401  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Should we pay taxes on Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2018, 09:24:54 AM
I don't pay taxes and I won't do it.

In some cases it's actually better to pay taxes because it's not worth the problems you'll be going through later on. I was exactly like that in the beginning, but everything that happened with Coinbase confirmed my thoughts about how authorities will force exchanges to hand over information. That's why I decided to pay tax over the coins that I traded with and bought from centralized exchanges. The only case where I don't pay tax is over the coins that I bought externally -- no centralized service has been used to purchase them. Why else do you think that private trades are starting to become more popular? People are sick and tired of regulations.

Well. If I am living a good life in a good country like most of Europe or Singapore or Japan then I don't mind paying my tax well. But isn't enough that governments will only impose tax on exchanges and other trading companies?
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018? on: June 22, 2018, 09:13:45 AM
To litecoin cost 5000, it is necessary that bitcoin rose to at least 45k. The probability of this is about the same as the landing of the man on Mars in 2018.

Good joke. It sounds nearly impossible for litecoin to reach $5,000 this year but crypto volatility is full of surprises though. If bitcoin do reaches $50,000 this year then that $5,000 will turn into a possibility.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 21, 2018, 03:23:18 PM
if we need a govenment that protecting us, provide people  necessary services, taxes are needed. it depends on where you are living. if your government is enough good for supporting their own citizen then it worth of paying taxes. if not it is shame for them to collect taxes.

The sad part is many unstable and underdeveloped countries are also the ones imposing higher taxes. It is hard to not impose taxes though as a government cannot stand without funds unless it's a small country with vast resources enough to stand on its own.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: June 20, 2018, 04:30:17 PM
I will pick Ethereum on this one. But don't get me wrong. I am a believer of these two coins and I am holding both coins for over a long period already. Both coins are also used by some stores already but Ethereums is just bigger as a company with so many partnerships.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to buy more? wait till 6000 or 5500? on: June 20, 2018, 04:15:36 PM
Although we are still in a long wait for bitcoin to recover I think $6,000 will be the lowest price at this moment. Second half of the year is coming and this is the time where bitcoin is very strong.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the Green Days back ? on: June 20, 2018, 03:36:53 PM
I don't think so but still hoping that it happens sooner especially on altcoins as bitcoin is known to have always strong uptrend every late of the year and we are only few months away from that.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: June 20, 2018, 03:18:22 PM
I have heard bitcoin also since the early days as I am also interested on information technology. But it is not until few years back that I started pouring money into it. Still I gained a lot more than my overall lifetime salary and other investments. Well, even those people that invested early last year at $1,000 are still gaining a lot.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: June 10, 2018, 02:25:15 PM
I think it will reach $1000+ so soon, we just need to finish with the selling of silk road coins and waiting for the auction of the FBI coins to finish, maybe selling now also is a good choice as the prices for sure will go down a bit.

Always find the right timing. Make sure to check people selling bitcoin when the price drop. Same rule applies when you are the one selling, find the right timing. Never panic when the price drop. Find the right timing.

Why will people thought of bitcoin dropping at $1,000? I bet most of these people are the ones still hoping to buy bitcoin at low price that until now they are still hoping and are bitter at how it nearly even reached $20,000 last year.  Cheesy
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Homeless use Bitcoin on: May 20, 2018, 03:27:03 AM
how does he access bitcoin? whether he has a pc, smartphone, or laptop. come on, a homeless would not have it. unless they were given the facility to access bitcoin for days, but he still had to think about where they would sleep.

It is obviously fake. It was made by some people who wanted attention or trying to promote bitcoin. I am not being negative here but just realistic. Although this is possible if bitcoin becomes mainstream and can be used anywhere to purchase goods.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is totally red, everywhere. on: May 12, 2018, 02:21:37 AM
It seems like the market is really falling, a very good time to buy, it seems like there is some negative news about bitcoin so that the bitcoin price drops.

Or maybe this is just an ordinary correction after some days of green. The green market will be back again soon.

412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash on: April 30, 2018, 04:32:45 PM
Roger Ver is very keen on forking bitcoin since as he believes that a real digital money is somewhat sort of a coffee money where you can buy staffs even in very small amounts. And we all know we cannot pay bitcoin to buy a single cheap burger in the streets as its transaction fee is too expensive. But bitcoin will have its own upgrades soon as I am sure they are aware on some stuffs that needs to be developed.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: April 30, 2018, 03:04:08 PM
Considering a big loan in order to invest in crypto currencies is just too risky and not advisable in my opinion, even in stock market because there is no assurance on it. Even in some business and real estate don't have assurances too but there are at least more stable.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS price prediction for 2018. on: April 29, 2018, 03:42:15 AM
EOS is good enough, but i do not think that it is gonna be better than ETH anytime soon, in fact, that is almost impossible to happen for me.

I do not even think that NEO can be compared to ETH (and it is almost the same)

Both coins are the same.

I am a die hard of ETH but I don't take EOS lightly especially at this early crypto stage. ETH is just too big though that if it continues to develop and promoted well then it can even overtake Bitcoin. I also prefer EOS over the overstated NEO.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: April 29, 2018, 03:00:56 AM
Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?

It can only get hacked when you accidentally entered your private key on a phishing website. Beware of links from websites or social medias. Never ever use those links to enter your mew account. It is advisable to search mew yourself on google and make sure it is myetherwallet.com . Be vigilant and always be attentive.

Keeping your private key is really the most important part. Phishing sites especially in crypto is becoming common as these scammers know how much money is in here and there are still people especially the new ones not that are not really oriented.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: April 28, 2018, 04:58:09 AM
I would just divide it into two for both bitcoin and ethereum. It would even better if you consider it dividing into 3 or even 5 at max so you will also have the opportunity to pick other solid coins.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: April 28, 2018, 04:24:32 AM
This is the problem with most of these people entering the crypto market without much knowledge and experience. Most of the time they tend to lost hope and suffer with heavy losses. They can only regret at the opportunity when time comes their former coins reached high prices.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH back to the price ~ $ 300 on: April 27, 2018, 06:23:39 AM
What happened now is just a reminder of what happened to them late 2016 and how it bounced back to above $1,000. I actually bought some more eth but at a bit expensive from $750 to $500. But of course this is ethereum and I am just confident with this coin.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: April 27, 2018, 05:42:38 AM
I just find this hard to swallow if ever Ethereum is indeed a scam which is really unlikely. Vitalik Buterin is no way a scammer. Grin And these many projects including too many big ones are a good proof that Ethereum is not a scam. There maybe some kinks need to be addressed.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alts that are going to the moon on: April 27, 2018, 04:48:31 AM
I expect a major altcoin season so most of these fundamentally sound coins will pump a lot. Top 20 coins are good picks but maybe you guys will also consider those good coins that have low mcaps like Stratis, DGB and many more as the tendency to earn more is higher than those on top already.
