121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Worldopo - Economic Dapp game, Crypto using AR and Geo on: October 05, 2019, 07:47:53 PM
By the way, Youtube has many videos already about Worldopo - tutorials, gameplay, etc. Ima Poob is an avid gamer and makes a lot of game videos, Worldopo included. Check out his Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNjNiAbN5Loqu7ZGsxtGzPQ

122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing on: October 05, 2019, 07:33:42 PM
Hey, digitalcoins aka Andrey Voronkov. Keep talking, I would like to hear more about the Sonm DAO. More importantly on how will development and adoption go on with limited funding resources. I still believe good software is valuable if its really useful albeit user-friendliness barriers.

Sure. First of all DAO is supposed to limit tokens supply, which will lead to rise of the prize. Then this can be used for funding.

Let me guess the SONM DAO will freeze a percentage of the holdings of a SNM token holder and whatever SNM token the DAO holds they can sell it in the market? A little explanation, I don't get it
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]An automatic data processing "Google" on: October 05, 2019, 07:23:03 PM
I must say despite the death of many coins and tokens during the bear market, Webrunes is still alive and doing things in the background. Dear team, what is your motivation? How do you survive at all when everyone needs to eat?

Their CEO will attend https://www.fec6.fed4fire.eu/ on October 15 (Athens, Greece) and present a report on Stage 1 Experiment https://imec.wr.io/.

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 03, 2019, 05:56:56 PM
It's because the chinese scam that was eating ~50% of the gas finally ended. Devs drained the contract, so no one is playing the game. No more crazy load from 1 dapp.

But Ethereum still needs to be scalable. If one single DApp even if ponzi or scam, clogs the network, that is not good at all for legit resource-hogging apps.

Does this mean that now we will get another coin? Like the one which gave us ETC? Or this is just a routine fork that won't play any major role.

The ETC fork is a contentious one meaning a substantial part of the ETH community disagree with "rescuing the failed "The Dao." This time everybody is on board with fork updates.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Closings bountyhive? on: October 03, 2019, 12:10:02 AM
This is certainly a bad omen for dedicated bounty management services. I'm not a BountyHive member but I certainly had done some bounty work for 0xbounty and BountyMiner. So far both are working, but I haven't been paid yet.  Sad
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Worldopo - Economic Dapp game, Crypto using AR and Geo on: October 03, 2019, 12:04:01 AM
I invested $240 and bought 2000gems and bought the miners are started mining. I now have over 50k gems and the entire time the pushed the price per gem up each and every sales stage. The price was $0.25 I think.
So obviously the inflation is insane I more certainly do not have 50k x $0.25 bitcoin value of these tokens. I have that much worth if you buy through the ply store.

I stopped playing the game months ago because the game now lags so much since I have so many farms. I make more gems then I can spend. It lags so much it takes 30 minutes of pure frustration just to collect everything. It is unplayable and eventually, the miners stop loading since they stretch out so far the game doesn't seem to be able to handle itself once you build a certain number of mines. I have a few hundred mines,
Very cool idea and very cool idea. There was talk about an update but this has not happened for months it looks abandoned but telegram is still active but I have not been to the telegram group for months. I put this game in the back of my mind. Maybe will all just lost our money? I would like to know what is going on so anyone who can shed light on this please do so.

Lag? I never heard a miner complained about that, maybe I skipped a conversation related to it. Also, the announced update doesn't talk about that.

You can follow this thread as I try to update Bitcointalk members about Worldopo's "progress." I have vested interest in the success of this game.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: October 01, 2019, 07:58:37 PM
Sad news for Lunyr,  the LUN/ETH has been delisted by Binance already.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-delists-trading-pairs-some-include-tokens-from-its-launchpad

The only pair that is left now is LUN/BTC.. if the volume will not recover, I'm afraid soon that pair will be delisted also.
That's the problem, the binance often delists the coins. Now the LUNYR has a large volume of trading in binance paired with Bitcoin (more than $ 100k). but if delisting occurs, the token will die completely. And the developers have been silent since November.
Why keep a coin listed on exchange when there hasn't been any development in years? Bittrex already delisted LUN, I don't know what Binance is waiting for. Probably a lot of people are getting scammed and continue to be if not delisted from Binance.

Probably because back then in the 2017 bull market, Binance charged a hefty listing fee. It would be goddamn heartless to immediately delist something they made a lot of money out of. How much was the listing fee back then? I remember 10BTC.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing on: October 01, 2019, 07:53:22 PM
Staying quiet is a bad thing in my opinion since every token ICO that has gone under usually started by staying quiet and then staying quiet permanently. Look at the Token announcement section, most are already dead. I sure wish karma or some retribution comes to these failed teams.

AI and VR related projects mostly died or scam. Worldopoly tried hard to raise enough funds but still, they are yet. There is no investor left for such ICO projects. All of their whitepaper words are fake, lie and bullshit. UBEX was AI-based and their all words are fake. And about telegram chat activity. Nowadays, it is very easy to make an active chat in a telegram, just spend 5-6 ETH, your telegram group will be full of active people with great praising! Worldopo is not a talkable project anymore.

It is very hard to make in-roads with new technology. 3D printing was all the rage back then and now it is out of the limelight, many startups gone, but the industry is still there. Worldopoly or the new name, Worldopo still has players sticking with it along with some investors. It's not over until the fat lady sings.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Smart Containers SMARC ICO 🗺✈️ Scaling a Running Logistics Business on: September 29, 2019, 06:51:28 PM
At Smart Containers, we take security very seriously. We use Securosys HSMs to secure all IoT containers' digital keys.

Unparalleled security for SkyCell’s smart containers through banking grade Securosys Hardware

We don't exactly know what is happening in the background, till now we are just seeing updates about how to safe the containers and how to secure the containers but why don't you concentrate on the investors because they invested into your project?

Dear miningguru,

Sorry, could you please specify what your question is? In what sense are you asking Smart Containers to "concentrate on the investors"?

Regards
Ineff

He meant why aren't you addressing his concerns as an investor. He like 99% of the investors, are interested to know if they are going to profit from smart containers and how? We can't even trade the token.

Anyway, this update is adequate enough. https://medium.com/smart-containers/smart-containers-quarterly-update-q2-2019-f579ae30f6a9
There was a token on the exchange, it seems. I remember exactly that there was an exchange.

UPD. Oh yeah, I found everything, I remember the token on the forkdelta.

ForkDelta? No one really trades there anymore. The hype of decentralized exchanges have died down, people are more concerned about ease of use and liquidity. If SMARC token trading volume went up in ForkDelta, it will be insider trading I will presume.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: September 29, 2019, 06:45:07 PM
Wow, this thread is indeed abandoned. I will probably not get any new updates about Lunyr here. What was the Discord channel they maintained? Probably more info there.
I only look at this thread every time I like to see an update, however, due to the bad market situation, people who are supporters of this project might stop sharing news already, because it's only fun to share news when it has significant effect on the price.

You should check int he OP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1818468.0 and try to visit the links to get some information.

Sorry, man. I've checked Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Reddit, Medium and not a peep from Lunyr people. The only thing "positive" is the website is still up and Arnold Pham still has a Lunyr LinkedIn profile.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 29, 2019, 06:33:11 PM
Anyway, based on past experiences, you shouldn't invest in an ICO/IEO in a run-of-the-mill project in a bear market because it will truly dump once it gets listed on a popular exchange. There are more skeptical people in a bear market than rather a bull market. Only noobs buy a coin on exchange listing shilled by popular crypto influencers.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: September 28, 2019, 05:45:50 PM
Tether has been around since 2017, and has experienced a lot of FUD and volatility so far, but it still stands and keep the No. 1 position of stable coin in the market. So we can trust it, especial when they use Tron and Ethereum chain to reduce fee.

Well, apparently the FUD presented by Twitter user @Bitfinexed, is mostly hot air. There is a grain of truth in what he said but it is not something to worry about. In fact, I believe it was not Tether's fault that the dollar backing went to 85%. I think it was the state of New York.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: September 28, 2019, 05:41:46 PM
The comeback of altcoins will take time indeed. Here in Bitcointalk, far less people are posting even with the amount of spam. Even more less are on the announcement sections of coins that used to be hot back in 2017. I firmly believe it would take Bitcoin to reclaim ATH price before altcoins become rejuvenated again.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: September 26, 2019, 08:13:47 PM
nobody buy this ***
sadly... dead coin

If this goes to 1 satoshi without an exchange delisting, I'm a buyer. If people are dumb enough to sell desperately, it would really might go there. Keep the FUD going! I will catch your dumps.

I don't know why people are spreading negative news about the Dent's coin, yes, it is a very good chance to grab the coin when it is at 1 Satoshi because now the market situation is completely in an unpredictable stage, which most of the coin prices are decreasing in the market.

You don't know? Of course people will voice out their concerns because their bags are getting heavier every minute and losses keep piling up. Have you ever hear any holder complain when the price is shooting up?
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: September 26, 2019, 08:09:21 PM
Bitcoin is currently getting cheaper by the minute. Maybe it's time you buy Bitcoin and maybe sell before the halving event in May 2020. Heck, you can even buy Ethereum which is also crashing at the moment.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 25, 2019, 03:57:37 PM
It is simple, my friend. All of crypto is still technically speculative meaning no real demand because of usage. So, buyers are enticed by profit. And when a coin is hyped to be added to an exchange, unsuspecting newcomers think this is fomo time and buy at any price while those who are already in profit dump their coins asap causing a cascading effect where all the rest suffer losses.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: September 25, 2019, 03:52:59 PM
Warning: One or more bitcointalk.org users have reported that they strongly believe that the creator of this topic is a scammer. (Check their trust page to see the detailed trust ratings.) While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims, you should proceed with extreme caution.

I don't think this warning shows in the OP. Default Trust members usually add flags now to warn people and besides the OP is an ICO marketer and is not connected to the Dent dev team.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can explain this crash... on: September 25, 2019, 03:48:21 PM
Many traders sold the disappointing trading volume of Bakkt and add to that the fud about the hashrate drop which actually happens occasionally and the triangle traders are watching at. It is a confluence of these factors.
