Also, loosing Bittrex was a hit but, CLOAK is a strong project with a great product. Be patient, things will turn around. And, you really don't need to make a post every time the price fluctuates. We are in a much better position than 90% of the projects out there. Patience... That's Binance, mate. We lost Binance, not Bittrex. I agree, CLOAK is a strong project and it's quite good to see that the core team is not giving up after that Binance de-listing (which still doesn't make any sense to me, they literally de-listed a few gems!). Binance, yep, slip of the keyboard! Maybe they are running scared because of the privacy coin discussions but most likely some internal thing we will never know about... |

Wraith release date failed horribly by not meeting the scheduled release date 31st December that really let down alot of investors and caused the coin to dump (apparently not the first time xvg has failed to meet scheduled dates) when it released it had issues (give or take release dates don't always run so smoothly for most coins)
Core developer had a yahoo email address that got hacked and had his twitter or fb page hijacked... Seriously the irony on a privacy coin developer getting hacked.. Double irony for using yahoo email address lol.
Multiple 51% attacks (3 or 4 times) the coin ended up forking without even letting everyone know lol.
Android wallet had connectivity issues via tor, couldn't even recover xvg balance from the wallet even using the seed recovery process failed.
Ah, the comic relief from a newbie (fake troll account) Why do these people even bother? Go to a church and preach about the devil, same result. Bye now... |

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of the launch of the ARK genesis block and the start of the ARK network! A very special thank you to all who have been with us since day 1 and of course everyone that has joined since. Here is to many more years to come!
 Congrats to us all. But I have a question BoldNinja: There are plans to rebuild a lite web wallet as it was with v.1 core? The desktop one is becoming more and more complicated and not all the people are specialist to use it. With this situation only experts can hold ark and not novices which are much more in number. No sorry, there are no future plans for webwallets. As all desktop wallets are syncless HD there is no need for webwallets. We choose to stick with our secure desktop and mobile wallets for many reasons. One being security, but as i am sure you are aware the ARK wallets also connect with ledger hardware wallets/have intuitive UI/have dynamic fees/allow all created ARK bridgechains/upcoming marketplace and plugins/future nano x integration/etc... We are very proud of our wallets and there is a reason they have been called the best in the industry, we will continue updating them and making everything more and more streamlined while adding amazing features. Sidenote: last week i had a friend install, setup, and receive ARK on his new smart phone. He has never used a computer before and has only had an old flip phone until now. The only thing he asked was if he should write the passphrase in pen or pencil lol. If my friend of absolutely no technical knowledge (I mean he can't even figure out how to setup a new tv or video game console) can setup and use an ARK wallet, while understanding it better than his personal checking account.... I think we are going the right direction. Of course first iterations of any software takes time to mature and i am not saying anything is perfect, but give it a minute and report anything you would like to see different/changed and we can all grow this together. Good explanation. I like the desktop wallet more than most other project's wallets, simple and intuitive. Ever try to get Komodo's Agama wallet up and running in a hurry? Or figure out just what your balance represents?  Plenty of other over complicated wallets out there as well. On the other hand, perhaps the voting functions are the issue as this adds some complexity to the wallet. Anyway, hope everyone including n2004al is happy with Ark, I know I am! |

I scrolled down to the bottom and see he's mentioning Komodo there. This jl777 guy who found Komodo need to go to jail, he's creating endless scam coins, jlfund, supernet, bitcoindark and a few others I forgot throughout the years... most are security fraud. I hope law enforcements are after him, all these are known to him on his bitcointalk messages but I think he have created no less than 10 scam coin/token platforms all dead and he have made tons of Bitcoins off of it. I did mention that project to not seem so biased, I know they are not DPoS so they have little chance to offer anything like what ARK is going to and already can. They have recently hired brand managers and pr teams(wachsman, same ones that worked with lisk) and they have decided to market themselves as an ark competitor with their own version of blockchain creation. Quite literally they are pushing it everywhere and have recently pulled the old partnership lie that used to be everywhere a few years back. They have claimed they are "partners" with amazon, because they used aws to install the new blockchains on. Which is like saying ARK is partners with bitcointalk because we post here. They have even gone out of their way to pull the old rebranding bullshit out of the hat. Of course, I could not say this in the article. But I feel where you are coming from, and hopefully the communities can see through it all. Im sure people will flood their reddits or twitters or whatever soon enough. KMD is a highly advanced project in the same arena as ARK with multi-level functionality. JL777 is a well known coder and early adopter of the technology. While some people confuse innovation with scamming, I can assure you he is not a scammer and the Komodo project will prosper and grow. Is this project still viable? No communication, no announcements, whats up? I converted to the new coin, should I just trash them or is there still a plan?
