Has this been confirmed to be a scam or is there still hope left for BITBASE? A lot of people doubt this is serious. How much did the dev collect?
Dev is now a millionaire. . . 13 million dollars. This is just money from the ICO. Also, you got to take into account some people sent BTC over to the internal exchanges and couldn't withdraw. Also, you got to take into account he dumped with yobit on coinexchange as well at $6. So total profit is hovering around ~15-20 mill dollars  How did he manage to raise $13 million without anyone seriously questioning his intentions or project? This is not just some newbie losing a couple k dollars, but millions and millions of dollars. I don't even know whom to blame. I start thinking people deserve to lose money if they throw such amounts after someone who could easily disappear. Maybe all victims should overhaul their due diligence process... there are lots of idiots who believes in easy profits. he deserves every penny he scammed from these idiots. money always flow from stupid people to smarter ones. I fear you are right especially with the last part of your comment that money always flows from stupid people to smarter people. In crypto you can observe that a lot. Not sure if BITBASE now proved to be a scam as I haven't been following it very closely, but people complaining here are not a good sign for BITBASE. |

I want to see that happening as well because it helps proving you guys are all real. It's exhausting to find out whether all those profiles might exist in the first place and whether it's actually true that that person is working for your project. Go to large conferences, talk about your project and people will have less problems with trusting you and investing. Her guy! You can check all the data, there is a white paper where everything is written, I think for you it will not be difficult to spend some time to study more. Ok I write a whitepaper and that alone proves everything is legit? Are you serious? Put some names on it and say "here we are, everything is real". LOL. Those numbers make me cry that I don't own a masternode or two. It's an incredible return given the assumption that the probability for that amount to go further up over time when crypto is even more adopted is 100%. Congrats to everyone running a masternode! |

I remember those times when buying sufficient coins for a single master node was possible for the average joe, but I think those times are over  You need 5000 at this point in time. I am not even using this change.org stuff but there is an idea coming to my mind. It would be great to have a scam index or something, and when you give a scam vote then there will be a score calculated based on the ranks of all members or something. So that newbies can't destroy a project by calling it scam. Would be helpful to have statistics where you can see that reputed members of the community think something is a scam. Still not the most desirable approach, but maybe better than just let those scams happen again over and over again. We need a bitcointalk police! |

Last 13 hours before the first ico ends, they've raised around $847,802, though the tokens where not maximized, only sold around 1.7m tokens, i think they're still doing pretty impressive. i hope the ico will be better in the coming 2nd and 3rd phase.
Yeah, 1.7m tokens or $847,802 is not bad for a start. It will surely get better on the 2nd phase and so on as they will be releasing the demo app which will attract more investors. That's right I'm expecting more investmrnt on the 2nd stage of ICO however, I wonder why they did not release the free demo during Pre ICO. So that the investors will experience it already and maybe there is a possibility that they will invest more. I'm just wondering. If Im not mistaken , the demo will be release during the 2nd stage of ICO . Great news, demo app version will be available soon... by the end of november. Is development of the demo application confirmed to be fully on track? Would be nice to see them stick to the roadmap. Gogogo  It was announced on their telegram and said they are already working on the development as promised to the investors, they also targeting to be fully operational by may 2018 so alot of update will be happening. Great but still some waiting time ahead of us where things could turn out to be more difficult than expected. Hope they can do everything as planned. Would be awesome to have it ready by that date. |
