481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP on: March 13, 2018, 06:22:18 PM
You only daytrade Ripple and not invest in it. As the other replies say, the high supply especially in the hand of the few which includes prominent members of the founding team can threaten your token's value if they decide to dump on the market.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me where to sell coins on: March 13, 2018, 06:18:19 PM
EtherDelta is suspiciously shady now. Go to Fork Delta https://forkdelta.github.io/

Or better yet for more volume, try https://idex.market/

Or the best move is wait for a better well-known exchange like Binance to offload your coins.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Launching ] Achilles -ACH - Biometric,SOS, Implant-Masternodes PoW on: March 13, 2018, 06:15:27 PM
I have no tattoos or body piercing. I can't imagine having a small chip inside my body at all times.  Huh Maybe I'm just too conservative or naive. But this great though if it could placed anywhere a robber or kidnaper won't know about.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: March 13, 2018, 05:52:22 PM
...
PS: And there was no ICO. Wink

honestly speaking this argument does not work. there is 10s of coins with one man show , delisted, slow development etc. bytecent, ignis, partly pdc , etc

so, that valid for you also "investor" Smiley we are probably in the same boat. not sure if that is right decision to invest into huge idea with small budget

In fact ICOs are great, especially if the developer team is compose of the right people, people that are reputable in the field of blockchain technology. ICOs with the right team ensures commitment and they would not be bogged down with family or financial problems which is the case for many personally-funded projects or projects with pre-mine.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No more facebook campaigns? on: March 08, 2018, 04:46:27 PM
Meh, I still see Facebook ICO ads, right smack center on top of the news feed. I think it's not technically an ad but a post about a Facebook page where you can click to join or find out more.

I don't think they can say no to ad money.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: March 08, 2018, 03:48:07 PM
write a command to Sia. full of shit. They do not want to work. we just need that Sia added on all exchanges.
If this will be added in the new exchanges right now with great volume then maybe we can see the value grow.
I think they are more concentrating on the development than putting it in a high volume exchanges, whatever the team decide
I cannot still sell my sia due to low value.
All market is down recent days, when it recovers we will see Siacoin price move to higher levels.

Yeah, I don't understand people complaining about the price decrease, when all the market is going down.
The only price that matters in that time is the price in BTC, is it increasing or decreasing

SIA will gat some real value vs. fiat, not only vs. BTC, than will be less volatile
now, when BTC gains vs. fiat, logically all altcoins that doesn't have any direct value vs. fiat are falling down under
but SC is a massive project
and I am hodling it.

I think it will still take some time until the alternative crypto market moves in a decoupled way from BTC. Right now there is still a very strong correlation because everything stands or falls with BTC's future.

Sad to say you're right. I already noticed twice when Bitcoin is mooning towards $20,000, all the other coins dumped, like 95% literally out of 1,500 coins. Only when Bitcoin is perceived to be just ranging in price, did altcoins prosper for a brief moment in the first days of 2018.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: March 08, 2018, 03:43:06 PM
I don't really mind a 51% development fund, but.... they must have a goddamm good reason to have a large share like that. One good example is they already have a working minimum viable product or some partnership with a known reputable organization.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TRST] WeTrust - For the People, By the People! on: March 07, 2018, 09:27:46 AM
Hi there, what's hapening with this project is everything okay?
Had some tokens a while ago came back to see it again.
There is no problem with the project, in fact they give good updates but we have to understand that we are in a bearish season.
Even how good the updates are, we cannot easily attract the confidence of the people as the price movement of bitcoin can significantly affect the altcoins, that is the reality.
Thanks, agree altcoins depeds from mercy of bitcoin.Still very strange how such a solid project remais stagnant in terms of price for so long. Will have a look into it deeper-it might be a good time to buy.

Oh, that's the way some coins go. Month after month of nothingness and then one day and in just a few days, the price climbs to 5,000%. This is altcoin territory. If you can't stomach very low volumes, you can just stick to BTC or ETH.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 07, 2018, 09:12:12 AM
Regular people aren't scared to show their ID to a legit company like Jumio.

i've never heard of jumio.

regular people associate crypto with drug dealing, pedophiles and scams. if it was being distributed through their local bank or paypal then that's a different matter. they're not gonna go for this in the form it is.

And the more you give out your identity to online services, no matter what or who they are, you are increasing the attack surface on your identity. I guess it's somehow inevitable since we are getting more wired every day.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SDRN] Senderon - ERC20 Project Funding Token on: March 07, 2018, 08:51:20 AM
Why has the price gone down so much?

Buying now will be a good decision. its too cheap now! and you can easily double or make atleast 150% Roi if you sell at the right time.

I Just bought more at 61 sats and set a sell order at 120sats Cheesy easy and just a simple waiting game.

I totally agree with you about the price movement of SDRN, the project developer is an active fellow and he have not abandon the project since the distribution of 40,000  sdrn airdrop to everybody.

The release of different version of sdrn wallets simply shows that the project is alive and any positive thing can happen.

I'm still waiting on "how to stake an Ethereum token", or did I miss something? The alt markets are brutal, the smaller the market cap the worse it dumps when btc corrects.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Matchpool - Alpha release is live - Join now! on: March 06, 2018, 11:05:40 PM
It is matter of days when Fund0x platform will be live for funding different projects. I was watching the main webpage where it is showing GUP token and Ethereum as acceptable currencies. It should be strictly limited to GUP tokens only if team want to make the token valuable and utility in true senses. There should not be alternative way to invest the projects.

I hope GUP breaks away from the general trend of altcoins and tokens. So far most of the coins  are all moving in sync against the US dollar. Sometimes I question the value of decentralization since the Bitcoin market affects all coins.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SIRIN LABS ICO - Secure Blockchain Consumer Electronics on: March 06, 2018, 10:52:47 PM
I hold a lot of coins or tokens and most of them are already trading with less than 40btc daily volume. I'm surprised that SRN is trading with 200btc 24 volume in Bittrex and in Liqui. Bot or not?
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (QTUM) - A Scalable PoS Smart Contract Platform - MainNet Complete! on: March 06, 2018, 10:45:26 PM
Currently, countless projects have been based on QTUM to launch the market, at least there is an attempt, these motivations would be what QTUM could represent in a few months? QTUM is the Japanese ETH? If so, I need to get some coins! Grin

Japanese ETH? I haven't heard any one of them QTUM-based projects in Japan. Could you care to list them here if you can? It's a bullish sign when projects are build on top of a blockchain protocol.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: March 06, 2018, 09:03:04 PM
SONM partners with Dbrain.

SONM has partnered with Dbrain — a company creating a service for neural network training. We are going to provide Dbrain with computational power in this mutually beneficial partnership.

https://blog.sonm.io/sonm-partners-with-dbrain-56b15fcbe48e

We are excited to announce that we will be powering @dbrainio. Their Platform Turns Data Into Real-World #AI Solutions. #SONM was chosen over @awscloud for our rapid scalability and cost-effectiveness.

Hmmm... I'm becoming biased towards SONM. So much promising stuff out there. What do you think? $10 minimum in two years? I remember NOT buying ETH at 50 cents because of all the negativity emanating from the other parts of this forum. You probably need 100,000 SNM to become a millionaire.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ITO][NODE] Intelligent technology for wireless energy! on: March 01, 2018, 05:02:17 PM
Personal Account just got upgraded!

From now on you are able to see the details of each transaction connected with the NODE Tokens, including hash. This way, you will be more secure and safe making your transactions.

Also, our 20% bonus is still active, so it's your chance to test a new personal account upgrade by buying more tokens!

This is in the dashboard, yes? I'm sorry, the imgur image didn't load on my end. 20% bonus now , eh. Wifi is widely used by every local networks, but technology has much to improve on.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOURCHAIN - Let's Make Crypto YOURS Again! on: March 01, 2018, 04:58:20 PM
Who cares it was free coin and project look great if dev will work out hard to make all the best.DEv take all your time to develop a great decentralized blockchain

Well, I want to know what's happening now. Hi DE, it's already March 1. I hope you have a detailed and sound plan to make this new network. I really wish this becomes a success story.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Refereum — Game marketing and rewards (Quotes from Twitch and Unity3D) on: March 01, 2018, 04:51:32 PM
I wanted to buy this at ICO, too, but missed out due to the private sale. However, I tpicked some up here today from a whale that is dumping for quick flip: https://etherdelta.com/#0x4b8b5a2cf16c4828a1449a542a879e7811038b76-ETH

To the Moon!!!
whether etherdelta can be used for now? because I saw yesterday it still can not be used for sale and purchase transactions

https://idex.market/ is the new EtherDelta. It has the most volume for decentralized exchanges. Maybe you should contact them to add Refereum.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: March 01, 2018, 02:27:39 PM
After so many weeks first time the price has come down below 2000 sat and this sounds to be a better time to fill your bags or hold on to set your order even further low as 1700 or 1500 as BTC may start going up anytime and altcoins would be facing a tough situation.

This is a must thing to do right now, Its better to HODL more while in dip.

Take the chance because in a couple of months, the value of SONM will rise up for surely.

I don't mind SONM dropping like a rock. Dumb money is always there. I remember NEO dropping for months, from 55 cents to 11 cents. It's like the earliest investors can wait to sell (they bought NEO for only 3 US cents).

The second ICO buyers were rage-quitting and lamenting their huge losses. How much is NEO now? LMAO. I feel SONM will shoot up soon and you dumb money will cry again.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why the hell people invest in coins with a huge supply. on: February 27, 2018, 08:36:35 AM
So here I am looking at Coin Market Cap and the supply of coins. I'm just curious why the hell people invest in coins with a huge supply. Coins like Ripple, Tron, Cardano, Stellar Lumens, IOTA, and Tether, just to name a few. All of which have a supply into the BILLIONS. Thoughts?

*I've bought Tron and have gotten rekt since but am still learning.

Supply doesn't really matter if there are uses for it. For example, if Bitcoin had billions of tokens it wouldn't be as costly as it is today. There are drawbacks to it but in the long run you can get as much profit. Bitcoin jumps from $10k to $100k is same as billion tokens coin jump from $0.10 to $1. Both are possible and I would say second is more likely than the first one. Risky but reward is there for those who invest.

Sadly, all crypto still has no visible or palpable use today. All is pure speculative demand. I haven't heard any use case in practice. Some startup tried money remittance but the markets are volatile.

I think gambling with coins is still the number one use and illegal drugs.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DIRA - The only coin with the BrainMining! on: February 27, 2018, 08:30:55 AM
wow! just kept an eye on the braincypher page (without doing anything) ... and literally watched (for at least two minutes), as the majority of these were solved in less than 5 seconds .. that isn't possible by human! horseshit! it's the same amount of time it takes me to calculate just the position ... let alone typing the first word. something isn't kosher there. and, this happens with the majority ... between 5 and 6 seconds

Just checked back ^^ it's almost impossible at this time. I waited for the image to refresh so i can start a new one .. it changed in about 4 seconds. there is NO WAY any human is that fast. bullshit!

Guys, have you ever heard of "asians"? Cheesy

even so .... that is way to quick Cheesy

Coffeehouse .. are you saying you use a shortcut method

I still type it in. But I made a spreadsheet that finds the correct answers. It is very easy. Anyone can do that. Thats why it needs to be changed.

Yeah, just by looking at it, I get headaches. Though, its a novel way to mine for coins. One of these days I might try to give it a go (solving puzzles).
