Summoning the XRP Army to cast out the unbelievers in this Bitcointalk thread. Let their fanatical obsession shed light into the narrow mindedness of the comments here in this thread.  Grin

42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will There Really Be An Altcoin Season or Just a plot to Keep us in the Loop on: December 03, 2019, 04:53:45 AM
In 2015, the crypto markets were so down that even die hard crypto fans and Bitcoin maximalists sold their coins at the very bottom when BTC went sub $200. It was really funny that these guys were so vehemently toxic in their crypto religiosity. Same thing is happening now but back then, the danger was it was all a fad. Now, you will be stupid to bet against innovation.

I remember being at work with a buddy of mine and saying "Bitcoin is below $220, we really need to try to get in and get as much as we can". Just a couple weeks later, it was already back up above $1,000. Lesson here was, buy as much as you can while it's at it's lowest you have seen it in a while. Things will sure change. We both wish we could have gotten in with as much as we could afford at the time.

Well in all honesty, I was already planning to buy my largest purchase of Bitcoin back in January of that year when BTC crashed months before from Draper's $600 to $300 and then mid $200. But I wasn't foolhardy, I only bought with funds I can afford to lose. The fear of crypto being just a fad after all is very real.

Fast forward today, I have a small tinge of regret of not going all in and could have retire today. But that's just gambling, I could have been wrong and BTC dead today means I lost everything too..

You could see that the bounty campaigns are dying because these stupid and newer campaigns that will hoodwink hunters when their ICO fails. No one wants to work with projects that will cheat them out of their work - Hence, the lack of participants.

Good job, Quadrant. The token has an ROI of 21.58% and 24 Hour Volume of 426,858 USD. Now please engage some interested investors about your future plans. I see EQUAD rising when the altcoin market returns from the dead.

Nowhere in your links did Tim Draper say to buy Ripple or said some positive or bullish statements about XRP. This is fake news. I hope readers would be more discerning. You can't fomo here, this section of Bitcointalk is hardly visited by altcoiners.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: November 29, 2019, 12:54:19 PM
I don't know if any decent bounties will come again. I don't think ICOs will ever come back. Governments are scrutinizing past ICOs now. The Telegram ICO is under investigation. It is one of the largest ICOs ever.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculattion on: November 28, 2019, 11:27:15 PM

Not all success is good. If the team who is not treating its promoters with integrity and decency will become successful, it will not be a good precedence. And it might be done again by the same team.

The investors will not have to worry about monthly dumping that is expected to be done by bounty hunters because the bounty hunters are not even paid. Who will get paid if the condition for the bounty hunters to be able to receive their payment is to give the Atlant team 1 ETH first? That is extremely ridiculous for any project to ask payment for the bounty hunters when in fact it is the bounty hunters themselves who should be the ones receiving the payment.

But sadly, the reality is it is always that innovators make money, even scammers and hackers make money but pigs gets slaughtered. Injustice is irrelevant in crypto space. Haven't you seen the  many people here and in crypto Twitter who made profit over the backs of many?
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: November 28, 2019, 11:19:52 PM
A lot of advice saying to just wait it out. But in the real world, emotions always run high and depression is real. People always do irrational actions because they are emotional. So, for the holders, you just have to suck it up if you're down 90%. But for the bargain hunters, you just have to wait for the obvious reversal first.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: November 27, 2019, 05:26:20 PM
ETH is unlikely to overtake BTC so it is not going to rise in isolation. The entire crypto market is in a correction and will move together when the correction is over.

The last time people said ETH was overtaking BTC, the price at the closest it ever came was not even 10% of Bitcoin. And then it could not sustain. Today, it is not even at at 3% of BTC price and it still tries very hard.

As you said, the whole market will move together,,, but always always led by BTC.

Very true however history have seen former number ones being relegated to obscurity and obsolesce. Take for example Netscape, Blockbuster, Kodak, AOL, Yahoo, MySpace. Innovation is your killer.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: November 26, 2019, 09:46:10 PM
I can't predict anything at the moment. but if it is true that eth will reach 1000 USD, of course this is the thing that we really expect of course.

Actually, a 1000 US dollar Ethereum really depends on the whole crypto market sentiment and not just its individual activities and accomplishments. It won't happen unless the interests of many people come back to invest on cryptocurrencies.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH return to 1000 USD after hardfork? on: November 25, 2019, 10:56:10 PM
I think that the ETH 2.0 update will have a very positive impact on the ETH and in the future it will start to recover and in time will be able to reach $1000 again.
I dont think updates or coin halving will have any impact on price of coins in such bear market. We have seen that alt coins go up only when BTC go up, when BTC is in red whole market goes red.
It is incredible to see that as time passes altcoins are not becoming more independent from the movements of bitcoin, instead what we are seeing is that altcoins are unable to move on their own and rely on bitcoin for their growth and as long as that is the case we are never going to see altcoins going up faster than bitcoin, ethereum is one of the best coins in the market and yet I do not see how it is going to go up to the point that it is going to reach 1000 dollars for each coin even with all the upgrades that the developers are making to the code of ethereum.

Do you know why all coins are dependent on Bitcoin? It is because of how humans want to associate or group together things. Bitcoin is the de facto index of all things crypto. Just like the USD dollar is the index of all things fiat because it is the reserve currency of the world. The dollar's health affect every fiat in the world.

What about Bitcoin? It is the most liquid market and still the first recall when you think about cryptocurrencies. Until the time another coin will take lead, BTC will continue to affect the rest.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 24, 2019, 08:06:57 PM
I was expected a bull run at the end of this year as I saw some prediction that bull run will start from the November month, but it seems the opposite market just comes and all the coins price highly dumped. Though some people are still saying that this is a correction before the bull run but I don't think the Bull run will come very soon, it will take another year.

The way you said "another year" when in fact it is less than 40 days away for a new year. I'm thinking these are the last attempts of short sellers to squeeze out the remaining holders to capitulate. In fact, the rise to $13,500 is a classic case of the sucker's rally. Which in the end goes to a stable ranging period and then trend reversal.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: November 23, 2019, 09:24:12 PM
I have stopped wasting my time by reading analysts' opinions a long time now.
Some of them are good at one financial asset but clueless on others, yet they comment on what they do not know.
Some others are just getting paid to say bullshit.

I only read the facts these days and draw my own conclusions.

Me too. There is a load of absolute shit coming from these supposed experts, always has been. There is always a lot of noise in crypto, and people who want to get themselves heard tend to make outrageous claims. Whether they actually believe the stuff they're coming out with is a different question.

But sadly most who place them as a reknown crypto influencer believe in their bullshit. I think only the OG knows the real score with these so-called experts. It's a free world after all - free to shill yourselves.

Ripple Co-founder Chris Larsen responds to scathing report

https://eng.ambcrypto.com/ripple-co-founder-chris-larsen-responds-to-scathing-report/

LMAO. The words of Ryan Selkis "In other words, for all that centralization, corporate treasury shenanigans, and silver-tongued bullshit, you’re still getting a network that is pound for pound “shadier” than bitcoin, despite what Ripple execs might have regulators believe."

He does admit Bitcoin is shady though. This is the link to the scathing report. https://messari.io/article/ripple-s-tax-shelter-xrp-schemes
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculattion on: November 22, 2019, 08:19:23 PM
I'm not active in the telegram channel but I see some updates their, the team still showed big interest on the project but what people are seeing is the current price and status in the market, hopefully all those effort will be translated to the price.

i think it will be good if they re-open their thread on bitcointalk so he can update all the progress he made until now and right now i have a few questions regarding this project but i don't have any telegram account to chat there

You can easily join here, unless you were banned earlier. https://t.me/atlant_eng

[but this is just my idea, the final decision is based on the team if they will decide to make a new one.
maybe we can bring this suggestion to the telegram channel. what do you think?

I don't think they really wanted to maintain an official thread. Because they said they want to focus on delivering the product. Investors are not a priority.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculattion on: November 21, 2019, 07:46:04 PM
In fact in Atlant's telegram chat group, the admin there has been showing newer mockups of the Atlant platform. It shows the rental interface of the platform. I know it doesn't mean anything because people can fake anything, but still.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculattion on: November 21, 2019, 12:39:55 PM

Yes, more projects that has reached its peak price during the beginning days of 2018 have now gone worse and the value is nothing compared to the ath achieved. Few of the altcoins that I kept hold also experienced such a drastic fall. One of the token I kept hold reached the peak of $0.08 is now less than $0.0002

Precisely.... Name me five altcoins that beat the general bear trend in the whole of crypto. People cannot blame the actions of the Atlant dev team for the bear trend or the lack of trading. If most coins had healthy trading volume and a general uptrend with ATL as an exception then I will believe all the hearsays.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculattion on: November 20, 2019, 07:21:46 PM
After languishing at the bottom around 1.5 cents to 2 cents for more than one year, there seems to be quiet accumulation going on with minute buys, avoiding sudden increases in trading volume. However, it can't be help but the price pushed beyond 6 cents these last two weeks.

Since Nov 2, there had been buying and increased volume.

I've been trying to monitor "real world" projects like these, but constantly miss some news as there's so much happening on this space, but i am only interested on the large time frame profits so i am not even looking for the price right now, just the adoption. Because when one of these projects gets adopted it will be in a bigger scale then we think and the price right now is irrelevant. At the moment Atlant seems one of the top choices but i wouldn't bet all my money on it because the competition is and will be fierce.

Yep, the competition is fierce. Why? Because real estate is the one of the best industries for an upgrade to blockchain tech. (Finance will always be number one). In fact they say, real estate is a trillion dollar industry alone.

Per discussions, the Cyprus delegation welcomed established businesses as well as startups and elaborated on the fact that Cyprus is a cosmopolitan, transparent business centre offering numerous opportunities including those in the capital markets sector.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM is only potentially $ 250 in November. on: November 20, 2019, 07:16:48 PM
With only 10 days left until end of November, I don't think we'll see $250.
The market has been trying to fall for a while now, continually testing those support levels. I can't see any upwards pressure at all.
I do still firmly believe in ETH for the long-term, but for now I would settle for it just holding current price around $180. We need to weather the storm first before we can think about rises.
The sudden decline in price this past days went too fast, that this speculation is nowhere to be seen happening since almost all alts and bitcoin fell without no definite reason just a simple correction or manipulation. With 10 days left I'll be trying to do day trade in some of my ETH and still hopes to earn before I do some buy back as there might no high increase yet about to happen.
if the price of bitcoin can survive at this time, I'm sure maybe ethereum can go back up, and other altcoins will also go up,
don't expect $ 250 !, we have to pass $ 180 before that, just pray

Praying is the worst situation you could find yourself in. It only means you are in too deep and about to get rekt. A smart investor should always invest with what he can afford to lose. Also, diversification is key. Owning US stocks is great for the past two years of crypto bear market.
