is better. And as what bitbollo mentioned above sportsbook make a lot of money from these multi that's why they keep pushing these promotions and encourage different types of multi bets such as same game multis. Taking underdogs in multi is okay but it shouldn't be all of them as those scenarios rarely happen.

Precisely, I agree with your statement regarding about this matter of choices. Multi bets vs. Single bet are both profitable in my opinion depending on a person, but single bets is the most profitable when it comes to long term betting that has an average odds ranging from 1.75 to 2.25 according to the article I've read. Multi bets to make it short is a way of playing safe, compare to single bets because you're gonna win in one of your bets every game unlike in single bet.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price pump influence bitcoin price Negatively ? on: November 28, 2020, 04:00:25 PM
They have their own season. When Altcoins pumps, bitcoin will wait until its time for Bitcoin to pump as well, that's what I noticed since I started exploring the world of cryptocurrency. The price fluctuations of both Altcoins and Bitcoins depends also whether there was a huge dump that happened that's always done by whales. Overall, altcoin pumping will never be the reason why Bitcoin is dumping since they use different number of codes.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Eat the World on: November 28, 2020, 02:57:56 PM
When this happens, the ones that's going to be benefited by this are those countries that have cheap electricity rates like those in the middle east. By their natural gas production just like in Qatar and a net exported of energy, they have the most cheap electricity rate in the world which is an ideal place to put a mining company in order to adopt the continuous Bitcoin revolution that will eventually surprise the whole world.

We may not know when this will happen but seeing it in the future happening is not imposible anymore.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: November 26, 2020, 03:51:19 AM
The Government could never kill Bitcoin because of its decentralized form. However, Government could stop it, but how? Government could easily make fuzz about it, spreading bad news about it, making banks prevent their customers to buy Bitcoin using their bank accounts, and anything that could make people stop using Bitcoin. But still, Bitcoin would still exist, it would just stop being use on a certain country that hates Bitcoin that much.

The funny thing is that no matter how they hate Bitcoin, it's innovative function will make them change their minds and starts to adopt it as well like the countries did in the amidst pandemic. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Am Emotional after seeing this Rally on: November 25, 2020, 03:05:04 PM
Same here, but not because of Bitcoin. I'm having so many regrets right now because I didn't sell the shitcoins I have way back 2017, being me a newbie in the Trading world and token that year, I thought that it was going to rise again once the market gets bully again but what happened is the opposite of what I'm expecting. Some of my coins got delisted, devalued, and the rest have price but not like its price way back 2017.

The lesson for me is that don't hold coins that you don't know, I meant is its capability to run in the long period of time, if its developer is active or not, etc.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 25, 2020, 01:32:33 PM
We have two seasons in Bitcoin, the Bearish season and the Bullish season. There's nothing confusing about it, if you did your research before you invest your money in Bitcoin.

The volatility if Bitcoin is enough reason why we should expect it to go down and to go up in a fast way or slow way. But like what others mentioned already in the first page, the downfall of the economy caused Bitcoin to surge its price because of countries investing to it and that's what we called "Adoption" which helps Bitcoin's price to travel to the moon again.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 25, 2020, 12:08:11 PM
Play the game for fun and enjoy in case if you happen to win. This way gamblers would not be too much stressed and not will run behind the gambling just to keep on earning rom it. As, that is the root cause of the issues which may occur in future. Just play to have a good time.

If people can do that, I am sure they will not get stress, but as we know, many gamblers get stress, especially if they are losing a lot of money in gambling games. It is not easy to control the stress, and when we feel that we get stress, we must stop as soon as possible before we ruin everything and lose our money. Yes, it is better to play the game and have fun inside the game.

The way people react to something is always unpredictable, for example is in gambling. If you won, you only have to options, either you stop or play again, if you stop then the chances of losing your profit is zero, while if you continue to play, the chances of losing your profit is almost 98% depends on the house edge and the odds you're going to put.

Now, the other things that we should consider is the emotional output that winning and losing gives to us whenever we experience those. Mostly feels mad when they lose and charge blindly in betting while others remains calm and maintain their focus on how to get their losses back.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin retirement account on: November 24, 2020, 12:51:05 PM
What do you people think about bitcoin retirement accounts? I think it is cool and can also increase bitcoin adoption.

Bitcoin price is volatile. Elderly hearths may not handle that too well.
So although on paper it sounds nice (adoption, handling taxes and conversions), it's not OK as solely Bitcoin based fund.

Also, Bitcoiners can make a 100% Bitcoin "fund" themselves ("be your own bank" & "not your keys, not your coins").

So I think that for this job a super diversified fund with also Bitcoin in it is a better option. Much smaller growth, but always growing. Sorry.

Indeed. Retiring means you're just enjoying the life by relaxing and taking care of yourself, but with Bitcoin as a retirement investment, I think instead of enjoying their retirement, it would be another stressful part of their lives whenever they are looking at their ledger or online wallets seeing the price of Bitcoin going down and going up.

And it might be the reason why instead of having profits, they would lost their profits because they withdraw all of their Bitcoins into fiat due to a panic attack.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An example why we should hold bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 11:50:23 AM
Everyone wants to hold their bitcoin, but we don't have the same status in the society. For example is me, I don't have that plenty of money unlike the person you've mention OP, so whenever I do have a Bitcoin, I always convert it in fiat for me to have something I could spend buying my daily needs and paying bills.

But if I'm rich like the person you've mentioned, OP, I would definitely do the same just like what he did and would celebrate now because Bitcoin is doing great and is now planning to make another All Time High.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 23, 2020, 03:31:23 PM

The industry according to them apparently is able to get 2.4 billion dollars worth of revenue and which is inclined to help the country , 95% of the tax is going to go to the province.

What are your thoughts on this ??

I hope what I quoted is true, that they will give it to the province which I presume that really needs the help of Argentina Government to be develop, because you know, some politicians likes to put it on their pockets and claim it's theirs.

About on the gambling tax, well it's really needed and they need to be regulated like what most of the countries do. Their huge bankroll is a great help to the progress of the economy, that's why Government don't shut down the casinos that's well known by wealthy people.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 23, 2020, 10:01:57 AM
wouldn't gambling sites be interested in having steady customers? And some loss-preventing programs might help them to keep old customers in the game because they won't be broke after just a short period of playing. Plus this can be an influencing factor, that'll make gamblers advise a certain website to friends.

Gamblers changes their mind often while gambling, a gambling site can have that place in their dashboard, but it's not a guaranty that they will be saved from that protection, they can always opt to play in other gambling sites if they feel they made a wrong decision of turning the protection feature, they just gave their users a reason to go to other gambling sites because of that protection, I don't see this an advantage to a gambling site.

I agree with you. This "player's protection" too good to be true feature is just a way for a gambling site to give their players a reason to not play on their platform anymore. I don't see any merits for a gambling site to make this dream in reality, hence, it will just ruin their reputation and will contradict the true nature of gambling, in which addiction is unavoidable.

The addiction will always be responsibility of the player alone. Gambling sites doesn't shoulder that responsibility since we all know what's the risk when playing gambling. It's all about taking precautions first before proceeding on to something delicate.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 22, 2020, 11:04:45 AM
I've quit gambling for good since I almost sell our properties just to spend in gambling (chasing my losses), luckily I've been awaken to my addiction by my friend, so I started to slowly change myself and hobby. To answer your question, all the money I've won in gambling has been personally spend by me. I didn't want to buy it foods and other goods then feed it to my family, I think that's really unnecessary and so bad in so many ways.

At least I wanted to feed my family using money that came from good ways. I was addicted in DICE and poker way back then, but I'm all good now and have my own business.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 18, 2020, 01:48:48 AM
It is what it is but we cannot remove the fact that there are lucky gamblers. They gamble as if they want to win and luckily winning the jackpots.
In that case, they have recovered and won money too.

If they win it then lucky, they are else those who have lost in recovery will think back later why did they gambled again. Its worse for those who had borrowed money in a thought will win and lost it again will now may not have money to pay back too. So its luck which may help you to win or lose in the end for some games.
Those gamblers who borrows money are desperate but it's not a good move. Lose your money but don't lose others money even if you have borrowed it.
Several times I've read gamblers who have done that and lost a lot instead of recovery.

That can't be helped because that's their last resort, or it's what you called out of nowhere decision fed up by your excitement or greediness to take back what you have lost. A lot of these happened to all of the gamblers, most of them succeeded in their plan but most of them failed. After a lost in gambling doesn't really need a quick response to take revenge, in fact, you need to take a break to cool your engine.

A mad mind won't ever let you win in gambling, because you'll lost your mind in the process having too much thoughts about what you've lost in gambling, whether if you can take it back or not.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 14, 2020, 03:40:43 AM
This will be rely on someone's personality, whether they are introvert or extrovert one. Introvert people always wanted to be alone and interacting with other people consumes their energy too much therefore they avoid too much talking, chatting, and so on while extrovert people are the complete opposite of it.

For me, I'm both so it's okay for me to play single player or multiplayer but it's more fun to play if you're with your friends in gambling online so the losses will be turn into laughter. Also, playing in multiplayer also can make you feel like you're outside interacting with other people.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 11, 2020, 12:47:20 PM
Yes, there is a very safe bet. Don't bet anything so you can't lose. 100% successful. That is the best bet.

This might offend someone but practically it's true indeed. Betting means you don't know anything but randomly put your money on a team, however, 80% of winning could be always assure you if you know how to analyze data of the teams you're going to bet your money and on their opponents team. On my part, it's all about making efforts to have a solid strategy to not waste your money.

Because it's more fun if you're learning while you're risking your money. The more knowledgeable you'll become in the field of sports betting, the more confident you'll gain about winning, and that's more safer than anything.

Macau continues to suffer the effects of the ongoing pandemic, despite some of the slight recoveries taking place in the industry.

This explains everything. Casinos can't afford to have so many employees yet few gamblers, that means they'll only have smaller bankrolls than they have before and the same payouts before, in short, they're going to suffer if they won't remove some of their employees. However, the unpaid part is not convincing at all, because even though they are suffering due to the ongoing pandemic, they have still funds to pay their employees that they forced to leave.

It's not surprising at all, it's happening all over the world. Most of the old employees are the ones who remains in the company because they do have more merits than the new ones.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 10, 2020, 05:42:44 AM
Some of the Gambling casinos I've seen are requiring its user to conduct a KYC (not mandatory but they said there's a chance or something) however my concern is that the gambling casino is not licensed are you going to trust this or not? Imagine winning a big jackpot and they asked for you to conduct KYC but they are not licensed.

This is kind a skeptical since they don't have any licensed to have the audacity to require KYC for the players of their site. I'm not a gambler but my opinion about KYC whether they are licenced or not will be always negative. I don't trust other people that I don't know personally, especially in the cryptocurrency world to handle my personal information "security" for me to play in their gambling platform.

It would be more ideal to find other casinos that's more trusted that requires KYC or not rather than to gamble on gambling sites that you have mentioned. Imagine having hart times making profits and in the end you'll never have the chance to withdraw your profits because they're just scams.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 28, 2020, 01:43:44 PM

You could spend 100 bucks and make it to 20k once, and after that you could lose tens of thousands of dollars, even hundreds of thousands of dollars since that moment and you still wouldn't be stopping if nobody helps you.

It's not someone else business to stop you in playing gambling, it's your responsibility alone that you should know in the very beginning the moment you played gambling. Relying that to someone just simplified that you're not strong enough to make a stop if you've hit your limit on gambling, or the worst thing is that you don't even know what's your limit in gambling, that's pretty screwed up.

The most easiest way for me to be able to survive gambling is quit when you won (no matter how small or big it is) means you should know that as long as you have a profit, it's better than not having one. The other one is to stop betting if you know you're losing too much money in a row (you can never beat the house).
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 23, 2020, 08:25:23 AM
This is such a great feature (help) for all of the gamblers because withdrawal fee is sometimes a headache for all of us, especially in Ethereum that happened few months ago even though it's not related on gambling.

But this is not surprising at all because all of the gambling sites that has been mentioned by OP were all famous, big, and reputable for providing such good services in the world of gambling when it comes to cryptocurrency and giving aid such like free withdrawal fees is just a small simple gratitude from them to their clients for always appreciating their services.

If a person wanna gamble with their entire years salary, the government shouldn't have any say or order on it. They can advise although.

That's my money, my rule, this is the rule we like.

Hope our government will not follow the same law as gambling addiction is also high in our country.

Gambling addiction, as any other addiction, is a bad thing, and it can't be ignored, even if only from 5% to 10% of all gamblers in most countries can be called problem gamblers. But the regulations should not be harmful for 90%-95% of gamblers who gamble to relax from their hard work, and can work more effectively after that. The importance of relaxation is underestimated big time in economic terms. Deprive people of relaxation, and economy will collapse.

There is no point in creating external restraints in order to contain human gambling addiction. People must change themselves, otherwise they will always find ways to get around the restrictions.
In addition, such restrictions relieve people of responsibility for their actions, they begin to think that the reasons for their addictions are outside of them, while this is not so.

The thing is, people who are addicted in gambling will not heal themselves from addiction because of their pride and losses, therefore the Government and the gambling site or casinos help each other to cure their citizens who are addicted to gambling. But of course it will never be enough, what you've said was right. People need to change first or help themselves in order to attain peace and forget gambling addictions that became their nightmares which hunts them at night.

The cure to addiction is the dedication of a person to submit himself in the therapy or whatever way of healing he wants to. Otherwise, it is just nonsense.
