401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Satoshi successfully hid his identity? Using what technologies? on: November 09, 2017, 01:20:35 AM
I am not really good with technologies but for the fact he invented decentralize method of currency, for sure he's/they're definitely genius with all terms of technology. I got curious with Satoshi as well and made some research, I saw a post where identity of Satoshi are being sold in black market due tho the fact that someone tracked his real IP even he used TOR.  But the article was posted 2015 and I don't find it reliable
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying using BTC on: November 08, 2017, 11:58:34 PM
Why dont google, youtube pay us with bitcoins?

BTC isn't stable unlike the traditional currency. digital currency is really volatile and change the value every minute, every hour. BTC and other crypto's have still lot to prove before major merchants accept and include this as on of their mode of payments.
403  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Legit exchanges now ? on: November 08, 2017, 12:15:28 AM
I am not sure if my preferred exchange is affiliated or under US & Canada regulation, but I prefer Poloniex and so far this is the best exchange for me. A little bit disadvantage is that their supported coins are very limited compared to Bittrex. And despite of some allegations being thrown to this exchange, I still trust and do my tradings using this site.

405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2017, 03:31:37 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

Nothing, respect him/her. It's their own opinion. And since you know that someone doesn't like BTC, then don't open that topic again. We are not here like "bitcoin warriors" to defend BTC all the time. If they feel like btc is scam and shady, it's their loss while we are enjoying how great btc is  Cool

I haven't fully read the White Paper. Just want to ask, since there are different services offered to a car, like a full package "car insurance", will you partner to those huge companies, like for the repair shop, car company etc? Or this will work independently?
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help our community using bitcoins? on: November 06, 2017, 02:26:59 PM
Do you we can help our community using our bitcoins? How and in what way we can do it? Do we pay taxes for bitcoins?

There's no tax since crypto doesn't have any regulations. But like what other said, BTC acts like a money in a "digital" way. Of course we can still help the community and the government. The tax still applicable if one merchant has a product on the market and it has government tax, of course the total value in BTC that you'll be paying will include the tax.

Just watched the YouTube presentation and will read the WP if I have more time. I like the idea, this project will definitely roll out on the market for long years. And car now a days is a necessity and for sure, this project will be noticed by the community.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: why btc price increase highly in this year? on: November 06, 2017, 06:31:05 AM
I would say because of awareness. This is one of the reasons why BTC price is really high and I would expect it until this last month of this year. Because of awareness, demand is really high and many people converting their cash into digital currency.  We may also consider big whales who are playing on BTC and I hope they dump it till next year  Cheesy

411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Typical banks, will they ever take Bitcoin seriously? on: November 06, 2017, 03:11:15 AM
What do you mean by the word "seriously"? I have different interpretations about your question. First, if you mean they take bitcoin and other crypto as serious matter, I would say YES. Cryptocurrencies source of funds are the traditional money we have, we tend to convert in to digital currency and use for several stuff like trading. So I am pretty sure that all banks are aware of this and they continue to learn about this currency. If you mean the word "serious" is like a threat to them, I highly doubt it and crypto will never a threat to all banks. I see this only as an alternative to traditional money and crypto can never be replaced traditional currency.

413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret when it comes to Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 03:38:14 AM
My biggest regret to Bitcoin is when I didn't listen to my old friend back in 2014 when the value is really low. Since I wasn't that much into internet that year and bitcoin is really new to my ears. I thought it was a "shady" pyramiding style marketing.  Until this year when bitcoin and Crypto itself broke the internet news due to high value. So yeah, now I am here to learn something, invested in Bitcoin and currently learning about ICO for possible investments

418  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GOOD JOB Failon Ngayon for Exposing Reality in Bitcoin and SCAM on: October 30, 2017, 06:21:42 AM
Yesterday night, nag palabas ang Failon Ngayon about online scam using Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency. And IT WAS A GOOD AND EYE OPENER TO ALL OF US. Yan naman talaga ang nangyayari sa digital world, ang mga networker nag ttake advantage at nakiki ride sa hype ng bitcoin at ginagamit to scam other people. Refer ditto, refer diyan, sali kayo sakin within one day may 1 btc ka na etc etc etc.

Bakit masaya kayong nangyare yung ganun. Nabroadcast yung bad side ng bitcoin? Kung matalino kayo at iisipin niyo and medyo umaasa kayo sa bitcoin. Dapat dun sa Failon maiinis kayo. Ang navisualize dun is yung other angle of the story of bitcoin. Payag ba kayo kunwari iba ang sabihin ng mga tao sa inyo? Yung side niyong hindi maganda? Diba? Ngayon nagoffer na ng resolution for this. Pag naban yung btc sa bansa ano rejoice?

Seryoso ka diyan? So ano gusto mo sabihin kung gaano kaganda ang bitcoin which sa totoo naman talaga ay nagagamit sa pang sscam? And may I ask, is this the first you've watched Failon Ngayon? Or nakikisakay lang sa hype? The program focus on different wrong doings, na expose nila ang "online pautang", "online networking", at ngayon online scam. And you know what paano ko nakilala si bitcoin? THRU ONLINE NETWORKING SCAM, and because of it, nagging aware ako kung ano ang masama sa crypto and online then nag karon ako ng "curiosity"  till I found this forum and some good articles to support my basic knowledge. Kung side na maganda ang tatalakayin, may mga article na sa FB ang ABS-CBN about good side of bitcoin and kung tatalakayin yun sa Failon Ngayon ang good side ng bitcoin, you think kakayanin siya ng 15 mins? Of course not. Napakadami ng article ng ABS-CBN about bitcoin. Palibhasa ilan dito ang real news kay Mocha Uson e. Again ang FAILON NGAYON MOSTLY TACKLES ABOUT EXPOSAY AND HINDI SIYA EDUCATION PROGRAM.

Matuto kasi kayo mag research, hindi puro banat ng banat.

By the way, para sa mga marunong mag internet at manuod ng TV pero hindi marunong mag Google. Here's the link of ABS-CBN bitcoin. WELCOME GUYS

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering(How to choose best ICO?) on: October 30, 2017, 06:09:46 AM
This have been asked for so many times. Anyway, there are lot of ways on how to choose good ICO. One is of course, do a research to company you are looking for. Try to check their background and members of the project. Second is the community, how active they are and how transparent they are to their campaign.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: October 29, 2017, 11:44:59 AM
I just logged into MEW and when check my balance everything except 45 tokens everything else has gone! My wallet was hacked, but where have all my tokens gone?

I am devastated. Has anyone else been hacked how is this possible?

I am not sure what to do! please advice folks.

I am confuse, how someone hacked your MEW account? Did you use a computer rent or something? Have you checked your private keys? This is kinda alarming since I've seeing a lot their MEW is getting hacked. May I ask everyone how you guys keep your private keys? Mine is stored on my Google Drive and I would like to know other way how to secure it.
